Thread PL: 107,725 | PL set to 1 -- If Kay-El said this part of Namek looked altogether different from the last two parts of Namek she visited, she’d have been lying. Yes, this was a more ‘urban’ area compared to the plains from the other day and the, well, she didn’t even really know where she’d landed the first time since she never stepped outside of her brother Pin’s ship, The Pixie Blue. Somewhere near the city but not in it since he hadn’t been sure how the battle had gone or whatever - the whole thing made her head hurt. As The Pink Lady settled down by a ruined building, the whole place so outwardly different than the one she just left, it made her feel homesick and strangely at ease all at the same time. It was the lack of sameness all around that really did it. Climbing out of the hatch of her ship, the five (and a half) year old’s bare feet touched down on the ground, webbed toes wiggling and looking for grass or wood or sand or something she that felt familiar. But even the grass was a different color here, the sky above hauntingly, sickeningly green as if in an ugly contrast to everything she was used to. Still, it was better than the dry, arid, vast wasteland that was the parts of Vegeta she’d visited (which included an actual wasteland). She’d heard tell of some distant (or not so distant for all she knew) section that was super off limits due to toxicity readouts. Some poisonous gas in the area? Well, she steered clear of that part, for sure. As she settled and turned to the Lady once more, a black kitten curled up on her shoulder, two sets of eyes watched as the ship shrunk into a hot pink capsule that matched the paint job, although the actual ship had black detailing. Stowing the capsule somewhere safe, Kay decided now might be a good time to explore and see for herself what all the rumors and fuss was about. ΣnzymΣ

[4,882 Thread PL]
Within the still crumbling ruins that was what is left of Moori Capital, Enzyme lurked. His small caped form picked through debris, lifting the large chunks of previous buildings and searching for whatever could be underneath them, mostly corpses. Those who had decided to stick around for the confrontation between the Saiyan Solar Empire and The Devil Knights found themselves caught in an immense city destroying attack.
Zyme hoisted another large slab of wall up and propped it onto the tip of his tail, under it sat a crushed green body of yet another kind one. With a simple hand gesture he caught a few other namekians using when dealing with these corpses, Enzyme wished this one a good afterlife. His strong but tiny hands reached down and pulled the cadaver out placing it upon his shoulder.
He carried it with him past the rest of the buildings and away from the city, where a few other namekians stood, trowels in hand. They prepared fresh graves for every collected corpse that could be recovered from the desimation. The green skinned bio-android scampered over to a surviving dragon clan member blessing each and every body before prepping them for burial. Enzyme laid the new victim out on a mat at the priest's knees, which earned him a thoughtful pat from the elder green man.
His thick antenna twitched, he had been here when this fight began but was quickly ushered away. The people who had come were very evil, but also very powerful so it had been out of the androids hands. He wished to observe but with his studies being cut short he hadn't gathered nearly enough information as he would have liked. The aftermath was not expected however as both of the invaders seemed to desire something, and both failed to remember that in the midst of battle.
It wasn't long after that Enzyme met this group of kind ones, working together was a low ranking Dragon Clan priest, not that there had been many left as of now. The group were hesitant at first to accept Zyme, but he showed them he only wished to help. The group had been clearing away rubble and finding bodies for awhile now, but it was a long job and with few hands. Most people had fled the capital now, either for the rest of time or maybe until it was in better condition.
Enzyme was quite interested in the priest the most, though he was a beast of logic, faith interested him. He too knew that magic was something that also existed and was a very real subject to study. With diligence he had been studying his prayers and every thing the dragon did. Right now these people and Zyme were making their best of a bad situation, burying their brothers who will one day feed the grass and feed a new generation.
That was when a power level though minute pressed into the sky above, above the rubble of the city, and Enzy could sense it. With a sweet smile from his face that hid beneath his hood "I will return in an accumulated time Elder, I will be investigating more of the desimation" said Enzyme before bolting. His tiny feet carrying him across the breezy grass running his short body into the city.
Enzyme crept along behind the piles of shattered stone until he came into a clearing within the destruction, above him a ship lowered itself, pink but familiar. His eyes traced it's design, considering it's origins, and deciphering what may be aboard. He was hunched down behind the wall of debris as Kay made her appearance.
His intense stare turned into a squint as he recognized a saiyan to some degree, similar to what had already shown up at Namek's door. The same that had decided to bust the door down, the same that lead to the deaths of many kind ones.
He continued to observe Kay, watching he return her craft to its capsule, watching her turn her back. As quick as he could he ran up on the girl and stuck out a finger pistol, pressing it to the back of her skull. A look of disgust crossed his face "Identify yourself and your purpose here or face consequences."

At three feet even and weighing forty pounds wet. Kay-El didn’t think she posed a threat in such a desolated area. Did she have questions? She was five, many thought question to be her middle name. It wasn’t, but that wasn’t the point. She wanted answers, sure, but she was willing to be reasoned with. After hearing Hannibelle Evensong wanted to support all relief efforts here on Namek, Kay-El also wanted to see if perhaps she could help, maybe even make up for whatever damage her brother and his...work friend might have caused here. When she asked why Pin had been on Namek she’d liked the answer that they’d gone because their enemies wanted to conquer Namek and Pin and General Mayze wanted to become Namek’s allies. The enemy of the enemy being the friend, or something like that, she assumed. Even still, the SSE was a powerful entity and that they wanted to ally with Namek should have endeared them to each other. But when they’d gone back to Namek to collect General Mayze and continue Pin’s mission to talk peace with the Namakians in charge, said Namekians were nowhere to be found. Gone into hiding, had been Mayze’s words, and no one really blamed them. No, she wasn’t here on official SSE business, but if she could help her brother at all, then she would. Mostly, she was there for herself, though, and not too proud to admit it. Her scouter beeped to life on her head, the red techno monocle device whirring to life as she wore it over her left eye. For once she didn’t forget it existed and the press of something hard, cold and metallic against her head made her frown. Her tail twitched, a rare sign of nerves on her end, and she blinked rapidly a few times not that her new potential enemy could see that. It wasn't even a ‘real’ blink, the set of eyelids that descended rapidly was the thin, clear set between her eyes and outer, ‘normal’ eyelids. That she blinked them now showed she was nervous, more so than the twitch of tail would have. Of course, those tell-tale signs only helped people see the truth of the moment if they knew her well and not a soul here did. Raising her hands up she held them in what she considered the universal sign of ‘I’m unarmed.’ The webbing between her fingers showed but there wasn’t anything she could do about that. That and her pointed canines, her ‘fangs,’ she tried to keep to herself because of poor reactions from strangers (and others not so strange) that labeled her ‘freak’ or other just as unnecessarily cruel titles. “My name’s Kay-El, and I came to see if I could help.” -- PL Set to 1 ΣnzymΣ

Enzyme heard the beeping of the scouter as soon as he had gotten close to Kay, he hadn't considered it however the device seemed to bring notice to his presence. It was curious but far too late, Zyme ignored the device and had closed the gap before the young girl had become aware. This dark haired specimen stood roughly the same height as Enzy, a different display compared to the last visitors who had imposing figures and power levels. This one was small and very weak compared to them, even compared to Enzyme.
Her hands went in the air as he pressed a small index finger to the plate of her skull, if he needed he would blast her right then. Her fingers displayed a peculiar attribute of webbing which was fascinating, something that the bio-android cataloged into his databanks. Enzyme considered her appearance in completion now, this one appeared to be quite young, perhaps she wasn't a threat. However it wouldn't be wise for him to assume so and drop his guard, leaving an opening for more devestation to the Namekians.
"Define the term help, what are your intentions on helping. I calculate you are connected to the invaders that appeared here, they did not achieve any measurement of help." The green skinned creation backed off some, stepping away from the small saiyan. "Please rotate your form one hundred and eighty degrees, if you are to communicate the truth, I will require the opportunity to observe your facial expressions" Enzy barked out the order as his finger kept aim and his arm showed no sign of weariness.
He figured this girl would be no threat with her power level and if she did try something he would blast her dead on the spot. With the suffering he had witnessed from the kind ones, he was very suspicious of anyone who wanted to land a ship here. It would appear that while the inhabitants of this planet tried to live very peaceful lives they had something other societies desired. What that could be was still a fragment of knowledge that the android had yet to collect. Back to this new threat, unlike the several dozen bodies Zyme had helped locate and bury though, if this female had evil desires she would find her corpse at the bottom of a Namekian lake. It's flesh stripped quickly by any fauna that resided at the bottom of such with no one to pray for her peace or mourn her.
Similar to what befell the corpses of those who left this carnage

She frowned at the feeling of what she assumed was a gun pressing closer against her head, and appropriated the feelings of what she’d expected from that sort of weapon. The child never even stopped to consider that he had a different weapon, too focused on getting out of this situation alive and whole and well so she could report this devastation to her brother. Maybe he’d be willing to help, too, he wanted Namek’s allegiance, right? But defining the term ‘help,’ how did one do that to a stranger’s satisfaction? At least he elaborated in asking what her intentions were, specifically. Before she could answer, he backed off a little and demanded she turn around which Kay-El was more than happy to do. She wanted to see him, curious what sort of person was brave enough or strange enough to hold a five year old at gunpoint. The last person she’d met with seemingly no reservations on a target’s age had attacked her without provocation when she merely went to recruit the guy on Pin’s behalf. Really, she should have let the android handle that one, himself but he was more than just her brother, he was her boss, too, and she needed to prove she deserved that promotion he gave her recently so she could keep it. Reaching for the kitten still curled up on her shoulder, those claws dug tight into her clothes, she had to pry Pounce from his perch but once he did she could move more freely. With the small bundle of black fur safely in her arms now, she turned slowly to face him. When Kay-El did turn around, her dark blue eyes widened. A color that matched both her hair and tail, it was a midnight blue that swallowed the whole of her eyes leaving neither whites nor pupils, just that vast, midnight blue the color of Shikk’s waters where it lay deepest and as of yet largely unexplored. Little Green held up a finger and the corner of her lips quirked up in a smile that would have been a giggle if she had less self control. Thankfully, control was one thing she learned early on from her life with Pea after Wiz’s death. Her scouter worked (for once) and read his power and she relaxed just a little. Whether he believed she came on her own or was sent by the SSE, she’d let him wonder or ask, but for now she was alright with him making any assumptions, as well. People were people and often found themselves predisposed to believe certain truths as truth even if they were, well, false.. “ I want to help Namek right now. Help with the relief efforts, help with anything you need help with, really. Maybe my help isn’t worth all that much and you don’t want it, but I’m here to offer it, nonetheless.” Now she just spoke the truth, she did want to help and be useful. “ I know a little bit about what happened,” she added cautiously, not wanting to overplay her hand but also not wanting or believing in hiding anything from Little Green, here. For all intents and purposes she bought the story Pin sold her hook, line and sinker. Not only that, but it seemed General Mayze’s words corroborated that story, as well. Perhaps her time with Pea hadn’t been a complete waste, after all. A lot of people just ignored children if they were in the room, assuming many things about them that may or may not be true and Kay-El was observant, to say the least. Years of practice of being seen and not heard and learning to stockpile the information for later paid off sometimes and just maybe now was one of those times. -- PL still set to 1 ΣnzymΣ

Enzyme kept his sight on the small girl while she pryed a lump of black fur off her shoulder and did as he bid. The girl had dark blue eyes that matched her dark hair and held an animal in those arms. The creature wasn't anything like that which thrived here on Namek, more similar to the creature that cradled it. All of this was being obsorbed into Zyme's brain meanwhile he continued to consider her threat. She did speak up finally and gave him an explanation about helping with any efforts of relief for the people here. "You desire to assist in burying the bodies of those your people colaborated in murdering?" He asked while watching the movements in her face, from her muscles to her eyes, he lowered his aimed finger. "What little you know would imply you have had no involvement in what did occur. Then you would have no intention of any illigetimate dealings here." The bio-androids face stayed very stoic as he spoke "Considering the factor of your missing attendance in the previous happenings I cannot prove your tie to those. I have only assumed based on your appearance and therefore you are likely to be telling the truth as that is an assumption." His eyes looked over to wear the burials were taking place before looking back into Kay-El's pupils. "If your desire is to assist in the kind ones recovery, then I shall allow you to do so under my supervision." His steady arm had now lowered completely as he continued to speak "Located nearby is a farm that is housing many refugees from this city, many healing injuries or seeking asylum. They require assistance in tripling the crop yield in order to feed and aid all those who require their immediate assistance. Shall you accompany me?" "I warn you however, if you are attempting to elude me with your true desires I will" he shot his arm back up pointing it toward a pile of rubble and blasting it with a pistol shot Ki blast, reducing it to a dust cloud. "Do that. Understood?"

As she waited for him to decide whether to trust her or not, it felt like a lifetime or three. Then again at her age everything felt like the end of the world, right? Well, maybe it really had almost been the end of the world of Namek, did Little Green think about that? “ My people weren’t the only ones here that day,” she said thoughtfully, sticking with the facts. If her face showed anything, it didn’t show that she lied, but just maybe she wasn’t telling him everything she knew. They didn’t know each other all that long or well yet and holding back critical information felt safer at the moment, unless this creature was in charge somehow? “ It’s true I wasn’t here when everything got so… out of hand,” she added thoughtfully, and it felt strange not to have to look up to meet someone else’s eyes for once. Looking forward, not having to crane her neck, it was nice. The only other person she didn’t have to look up to see lately was Core, but even that wasn’t true anymore - even he was taller than her now that he achieved his new form. Oddly enough, she wanted to trust this guy despite only just meeting him. Maybe the world had been too cruel to the child so far, or maybe it toughened her up for worse yet to come, whichever proved to be the case, only time would tell. But Little Green didn’t seem so bad as he explained to her how she could help. “ Sounds good,” she said, and gesture for him to lead the way. At his display of shattering rocks she winced just a little. “ I promise, I just want to help and try to make things right. Anyway, what’s your name?” She’d already given him hers and if they were going to work together, she hoped to learn at least that much about her new friend. Even if ‘friend’ were a strong word for their not so close bond, everyone had to start somewhere, right? And Kay-El had every intention on proving herself worth her word. -- PL still set to 1 ΣnzymΣ

He nodded his head at Kay as she requested equal information from the small creation "You require my moniker? That would appear to be a fair request... Kay." Enzyme began walking heading the direction of the farm he had mentioned, his lack of flying ability prominent now. He was brought to a stop when he stood next to Kay, his head cocked as he looked her in the face. "This one has taken on the classification known as Enzyme." With that exchanging of vocal representation of their identities complete Enzy held out a hand for Kay, offering her to take it "let us journey now." The ratty looking skin like cape that billowed around the bio-android blew in the Namekian breeze. Their journey was not far, they would soon come up on the farm that sat alongside a riverbed. They may have walked as Enzy lacks the capability to ascend into the air, or perhaps Kay had decided to carry him and shorten there time. Regardless they had made it to their destination post haste. There were several of the classic Namekian styled homes and a larger one that appeared elongated. The shell looking structures were flanked by many green people wrapped in blankets, some children who played childish games in the green meadows, and inside you would find many elders who slept in makeshift cots. There were many refugees, but it appeared even several of those had begun helping in the fields. One of these dirt patches as currently being extended to house more area to plant the leaves on which the Namekian would feast. Though it's true that there wasn't a requirement for sustenance to one of these kind ones, having sustenance in a time of healing could not hurt. Their approach was spotted by a adult, but young adult Namekian. He waved a hand at Enzy and quickly approached the two "Little one! You've returned, how goes the efforts in the capita-?" The green alien stopped as he recognized Kay-El as being quite an off worlder, and a nervous whisper spread through the people. With an upturned hand Zyme silenced them "Kind ones you need not concern yourself with this maiden. This is Kay-El, and she is indeed connected to those who have done you harm" his hand lowered and he stepped aside to make sure Kay was definitely in full view, Pounce as well. "She has shared with me a grand desire to assist your people in the relief and restructuring of your capital and it's atrocities." The speech seemed to ease the Namekians somewhat, though some of the children only peered around the skirts of adults. "She is also under my supervision. Please, allow her to help."

“ En...Enz eye..muh,” she said, testing the name out and liking it, even if she did find it a little hard to pronounce. “Enzyme, it’s nice to meet you!” she said and met his eyes, taking the offered hand and keeping the friendly shake brisk, somewhat firm like she’d been taught, and to the point. There were too many rules to making friends, she thought not for the first time. Exchange names, shake hands, don’t hold on too long or make it too short and don’t squeeze too hard or too lightly otherwise people might get the wrong impression and first impressions were everything. It was enough to make Kay’s head hurt so she tried not to think about it too much, overthinking let to over complicating and friendship shouldn’t be complicated, right? If she found his ‘cape’ odd, she didn’t say anything. Having been on the receiving end of such things she knew how much they had the potential to hurt. “ Yeah, let’s go,” she agreed, liking the walk his lack of flying provided. Then again, she didn’t know he couldn’t fly. Maybe it wasn’t far or he preferred to walk. As her host she followed his lead and walked beside him, unless he asked otherwise. As they neared the river and the small settlement there, at least compared to the capital, she recognized makeshift camps and realized just how many people must have been put out of their homes by everything that happened. At least there were survivors, people who got out, instead of just a mess of destruction and desolation. Yes, there was a lot of that, too, but at least many still endured. Thinking back to the attack she’d left behind her on Shikk the night she ran and all those she lost, she wondered now if she should have stayed to help or if she merely would have wound up another body to bury. Having been back since she didn’t think she missed much other than nothing really changing, and since leaving she’d definitely changed for good, even if it wasn’t for the better (which wasn’t something she could judge in an unbiased way). As people gathered around the two and began speaking to Enzyme she felt distinctly out of place and out of sorts. A half Saiyan stranger, and she looked it, too. Half of a race that rained destruction upon them, she didn’t blame them for their reticence even if she didn’t take part in that battle, personally. Pin did and part of her felt this was a step in the right direction to help make up for that, to help make things right, whatever that meant. Looking up at most of them, her gaze drifted to the children, some around her own age, but she kept her focus on the adults. After all, she had to impress her seriousness upon them the most, right? Perhaps playing with other children might be good later, if the locals even allowed it. On both Earth and Shikk she ran into trouble where parents kept their children away from her due to her evident differences. Shikk, despite being run by the SSE, they didn’t like her there because of the obvious demonic heritage. On Earth it was, strangely enough, a mix of both, Some, like Enzyme, assumed she was bad because of the Saiyan blood, and others thought her just too strange and weird that she simply must be evil, right? “ I’d very much like to make amends and would greatly appreciate the chance to help.” Despite their nervous whispers and energy, her own voice came out even, steady, as she addressed the crowd. -- Pl: 1 ΣnzymΣ

Kay's appearance brought upon a mild agitation to a few of the green people, especially those whose wounds were still fresh. But even then she was also met with a welcoming aura from some of the older, and some of the wiser, and some that may just trust the little green android. Enzyme's eyes watched Kay with curiosity, her addressing the crowd was very well done. "I do not have a complete understanding of her species but her articulation is comendable" crossed his mind while his feelers twitched in the breeze.
The caped little man turned to one of the Namekians then, speaking to him. "In our last social discussion you had hinted at the increasing of your crops. If you still require assistance I believe we can accomplish it." His small digits motioned to both himself and Kay-El.
"Of course my friend, let me gather you some seeds. We would just like the current size of our fields to be doubled, use any of the land here." The adult emerald alien would crouch down next to the very short outsiders. "Our people will appreciate this for many generations Enzyme, and Kay-El." His clawed hands resting atop their heads with gentle pats.
Enzyme soon found himself eyeballing how much land to turn over for the soil, calculating in his mind the average area. His eyes looking for Kay, and yelling out to her. "Kay-El, I will create new soil here, if you would, please follow behind and plant a seed every few meters."
His eyes focused back to the green grass at his feet, while his cape whipped up suddenly. The thick leather material forming into a hard carapace in the form of a plow. The bio android dropped it to the Namekian surface and splintered the dirt. Pushing his body forward as he tilled the land with his makeshift tools.

Kay-El stood as still as possible for a little girl to do which meant she was entirely fidgety and shifting her weight from one foot to the other and back again. An itch persisted on her lower back but she didn’t scratch it yet, not wanting to move too much under the Namekian’s clear scrutiny. When the consensus came down that she could help, or that’s how she read the situation and hoped she’d done so correctly, she said, “ Thank you for taking a chance on me. I’m really glad to be helping,” and she meant it. It was a good learning experience for her and, already, she felt she’d changed for the better. At five, that might not mean a lot, but these were her formative years, after all, right? Following Little Green towards the field needing to be plowed and seeded she finally reached around and scratched that itch, sighing in relief just a little at both physical ease and also no longer being in front of all those strangers judging her and deciding whether or not she was worthy or whatever. Or maybe that’s how she felt. Decision made, she followed Enzyme and took the seeds he handed her. Continuing to more or less dog his footsteps towards the indicated area, she said, “ Cool!” when his cape turned into that hard carapace that he used to plow up the soil they would use for their garden. “ You got it!” she said with a grin, planting seeds every few meters as instructed, a set determination on her small face. This Little Green was pretty cool in her book. “ Thanks for taking a chance on me, I won't let you down,” she said softly to him so only he could hear. Her thank you earlier was genuine, but without Enzyme throwing in a good word for her, who knew if they’d have taken her seriously or thrown her out on her bum. ΣnzymΣ
