Name: Jean-Jacques LaCroix
Alias: He generally just introduces himself as "Jack"
Species: Human (He actually has Demon heritage, way on down the family line. This manifests as a genetic predisposition to albinism, unusual longevity, and odd bone-like growths protruding from the skin. (Though, this is more akin to a curse rather than actual genetics, as every child of this particular bloodline exhibits the same traits, albeit in different ways and levels of severity. Even his metaphorical third cousins from Lithuania.)

Jack is a rather tall (6 foot 5), long-limbed man sporting the pale skin, white hair, and distinctive light pink eyes indicative of albinism. Indeed, Jack is as albino as they come. Starting from the head and moving down, Jack's so-blonde-its-white hair is often either shaved completely or styled in various ways. He sports a very shallow widow's peak above a high, flat forehead and a sunken brow that melds in with it almost seamlessly. Just below, his pinkish eyes dart feverishly to and fro, seeking danger in every corner, and in between lies a prominent, straight nose with slightly upturned nostrils that flare when he is angry. He has a wide, thin-lipped mouth framed by a thick, angular jawline and a broad chin. Though he does indeed grow facial hair, it can be difficult to see against the snowy backdrop of his face. His teeth, while brushed regularly and not particularly crooked, are fearsome in that they are all sharp as knives, and not unlike miniature shark's teeth. They don't grow back, though. His neck leads down to broad, sloping shoulders that connect both long, spindly arms and tapered torso. He is remarkably thin, almost worryingly so, but is covered in lean, wiry muscle that leaves no doubt of his fitness, despite his ribs being clearly visible at his sides. His legs are as long and gangly as his arms, and make up quite a bit of his height. Interestingly, he sports rigid, bony protrusions atop many of his joints (In this case meaning his elbows, knees, and first knuckles.) that not only serve to protect these areas but add a dangerous, hard-edged element to his strikes beyond the norm. These horn-like protrusions must be filed down regularly, as they don't seem to stop growing.
Jack's fashion sense can come across as a bit odd to some, especially those suffering from maskaphobia. Indeed, with every outfit he insists on wearing some form of mask or facial covering, partly out of utility (His skin is sensitive to the sun) but mostly because he just really enjoys wearing them. He has a sizable collection of masks ranging from purely cosmetic, fragile ballroom affairs to rugged military gas masks, and is rarely caught wearing the same mask twice in a row. Otherwise, he dresses in cheap, comfortable casual clothing that have nothing really significant about them. (T-shirts, hoodies, jeans, that sort of thing.) For special occasions, he retains a small collection of formalwear including multiple subdued, solid-color ties and dark suits that contrast with his pale skin to a nice effect.
He carries himself with an air of brisk professionalism, as if every step was planned out in advance by a roomful of stuffy businessmen who had crunched the numbers and mapped out the absolute most efficient steps to take at any given moment, no movement is wasted. His aura takes on a very pale, pinkish color- almost white- with flecks of deeper red running through it occasionally. Jack's usual fighting stance has him with right fist raised up to eye height with palm turned slightly outwards away from the face, and left arm held low across the belly button, swinging back and forth like a scythe. His body leans back slightly and he keeps his feet shoulder width apart, left slightly in front of the right. (It is vaguely reminiscent of a traditional muay thai stance, fitting for his liberal use of his elbows and knees.)
Personality: Jack is a decent enough guy, if lacking in empathy and being a bit of a cold, bloodthirsty asshole. To be fair, he generally means well ("I broke your arms so that you will have to improve your kicks, and put up a better fight next time!") and didn't exactly have the most nurturing childhood. Not that he had the least nurturing childhood either, but all that lack of social interaction adds up. He has a very hard time connecting with people, and judges their worth entirely on how strong they are. He is obsessed with fighting, as he believes that he will only be truly happy when he is the absolute strongest fighter of all time. This fanaticism sometimes leads him to overtrain, putting himself out of commission for days or weeks while he curses himself for his body's weakness. Inevitably, to punish himself for his failure he trains even harder, thus continuing the cycle, and it is only through his extraordinary vitality and will of steel that his body hasn't yet broken down from the strain. In fact, he seems to even benefit from the overtraining somehow, growing ever stronger when he should be long since crippled. Jack speaks in a very polite, formal manner with a droning monotone voice that is only occasionally tinged with emotion and free of any identifiable accent. He has almost no sense of humor aside from the occasional snide remark, and tends to take any joke directed to him quite literally. (Though generally this is deliberate, as anyone trying to be funny will almost certainly annoy him from the get-go.)
Fighting Style: Jack's fighting style, (called Lutte) passed down from his father and presumably to him from his parents, is known for being brutal and efficient. The style is characterized by a mixture of overpowering offense and masterful dodging, though not much emphasis is placed on blocking. It utilizes his family's odd bony growths to great effect in crushing elbows and knee strikes that can easily cause serious internal damage if one isn't careful. Furthermore, there is an emphasis on doing whatever is necessary to win, up to and including straight-up cheating. The casual combatant may be surprised to find that a handful of sand in their eyes or a blow to the nether regions can come from such a disciplined style, and by the time they get used to the idea they are already on the ground. Though practitioners of Lutte are famous for their elbows and knees, they are by no means lacking in more conventional strikes, and their dodges are something to be seen; it is so subtle and minute that one might be forgiven for thinking they had not moved at all, to the attacker it may seem that their fists are moving out of Jack's way, rather than the other way around. However, Lutte does have its weaknesses. Firstly, though its stance is very dynamic and allows for a number of attacks or maneuvers at a variety of angles, its low guard is full of holes and blows to the body can often be a their downfall. Secondly, the style is not really designed with long-ranged energy attacks in mind, and in fact Jack is the first to attempt their use within the style, so they tend to be implemented a bit more clumsily, potentially inviting a counterattack while he prepares.
However, Jack has personalized this style for himself, sacrificing a bit of offense for added defense by keeping his off arm low to protect his body. On the upside, this unconventional guard allows for quick, lashing strikes with his long limbs that keep an enemy at range, whilst his elbows and knees await for those who manage to get in close. His left arm, though not suitable for powerful strikes in its usual position, is perfectly positioned to deliver whiplike, snapping jabs that come out so fast you can hardly see them. This makes him very hard to get in close to. Although, it becomes obvious when fighting him that he has very little experience in true combat,
History: The story of Jack's lineage is an epic one, passed from father to son for thousands of years. Since then, some of the details may have changed, but the core of the story remains true. It begins with a simple farmer and his family, working their land and living a normal, happy life.. when all of a sudden a ground-splitting impact shattered the peaceful quiet of the countryside and brought the valiant farmer to investigate. At the site of the impact, a strange machine lay glowing in a crater. As the farmer drew closer to the fallen object, a door appeared in its smooth surface and out came an alien invader! The farmer, being a man of honor, attempted to communicate with the alien, but it quickly became clear that peaceful coexistence was not this invader's aim. Indeed, the alien attacked the farmer! It is said that their battle lasted three days and nights, until the alien's inhuman stamina began to win out and the farmer was killed when his own ultimate attack was deflected back at him. As the farmer was sent to his final resting place, his two sons took an oath to protect the earth from any aliens who dared to cross their path, and rushed off to avenge their venerable father. They did find the alien that had attacked their home, and came down upon him like the righteous hammer of justice, but they were both soundly beaten. In fact, the oldest brother was killed with ease. The younger brother survived and was able to escape, but lost all hope of avenging their father. It was then when a vile and yet strangely beautiful demon appeared to the surviving brother! She said that she could feel his grief, and promised to grant him one wish in exchange for his soul. Entranced by her beauty, the brother wished only that she would marry him. This was not how that was supposed to go, but bound by demonic law to grant his wish, she assented and they were married. Eventually after many months of traveling, they settled down on his family's farm to honor his father's memory by working their ancestral land and living a happy, peaceful life. And they did, except for that time when everyone died. But that's not important.
However, none of that is relevant to Jack. He was born in a martial arts school to a strict-but-fair father, the master of the school, and a mother who died in childbirth. Grieved by his wife's death and by the fact that his only child would definitely be his heir and thus had no choice but to be the very best like no-one ever was, Jack's father dropped the 'fair' part from his personality, and trained his son in only the most grueling, dangerous exercises from the day he turned thirteen. Everything before then had been focused jointly on academic mastery, as well as physical mastery. Keeping your child illiterate so that they can punch things better is generally frowned upon in the parenting community, after all. Even so, the father loved his son and maintained to the very end that he was only making Jack carry 100 cinderblocks on his back up a mountain every day because he wanted Jack to be the best. And, to be fair, Jack did become the best in the school. Easily. Even though he had to spar with huge padded gloves so that he didn't kill the other students. As the years passed, it quickly became apparent that the confines of his father's school no longer contained strong enough opponents to challenge Jack, he had surpassed even his own father by that point. Ever eager to face new challengers, when Jack's father informed him of a low-level, regional tournament being held in the nearby town, he jumped at the chance to see new and exotic fighting styles and crush them under heel. So it was that Jack packed up his few belongings and set off on his journey..

Techniques: (Note: I apologize if I have misinterpreted how techniques work or done something wrong, I admit I didn't inspect the rules on that matter nearly as closely as I might have, and may have missed something.)
Offensive
[N1] Blitzkrieg Beatdown: The ultimate technique passed down from father to son in Jack's family for at least one generation (as far as he knows) and quite a powerful move, at least for one that is simply a series of mundane strikes with no energy attack component whatsoever. To utilize this ability, one must channel all of their aggression, all of their hate and rage and focus it into one blob of amorphous metaphorical violence and harness these emotions to unleash a vicious series of punches and kicks at full power, with no regard for the health of either the user or the recipient. However, since this technique focuses solely on offense, it leaves one extremely vulnerable to a counterattack. Interestingly, this technique actually becomes less effective the more angry or upset that the user is, since it requires a great amount of focus and emotional control. It is not some blind berserk rage, this technique is the harnessing of aggression in its purest, most potent form. When under the influence of the dark trance that fuels this ability, Jack's normally pale eyes burn a piercing crimson, even lighting up in the dark. Even with all that, this technique is incomplete, a masterpiece left unfinished because nobody has yet had the skill to do so. Perhaps Jack will be the one to finally unlock its potential.
[N1] Mouth Beam: A simple beam of energy (about leg-thick uncharged) fired from the mouth, and has the useful ability of being able to be used even when the user is otherwise completely immobile. As long as their mouth is uncovered and they have the strength to do so, a user of the mouth beam can fire away at any time. The only hint that a mouth beam is about to be unleashed is that the user inhales a big breath before firing.
