[ Thread’s pl: 228,928 x12p ]
A rather warm summer night was weighting down in West Capitol, the easy demonstration of just how hot the surrounding region was overall and giving a nice weather to take a midnight walk in couple or even alone, and by that fact, a nice night for crime to show . The lunar cycle was at his beginning so there was no moon in the sky, only a pale reflection struggling to get through the heavy clouds above the city, if it wasn’t for the streetlamp, nobody would be able to see anything in this place, only darkness and calm, though there was surely things about to happen, the night was too calm for the perfect time there was, and Core was totally sure he wasn’t doing such a great job that in this length of time, there was already no more crime in this place, especially since it was his second or third visit in west capitol as his vigilante self.
The young Arcosian was in his costume, the black armored-like texture of his armor making him hard to see the shape of, though his glowing red were showing his position to those who would look in his exact direction, somehow knowing there was someone there, it was barely visible and easily mistook for anything else in the distance. His cloak was floating in the air like a flag, though there wasn’t much wind to begin with. Core was on top of a building, overlooking the city he was protecting for the night, he really wondered a way to protect all city at the same time, but it was just too complicated, but made easier by the growing belief in hiss existence, some shady apparition on television was making the ‘myth’ of the vigilante growing rapidly, and people were trying to contact him.
This new popularity was somewhat a double-edge sword to Core, first it was making it easier for him to get the message if any major crime was happening in one of the cities as people were usually finding great inventive ways to call him upon a crime scene or aware him of one, like the past week when sent in all radio frequency the information Core needed, and plus, it allowed him to notice he had a device in his cowl to get the frequency, the more you know, like they say, it was an everyday task to figure out everything with that suit, Ayumu wasn’t really clear about everything it could do when he gave it to Core, apparently an Arcosian wore it before, but really, Core had little to no idea if that was true or if Ayumu created the suit for him, both case would make sense.
Suddenly, a light would lighten the sky and everything down, it was really similar to thunder, but it was only in the sky, and in many colors, something having to do with the great heat that was hitting this place, it was soundless but still kind of odd, and for a second, it made everything down that wasn’t already lit by a street lamp flash for a moment in red, maybe someone had seen him because of that, but it was very unlikely, wasn’t it? [Tonight is too calm… is it an crime holiday and nobody told me about it?] He would joke to himself.

The West Capitol was a place Ninjin did not travel to much anymore. There were too many ghosts of the past within the city for her to ever truly feel safe within its boundaries. The site of the initial battle with the BBA had been turned into a park for those that had passed away in the crossfire between the first Super Saiyan of this generation and the leader of the BBA. She had spent a good portion of the afternoon there with her kids and Amalia. Amalia had been retelling her some story about the rumors of a strong vigilante wandering the Capitol nowadays to help protect others. This thought intrigued her as she was something of a rogue and vigilante herself. Having brought many people to justice over the years and yet never once seeking the spotlight as someone like Captain Nova or this new vigilante did.
So Amalia had left and took the kids back to their home while Amalia stayed within the city. Wandering about as the late afternoon turned into the darkness of night. Enjoying the cool crisp air of the Capitol she walked the streets. Up and down random alleys she would wander. This wandering would continue until she noticed the flash of heat lightning streak across the sky. Glancing up into the sky she watched a second bolt roll across the sky like an intricate blanket. As this happened she heard a scream echo ou into the night. It was high pitched obviously feminine in nature.
Taking off with a burst of speed Ninjin made it to the alley where the scream had come from as a man came barrelling out of it and slammed into her. Falling back as she did not move she looked at the man who seemed surprised someone had stood in front of her. Pulling a knife from his pocket she smirked but that faded as she noticed the four other men approaching from the alley. She knew full well she could handle at most three of them with ease. Anymore then that she was in a little bit of trouble. “Seems we have a wannabe hero there boys. Lets gut her and get going…”
His voice scratched out the order as she narrowed her eyes and took in a deep breath. Exhaling slowly she awaited his strike which she deflected his hand and punched him in the elbow shattering it in a practiced strike. She was ready for the others. Of that much she was certain.

As Core was overlooking the city for a while now, there was something bugging him of all the sudden, a power, a signature, one he recognized easily, it was Ninjin, his mentor and good friend, who was in the city probably simply taking a walk around, maybe that was the very reason there wasn’t much crime around, the former turtle hermit was known to be able to defend herself, more than most of the people on Earth by far, so maybe she was just scarring everyone into staying home and not coming out to do some bad stuff, because Core could only imagine the kind of pay that it would bring to try and mug Ninjin, an expert in martial art and close to super-saiyan, it was really the worst idea one could have in a life-time, since when your legs are broken, you can’t do much worst for a while.
When the scream disturbed the night’s silence, Core would quickly fly from roof to roof to arrive at the source of it, in a dark alley were obviously a woman was attacked, but Ninjin arrived before him, which really surprised Core and made him look for a moment at how well she fought, making him smile lightly. ‘’ Damn you fight well… but now I have to help a little!’’ Core would tell himself as he jumped down in the alley, quickly grabbing the girl and bringing her back up on the roof before jumping back into the crowd and trapping the thugs in the alley, Ninjin on a side and him on the other. ‘’ N-not him! We already had the crazy girl, but n-now…’’ One of the thug would say as another would push him out of the way. ‘’ He’s mine you weakling, stay out of my way.’’ He growled as he approached the young Arcosian with a large butcher knife.
Core would stay still; his shape was always unsure and flowing around like a shadow, a great effect of his suit to make his victim uneasy. He leaped toward the man with the knife and stomped him on the ground, his knife simply knocked away as it impacted the suit, which was already armored by its connection with Core’s ki, simply making an metallic impact on him and bouncing away. The Arcosian then grope the big man and threw him on the side to knock his ‘friend’ off at the same time. The Arcosian then approached Ninjin, who was taking care of the last thug, when she was done, he would smile, though his full-face cowl was preventing her to see it. ‘’ Hello Ninjin, what bring you here on this nice night?’’ Core would tell her, his voice was highly modified, and the only way Ninjin would notice it was Core would be through ki-signature, which he was still unable to change. ‘’ I guess it was inevitable that someone I know would cross me in this suit, but don’t say my name, not here at least, someone could overhear…’’ He would say in this deep voice that was clearly modified.

Ninjin was indeed in the process of subduing another of the men as the shadowed figure dropped down snatching the woman. Spinning on her heel Ninjin caught the chin of the second man who had tried to approach her. The impact spinning the man in the air in a cartoonish looking spiral before he clattered to the ground unconscious. As her heel dragged on the ground from the impact the first man chad charged at her and she lowered herself to avoid his grasping lunge elbowing him in the gut. Swinging her torso forward she spun on the front of her foot and landed a hybrid hook uppercut to his jaw. Jacking him up into the air and he landed hard with a thud.
Smirking at Core she knew full well that it was him as she could feel the ki radiating from the figure. Watching him dispatch the other ones with ease A wide smile crossed her face as she looked at him. “Good to see you Avenger. Happy to know that you are not just a rumor and that you are using my training to its ultimate goal of protecting the innocent. And as for why I am here. Well was visiting the memorial park with my family.”
It was obvious she was covering for his knowledge of her name with the training bit. The fact that the young Core was off doing this was something she honestly was not expecting from him. Though it did make her assured that would the world come to danger he would be there to fight. “But other then that I was just in the area and looking for the defender of West Capitol. I think that would be you my old pupil which makes me proud… Though I came because I needed to talk to you about something. So how about we make certain the police have these men then we can leave and go speak elsewhere?”

Seeing his mentor take out the last remaining thug was truly fun for Core, just the beating the guy took was almost delightful, there was no defense against Ninjin from a normal ki-less human and he knew it and for a moment, Core was brought to think the justice had the upper hand in those fights, but he knew there was bigger evil in this world, and he liked to think that they would win should the two forces collide, and considering his own growing power, it didn’t seemed that impossible to his eyes, if he was special and able to grow faster than the others, than maybe he would be a key into those fights, maybe he’d have a huge part to play, and if he could help, at any cost, he would and without hesitation, his new planet, or any planet that contains life, he could defend it at all cost.
When she finally got rid of the thug, Ninjin turned to him and it was clear to him that she knew who he was, which he would answer by a little nod of his head. Hearing the reason why Ninjin was here, Core would smile under his cowl and left out a laugh. ‘’ aww, I would of liked to see your daughter, she was so adorable last time~’’ He would tell her a bit amused, remembering the time he met her daughter and got a touching view of the baby’s humanity, another thing that was convincing him to protect this planet. ‘’ Also… Avenger? I mean, nice that you found a name but… have you heard that somewhere? Because if it’s the name they given me at the TV… I might just use it… it’s getting hard not to have a name for this alter-ego..’’ Core would admit to her amusingly.
The young Arcosian looked at her mentor, she seemed happy about what he was doing, which made him happy in response, he just somehow needed her approval for this, if he thought it was wrong, he didn’t know if he could keep that going. ‘’ Don’t call me your old pupil master Ninjin, you’re still my mentor, I still have to learn a lot from you. As for the police, they’re on their way… I think… I don’t know how it works exactly still…’’ Core would admit to her, poking his earpiece a bit to send a frequency to the police station including his actual position. While they spoke, a girl would come out of the building near and would bow to them before running away. ‘’ Well, I guess she’ll also be fine…’’ HE would say amused by this before jumping high up on the building where they could talk, removing his cowl and mouthpiece as well to face his master properly, after all, no need to hide his identity with her.

“Maybe next time you will get to spend time with both of em instead of just my daughter. As I had both of my twins with me today. Toma was off doing some training today. “ She let out a light laugh of her own at Core as the non chalant way they where speaking as if they were old friends. Which to be honest they were by this point as to Ninjin the fact that he had been there on the Lookout when Maeve took up the position of Kami.
Following him up onto the building after the woman made her presence known that she was safe. Ninjin would speak. “Well Amalia told me about what they are calling you on the television. I rather like the name Avenger. Though seeing as you are an alien how about calling yourself the Galactic Avenger? I mean the name suits you quite well.”
Smiling at him as she moved to sit on a small outcropping of stonework. Down below flashing lights came as the police showed up to gather the unconscious people. The young woman was talking with an officer about what went on and Ninjin’s phone buzzed with a message. Lifting it up she smiled and showed it to Core. “Seems that the police are thanking me and my ‘pupil’ for coming to the young woman’s aid. Seems you are not so much a anonymous anymore as my claiming you has seemed to make them trust you for some reason.”
Shrugging as she looked at him as he removed his mask. “Gotta admit I like the look Core. Defensive armor specifically charged with your ki to make it more impervious to other means of fighting like knives or bullets. Combine that with your own natural tank like nature and most criminals on this planet are going to think twice about doing things around you. So what brought you to this conclusion to become a stalker of evil during the evening?”
As she spoke she would sway on the perch of stone ever so slightly. Seemingly amused with what her friend was doing.

Mentioning that she had twins, not only a daughter, would make Core a little amused, so she had two child after all, maybe the other was just as combative as the first one he met? They would probably make one hell of a duo when they’ll grow up, it would be nice to see probably, but the thought of them made Core look down for a moment, missing his brothers a bit more each day, he really started to wonder where they were, 6 of them left the base, he was certain of it, the scientist wouldn’t let anyone behind… Core figured that they must been in the most known pacific habitable planets… Namek… it was the first place he’d go to look for one of them… Core shook his head, not the moment to think of something like that, he looked back at Ninjin and smiled. ‘’ I’m looking forward to meeting them then!’’ He would answer, though his hesitation would show Ninjin that he lost himself for a moment.
The young Arcosian was thinking about the name, Avenger… that could fit him a bit, though it seemed like it was missing something, an avenger could be anyone that takes revenge, he needed to be more than someone who avenge people… He then heard Ninjin speak the name and smiled widely, the Galactic Avenger, neat, it was the perfect name he could have, he quickly nods and putted his hand on her shoulder. ‘’ Ninjin, you’re a genius.’’ He would say as he stretched up a bit and looked at the moon. ‘’ Galactic Avenger… yup, I’m stealing that one ~’’ He would say amusingly, waving his cape around a bit like he was rediscovering his costume for the first time, he was going to become something else again, maybe an ideal, a symbol of justice.
While thinking about his new name with optimism, he turned to Ninjin only to see on her phone that the police were thanking them for their work and that they now know that he was Ninjin’s pupil, he would look down, a bit concerned. ‘’ Ninjin…’’ He would say as he looked a bit scared for a moment. ‘’ I… there is someone… who hates what I’ve become more than anything and anyone… he wears a huge armor… making him stronger than most ki-user…’’ He would first explain, turning to her, his face showing he was worried. ‘’ If... if people know you’re related to me, that you’re my master… he might chase after you… to get me… and without your super saiyan or something similar…I mean… he can stand a fight with me at one hundred percent… for limited time but still…’’ He would say, not wanting to say the obvious, Ninjin wouldn’t be strong enough to fight him without a power-up of some sort.
Putting this though aside, as Core somehow felt like Ninjin could, should the worst happen, trigger herself into the super saiyan state, or at least he hoped so, he didn’t wanted him to be a problem, a weight to her, especially with how nice she always was to him. When she spoke of his armor, he would giggle a bit, then it followed to a question rather good for the Arcosian, why he was doing all of this, he pondered for a bit before turning to her. ‘’ I guess… it all began with Ayumu, he light up that thing in the sky, apparently there was a vigilante a long ago that did the same thing, an Arcosian like me… and this is his costume, though I customized it a bit to my liking, but I guess I kind of wanted to follow his legacy, and to protect my new home planet, that way I could feel I’m worth of living on it…’’ He would admit to her, touching a bit his armor on his chest and arms. ‘’ and really, it’s also good for training, I’m learning a lot through practice, and it allows me to improve my martial art skills while helping the general life of any citizen, saving lives… what I thought I would be doing in the Galactic Patrol by now…’’ Core would admit to her a bit sadly.

“And I will gladly have you over as a house guest Core. Thankfully my home is not listed anywhere as to its location. Instead I just say I live in South Capitol and keep up appearances by coming and going from an apartment there every few days. Sure it is a building ran by the Turtle School to house students and the fact I am there makes sense. So most do not even care nor notice my comings and goings.” Smiling at Core as she gave a bit of a description of her life. For some reason she felt very relaxed around this Arcosian. Which was definently out of the norm because for her she normally wound up fighting Arcosians more than speaking with them. Yet with Core and Defrosch she had found two different and yet similar Arcosians.
Waving at Core with one hand when he called her a genius and mentioned stealing the name that she had given him. A light chuckle would accompany the wave at Core. “Consider it another lesson there Core from a master. Really it kind of just hit me because you are a Galactic presence being an Arcosian and you do do that second part with ease compared to many of these fools. “ The smile on her face did not fade as she watched him as she spoke. To her it seemed as if he was all over the idea she had given him. This was something she had started to get better with was the whole moral support style of role. Especially after the loss in power she had sustained with her children’s birth.
Smirking at him as she reached over and patted the top of Core’s head. “Core I am used to being hunted. My uncle hunted me my entire life til I killed him. And you are forgetting that I have Toma and Amalia at my side. Toma is a Super Saiyan and Amalia is a capable fighter in her own right. Not to mention my sister and my step mother both live close by. Close enough to be there should the need arise.” Smiling at him as if she had been expecting something like this. To her it was something she had been expecting to come from someone else but Core was someone she never expected to have enemies.
Smirking at Core she knew that there was a good chance that her body would be able to retransform into her Super State as she had done it at her mother’s grave. Listening to why it was that he was doing what he was and why made her smile. “You are doing things for all the right reasons there Core. So I will gladly call you a pupil should anyone ever ask me about the Galactic Avenger. If anyone has an issue with you and tries to come after me… Well trust me on this. I will beat them up and send them straight to prison. Most of them will not even know what hit them.”

While the ancient turtle hermit and now Core’s mentor and friend was explaining how she was keeping where she lived a secret, Core would listen, tilting his head on the side kind of to express a little bit of confusion, though he was able to follow what she was saying, but he had another little problem with that. ‘’ Eh eh, I don’t see why you would have to hide yourself, I mean, you must be a really respected person aren’t you? I don’t see anyone without a reason trying to follow you, especially knowing that you are a master in martial art along many other things, that’s a bit of a warning to any who tries to harm you or invade your privacy like I heard media were good at…’’ Core would ask her with a bit of an amused voice, he just imagined someone trying to follow Ninjin to her house and then she went up flying.
The young Arcosian would giggle to himself as she called her giving him a name another lesson from his master, which was just about right, he knew he wasn’t far from the reality when he said to Ninjin that she still had plenty of things to teach to him, he always knew it, an ancient grand master like her had to have some sort of super wisdom of something similar. Though something would pop in Core’s mind when she spoke about Arcosians, he knew it might be just the moment to talk about something that has been bothering him for a long time. ‘’ Ninjin… I was thinking about this and… I’ve never seen a ‘bad’ Arcosian before… are they as common as everyone seems to say they are? Because I’m starting to doubt it…’’ He would kind of ask to Ninjin, a little concerned about his species’s reputation.
Core felt the pat on his head coming from his master and slowly started to make a weird purr-like sound, she had found one of his weakness for sure right now, even though the conversation was really serious right now, he couldn’t help but simply enjoy the patting on the head every time he was getting one. Getting a little back to seriousness, he would look up at her and smile, she had convinced him she would be okay. ‘’ I guess you’re right; I will have to rely on Toma for this! I can’t wait to meet him, he seems like a nice guy for you to procreate with him… if that’s how it works… people keep telling me that I’ll understand when I’m an adult when I ask question about this, really weird…’’ Core would admit to Ninjin with a bit of confusion, he always wondered why humans were so cryptic about it.
The young Arcosian child would smirk at Ninjin’s words, saying she would beat people up if they ever try to come for trouble to her because he is her pupil, he would then present his fist for a bump to Ninjin. ‘’ Yeah, let’s do just that, pretty sure if you help me once in a while, this planet will because clearer and much easier to live on for clear people and a living hell for criminal~’’ He would say with a cheerful voice before looking away a bit. ‘’ Hey Ninjin… do you think the Z-fighter could… you know… use someone like me? Because I think the Galactic Patrol just vanished… I don’t see any member around, or do I sense them… the ship is empty, I haven’t seen Beryl in month… so I guess that they… you know… abandoned…’’ The Arcosian would say in a rather sad voice.

“Core there is one large glaring reason I hide myself. There are many on Earth and elsewhere that would come after me for the point I am going to tell you.” Shifting her weight Ninjin glanced around the area. It was as if the information was really a need to know basis for the former Turtle Hermit. When she knew that there was no one standing there ready to pounce upon her when the words were spoken she inhaled and exhaled lightly.
“What I say is not to be known by anyone but those of the Zetto Senshi or those I choose to tell Core. But simplest way to say is that the Saiyan Queen is my cousin. Third cousin by marriage if I remember the family tree from Vegeta I looked up, but still close enough for me. And despite my own strength there are many that would want to slaughter any and all people connected even so paper thin like to Zucceta. So that is the real reason I am afraid of anyone following me. That and Toma’s family is two rather powerful people within it as well. His mother is one of the loyal generals of the Empire last I check and his sister is Kaula… So needless to say this can and more than likely will cause major issues in the future.” As she spoke she would begin pacing back and forth on the rooftop. Explaining everything as plainly as she had made her partially relieved that someone else would know this and yet she was now worried others would get the knowledge that was just divulged and use it for their own gains.
Once again she had found herself inside of a situation that befitted the fact she was a former teacher and yet compared to before this was something different. Lifting her head she looked at Core smiling at the Arcosian. His asking about the other Arcosians possibly being evil she sighed and nodded her expression changing a little serious. “There are sadly only a handful that I can safely say that I have met that are nice Core. There is you and Defrosch for certain. My old pupil Zexama swears to me that Wyntre an old friend of hers is a good Arcosian but other then those mentioned most I have met are egotistical and arrogant to a fault. To the point where one attacked me only because I am a saiyan hybrid. Obviously I won the fight but you are understanding what I am saying.” Shaking her head at Core’s words about procreating with Toma. His ideas about humans in general made her chuckle a little. Her and Toma were quite happy with their lives. “He is a good man. Strong headed and he does some things that I consider boneheaded but he never fails to be strong when he has to be. That and he is a good father for the kids.”
Reaching over with her fist she fistbumped Core smiling widely at him. His question about the Zetto made her blink and nod. “If you are sincere and wish to join the Zetto Senshi then you will need to speak with Maeve about it Core. She is the leader of the group but I would not see why we would not allow you inside of the group so long as your intentions are pure. That and so long as you are willing to fight for Earth no matter what. Above all other interests…”

The young Arcosian would sit back in the air, looking like an old monk meditating and levitating at the same time, though it was just more comfortable to listen to Ninjin’s explanation, there was apparently a reason she was hiding herself and quite honestly, Core was curious to know what could scare his mentor. When she said that the saiyan queen was her cousin, he nodded lightly, he was already aware of that and that would not change his vision of her, he knew Ninjin to be a good person, but when he heard the rest of the reason, he would sigh to himself, then looked back at Ninjin. ‘’ People say that the Saiyan Solar Empire are bad, but if you’re willing to cause a genocide to answer to their genocide… you’re not better than them. Not all saiyans are bad, and you can’t kill someone just because they’re related… if anyone tries to attempt to your life… know that I will always fight at your side if you call me… the same way I called you for training, and I’ll be there… I won’t let you get injured in the slightest… you’re my master and friend, you’re kind of like family!’’ He would say, smiling brightly at her, his kind of sharp teeth making it a rather weird smile.
Core was waving his tail around just before the answer on his species was delivered to him, he was really curious about this one and couldn’t wait to hear the answer, maybe it was a stereotype after all, maybe his species wasn’t all that bad, or at least he wanted to believe that with all his heart. Core watched Ninjin’s changing emotional face a she explained to him the very thing he was told, but with evidence and a rather… unforgettable adhesion. ‘’ W-wyntre-sama might be a good Arcosian? So… what they taught me at the lab was true, the fact that she made the empire a bit more peaceful, everything… I have to verify myself… anyway, I wouldn’t be in danger… I am probably the strongest Arcosian there Is since there is no information about the form I am currently in…’’ The young Arcosian would think out loud, not knowing that in fact, Wyntre was just as strong, if not a little stronger, than him but he wasn’t so far from truth, as he was in fact, the second stronger Arcosian.
The mood was back happier as Ninjin answered Core’s question about Toma, who seemed like someone Core would want to meet, for someone to be worthy of spending his life with Ninjin, he must just be one of the greatest person on Earth, just like Phae was the best mother and chose Celmaru as her husband and Core as her first child. Something though, caught Core’s attention. ‘’ Oh, he is a good father… what would be a bad father? Some that created his child to be fighters and locked them in a lab for five years, teaching them all things about the universe but were only able to play with his brother, and were planned to be sold to the local empire?’’ He would say with a bit of sadness in his voice, realizing that maybe he had lost something from his childhood that he wasn’t able to take back.
Shaking his head quickly, he looked at Ninjin. ‘’ I-I’m so sorry… I got carried away…’’ The young child would say, whipping… tears… from his cheeks lightly before hearing what she had to say about the Z-Fighters. ‘’ Maeve… the… dragon-looking girl? I guess I know where to find her then, that shouldn’t be too hard the, and I like the place, I was planning to take a visit there again, I’m sure there is plenty of stuff to see, it’s the guardian’s lookout after all!’’ He would say, his curiosity was obvious, and really childish, as he probably didn’t knew that everything that was to be discovered there was incredibly boring or unable for him to understand.

Noticing the way that Core was floating there Ninjin could not help but smile at the Arcosian child. To see someone so care free and yet thinking made her both happy yet sad. As to her the carefree attitude that he was showing was most certainly like that of her own children. A quick flash of her smiling childrens faces made her catch what Core was speaking a little clearer. The fact that Core had taken a shining to her as fast as he had was unusual for her. Yet it was not unwelcome as to her Core was acting much like a younger brother in the moment which she would gladly treat him as and help guide him as best she could. “Well Core consider yourself a pupil of mine for as long as you want. Though I cannot teach you the techniques of the Turtle School as that is the purview of the Turtle Hermit. The Hermit is in charge of that. So should you ever wish to learn the techniques I have then you will have to speak with her.”
With the question of Wyntre spoken back at her Ninjin nodded and then shrugged. “Well I am just speaking from the knowledge I have of the empress from Zexama. Zexama trusts her and so will I. Though I feel that she is off biding her time and awaiting the right moment to strike back against the Saiyan Empire. Though I have to tell you that when I first transformed I had to recall stories my mother told me about Saiyan heritage and yet I still did not know what to call my golden transformation til I got my hands on some saiyan legend books. I read the story of the Great King Bardock who they say was a ‘Super Saiyan’ and that is where I assumed the name came from.”
Glancing around she shrugged once more as she was seemingly trying to see if there was anything else going on around them. Listening to Core speak about his own childhood she could not help but feel sympathy for the Arcosian Child. “You at least got to meet yours… Even if they were uncaring or neglectful as yours was. I never got to meet my father as he died about two months before I was born. Everything I know about him is idealized views from my mother and Mimikku. But what you said is horrible as I would never even think about doing anything like that to either of my children… Sure threaten them with it when they get older but never actually do it… You know what I mean?”

As Core was lightly being a child around Ninjin, he would notice a bit of a change in Ninjin’s comportment, she suddenly seemed a bit emotional, which was curious to him but also quite interesting, maybe it was because he said that he was considering Ninjin like a part of his family that changed her, but Core really meant it, he considered a lot of people like family but Ninjin had a special place as a mentor and a good friend that nobody could take away from her, he didn’t understood really why she seemed doubting about her being his mentor. ‘’ Ninjin, I don’t mind not being able to learn the technique of the turtle school, what I want is your knowledge, your help, your guidance. I am still young, and I don’t know yet everything, plus I have no idea how to know when things go down, I need someone, I need help so I can protect this place at my best, that’s why I need a mentor…’’ Core would tell Ninjin, looking up at her with a wide smile. ‘’ I mean, without my first mentor… who knows what could have happened to me, what I would have become…’’
The question of the former empress Wyntre was really interesting to Core, he was raised to believe that she was a good person and that he would have to serve her one day, so he kind of hoped that she was a good person so that he could maybe talk with her, even maybe help her take back her empire and make the Arcosian shine again, not as the terrible empire of slavery and desolation, but as a race of strong people that fight for each other, and not only for themselves and to gather more power, in his deep inside, he hoped that she would have the same vision at him. As for the super saiyan form, Core would giggle a bit. ‘’ Well, it’s not like ‘super saiyan’ was that of a good name to begin with, I would have gone with Golden Warrior or something.’’ He would say, thinking to himself before getting out a couple other name. ‘’ Golden Saiyan… Super fighter… Royal Saiyan?’’ He would say, amusing himself by trying to find some name’s alternative for the super saiyan form, because well… someone had to find a new name that isn’t so stupid for that form.
Core listened as Ninjin spoke out her past to him, it was really tragic and quite down, but Core had to clarify something. ‘’ I don’t know my parents really… because I have none. I was cloned from the strongest youngling and grown warrior to be genetically superior to other Arcosian… that’s why I have such a high power level despite my age and easily achieved this form. But I’m really sorry for your father… since I was adopted… I kind of figured out how important family is and… I hope you found someone else to fill that hole… but you know what’s important?’’ Core would say as he got closer and hugged Ninjin lightly. ‘’ It’s that we live here, on Earth, were everyone is nice and the strongest of us want to protect this place, and as long as we work together, nothing bad is going to happen~’’

As Core spoke about not wanting to learn the techniques and instead was more interested inside of her mentoring and guiding hand she could not help but smile widely at that. She while retired had really only felt that many had pursued the Turtle School because of its heritage with Earth and what it meant to be a Turtle School member. Compared to its rival in the Crane School the Turtle School was more inclusive. Yet with that also meant more ease with which people just seemed to ask about techniques and abilities. “Mentors play a great role within ones life. Me and Amalia had the same mentor and things turned out quite well for the both of us it seems. Despite her not having use of her legs anymore she still has a fierce determination and fire that most would never know about.”
She chuckled alongside Core as he joked about the Super Saiyan name not being all that great. Nodding in agreement to him as she looked at him. “Aye it is not that great but it is the name that the ancestors inside of Saiyan culture came up with to describe the golden look. I will honor my ancestors by sticking with that name.”
Giving him a slightly sideways toothy grin at the admission as she then sighed glancing around the rooftop. The night air hanging around the pair as the sounds of the police below began to die down as it seemed that those beaten had been hauled off and the victim was being gathered into a car so that they would be interviewed inside of the precinct. “Exactly Core… The strongest are to protect those without. To protect the innocent and helpless is why I train as hard as I have to regain my form. Why it is that I pushed myself as hard as I have in every aspect of things. We will need every single able bodied person when the time comes. Every single one…”

The young Arcosian smiled as he heard her acknowledging the importance of having a good mentor to show you the good path, he knew that very well, knowing that maybe he’d have join the Saiyan Solar Empire if someone like Zucceta was the first person to have found him and, seeing how strong he was, would have recruited him, he simply would have associated her with good and the others with bad, he was too easy to influence back then, and point could be made that he was still just like that right now, though he was sure that he would do only good things. ‘’ I’m glad you know what I meant by mentor… because to be honest… without Beryl, I don’t know what I can do to help the people of Earth or protect them… sure I became the Galactic Avenger, but that is only against minor threat…’’ The young Arcosian would admit sadly to his actual mentor.
The young Arcosian would let out a chuckle when she agreed on the name being ridiculous, then looked at her and smile widely. ‘’ But if there is something beyond that… please… don’t call it like… Ultra Saiyan… or Super Saiyan two… that would be so lame…’’ Core would tell her, hoping that there wasn’t a legend about something stronger than super saiyan that also had to be call a lame name, not really knowing why he cared all that much about it to begin with, but it just seemed so lame to have such a bad name for a transformation that was basically asking to have an epic name to strike fear in the heart of your enemy, instead of bragging about your species being super or something stupid like that…
Listening closely Ninjin’s speech, a though would strike Core’s brain, something he had forgotten since he came to talk with Ninjin and just brought his moral down lightly. ‘’ Ah it’s right… I can’t join the Z-Fighter… Maeve just won’t let me because I’m too young… but… I guess if I sense many power level converging at the same place, including yours, I can always come and help without being a part of it… I don’t mind being in danger, I want to fight for my planet… or… maybe I could…’’ Core would think to himself as he putted back his cowl and turned his back to Ninjin, he then took at least a foot high and turned back to her. ‘’ What human age would you give me like that?’’ He would ask her curiously, though his voice was still the same as before, but it was modified by the modulator of the cowl to sound more intimidating. ‘’ You think she’d accept the Galactic Avenger?’’
