The day had finally came, the day that a certain hybrid would face an utterly despicable Human. The hybrid's hands were promptly shoved within his jean's pockets, his expression almost representing dread. Three other participants had the potential to walk beside him, however he wouldn't speak with them until everything began. The sakura petals descended lightly upon the cobblestone pathway, as such a wide pathway it was...it was truly encased in a thin layer of petals. Beside the hybrid, his partner and wife, the seaweed woman Phae Waterfield poked at her husband's arm, simply in hopes of gently grasping a single hand. The hybrid husband Celmaru Waterfield, shifted his gaze towards his wife, forming a weak grin as he removed his hand from his pocket, gently intertwining his fingers with her own. A slight commotion was audible near the end of the pathway, speakers and a thin crowd forming. Practicing his Telepathy, Celmaru spoke with those that were to participate in this event; Walker, Daika, and Core Stold...his adoptive son. ' ...Are you three ready for this?...The Ekam Family aren't full of pushovers. Daika, I'm unsure if you can sense Ki as of now, however you'll certainly have something to sense here....Liam is above my own level, from what I can tell....yet he's below Walker. The one who could be Core's opponent....he's around two-hundred thousand, as well....just above Core's level before he decided to stay within his Final Form permanently. The others....have a high possibility of being above you, Daika...please be wary of this.' ' Celmaru...please relax, we'll all do fine.' ' And if Core has to face Liam?...What will become of him then?...Or rather, possibly even Daika....he'd be massacred on that arena.' ' Everyone will be fine~' The telepathic link between husband and wife was separate, and mostly private. Regardless, the cobbled pathway ceased to exist as the arena began; a oddly rounded clearing within the cherry blossoms was visible before every warrior, with a pleasant view of the massive river nearby. As the hybrid approached the station to sign in, an impossibly lanky official stood behind the table, his face gaunt and sickly. " Hello, you must be that hybrid, correct?" " ....I am." Celmaru's tone was tense, yet partially monotone. The official scribbled upon the sign-up sheet, writing down the hybrid's name....incorrectly. The hybrid merely blinked at the sight before him; "Cenmaru Wuterfeeld - WF Participant #1". Phae shook her head silently, disappointed. The official stared at the seaweed woman, unsure of what to make of her. Within a moment's pause, he addressed her. " Are you participating as well?" " Ah, I am, yes!" " Name?" " Phae Waterfield." " Mmm..." The seemingly unhealthy man wrote down her name promptly....spelling her name correctly, unlike her husband's. Phae was labelled as "WF Participant #2". The couple moved aside, awaiting their representatives to sign in alongside them. Unfortunately, a living issue appeared immediately upon their arrival...however it wasn't Liam. A hulking, rather bright-haired individual appeared before them, grinning in a seemingly warm fashion; that impression didn't last long. The bulky Human man waved to the five participants, speaking suddenly and candidly. " Heyo bros!...Oh hey, you decided to show up! What a dumbass, huh? Hey bros! Celnaru showed up to get his ass kicked!" " Fuckin' seriously? That dipshit's dumber than B-mud's ass!" " ....Hello, Rewop." Another individual revealed himself, bearing an unnatural assortment of tattoos and piercings. Somehow, most of the tattoos were hidden beneath his clothing, however his piercings were visible....too visible. The rather dark and artificial Human stood at a lesser height than his brother, however he held a greater air of authority, despite his language. Rewop's elder brother Nis Ekam, along with Rewop himself, began to laugh obnoxiously at the hybrid as Nis subconsciously thrust his pelvis at the air twice, further making him out to be a rather.... sinful individual. " .....Nis, you don't need to laugh....no one has fought yet." Nis' laughter began to fade, ever so slowly, as the two were seen in plain sight; anyone outside their respective families would never believe that these two were brothers. One stood at 5' 6", at a rather thin bodily build, whilst the other stood well over six feet in stature, with an well-toned muscular build to boot. Nis held white, gray, and black strands of hair atop his cranium, however it wasn't via stress. Rewop, however, held rather bold orange locks, a drastic difference between him and his sibling. The two took a brisk stride away as their chuckles and giggles faded. Celmaru rolled his eyes at the sight of them, his spine correcting itself as he stood upright. " Such wastes of space...." " They should truly learn what Ki is....they don't have but a clue about it..." " They don't need anything else that they could use against others, Phae. The Ekam Family can stay where it is." Other members from the Ekam family stood beside the arena, along the right side. A mere four members stood along the left side; the remainder of the Waterfield family. Celia, Toma "Mato", Codban, and Celia's own sibling Maru Waterfield rested alongside the nearby pony wall, folding their arms and awaiting the beginning of the one-sided tournament. Celia turned her head for a mere second, then away, then back again in realization upon her son's appearance. The middle-aged woman, appearing to be within her twenties thanks to Ayumu, partially skipped towards her son in glee, her facial expression brightening as she beheld the sight of her only child. " Celmaru~!" " ...Er...Hello, Mother." " How are you and Phae doing?...Are you all well fed? Are you hungry now?" " Mother, we're-" " Oh! Excuse me, I didn't notice your friends there!" " Mother-!" It was already too late, Celia had already shifted her attention over towards Walker, Daika, and even Core. Suddenly grasping Walker's hand, the hybrid's Mother shook the wooden limb forcefully, yet excitedly....as she's never seen a sentient tree before. Mato, on the other hand, huffed softly, the memories of spending so much time on his son's mentor's "spaceship" recovering from a Saiyan beatdown on Vegeta. " Hello, hello! I'm Celia, Celmaru's mother, how are you? I hope my son wasn't too much trouble for you, as I'm sure he's been busy ever since my Mato came back~!" If the tree-man were to reply, she would simply await until he concluded. Afterward, Celia would have already stepped towards Daika, forcefully clasping her hand around his and shaking it just as forcefully as she did to Walker's. The same greeting was used upon the Saiyan warrior, and the hybrid sighed as he slapped his forehead with his right palm. However, Celia's attention suddenly became fixated upon Core, whom of which his somewhat childish appearance captivated her...albeit not as much as it would for Phae. " D'aaaawwww~, you look so cute! Are you gonna fight in the tournament? Are you?" " Mother! Core is as powerful as the rest of us, please don't treat him like a defenseless child." " Alright, fine~" " ....I doubt she's going to speak any differently to him." Regardless of the hybrid's Mother, another newfound figure stood beside Mato; Maru Waterfield. Standing at the exact same height as the hybrid himself, 5' 11", the only other remaining Waterfield warrior stood beside his Saiyan brother-in-law, a rather discontent expression upon his facial features. With light brown hair, and oddly warm blue eyes, the Human warrior took notice of his nephew, waving stiffly towards him....without shifting his gaze. Celmaru approached his uncle, greeting him politely. " Its been quite a while, hasn't it Maru? Its nice to see you again." " Hey squirt, you look rather uncomfortable today." " Mainly because of these Ekam bastards, more or less." " Hah! Classic Waterfield attitude you got there, why don't you share with your grandfather?" " He doesn't want anything to do with me, if I recall correctly." " Eh, Father's always been a bit prudish, hasn't he, heheh..." The hybrid grinned, rather smirked towards his uncle, relieved to see a warm welcome. However, Maru took notice of the seaweed woman beside his nephew, wondering who she was. The Human placed his hands upon his hips, quizzically staring at Phae. " Well well, who might this young miss be?" " My name is Phae Waterfield, its been at least two decades since I've last seen you, Maru." " Huh? You've met me before?" " Ah, its a long story..." " I can listen." " Maru, sir, now isn't the best time for it...we can explain afterwards....possibly during a recess time between the major rounds." " Alright, alright, if you say so." The middle-aged man guided his hands towards his face in playful surrender, which made the hybrid smile somewhat. Maru was a rather accepting Human, akin to Celia. However, their father wasn't partial to anything he wasn't aware of, especially when it came to non-Humans; Bio-Androids, Saiyans, Hybrids, Arcosians, etc. The elder huffed, averting his gaze from his "failure" grandson. A disgruntled expression overcame his facial features, his figure leaning upon the cane he depended on. The sparse Waterfield members rested beneath a rather giant cherry blossom tree, its shade encompassing their respective side of the arena. However, the evening light still invaded their gazes, regardless of such a massive tree. The hybrid faced his wife, shifting his gaze to face his comrades shortly after. " Alright...we'll see who will be fighting first."

Daika had been eagerly waiting for the tournament to begin. Ever since his hybrid teacher invited him to take part, he simply could not stop thinking about it. He hoped that his match would be one of the first, as he wanted to get into the action right away. He was a Saiyan, after all. However, he was also interested in watching the others fight. He had not seen individuals such as Walker and the members of the Ekam’s family in battle before, and he was hoping that he would be able to see how powerful and skilled they were.
His eagerness had led him to arriving at the tournament well before Celmaru, as such he found himself waiting alone without anyone to talk or interact with. Not like he minded that, anyway. However, as he sensed the other representatives of the Waterfield family begin to arrive, he started to make his way to the sign up station. As he approached, he saw Celmaru and Phae had both arrived. He smiled as the hybrid opened up a telepathic channel, speaking to him, Walker and… Core? He was not aware that the hybrid knew the Arcosian, whom he had met back when he had first landed on Earth. Heh, it’s just like some kind of family reunion, except with less family and more friends.
Celmaru seemed to be somewhat worried for the Saiyan, at this he could merely chuckle. “I can indeed sense power levels, Celmaru. Though I might be a Saiyan, I am not as ignorant as one. It’s very good that there is going to be a full moon, is it not?” He smirked, moving one of his hands up to the pair of Blutz Bans that he frequently wore. He would not use his Oozaru form in this tournament unless he absolutely had to, he had promised himself that. However, anything could happen. Tensions were high, as Liam Ekam, Celmaru’s mortal enemy was also going to be here, and he could set the hybrid off. He knew that extreme anger could empower one with Saiyan blood, pushing their own strength well past their normal limits. All he hoped is that no-one has going to accidentally get killed, as that would be a catastrophe.
He approached the sign-up table, the official behind it looking quiet bored as he stared at the strange Saiyan.
“Are you participating in this tournament?”
Slightly annoyed, the Saiyan replied. “Of course I am; why else would I be here?”
“Name?”
Crossing his arms in front of him, he told the official his first name, and his first name only. “It is Daika, although in this tournament I shall be a representative of the Waterfield Family.”
“Thank you. Please, stand over there with the rest of the participants.”
He silently nodded, and made his way over to where Celmaru, Phae and the others were standing. As soon as he approached, however, he saw that a woman, presumably Celmaru’s mother was speaking to him. Seeing this, he started to back away to give the mother and son some time alone, however after shaking Walkers hand, she quickly stepped forwards to grasp his own hand, shaking it rather forcefully. She introduced herself as Celia, who was indeed Celmaru’s mother. She then followed up with a general greeting, asking how he was and saying that she hoped the hybrid himself wasn’t much trouble for him. Smiling, he replied in a positive tone. “Greetings! I am Daika, Celmaru’s student. I am very good thank you, and no, your son has not been too much trouble. Although I will say congratulations on raising such a skilled warrior.” He stood a bit further back than the others, as he was still pretty new to Earth, and he didn't really know any of these people, apart from Celmaru and Phae.
He watched on as an older man approached the hybrid, greeting him. However, he was in fact thinking about other things. He had sensed the power levels of the two Ekam’s who arrived earlier, and they were both above his own. If he had to fight either of them, he would have to transform to even the playing field. He had only recently learned to control himself as that mighty beast, and he was unsure if anything such as extreme anger or rage could make him temporarily lose control. He waved those thoughts away.
He took stock of his surroundings. There would be quite a crowd watching, if all the people about were going to be spectators. Better try to give them some good fights, that is what they are here for, after all. Slightly impatient, the Saiyan looked about, trying to find someone or something that could tell or show him who would be fighting first. He hoped that he would be, but in the end it didn’t really matter. They would all get their chance to fight.

It was surprisingly busy for what appeared to be a family tournament. The two families were apparently quite large, if the small crowd was any indication. Still, there didn't appear to be any huge threats, aside from the mind-numbing arrogance a few of Celmaru's relatives were displaying at the moment. This "Nis" and "Rewop" duo appeared to have been tossed through a few dozen rounds of "Who can appear the most edgy." Sighing, Walker turned to the man, who was now observing the moving tree with curiosity.
"Signing up? What's your name?" He paused, and then stared at his pen, which had just removed itself from his grip. The writing utensil began scribbling on the page, altering the writing of Celmaru's name. In a moment, it was spelled correctly, and the utensil then scrawled out "Walker" in quick, neat letters. The animus gone, it fell onto the clipboard, Walker still standing there rock still. His eyes bored into the infirm man's, and he spoke quietly, glancing over at his friend, a young woman currently running toward him. "If I see any more of that, I will be correcting the problem."
Moving over to join the group, he nodded and shook the hand of the young woman. This was Celmaru's mother? That was... odd, but he supposed it was likely magic of some kind. "Your son has been quite incredible in his growth. I am quite proud to have taught him, he has impressed me quite soundly." He was sure he could hear some stifled, disbelieving scoffs from nearby relatives, but he continued regardless. "I imagine this day will do wonders to showcase what he has achieved." After all, a master of the Super Saiyan form was nothing to be trifled with, even at his level. He would have to be careful not to lose his grip, however. Transforming here would be a waste, and then everyone would be aware of what he achieved. Including his enemies.
Sitting down cross-legged, he folded his hands in his lap and looked about. "Well, Celmaru, you have... interesting relatives. I hope that this goes smoothly. I have... grievances with some of them." It was quite hard for the tree not to just smash some of these arrogant saps into the dirt.

[ Thread’s pl: 209,542 x12p: 2,514,504 ]
The young Core, not expecting at all what was about to go down near him, was simply bathing in a lake near the house Celmaru, Phae and him were living since a bit, the young Arcosian wasn’t really washing himself, he was just enjoying the water and warming it up so that if anyone would join him, it would be much more like a spa than a normal lake, which would amuse him; in this new form, he was able to discharge much more energy, an incredible amount of strength was inside of him, there was no doubt to that, he had become much stronger than he ever was. Core had his eyes closed, relaxing in this now hot lake, much like a hot spring, he was listening to life around him, his new home, his new domain, everything here was just so nice to be around, and in the distance, he could hear a lot of noise coming from the tournament ground, which would awake his curiosity a bit, but he decided not to go investigate, after all, most of his family wouldn’t accept him.
Then came Celmaru’s message, Core heard it perfectly as he was already in a state close to meditation, the message came in his head, Core listened to it and smirk as his aura would began to shine around him as he slowly hovered above the lake. ‘’ Oh hell yeah I’m ready! Wait for me father, it is time for me to show you just how strong I really am!’’ Core would say as he unsuppressed all of his power, making it clear for anyone with ki-sensing just how much he had grown in power. In a couple of seconds, he was on the tournament ground, though he’d laugh a bit on a detail from his adoptive father. [Daddy, I told you, don’t call it final form, I’m certain I’ll have other form stronger than this one~] Core would think, knowing his dad or probably his mother could have heard his though.
When Core arrived near the inscription area, there was already a couple of person that had registred so he quickly went up the line and looked at the lanky official that had taken the name Celmaru. ‘’’ Uh, what are you weird lizard?’’ The man would ask as Core smiled up at the man. ‘’ I am Celmaru’s adoptive son, and uh… allow me to just…’’ The young Arcosian would say first, looking at the sheet to see if Liam's name was on there, he smirked widely seeing it ‘’ Also, my name is Core Stold Waterfield, I’m participating.’’ Core would say with a wide smile as the man wrote Core’s name. ‘’ C-o-r-e S-t-o-l-d Right?’’ The man would ask in a bit of a bored lazyness, and then Core nodded. ‘’Exactly, thank you good sir…’’ The Arcosian would simply take his ticket and walk away from the man, who was already taking someone else's name without a care to return Core's polite goodbye.
The young Arcosian would then use his ki-sensing and found his adoptive family in Celmaru and Phae, he would then fly over to them and blushed a bit. ‘’ H-hi… sorry if I look a bit different… you know… things happened…’’ Core would tell them with a light shy smile, waiting to see if both of them would react correctly to his new form. His arrival would be quickly interrupted by the arrival of another woman, rather young-looking who ran toward Celmaru telling his name, which would make Core smile. [ There is good people in this family after all uh~?] Core would think and took the time to look around to see the rest of the team, of course he would notice Daika, which he had met once before and was apparently in the register for the Galactic Patrol, he nodded to him gently and looked around to see Walker, which would totally confuse Core as he was looking like a tree, but also had a humanoid form, he was totally confused by this being, but question would be for later.
The young Arcosian would be then surprised by the woman actually turning to him and acting all nice to him, which would make him blush as he understood he was standing in front of his grandmother. ‘’ G-grandmother…? I am Core Stold! Happy to meet you!’’ Core would say with his usual childish voice as he went to hug his grandmother gently. ‘’ Thanks for accepting me in the family as well~’’ He would tell her within his embrace, a soft, polite yet childish voice that was really the mark of the Arcosian, he would then pull back from the hug and giggled a bit to himself, he was going to enjoy this family, but he wished that his brothers were there, they were the only thing that were missing to him.
The conversation between all of the Waterfield family was going on rather well, and Core wasn’t really trying to keep up, instead, he stayed pretty close to his ‘A’ team, meaning he was next to Celmaru and Phae, but also on the side of Daika and Walker, which didn’t seemed to have much attention to them. The young Arcosian would figure he could ask something to the sentient tree, after all, it wouldn’t be that bad right, he wasn’t going to be rude to him anyway. The young Arcosian would slowly hover to the being and poked his hand, looking up at him. ‘’ U-uh… hi mister… I’m Core Stold… Celmaru’s adopted son… I’m really curious as to… if you don’t mind me asking… what are you? You really look awesome’’ Core would tell the sentien tree with a bit of a smile.
When his adoptive father asked who would be fighting first, Core would shiver lightly on expectation, he didn't knew his opponent, he just knew he was around two hundred thousand power level, which was really nothing to him, but he'd supress his power level in order to give the crowd what they were looking good, a nice looking fight, a spectacle, but of course the young Arcosian wouldn't allow himself to lose, he had a promise with his grandfather to keep, if he was to beat the family's strongest warrior, excluding of course Celmaru, he would be forced to accept him in the family, along with his own sibblings, which Core would have to talk about to Celmaru, as he was thinking more and more that one of them was close to him, close to Earth.

Celmaru was relieved that Daika was able to sense Ki, simply that he wouldn't have to give him another scouter. The hybrid's father only had so many scouters, but that was beside the point. The hybrid's adoptive arcosian son Core Stold had arrived mere moments earlier, facing the embrace of his Father's Mother immediately. The hybrid's lips curled into a rather brief grin, awaiting his Mother's reaction to his adoptive grandson. The hybrid, in the meantime, silently greeted Daika with a brief wave, alongside Phae. As Walker appeared shortly after, the hybrid spoke to him briefly, noting his Mother's....habits. " Hello once again, Walker...still alive I see! Oh, er....yes....my relatives are a bit....strange. My Mother is one of the nicer ones, so please refrain from harming her...my Father....you two have met before. My grandfather is rather prudish and...er...potentially xenophobic...however my uncle, Maru, is rather similar to my Mother, I do hope you don't harm him, either." These "grievances" between his relatives made the hybrid's expression jerk slightly, a single thought within his mind running amok immediately. Celmaru's grasp upon his wife's hand had intensified as he spoke once more. " ....Phae told you, didn't she? She told you about what Liam did, I assume? I realize that she could speak with you whenever she liked, however I didn't have any desire for her to inform you of this." " Celmaru, Walker can assist-" " Liam can die by my hand for all I care, Walker can intervene if I'm dying from Liam's means." For once, the hybrid's Saiyan pride had affected his judgement, however for this matter only. After years of withstanding his torment, the hybrid knew that he had enough power to finally cease Liam's reign of terror upon him and his family. Meanwhile, Celia, upon hearing the young changeling speak, froze as she heard the term "grandmother". Her strange coddling ceased, and she placed her palms upon the arcosian in shock for a moment, shifting her gaze to meet her own child's. " Eh?....Spirit....and...hybrid...equals...arcosian?" " Mother, er...he's adopted, nothing strange occurred in your absence." " You have a kid?" " Core is adopted, Maru." " THE HELL!?" " Father, don't you dare!" " You adopted an arcosian!? Celmaru, c'mon now, you know the Saiyans are enemies with those space lizards!" " Core won't fight you without a reason, Father!" " What? Oh, the Core or whatever is here....lovely." " Grandfather, please don't intrude now." " Like you're in a position to say anything to me." " Huh?" " Mother, Core is your adoptive grandson, same goes to you, Father. As of now you're both officially grandparents!" Celmaru's facial features were stained with a beet red, the knowledge of two other children hidden away from his parents. The situation had gone from a light ten to one-sixty unrealistically quickly, simply from Core revealing his relations with the hybrid. The evening light didn't assist the hybrid in hiding his embarrassed expression, however he decided to answer his adoptive son's surprisingly meek remark. Within the meantime, Celia went back to coddling Core once more, this time with more clarity. ' I feel so old...but I feel so ecstatic! Why do children have such a double-edged quality to them!?' " Er...anyway, Core, its rather impressive how much you've grown! Surely you've attained another form in the meantime that we've been gone...I hope to see your growth once you fight!" " I'm still bothered by this." " Father, please learn to live with it. Unless you'd like to live with Walker again-" " Fine, fine!" ' I apologize for my Father's behavior, Core....he'll get used to it....as he did once I surpassed him.' " ....." " Pffffft...man, Celmaru, your life has changed since you've been born." " I was an infant the last time you saw me, if I recall." " I figured that it would change, but not this much! Hahaha!" " Well...heh..." The hybrid couldn't truly explain the impossible events that have transpired within the last few months; from becoming a husband and expecting father to reaching immense heights in power, the hybrid couldn't possibly find the correct terms to explain...it was a minor conundrum. However, the murmurs of the Ekam crowd before the Waterfield family began to die down, their gazes shifting to meet another Human's. Codban finally decided to speak, however this instance of his speech was rather rude, as usual with formal events...specifically when he spoke to family members. " Would you all be silent? They're about to start." ' Mother, please acknowledge what my comrades have told you once they finish...both Daika and Walker did have the courtesy to reply to you, after all.' ' Okay Head-Celmaru~' ' .....' The hybrid rolled his eyes once more as the official from before, now completing his look with black shades, stepped onto the arena. With a microphone in hand, the official, now announcer, spoke aloud cheerfully. " HELLOOOOO EVERYONE! WELCOME TO THE 17TH FAMILY TOURNAMENT, FEATURING THE EKAM FAMILY..." The larger crowd, including the Ekam family themselves, clapped seemingly in a joyous manner. The announcer continued as they ceased to clap. " ....AND THE WATERFIELD FAMILY!" Silence followed. The awkward pause lasted for several moments before the official continued his speech. " NOW! USING THE LIST OF REGISTERED FIGHTERS, WE'VE RANDOMLY GENERATED THE BRACKETS! HERE ARE THE LISTINGS!...." The official was handed a clipboard, with each name written in sloppy kanji. Several Ekam members sat at the edge of their seats in anticipation, however Liam was nowhere to be seen. The hybrid began to make note of each Ki signature, each representing the insane individuals that the Ekam family held within their manor. Liam wasn't among them...he was hiding behind a tree. The announcer continued, however, reading off the names of each warrior in their respective positions within their brackets. " IN THE FIRST ROUND, WE HAVE DAIKA OF THE WATERFIELD FAMILY, VERSUS EFIRTS, OF THE EKAM FAMILY! HOWEVER, DAIKA APPEARS TO BE A MERE REPRESENTATIVE! WILL HE DO THE WATERFIELD FAMILY WELL IN HIS SERVICE?! ONLY TIME WILL TELL FOLKS! IN THE SECOND ROUND, WE HAVE CORE STOLD OF THE WATERFIELD FAMILY, VERSUS EVIAN EKAM! THESE TWO PINT-SIZED WARRIORS APPEAR TO BE REALLY POWERFUL FOR THEIR AGE, WILL THEY BE ABLE TO FACE OFF AGAINST THE ADULTS?" The announcer cleared his throat before going on, several murmurs cropping up within the elders and participating warriors alike. The hybrid smirked towards Daika, silently congratulating him for being placed in the first round. Shifting his gaze towards his adoptive son, moments later, the hybrid patted the bio-gem atop his head, reassuring him that he'll do fine. The other Waterfield family members stared onward as other names were listed. " AFTER EFIRTS AND EVIAN, WE HAVE CELMARU WATERFIELD; THE ONE AND ONLY HYBRID WARRIOR, VERSUS THE VICTOR OF THE FIRST ROUND! WHO WILL HE FACE, WE CAN ONLY GUESS FOR NOW! IN THE FOURTH ROUND, WE'LL HAVE PHAE WATERFIELD VERSUS NIS EKAM! THE WARRIOR ADORNED WITH PIERCINGS AND TATTOOS AGAINST THE HYBRID'S WIFE...WE SHALL KNOW OF THE VICTOR SOON ENOUGH!" ' Hopefully you can stand staring at his face for a few more minutes than everyone else.' ' I'll be perfectly fine~' " AFTER THE HYBRID AND HIS WIFE, WE'LL HAVE NOISSERPED EKAM VERSUS THE VICTOR OF THE SECOND ROUND! HIS OPPONENT WILL SURELY BE STRONGER THAN THE LOSER!" ' That's really fucking obvious, you dumbass.' " IN THE FOURTH ROUND, WALKER, THE MYSTERIOUS TREE-MAN, WILL BE FACING OFF AGAINST REWOP EKAM, THE GINGER STRONG-MAN! BETWEEN THE SECOND AND THIRD, FIFTH AND SIXTH, AND FINALLY THE EIGHTH AND NINTH ROUNDS, THERE WILL BE A RECESS TIME ALLOCATED FOR THE FIGHTER'S REST, RECREATIONAL, OR SUSTENANCE TIME! NO POISON, FOUL PLAY, MURDER, STRIKES BELOW THE BELT, NOR ANY UNNATURAL STRENGTH ENHANCEMENTS OUTSIDE YOUR OWN BODY ARE ALLOWED! EACH FIGHT WILL LAST UNTIL ONE PARTICIPANT IS UNCONSCIOUS, HAS GIVEN UP, OR WAS THROWN OUT OF THE RING!" " Alright Daika, are you ready?" " DAIKA AND EFIRTS EKAM, PLEASE ENTER THE RING! YOU BOTH HAVE FIVE MINUTES BEFORE YOU'RE AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED!" ' Fortunate for us, eh Walker? Transformations are allowed for us, it seems, as well.' " Daika! Kick his ass for me, you hear?" " Show him the true might of the Saiyan race!" Once Daika entered the ring, his opponent revealed himself, with a certain unwillingness about him. The young man, one of the younger Ekam participants, wore a simple grey hoodie, with a button-up shirt and tie beneath it. Efirts didn't appear prepared for a fight, rather for a study session. The seemingly studious warrior bore mere black bifocals upon his facial features, his irises averting Daika's gaze constantly in any way possible. In a way, he unfortunately appeared akin to Liam, with dirty blond hair and blue-grey eyes. The Human shifting his stance slightly, albeit remaining within an upright position. " L-Let's have a nice match....I guess....did I say that wrong...?" ' Shit I did didn't I? Oh Kami, what if Liam yells at me for this?!' As the warriors prepared, the announcer stepped off the arena, his own position fluctuating wildly in exaggerated movements and motions. Waving his free arm dramatically around in a crescent-moon motion, he shouted into the microphone as a gong rang into the evening light. " ROUND ONE, VERSUS DAIKA AND EFIRTS EKAM....BEGIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNN!!!"
The first round has begun! Daika vs. Efirts! Efirts' PL: 15,500 Liam's PL (isn't visible but noticeable): 250,000 Daika ...Prepare for the first match against the Waterfield and Ekam families!

The albino silently waited for the matches to begin. Celmaru, Core and Walker all seemed to be chatting with the rest of the hybrid’s family, however none of them tried to talk to him, so he stayed where he was. Luckily, he wouldn’t have to wait long, as the official stepped into the arena with a microphone. He began to introduce the two families taking part in the tournament, before moving on to which fighters would fight each other. He noted the lack of support for the Waterfield family, it seemed that the Ekam’s brought a lot of support to the tournament. They would only do such a thing if they were sure that they were going to win, as they probably wouldn’t want everyone to watch them if they were going to lose.
The announcer went on, detailing who would fight who in each round. Here, he learnt that he would be fighting in the very first round. A grin could be seen forming on the Saiyans face, and his tail began to sway around excitedly. I’m in the very first round? Excellent! And I’m up against this… Efirts… Ekam? That’s a… rather strange but unique name. How interesting.
Before moving into the arena, he listened to who would be fighting who in the rest of the matches. Core would be fighting Evian Ekam in the second round, while whoever won the first round would go on to fight Celmaru. Well, I would be lying if I didn’t say that was slightly disappointing. Even if I win, my time in the tournament would already be ended by my second fight. Ah, well. It would give me a chance to see how much my abilities have improved so far. In the round afterwards, the hybrid’s own wife would be facing off against that… rather strange individual with all the facial piercings. He didn’t really like Nis, as he thought all of the bits of metal sticking out of his body was rather unhealthy and bad in a battle. An enemy could just grab some of them and yank at them, causing immense pain to the owner.
The rest of the rounds didn’t particularly interest him, but he listened well when the official listed off the rules. There were rules against poisons, foul play, killing the opponent, along with any unnatural strength enhancements. Unnatural, eh? So, we would all be allowed to transform. Excellent. That news was rather helpful to the Saiyan, as that meant if he was forced to resort to his trump card, he would not be disqualified. Celmaru quickly asked if the Saiyan was ready. He turned his head slightly in his direction, the grin now replaced with a small smirk. “Always.”
He then quickly made his way into the ring, floating onto its hard surface before walking towards the center. He heard both Celmaru, and surprisingly his father both cheering for him. Here, he finally saw who would be his opponent, and he was a bit shocked and disappointed. His opponent, Efirts, looked ready for school, not for a tournament. He wore a hoodie over a white button-up shirt, a ruffled black tie tied under his collar. He was also wearing what seemed to be studying glasses. He didn’t look like a fighter, and he didn’t even act like one as well. He was nervously shifting his body around, and tried his hardest to avoid eye-contact with the Saiyan as much as possible. He felt a bit sorry for his opponent, however he knew how easy this fight could now be. This guy looks like a complete pushover! I came here for a challenge, not an easy victory. Even though he didn’t look like much, his power-level was just under half of his own, which made him question how someone like this could even get half as strong as that.
He listened as his opponent nervously spoke, asking that they have a nice match. The stuttering in his short speech made him feel sorry even further. This guy doesn’t even seem to have a shred of pride or courage; he is just a nervous wreck. I know that I promised that I would show no mercy to these Ekam guys, but he looks like one of those defenseless puppies you see in those animal protection adverts. The towering warrior looked over his opponent once more, before sighing. “Good grief…”
The announcer quickly informed both the fighters and the crowd that the match had now begun, before a gong rang, loudly signifying the start of the match. However, most likely to the surprise of Celmaru and a few others on the Waterfield side, the albino Saiyan didn’t move into any kind of combat stance. Instead, he simply stood right where he was, as he then began to start talking to his opponent. A Saiyan talking instead of fighting? That was unheard of! Yet, here he was, doing just that. “So, your Efirts? Listen, because this will be the only time that I say this. If you want to give up now, do it. The only reason as to why I am saying this is because I can tell you are not a fighter. In fact, probably the only reason as to why you’re even fighting in the first place is because someone is forcing you to. I recommend that you do forfeit, as you seem to be way out of your element.”
Now that he had given his opponent a choice, he silently stood and waited for him to answer. The Saiyan seemed to have spoken the truth. Efirts did seem to be entirely out of his element. Now, all he had to do was wait to see what his reply was going to be. Perhaps it was fear, that kept his opponent from throwing the match. Daika could sense some very large power levels coming from the rest of the Ekam family, perhaps he was scared that if he didn’t win, his brothers would hurt and tease him. However, if he decided to stay in the match, the Saiyan would not hold back. He did say he was going to help clean up these reckless punks, after all.

Walker's eyes had closed, but he cracked them open a moment later when an Arcosian approached. Interesting. What relation did this young one have? Listening to the conversations, he nodded slowly. It seemed that Daika and Arias were not the only ones to be both pregnant, and have adopted. Intriguing.
As this Core approached, Walker leaned back, his fingers digging into the ground. Unseen by anyone, the roots began to dig through the ground, connecting to the trees around the clearing with the arena in the middle. Wood burrowed in, and subsumed the trees. Though there was no obvious external change at first, he was still searching for his target. First, however....
Looking down at Core, for even sitting down, he was taller than the Arcosian, he tilted his head slightly. "I am Walker. As to what I am... I was created artificially, but it seems that magic had more to do with my creation than science. I was made from a tree, as I'm sure you can tell."
Pausing, he looked up at the announcer, and watched the man begin to announce the rounds. He was fourth, hmmm? Interesting. Glancing over at Rewop, he tapped his chin. It didn't feel like the human had too dangerous of a Power Level. About 180,000 or roughly there. He should be easy enough to deal with. It was possible he was suppressing his power, but even then, if he had used something above Super Saiyan levels, it would have been notable. Nothing had occurred before, so if he HAD acquired such a power-up, it had been while Walker was dead. In addition, from what he was aware, Humans tended not to transform so much as to ascend to a new level, like himself.
As the various people conversed, Walker's eyes closed again, for a moment. There, on the opposite side of a tree. He had seen Celmaru glancing at that tree, and the power level behind it. It felt slightly higher than Celmaru's own, but entirely human. Well then, it was showtime. From the tree above Liam, a pair of holes sunk in, filling with a deep purple glow. Around it, an oval pressed outwards, forming into a smooth, featureless face, which pushed forward, looking down at the human. "So, Liam Ekam. I believe we have some things to discuss." His tone was ice-cold, and only audible to the human. Telepathy was fun that way.

Core was trying to follow most of the conversation involving his adoptive father, for those were the most important one in his eyes, the young Arcosian child didn’t fully understood what was going on, he knew there was some kind of tournament, but for the details, all he could know would probably come from Celmaru, that’s why he would try to follow his words, even if most of it was just talking with his relatives, but they were nice people for the most part so he didn’t mind to know them at all, he was much more looking forward to it actually, they seemed mostly nice and to see that his family’s extension were like, and he hoped that he could get along with all of them, except his great-grandfather, which he could only hope would leave him alone for most of the time, but there was no way he’d actually get along with hi, without something heavy like saving his life or something similar.
When the rather nice question from Celmaru’s mother came as to if Core was from a natural birth, Core would chuckle a bit, how funny would it be for Celmaru and Phae to actually have baby from an egg, which would be totally out of any of their biological body’s logic, but it would have been funny if Celmaru would have just made the joke that indeed he was their biological son, but Core would have probably gave it away by laughing his ass off right after the joke. Then a really weird conversation started with the saiyan part of the family, which Core didn’t minded at all, they were part of Celmaru’s family and they seemed nice, and for Core, it was just normal for his father to be confused by having an Arcosian in his family, but Core knew that he’d get along with it. When Celmaru’s father questioned him being in the family, Core would hover to his level, looking at him deeply in the eyes with an intense look. ‘’ You….’’ He would say with a deeply suspense voice, almost creepy before his face lighten up and he smiled brightly. ‘’ … are my grandfather, and I shall like you!’’ Core would say, giving a swift hug to his saiyan grandfather, making sure to confuse him, but also make some people laugh, which would probably release some tension in the group.
Core looked up at his grand-mother after she got the news and accepted the fact that she was indeed grandmother, despite her young-looking and her all-around affection that she seemed to want to give to Core. The young Arcosian child would of course embrace her back softly, it seemed like females in this family were more open to him and males were just kind of wierded out of having an Arcosian among them. ‘’ You are not old grand-mother, your son just adopted really early so you feel like it, but I can testify, you look barely older than Celmaru himself… I would have thought you were his older sister if you’d have told me!’’ Core would tell his grandmother, a wide smile on his face as he pecked her cheek softly, he had the feeling that the most people would be on his side about him being in the family, the best time he would have within them, and he kind of liked to give and receive affection anyway.
When his father acknowledged that Core had changed a bit, it would make the Arcosian blush slightly at his remark, even though he had not achieved yet another form, he could feel that he wasn’t that far from transforming once more, but it wasn’t really what was pre-occupying him in the moment, as he noticed his grandfather’s remark again, but he quickly said he was fine, which would show that unlike Core’s great-grandfather, this one would probably be able to accept him around once he get to know him better, which would make the Arcosian really happy, if he could get accepted by a saiyan grandfather, nothing was impossible anymore. The changeling also caught the mental message from his father and simply looked at him with a bright smile on his face, showing that he didn’t minded at all his grandfather’s behavior, it was normal for a saiyan not to be warm around an Arcosian at first. Looking at his uncle, that was still a saiyan apparently, but didn’t even seemed to notice that Core was there, would make the Arcosian amused lightly.
The young Arcosian would notice his father rolled his eyes, and at first, he wouldn’t understand why because everything was going rather well in their little place, but then Core would hear the voice of the guy who took their name at the beginning of the tournament. It appeared that the announcer was giving away the match-up for the first tier of rounds. Core would be on auto-listen the whole time and only payed attention when he heard his name, and then smiled at it was just the one he was expecting to face in the first round. In the middle of the crowd, he would notice the one other child-fighter and waved to him, a wave that was rather well received and even answered before Liam noticed and punched the little boy’s shoulder. ‘’ What a jerk…’’ Core would say as he rolled his eyes and finally went to see Walker.
The tall, almost giant to Core, tree man would turn his head and his attention to the little Arcosian that was standing beneath in front of him, and explained rather simply how he was created and what he was, and the first though that came into Core’s mind was. [Bio-Android, that explains a lot actually] But he would simply smile to Walker, the only other Bio-android he knew was a really nice person, and this one seemed to be just the same kind of guy. ‘’ Well, I’ll see you later mister Walker, I’m gonna watch the fight!’’ Core would say in an excited voice as he walked away quickly.
The young Arcosian would then join the crowd that was getting ready to look at the fight, both Daiki and the Ekam’s representative would be staring at each other, apparently they were speaking to each-other in a respectful manner, but there was something weird, the fighting on the Ekam side was clearly hiding something. Core would approach Celmaru and whispered in his ear. ‘’ This guy… he’s hiding something… nobody would look this silly in a tournament… watch-out, he had something up his sleeve…’’ Core would tell his father before looking back at the arena with a bit of a concern, they couldn’t just lose the first round could they?

" E-Er, uhm....p-please excuse me, I've forgotten to remove m-my glasses." ' Xypnísei ti dýnamí sas, na apeleftherotheí terástia dýnamí sas!' As the young adult guided his hand towards his spectacles, an odd telepathic message rattled within his mind, calling to him to release his power. Efirts' eyes glazed over for a mere fraction of a moment before returning to their usual state. The Ekam warrior's expression returned to a neutral appearance, however still emanating nervousness. The telepathic message within the student's mind shifted his thought processes, preparing his organic matter for a battle. A nearby elder opened his eyes, wiping sweat off his brow. Efirts fiddled with his hoodie, beginning to remove it as well within the time Daika spoke to him. His tie was also stripped off his body as Daika recommended for Efirts to forfeit, asking of him to surrender immediately. " Hey, uh, guys? The match has begun, you can fight now-" " Hurk!"
Efirts had struck himself upon the kidney. A dusty burst of energy jolted away from his figure, his power increasing somewhat. The studious warrior would continue, his muscles expanding beyond normal means. The previously thin frame shook, and quivered, as this power wasn't usually in control. The Human continued, repeatedly striking his kidney over and over. The Ekam spectators cheered at the sight of a swift end to Daika, whether it be via loss, or death. The start of this match had begun with more intensity than it should have, and the hybrid noticed the issue immediately. Celia and Maru gasped at the sight before them; a bodily metamorphosis, a rapid increase in strength due to an unrealistic method. Mentally apologizing to his wife, the hybrid folded his arms across his chest, removing his fingers from Phae's as his expression was filled to the brim with dread. " ....This is the Ekams' method of raw power increases...using the powers of their internal organs...with the Ki within them. My Mother and Uncle would know of this, as they've both fallen to this method...decades ago." " That's such bee-ess!" " Its an interesting method, however I don't believe this is natural....I never believed that it was." " Well, now you two know. Walker, Core, be wary of this when you fight your respective opponents...they can all use this method. Unfortunately....Daika is going to have to figure this out himself. Also....Core, you were correct....they did have something hiding, however I didn't expect any of them to use it so soon..." Atop the arena, Efirts powers were awakening, expanding his muscular mass beyond that of simple bulking. The announcer, however, took this transpiring event to use his voice once more, shouting into his microphone upon the sight of the ever-expanding Efirts. " WOOOOOW! EFIRTS HAS BEGUN TO EXPAND HIS MUSCLES! ALL THAT POWER MUST SURELY GIVE DAIKA A HARD TIME WITH THIS MATCH!" " Eímai Efirts Ekam , den mou ypotimoún! I might actually b-bother with my e-education, but I can still fight!" The previously studious warrior stood upright, his weight increasing exponentially. The expansion ceased, leaving Daika with an empowered opponent to combat. With one final strike to his kidney, the younger warrior stood before the Saiyan, grunting to cope with his immense weight. " Powers of Kidney; Stone!" Efirts didn't bother with answering to Daika's remarks, he simply had prepared for battle. The nearby elders smirked lightly, concealing their faces of glee and sinful, competitive urges to coerce their own to change so drastically. Meanwhile, within the thin crowd, the two brothers stood beside each other, contemplating their younger brother's actions. " So damn early? What a fucking bore, Rewop, ya fuckin' think Efirts can pull this shit off for long?" " Prolly not cuss-bro, last time he did this he nearly lost his own mind! Maybe he's got some trick for it or summin'." " Nah, he's too shitty at fighting for that." " Any ideas Evian?" " SO COOOOOL!" " ...'Bout right." " ...Where the actual fuck is Liam? He's supposed to sit his ass tight before his match with the shitty victor or whatever!" " Maybe he got impatient or summin'?" " Liam's too prideful to drop appearances like that. The hell'd he go?!" Nis surveyed the limited space like mad, simply in hopes of spotting his other younger brother. Liam, however, was facing another issue besides impatience at the moment....a literal face. The tree he hid, yet leaned upon shuddered, forcing the Human away from its wooden surface. " ...What the hell?" The arrogant Human stepped away from where he originally stood, shifting his gaze to behold another face staring back at him; Walker's face. The color drained from the Human's facial features as he nearly shouted in fear. Liam's voice was reduced to a whisper, somehow dampening his usually arrogant attitude. " W-What the hell is that?!" The mental speech from the tree-man invaded the Human's cranium, speaking to him...as they needed to speak with one another, apparently. Adjusting his clothing, Liam's facial expression turned sour as soon as he realized it was one of the competitors. Glaring at Walker's replicated face within the tree, the Human spoke in a hushed tone. " What do you want with me? Are you here to admit an early defeat? Or are you here on behalf of the entire Waterfield family?...You know, those losers you're fighting for." Awaiting a response, Efirts had begun his assault. Digging his heel into the arena's material, the burdened Human took off towards his opponent, closing the distance between the two warriors in mere seconds. Efirts would attempt to toss an offensive assault of punches, alongside three headbutts towards the Saiyan's chest. His demeanor had surely shifted into another Human's, however the albino Saiyan was correct; someone had forced him to participate...yet it wasn't Liam Ekam. It had been Nis that had forced Efirts' name into the roster, leaving his younger brother with no choice but to fight. The Human would pause if he were to fail in his assault, as his mind was impaired with this forced increase. Celmaru and Phae, meanwhile, simply hoped for the Saiyan's safety....and that a massive ape wouldn't go loose. Celia had begun to creep up behind her child, grasping his shoulders as she spoke into his ear. " Sooo~....who's my big Super Saiyan?" " Mother, please don't-" " Your Father told me~, you can't hide it~" " ....Why are you pointing this out now, instead of earlier?" " There were new people!...And they were your friends and adoptive son! I couldn't ignore those who treated you so well~" " ....Mother....spectate the fight, please. I love you like any son could, but right now Daika might be utterly...er...well, in immense trouble." " I can see from here!" " Celia, if you would, please allow my to coddle my husband, thank you~" " Oh, Phae, why do I have to move? You can do that with me!" " Wait Mother, don't give her ideas-!" " Please, Celia, if you are to embrace someone affectionately, please do so to your grandchild!" " I haven't seen Celmaru in months!" " You've never seen Core!" " Phae, Mother, please....don't argue- GRCK!" Celia had gotten to the hybrid's neck, subconsciously using her vice-grip upon it. More mutterings and whispers from the Ekam's respective side of the arena, wondering as to why one of the competitors were being choked by a seemingly young woman. Sighing in exasperation, Mato grasping his wife's collar, releasing her from her child and practically dragging her away. " Hey! Toma!" " You can stop doing that to our son now. He needs to compete after Core." " I haven't seen him in-" " Yeah yeah, months, yes yes. Maru, calm her please." " What can I do? I could never go against my sister's wishes." " What help you are, friggin' Human." Scratching his forehead, the Saiyan adult pecked his wife as he placed her atop the pony wall, hoping that the simple contact would silence her. A brief squeal was audible from the middle-aged wife, her facial expression becoming soiled with a familiar blush. In the end, Celia was no different than Celmaru when it came to love. Phae stifled a giggle as she wrapped her arms around her husband, affectionately embracing him as they both spectated Daika's match. Evian Ekam, the youngest, yet second strongest participant, stood at the edge of the Ekam family's pony wall, jumping up and down whilst clicking his heels together as he sprung around. " That lizard kid looks pretty cool! I wonder if he's the same age as me?" " Evian, go eat your apples or something." " My what?....Oh, food, right....but I'm not hungry." " Then give 'em to the Waterfields over there." " No! They're my apples! Heheh!" " Fuckin' kid, make up your mind! Eat them or give 'em!" " Nis go away!" Evian shot his tongue out at his elder brother, causing the grotesque warrior to recoil from the childish action. Grumbling, he returned to his brother's side, muttering. " Why am I one of the eldest out of these fucking morons?" " ....You're not the eldest....fool...." " Wha-? Oh, its you, Noisserped. I didn't notice your ass over there. The fuck are you doing?" " Wait, where's Noisserped?!" " Rewop, over there." " Oh..." " ...I'm just spectating." The dark and depressed Noisserped Ekam sat with his arms folded, spectating the first match. Nothing was within five feet of him, seemingly avoiding his presence. With jet black hair draping over his facial features, the dark Human stared at his younger brother's fighting with weighted eyes. The bags and weight within his irises weren't lost upon the Ekam brothers, however none of them bothered to support him; leaving him be with his thoughts or death and blackness. The guests of the Ekam family watched in awe as Efirts began to fight, mostly noting his forced output of "Ki". " I thought he was a nerd..." " That was insane, dude!" " I wonder if he's alright with those muscles..." " Can he do that whenever he wants?!" Regardless of the outcome with Daika and his opponent, the Waterfield family watched intently as the family tournament began; with a mere Saiyan and Human, as the issue with the Tree of Might began with. Celmaru glanced at the tree his cousin stood behind once more, however Liam was now within sight, a sour disposition about him. The hybrid quirked a brow towards him, wondering what had gotten to him. A familiar Ki had laced itself within the earthen soil beneath the arena, ceasing its strangely woven path within the tree Liam previously stood upon. Staring at his wooden mentor, his head cocked to the side, the hybrid attempted to speak with Walker. ' Walker...what are you doing? If you break Liam either physically, or mentally...possibly even both...wait until you can fight him. its not worth anything doing so now.' Maru quirked both brows towards his nephew in confusion, as he had no idea about telepathic communication. Shifting his gaze between Celmaru and Walker, he shrugged and continued spectating. Tensions were apparently high enough as is.
Efirts reveals the Ekam family's method of releasing Ki! Evian's PL: 201,175 Noisserped's PL: 108,000 Ekam Elder(s) PL: 5 - 1,000 (reduced via elderly age) Powers of Kidney; Stone (Flavored Ro'Shi) activated! Efirts PL is now 93,000! Translations for Foreign Text: "Awaken your power, unleash your immense strength!" "I am Efirts Ekam, don't underestimate me!" RIP Daika .... ;-;7

“I am fully aware that the match has begun, sir. I am merely giving this young man here a chance to leave with all of his bones… intact.” However, as soon as he finished speaking, his opponent started hitting himself in the stomac… no, the kidney? What… what the heck? Isn’t the point of this to fight your opponent, not yourself? However, this method seemed to have some interesting side effects. As he watched on, his muscles began to grow, and his power began to spike upwards. In reaction to this, the albino raised his eyebrow. A strange method to power yourself up, however it seems to be quite effective. He watched on as he continued to build up muscle mass, until he finished it off with a final blow to the kidney. He named this technique something to do with kidney stones. His weight and power had increased greatly, roughly to around 95,000 battle power. This was well above the Saiyan’s own strength, regardless of his weights being on or off.
“How interesting. Somehow, by inflicting self-injury, you are able to increase both your size and power. It looks like this won’t be such a boring match after all. Come, I will allow you to make the first blow.”
He raised his hand, beckoning for Efirts to come at him to begin the match. He could see that he was struggling to cope with the large increase in weight, and he would use this to his advantage. He could also see many of the spectators on the Ekam side of the arena begin to watch more intently. However, it didn’t take long for the human to accept Daika’s lack of caution. He quickly leaped forwards on the attack.
Quickly, he launched off a barrage of punches aimed at the Saiyan’s chest, which he allowed every single one to hit. They pounded at his chest-plate like tank shells, causing small cracks in the protective layer of armor. However, it held. His strength really has improved. It seems that I was a bit rash in saying that he was out of his element. After his punches, the youth moved in to deliver three heavy headbutts into his chest, causing him to cringe in slight pain. The force of the assault pushed him back several meters, closer to the edge of the arena. However, he quickly recovered from the pain. He had survived battles against far stronger opponents, even when he was much weaker than he was now.
“Good, good! It seems that I underestimated you, Efirts! However, your moves are still a bit sluggish. Come on, you can do better than that! Where is the ferocity? You look like you’re a bit tired even after that first opening combo!”
Truth be told, he was allowing his opponent to gain the upper hand at the start. He had planned out his first match quickly as soon as the announcer shouted out who would be battling who. Using one finger, he slowly slid his Blutz Bans back up to fully cover his eyes, as they had slid a bit down his nose.
“I reckon that this form is taxing on your body, due to the massively increased muscle mass and strength. If I am right, you will not be able to use this well for long! Come on then, don’t you want to win? I’m right here, stop dawdling and hit me!” He shouted, trying to goad his opponent onto the attack once more. However, it seemed that this transformation also affected his mind, as he had just stopped in his tracks. Hm. Looks like he traded off his brains for brawn. How about we make this fight… a little more interesting.
Swiftly, the Saiyan moved his hands back behind his neck, detaching the latch that kept his chest armor together. He then slowly lifted it up over his head, holding it in front of him for a moment before turning slightly back behind him. He tossed his armor to the edge of the arena, however it didn’t just land on the ground with a soft thud. Instead, it landed with a large bang, kicking up dust and dirt. This would reveal to anyone watching that it was not normal armor, instead it was weighted with very heavy metals and composites, severely reducing the power of its wearer.
He then began to stretch out his arms and neck. “Phew, those weights were really hindering me, it’s a shame that I had to take them off so early into the fight.” He then began to stretch out his upper and lower leg muscles, before moving on to perform jumping jacks. To the people watching, it would look very strange that in the middle of the match, one of the fighters suddenly stopped and began his exercise routine. However, that is what he did. Smirking he turned his attention back on Efirts, moving into his own defensive stance.
“Now, let’s try that again.”

The tree paused, and then began laughing. "Early.. Early defeat? Are you mad? I was going to offer you a chance to apologize. My original plan was to incinerate your pathetic hide for what you've done to Celmaru, but now I'm going to let him do that, just to see the look on your face. You have no idea what levels he's reached, have you? All that pain and rage you inspired in someone you looked down on... it's going to fuel the fire that burns you alive, human." He kept laughing as the face retreated, merging back in with the tree and vanishing. Just to keep the human on his toes, however, a root peaked up and jabbed towards his back before retreating. The clearing was full of trees, and it must be clear by now that Walker could essentially come at Liam whenever he chose.
It was cruel, and in any other situation, he wouldn't do it. However, after seeing and hearing what the arrogant man had done, Walker didn't regard him as a human. He regarded the man as a mistake. An error in how the world should work. If the error could be fixed, then that was wonderful. If not, as he suspected... then the cancer would merely be cut out, to preserve the whole. The man was decently strong, but if it came to it, he would show Liam hell, a pain unlike anything he had experienced. Then, he would allow him to die. Nobody treated others how Liam had treated Celmaru and got away with it forever.
Settling back to watch the fight, Walker raised his eyebrows at the suddenly bulkier human. He knew that some races could bulk up by increasing their muscle mass, but this was more dramatic than he was used to. Bing apparently could do it at one point, but it had been replaced, much as his own Bio-Metabolize had been. Shrugging, he simply watched, waiting to see what would occur. He had never seen Daika fight before, and this would be an interesting test of his son's girlfriend's father's skill. He had to pause at that, and sigh a bit. That was still quite bizarre to him, but he was getting used to it.
As Celmaru chastised him, the tree responded with an awkward chuckle. "Oh. You saw that. Well, he deserves it. But I'll wait until one of us fights him, the look on his face will be worth it." He was pointedly ignoring the ridiculousness that was occurring over here on the Waterfield side. It was tempting to release his Ki Suppression and stretch his power a bit, but that would likely just cause problems. It was far better to wait and surprise his opponent, if he could. It also wasn't clear if they could sense energy or not. Still, at his level and Celmaru's, transforming or releasing power would cause noticeable effects. Anyone with a loose cup in front of them was going to have a bad time.

While Core was looking intensely at the fight that was about to begin, an odd mental message would come to him, in some sort of weird language he couldn’t understand at all, so he tried to ignore it, and everyone seemed like they heard it as well… especially the man in the arena, there was something about him that was growing oddly, he was about to show them, show them thing he was keeping in his pocket as a trump card, his real power that Core suspected he had the second he entered the arena and spoke to Daika with his odd nervous voice, he knew there was just something more to it, it wasn’t possible for it not to. Core would look attentively, he wanted to see what was going to happen, he wanted to see what he missed about the guy that was so obviously going to explode anytime soon.
When the young human stroke himself, Core would widen his eyes, suddenly, his size was growing many times, to the point where he was now looking much stronger than Core could imagine he really was, he had surpassed Daika from far away, he was now really freaking strong for someone who looked so nervous, and yet he kept hitting his belly for some reason, though it was obvious that it was making his stronger every single time, Daika had no chance to do the slightest thing now, there was just no way he was going to fight this man as he was now easily ten time stronger than him. When Core heard Celmaru speak about what was happening, he would turn to him and quickly listened to what he was saying, he needed to know everything he could, just in case his opponent would do the exact same thing.
‘’ So… the Ekam family inflict themselves injuries to grow stronger… like a transformation kind of stuff? I have heard of Saiyans doing a similar thing to increase their power via their metabolism that was bringing them new powers every time they were close to death, but humans didn’t had that specificity, so why would they bother hurting themselves so badly?’’ Core would ask to the crowd around him, hoping that someone would have an answer, but what came was another thing from Celmaru. ‘’ I know I was correct… I knew there was something bad happening there, but I wasn’t expecting it to be this intense… though I don’t think it will be enough to put either of me or Walker down, or even you… but Daika… he’s ten time weaker than what is in front of him, and I don’t think it’s going to stop and be nice to him for a moment, giving him time to prepare…’’ Core would mention.
Daiki has now his eyes stuck on the arena, he wanted to know what Daika was going to do about this, there was no way anything should work, but at least he had to try something to save himself, who knows if his opponent was still able to think quick enough not to kill him in this instance… Core would have to act quick if he was to continue hitting him after Daika would lose, the young Arcosian wasn’t going to stand there and let anything bad happen to Daika outside of the tournament’s rule, one thing went bad and Core would step him and bring the violence in the field, which would probably create a bunch of fight between the families, but anyway, he could handle all of them one on one, and he had backup, there was nothing he couldn’t do to help Daika.
However, Core would notice a discussion going on between Celmaru and his mother, Core would let out a chuckle, they looked very similar to each other the more Core was thinking about it, they were the same kind of person, though his mother looked more bubbly happy, where Celmaru was a bit more self-feeling, but in the end, they were alike, and seeing her hug Celmaru like Phae would hug him was something Core would be amused of, it was rather interesting to see that from the outside, though he’d prefer getting cuddled by Phae instead, but she seemed busy hugging Celmaru for now, he wasn’t going to act like he was unloved and spoil their moment, he’d get his time later on, he knew it, Phae wasn’t the kind of person to leave him alone for that long
While having nothing to do beside watching, Core would step on the pony wall, sitting on the edge of it and waved his legs forward and backward, he was right next to Phae so he could rest his head on her shoulder a few times to give her a bit of affection as well, and kept it close so he could hear if his parents were to say something that had to be heard, though his attention was mostly in that battle between Daika and that huge monster that had become that guy from Ekam, Core wondered what Daika could even dow with that monster, yet the saiyan was doing pretty good still. Of course he wasn’t attacking it, it would be totally pointless as you can’t hurt something that’s ten time stronger than you, but you can at least dodge and try to see if they have a weakened, and for now, Daika was doing good, but how long would both of them last? Core would quickly notice something and whispered to Phae and Celmaru. ‘’ Mom… Dad… this power… the kidney stone… it’s hurting him… really bad… his body is collapsing on itself… he’s not able to fully use this power he unlocked… why would they force him to use that…? If he keep going, he’s going to…need medical attention… and urgent ones…’’ Core would whisper to Phae and Celmaru, a bit worried as he looked at the kid he was supposed to fight against. [ I hope we don’t have to go there… I wouldn’t want to really hurt you…] He would think.

" To város aftó den eínai típota! Nomízete óti eímai axiolýpiti?" Efirts had expected immediate retaliation, as most Saiyans usually threw themselves into the pit of battle. Daika's taunt of his sluggish movements, however, made the oversized Human rather irritated. At this point, he had abandoned the use of English, and resorted to the foreign language his elders had informed him with. Speaking with Efirts Ekam had become pointless, despite the understanding of the language...Daika wouldn't be able to understand his retorts within the foreign language. Beginning to snarl, the unnaturally muscular Human charged forward once more, briefly paying any attention to his Saiyan opponent as a muscular elbow was shot straight towards the Saiyan's facial features, intending to knock him away from the arena. As the Human began to guide his elbow towards its target, he froze, beholding the sight of discarded weights. Surprised whispers within the Ekam crowd escalated as the furthest right corner of the arena shattered beneath the weight of the...er...weights. Dust, dirt, etcetera accumulated upon the shattered corner, the weights now left unused. Efirts spat to his right, speaking once more. As his speech concluded, the Human continued his path of attack, intending to retaliate if need be; simply via his massive forearms to block in an "X" shape. If the elbow strike were to connect, Efirts would proceed to toss a seemingly ceaseless assault upon Daika until he approached the edge of the ring. " Ti asteío! Boreíte eskemména katésteile ton eaftó sas!?" Meanwhile, beside the Waterfield side of the arena, Celmaru shook his head, disappointed over Efirts efforts. " ...He's hastily hoping to end the fight...doing so never truly follows through, unless one was miles ahead the other. I made the same mistake once...that didn't end well for me." " When was this, kid?" " Several months ago...when I fought an elder's familiar...what a day that was..." " Was this Ayumu? I wonder where he's been..." " Yes, it was, Mother. Ayumu had disappeared for a while...after that incident with Frigi. He wasn't...er...in the greatest shape when I had last encountered him. Regardless, we should focus on Daika's portrayal of strength...he had improved since I've last seen him." " He is your supposed student, after all!" " You have a student?!" " Yes, Mother, Father....I do." " When was this?" " When did that happen?" " ...When I still didn't have mastery over Super Saiyan." " How much did we miss, Celmaru?" " ...Probably too much." Behind the tree Liam previously leaned upon, the Human was facing a rather outlandish speech. That of Celmaru's newfound heights of power, among other things. The Human scoffed towards the sentient tree, shrugging sarcastically upon speaking. " Oh, man...I don't know, maybe I should apologize to a filthy rat that shouldn't exist! That bitch deserves what he gets, he's a monster, and a filthy combination between our pure genes and the unworthy Saiyan's own. I'm surprised none of my assassins have taken him out yet!" Liam adjusted his bow-tie, spinning atop his heel to swiftly take his leave from this strange conversation. " Now if you excuse me, I'm going to- ECH!" A tiny spike of wood had shot out onto the Human's backside, taunting him of Walker's ability. Liam spun around in anger, however the tree-man's face was nowhere to be seen, except with the Waterfield family. Shaking his head rapidly to forget about the tormenting tree, Liam had sneaked betwixt his family once more, standing beside his brothers once more. Rewop and Nis stiffened up for a mere moment, taking notice of their most powerful brother amidst their presence. " Alright losers what did I miss?" " N-Nothing, Liam." " I see a bulky Efirts, so you lied to me, something did happen." " ...." " Rewop was just noting really fucking cool events, Liam, don't beat him over a tiny ass problem." " I didn't ask for you, Nis, now shut up." " Hey Liam! Did you see the lizard kid?! He looks cool!" " Yes yes, Evian, he's all nice and everything, but did you know that he is an insane kid, and even a scandalous criminal?" " What are those things, Liam?" A foreboding grin stretched across the Human's face, his expression darkening for a fraction of a moment before continuing. Liam decided to take advantage of his youngest brother's naiveté, planning on turning his innocent brother against an innocent arcosian. " Very, very bad things, Evian...he's a really bad boy. He would probably make Mother cry!" " Liam, the hell're you-" " Shut up!" " W-...What? He seems so nice..." " That filthy lizard is probably placing a false sense of security around you....then preparing to strike as soon as your guard is down. That lizard might take you away too, down into his dungeon of terror!" Evian's facial expression turned into both fear and rage; an odd, yet unfortunate combination of both. Evian's innocent and bright demeanor had become laced with resentment as he blindly believed what his brother had spoke of. The child had shifted his gaze downwards, sensing a hint of subtle betrayal. Evian will remain silent until his match came....after he shouted wildly towards the young changeling. Waving his arms about intensely, the tiny Human shouted at his future opponent. " I'm not going to lose to some loser like you! You and your not-good games!" Liam clamped a mouth over his childish brother's mouth, silencing him immediately. Several elders within the crowd felt offended at such a lack of discipline within their descendant, and turned away from him in embarrassment for the Ekam family. Liam took it upon himself to rectify this erroneous method of speech....somewhat. " Shut....Up! Insult each other when your match starts." " Mrph...! MmmmMMMmmMMmmMMmMMMmmph!" Evian began to calm himself, facing defeat against his brother's grasp. Across the arena, the hybrid sighed in exasperation, along with Nis and Rewop. All three of them knew what Liam had done, unfortunately it was too simple; mere deceit. Nearby, Maru shook his head, having knowledge of Liam's antics when he was a simple child himself. Maru had left to train in solitude twenty years ago, when the Ekam prodigy was six years old. Even then his lies were prominent, pitting other families against each other outside the Waterfield and Ekam disputes. " He never learns, does he, Celmaru?" " Did you ever believe that he had the capacity to?" " Celmaru, please allow yourself to settle your issues within the arena, once....and if, you two face each other." " Oh trust me..." The hybrid clenched his fists, his aura lining his frame like a thin layer of plasma; he was intent upon facing his cousin...simply to educate him on infuriated Super Saiyans. Furrowing his brows, the hybrid muttered the conclusion of his sentence. " ...We'll have a nice conversation...Liam loves the dirt between his teeth, correct?" " Husband....please don't be like this now..." " Hm?" Phae had a sullen expression upon her facial features, her green eyes dull; the impossible counterpart of her usual glow. Celmaru could feel the glares from his family already. ' ...When you have you mortal enemy mere feet away from you...and you have the power to eliminate him from your life....wouldn't you do so?' ' Husband, could you please avert your attention from your despicable relative?' ' What? He's right over there! I could break him right now if I wanted to!' ' You're not alone at the moment...nor will you ever be for a while~' ' ....Did you seriously think I had forgotten my family?...About you and Core?...Even those two within you? Trust me, I'm not Daika, Phae.' ' Eh? I never thought you were-' The hybrid stared towards the ongoing match, mentally speaking with his wife as he spectated. ' I've kept you all close to me, constantly, every day, as long as I damn live. Liam is simply an obscurity within my path...I hope to remove him from this figurative picture...simply so I can live my life with my family in peace. I don't want anything interrupting my time with you two...especially you. I just want a few days, at least, in which we're simply happy and free from some sort of terror...as my life has seemingly been burdened with. You've somehow been able to cope with it all, along with my impossible impulses of ire...I apologize.'' You don't have to apologize for anything, husband! Please, just act as you would...I don't mind. You still truly are the man I married~' The couple partially embraced, given their current positioning proved it difficult to do so fully. Promptly placing but a single hand atop the seaweed woman's cheek, the two rested their respective craniums beside one another, listening to Core speak as they did so. The hybrid chuckled, however his disposition darkened slightly. " Its not really a transformation....its a forced output. They're usually fine before and after their use, however the inflicted injury will remain. Using the Ki within their internal organs, the Ekam family utilizes a certain variety of the Ki stored within each organ. From what I remember, the kidney uses stone, the lungs use wind, the throat uses water...er....I believe the body is completely neutral...hmm....I know there are more..." Efirts began to sprout a plethora of veins throughout his body, his strain becoming noticeable. Walker spoke up from the hybrid's previous chastisement, however Celmaru could only agree with his wooden mentor. Phae readjusted her position as the hybrid spoke, her figure dancing around the hybrid as she rested betwixt her husband's arms, floating above the partially paved ground whilst before the hybrid husband himself; pressing his arms together as if it were a double-sided seat-belt. Embracing his wife in a subtle affection, the hybrid responded to Walker. " I can already imagine it, Walker. Pure fear, all across his face!" " Pffhahaa! What a Saiyan response!" "Father, try speaking with Core." " Wha-?! No!" " Don't act like a child, Father. You're going to have to speak with those you despise sometimes." " Celmaru, come on, he's a tiny kid lizard! What could we possibly-" " Warfare." " Huh-" " Go on Core!" ' My Father...er...as you would expect, becomes rather ecstatic over warfare....please bear with him...you may change the subject once he gets to the Super Saiyan legend...I apologize, Core.' " Alright kid-of-my-kid, whaddya know about warfare?" The middle-aged Saiyan warrior's eyes lit up upon the subject of war; particularly fighting in general. The Father of Celmaru was without a scouter at the moment, and was unable to sense Ki. A single point of Core's power would shock Mato, as not many six-year-old children have power measures within the millions. Gently pushing Core towards his grandfather, the hybrid gave the arcosian a warm smile before interacting with his uncle. " What do you think so far, sir?" " Sir? How quaint! Just call me by my name, we're family, Celmaru, don't be so formal with me. Regardless of that, this Daika guy seems like he's enjoying himself...I guess he's a Saiyan, as well as your Father?" " Very much so...however he seems to have an issue with the Saiyan Solar Empire...best to leave that alone, if you could." " Got it." " Well....we might as well continue our spectating then." Efirts was enraged now, never ceasing his barrage of physical strikes, never bothering to use the Ki he forcefully increased. Noticing the strange, yet not stylish at all Blutz Bans atop his eyes, the Human took his assault to heart and lashed out at Daika's Blutz Bans. If Efirts were able to remove the multicolored shades, then this match would escalate immensely soon enough. If the muscular Human were to fail, then the assault would continue, ceaseless and unforgiving. With Phae in his arms, Celmaru would behold the sight of Daika potentially being backed into a corner.
Finally no new PLs to list! ;w; Translations: "This weight is nothing! Do you think I'm that pathetic?" "What a joke! You purposely suppressed yourself!?" "I'm not going to lose! You will face defeat!" Daika

(Alright Daika , you've had a whole month, your time is up! I'm finishing this now! >:3 )
The match had begun to spiral into an inevitable defeat; as Daika froze where he stood prior to Efirts' barrage. The hybrid spectated intently, analyzing any possible outcomes in which involved the Saiyan's frozen state. Closing his eyes, only one outcome came to mind; defeat. Apparently Daika's "Saiyan Endurance" wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. As the Saiyan's opponent charged forward, Daika appeared to shudder in place, twitching; possibly even collapsing under his own weight. ' Daika?....Daika! What are you doing?!' The hybrid's facial expression appeared hostile as he shouted into the Saiyan's mind, however not a single response came. Efirts ceased his offensive action, standing still in a partially battle-ready stance... ...As Daika staggered, and fell over unconscious.Celmaru exhaled in slight frustration as the crowd gasped in minor surprise. Slapping his forehead, both Mato and the hybrid groaned. The hybrid's father stood hastily to slam his foot into the pony wall beside him; an unbelievable anger spurring within him. Phae muttered to herself, simply stating an mere "Oh my..." as she witnessed Daika's defeat. The seaweed woman's husband, meanwhile, began to float to his unconscious comrade as the announcer spoke aloud...and boisterously.
"AND WE HAVE A WINNER! EFIRTS EKAM IS THE VICTOR OF ROUND 1!"
Touching down silently atop the arena, beside Daika, Celmaru uttered a few simple words to his "student".
"...Taking on more than you could handle...moronic, at best."
"STUPID FUCKING WHITE-HEADED RUNT!"
"Toma, please calm down-"
"No! That little albino calls himself Saiyan!? He couldn't even beat a little nerdy Human!"
"Come on now Mato, he's young, let him live and learn a little."
"Easy for you to say! You aren't prideful about anything!"
"Father!"
The Saiyan Father ceased his speech, staring at his son with blazing eyes. Ignoring such a furious gaze, Celmaru grasped Daika's boots, dragging him off the arena. There were several scarlet marks on his body; upon his forehead, his pectoral muscles and abdomen, etc. What a show Daika put up. With two armored boots betwixt his arms, the hybrid allowed his Saiyan comrade to take another injury as he flopped off the arena, his albino head making a swift impact with the grass beneath him.
"Walker, do you mind leaving Daika beside you? I don't think anyone here would dare mess with you."
Releasing one of the albino's boost from his grasp, the hybrid chucked Daika over his family, towards the tree Walker stood near. The Saiyan's body would collapse with a satisfying THUD, his weights being removed (with difficulty) via the arena attendees later. The evening light would begin to fade, the full moon glowing with its soft light. Sighing, Celmaru returned to his position beside his wife, their fingers intertwining with one another as the sun began to truly set. Efirts began to revert to his frail and gaunt state, his brothers chuckling over his swift victory. Several lights were lit nearby as the announcer commenced the next match.
"NOW! WITH DAIKA DEFEATED, EFIRTS WILL ADVANCE TO THE NEXT ROUND AGAINST THE HYBRID CELMARU!"
'Does he always have to point that out?'
"FOR ROUND TWO; WE HAVE CORE STOLD, VERSUS EVIAN EKAM! THESE TWO TINY TITANS WILL SURELY GIVE US A GOOD SHOW!"
"Evian you're up tiny-bro!"
"What? Oh, I am? Okay! What am I fighting again?"
"Some alien lizard, I don't fuckin' know, now go dipshit!"
"Stop being mean then, Nis!"
"When you start to fly, kid!"
The two brothers refused to speak to one another until later, if at all. However as of now, Evian was to approach the arena, bouncing up and around in excitement. Springing in place, the Human child awaited his alien opponent to reveal himself. Fortunately for Core, Evian had already forgotten what his elder brother had told him, leaving him unaware of what Core is really like.
"Come on, come on! Let's get going!"
"CORE STOLD, PLEASE ENTER THE ARENA!"
Once the hybrid's adoptive child would arrive atop the area of combat, Celmaru would leave him with a final telepathic message.
'Good luck, son....do your best. Prove to them that you're more than an alien lizard!'
"ROUND TWO OF THE FAMILY TOURNAMENT...! BEGIIIIIIIIIIIN!"
Evian Ekam has come to fight in the 2nd Round! His PL is 201,175!
(Note that this post is to get everything back on track, I haven't lost that much muse! :3 )

The tree nodded as the unconscious fighter was placed beside him. That had gone quite poorly for the young Saiyan. It seemed he hadn't noticed the assault clip his temple. Shaking his head, Walker watched over him, as Core got up to fight.
((Not really much to do atm, given how this turned out. Moving the plot along, will likely get longer when I'm not week 1 into a new job and being forced to sleep on the couch due to family being over.)
