It was a rather nice evening in West Capitol, a city that Core didn’t went too many times, in fact, the young Arcosian child never went in this city before, and he was happily surprised to see that it was nothing like south capitol were weird men and women were walking around with weapons and a lot of illegal things were happening without the police doing anything since there was just too many to keep count, but this city was really different, it was all in order, the police looked strong and efficient, Core even noticed one or two that were actually ki-manipulator, which was a great sign of progress compared to most police force of Earth, which Core doubt would be any help of a real threat would come by but that wasn’t really important, in all the time Core was on Earth, nothing major happened and he kind of didn’t saw something happening now.
The young Arcosian was walking around the city like the tourist he was, he really knew nothing about this place and simply wanted to map the place and maybe find the places were interesting things could be seen or heard of, as he knew that there was a branch of the café shop he was used to at Satan city in most of the big cities of this planet, maybe he could pass by and say hello, why not after all, he was known by the whole brand as a good sign, as when he is in the café, nothing really bad could happen that he wouldn’t be able to take care of, they even asked him to take a few pictures for a commercial, which he was still thinking about, he’d have to know a bit more about it before accepting.
When walking in a park, Core would be noticed by a bunch of teenagers that would run to him, which would make him uncomfortable, they would bend to look at him, they all looked happy. Suddenly, one of them started to talk. ‘’ Wow! You’re one of those Alien from planet Arcose? You look sick bro! Can we take a picture with you?’’ The young human teenager would say as Core nodded lightly. ‘’ Y-yeah… I don’t see why not…’’ He would answer shyly, being so suddenly surrounded by tall people was unsettling for him but they meant no harm at all and he knew it, they took one of those ‘selfie’ as they called it and then went away, Core could only hear a bit of what they said. ‘’ I told you they were chill man, he was just a child anyway!’’ The one on the right would say.
Core, a bit out of balance from this sudden event, would go back on this track of visiting the city, though this encounter would make him a bit weird, since he wasn’t use of people being so welcoming to him, it was refreshing to him but also made him a bit confused, were people in this city used to see people like him? The question was short cut as Core saw in the distance a group of person all looking at a building on fire, which instantly took Core’s full attention as he rushed toward the group of people to see if he could help, that would maybe be his first heroic action as a member of the Galactic Patrol, the Arcosian quickly got on the scene and looked for the people in charge, trying to eardrop some important information that would help him help in this crisis.
As Core listened closely, he would hear something that would alert him instantly. ‘’ There was a research lab on new weapons on the basement, if the fire reach there, the whole city could be leveled!’’ A policeman would say to his radio would tell him to calm down and not evacuate the city. Instantly, Core would take the matters in his own hands, he rushed inside the building and crushed the ground beneath him in a place he felt like wasn’t supportive, he would rush downward and looked for the weaponry at high speed all around the place. When he entered a room with a door that needed a code, which he simply broke to open, Core would notice a box with a notice on it written ‘caution, highly explosive content’. Core would look at the box, then back, there was too much fire to get this thing out by a normal way, there was only solution.
Core would concentrate his ki into his eyes and used his plasma-vision to create a tunnel in the ground, he had to get the explosive out as soon as possible, he would create a tunnel far enough so the fire would be no arm, then took the box there, he would then look up and create an exit for himself, making sure with his ki-sensing that no one was standing in that exact spot. When the young Arcosian emerged from a hole in the ground, he would push the highly-explosive content out and then would breath out. ‘’ Few! I did it!’’ Before realizing he was in the middle of a building and policemen were pointing their guns at him, one of them speaking in his teller. ‘’ We got a terrorist attack at the Blue Banner Army’s Office of public security, I repeat, terrorist attack at the Office of public security, call the BBA right now, it’s an alien!’’ The man would tell out as they all held him at gunpoint. ‘’ Do not do anything stupid young boy or we’ll shoot! Those aren’t usual bullet, they can take down ki-user like you!’’ They would yell as Core looked around in a bit of a panic and lifted his arm up. ‘’ W-what is going on?’’ He would ask himself, having no idea why everyone seemed to be so upset that he saved this building and the whole city from exploding.
