[Max Thread PL: 66,487 Max Weighted PL: 16,622 Energy Setting PL: 1,000 Heavy Weights On]Kayle's scouter started blaring with a cacophony of various noises once again, just as it always did every morning. It was time to get up and start the days training again. He continued his daily routine by pushing himself off the bed over to the bath room, and began to run the shower, allowing the water to get nice and hot. Slipping into the shower, Kayle had to admit that he enjoyed the steaming water falling upon his skin. Lately he had only been taking quickie showers, but decided to stay and enjoy this one today. The shower took the better part of half an hour, far longer than usual. At the end of it, he finally stepped out of the bath room and continued to dry himself on the complementary towels that were present. Kayle walked over to the bed, and began to slip on the heavily weighted training clothing that he had been wearing for so long now, and then moved to open the curtains at the window. The room he was now in was much nicer than the ones he had been staying in in the past. He had moved from the run down motels on the outskirts of the city to one that was actually cleaned regularly. It was well furnished, decently sized, and was even on the first floor, unlike his other room. Kayle decided that today he was going to the desert for his intense training. He had already been to the Frozen North, and gotten some decent training there, so he figured he would try out the heat now. Maybe he would get some sort of gains out of it even if he didn't train hard. It had been a trying past couple of months, so trying that Kayle was now even questioning his loyalties to the empire, which was something that he had never done before. Not so much because he felt they were wrong, but more because of how he was treated within it. No matter how strong her became, he knew he would never be anything but cannon fodder in it. No hybrid would ever be more than that in the military of a race that prides itself on themselves. The few hybrids that were a true part of the saiyan military were likely either knew the queen personally, or they were just for show at most. This would not happen to Kayle. He was better than this. He was no ones play thing. Once he made it back to Vegeta, he would find out the truth of all of this. There was fast rapping at Kayle's door. He had no idea who would be daring enough to actually knock on his door. All of the people in the other rooms seemed to utterly avoid him at all costs. The people at the front desk were weary of him that they offered him a massive discount. He of course refused this discount. He didn't know why everyone seemed to avoid and fear him now. When Kayle looked out the window, he noticed that it was one of the people that worked the desk. He had been living here for a few weeks now, and not once had any approached the door. What could this man possibly want. Kayle thought to himself as he went to open the door. Outside, the man seemed pretty irate. "You there, you think that just because you are saiyan that you can get by without paying?! I'm not afraid of you. Pay up or get out." The man raged at Kayle. It seemed he may have forgotten to pay for additional time in the room. Kayle could feel the frustration start to build again. Just like humans to assume that he was trying to get over on him simply because of his tail. He really should be used to it by now because at this point it really was an everyday occurrence. "Listen you old fool, I didn't think I would be getting anything with out paying. It has been a long couple of weeks and I just forgot." Kayle replied, stepping outside the door and closing it behind him. "If it is really that big a deal, then here take it, though I highly doubt you would have been that confrontational to an Earthling." Kayle said as he threw zeni at the man, then turned around, and blasted off into the sky, a bright white aura surrounding him as he flew of, headed for the destination of Fortuneteller's Desert. The sun was high in the sky at this point, but was not yet directly over head, so Kayle knew it was still morning. As Kayle flew over the city below, he saw things that he had seen before from these heights. Cars were driving about on the roads, children were out playing, people were moving about from home to home, or shop to shop, visiting with one another or buying this and that. Even after all this time on Earth, this still seemed like an odd way to live. He could never figure out when humans had no interest in training the power that he knew they had within them, especially with things out there that could destroy entire planets with a flick of their wrist. It was time for him to be done with this however, so Kayle began to fly faster and faster. The ground below turned into a blur, and all he could see was a mesh of black and grey wooshing by and fusing together as if they were always one thing. Soon the greys and blacks gave way to greens and browns, which eventually turned turned to just a tan color underneath him. He had finally arrived, the desert he was looking for. He praised whatever god there may be for ki and the ability to fly at sonic speeds, because if it wasn't possible, he would never had made it here this fast. He began to slow his flight speed, and landed on a dune in the middle of no where. In the distance he could see pyramids, and a palm tree or cactus here and there, and some outcroppings. There was also a village near by, so if he needed anything they might have it. Though given the location, it was unlikely they would have anything of use to him other than the possibility of water, and even that was likely to be a high commodity around here. Kayle lowered his power level even lower than what it was before, it would sense around 1,000 if anyone could feel or read it in some way, and then got to training. In his head, maybe the lower power would help him get greater gains. Hopefully, this desert would prove to be as good a place as the Frozen North was. If not, Kayle could easily head back there another day. Nostalgic Ayumu

(Shop lv 2 activated)
While spending his time in the desert like enviroment, he could see a blur starting to fly through the distance while weaving a large net of telepathy to sense disturbances in this area, it was obvious Ayumu had been planning something the last few times. Constantly spreading small mechanical pieces in the desert and keeping a certain cool about the entire situation, nothing was more profitable than having a good source of intel in this vacinity. Bringing forwards a sense of urgency while starting to call out to the people in the cart to get ready for a possible 'customer'
"Just what is going to happen today..."
He muttered softly, his 0 powerlevel sitting within him, making certain that he was prepared to slice somebody in two if the neccesity brought itself forwards. A telepathic voice speaking towards him about a powerlevel starting to approuch which was uncanningly lower than the speed he had been travelling with causing him to slowly shake his head.
"Are you fucking shitting me... Have they found m... No, he should be diffrent."
Starting to perform a soft hop, he kept the others at a fair distance, a small sphere of the full powerlevel of 96261 floating around him while continiously closing in the distance for a honest conversation. Maybe he could have obtained a person who would honestly spare the time to get a real discussion going and learn a few things, yet this was easily crushed by the appearance of this person while clicking his tongue.
"Good day traveller! I am Ayumu, i am a food salesman who has been travelling the lands, for the price of a story of thy, i will offer meals beyond your belief! Many saiyans, even the saiyans that slaughtered millions of innocent, many namekians, even the namekians from rich society's with traditions that make it complex, even earthlings and hybrids who find themselves pushed down by oppresion cannot survive the onslaught of the food i deliver! Would you be willing to pass me a tale of thy history and possibly... Hmm... You are not here for just travelling are you?"
Slowly looking him up and down while softly shaking his head, starting to question exactly what was going on before realizing, could he have been hiding something maybe? arriving in such a careless manner he couldn't be as strong as was depicted. That would be impossibly with the obvious dangers known of this area, no sane person would be willingly training in this area before his next answer was.
"Please, just reveal who you truely are. Hiding your real power just makes for a terrible evaluation for when somebody likes me seeks out people to train. Although i must warn you, if you do manage to get the energy to keep up with the regime that i will throw you through... If your heart is not pure, it will destroy you and tear you apart limb by limb, like some vicious wolf born from your own darkness within."

Kayle was continuing his training out here in the desert, but he couldn't help but feel that he wasn't getting as good of an effect as he did out in the Frozen North. The heat out here was certainly blistering enough, but in the north he had also had a training partner, not to mention the storm and the robotic automatons that he had to dispatch. He was contemplating going back to the freezing tundra where he appeared to get better training, when this strange old man appeared seemingly out of no where. The old man looked quite aged, but rather buff with muscles particularly good for his age. Kayle could already tell by the quick look over and the click of his tongue in disappointment that this one had already prejudged him just like all the others. Humans, they were so predictable. The old man did do one thing that surprised him however, rather than instantly leaving, trying to get Kayle to leave, or just being outright uncomfortable, this man spoke to him in a calm tone. He asked Kayle if he would share his story, tell the man about his history and past. In return he offered food, then stated he was looking for someone to receive some training from him. Kayle wondered what the old man could possibly teach anyone, but he decided to oblige based on the offer of food alone because Kayle had forgotten to pack his own. He was so frustrated with the man at the hotel, that he just took off straight here.
He activated the scouter on placed of his left ear and eye, but it read 0 when pointed at the old man. This was an impossibility. His scouter must be broken or something. Then he noticed the small glowing orb around the old man, and pinged that with the scouter. The small floating ball read on the scouter as over 90,000. Kayle couldn't make heads or tails of this man so far, but his little tiff with Presto had taught him a thing or two about not letting frustrations get the better of him. Kayle decided to play things the way the man wished to play them.
Kayle looked the man up and down, standing before him with his arms crossed, tail swishing behind him back and forth. "Normally I would just have you be on your way. I can tell by that little tongue cheek you have already judged me, so why even try to speak with me? You know what, fine. I will tell you whatever you want to know, within reason, if you truly do have the food you say that you do. Besides, what do I have to lose other wise?" Kayle stated while staring at the man, not quite sure what to make of him just yet. "You want to know about me. You might be the only person to ever ask my about my past, and I mean that across all species, not just humans. As you can plainly see, I am a saiyan and human hybrid. I was born here on Earth and raised on Vegeta, spent most of my life there. Trained to be a part of the saiyan military, but for some reason, despite being more powerful than most of even their 'elite' class warriors, I was never picked up. One day after being rejected, I ran into a human which surprised me greatly. Humans aren't known for going to Vegeta. It isn't exactly a tourist vacationing spot you know. This human, his name was Bing I think, seemed to have an immense power. A power the likes of which I didn't think was possible, especially from a human. He was more powerful than both of the super saiyans I had just recently met, and I thought that level of power was merely a legend. Suffice to say, after that I started to think that maybe there might be more of these 'super humans' here on Earth. So far, I have been sorely mistaken. Bing seems to have been some sort of fluke, maybe even a mutant among human kind for the power he had."
Kayle took a few steps closer to the old man and continued a bit more. "No, I get here and what do I find. A crazed robot man trying to claim he was king of Earth. I remember I followed a man named Drake there to North City that day. I don't know all that happened. I remember a male majin and Bing fighting, and I got caught up in the blast. The next thing I know I was waking up in the hospital months later. It's funny, the people here, they always were careful around saiyans, but before my little extended black out, they didn't out right fear me based solely on my tail. Now it seems that everyone and their mother seems to give me the widest birth possible, all of them minus you, old man. I have no idea what happened to make people fear saiyans so much, but whatever it is, it sure had made living here on Earth that much more harder. Tell me, why do you not fear me? Why are you so brave? And how is your power level 0 for that matter?" He continued, pressing the man for a few answers of his own. "I guess in the end it doesn't really matter. I mean you likely are only trying to get me to buy something or what not anyway. Shop keeps, they seem to be the only things that approach me now days. My name is Kayle, by the way, if that matters to you. Now, for that food you promised me." Kayle then stood by and waited for the man to either continue speaking, or deliver on the food that he had promised. Deep down he really hoped that the man could and that he wasn't just playing off the 'saiyans will do anything for food' stereotype because he really was getting hungry.

While looking at your suprised expression before giving a frustrated look once again, Ayumu took enjoyment in your attempt to put on a scouter while starting to concetrate causing small strands of energy to build up around him... yet nothing rose, his power was still at a perfect 0, was he fooling you in some way?! Did he find a way to perfectly nullify his ki to a point where he was dead?! Simply listening and waiting for him to finish, Ayumu started to shake his head, starting to wander towards the stall and waving his cane to make him follow, a mediocre walking cane. Tapping against the sand softly, you did not hear it move in the slightest, instead you heard solid taps with rings of air starting to move outwards, walking just a few millimetres above the sand itself, casually making his way over towards the stall.
"I have not judged you like those filthy peasants known as arrogant pricks. I take my time to truely check out whoever i get to see, you think i ask your story because i am trying to waste time? i am honestly interested in you. But yes, as a hybrid there are many people who want to abuse you or either reject you... But you seem to have had some early luck to be trained by their military..."
Starting to pour some strangely colourfull fruits and vegetables in a large bowl, he had pre-boiled them, but in this very moment he was busy infusing a few sweet flavours within their beings, slowly starting to knead some dough.
"Yet at the same time i see you have always tried to bring yourself forwards and train harder to get up to the level of your hero bing, yet that isn't a mutant."
With a few rather well aimed blows leaving fist marks in the dough you could see it starting to thin out before growing thicker again, slowly becoming bigger and bigger in volume as his energy was slowly infusing itself within the meal itself, constantly asserting itself around it.
"What you have seen is a normal human, a perfectly normal human, he just trained a tad harder you know."
Moving his eyes from the dish, he started towards you with a honest smile on his face, one that showed his unique honesty and refusal to even feel slightly intimidated by anything.
"I am not afraid of you, i am not brave either, i am merely a fool who knows how to make death bend to my very will, as my powerlevel is nihil, nothing, yet high enough to manage some combat."
Speaking these words, he then nodded softly, having shown some of his strange power by hitting this dough, making you realize it wasn't just a show but also a depiction of his strenght hidden under a fake zero? But it shouldn't be able to lie!
"Kayle"
Finally speaking his name, Ayumu then simply let out a sigh and shook his head softly, presenting a dish, a six set of hand sized dough balls filled with the previously prepared filling, having used a small creative use of ki to instantly heat and prepare most of the materials. Their scent obviously seeping through the dough while a beautifull colouration of leaves starting to become visible from within as you then noticed a single ember was left inside, slowly dying out as the meal was supposed to be eaten with it inside, something that wouldn't harm us. Yet it had a small sakura leaf ontop of it to signify the fall of something beautifull while he then spoke.
"The saiyan empire has been attacking us for god knows how long, we have been constantly on the defensive and attempted a few attacks..."
Showing his determined eyes filled with the burning passion of a warrior who was easily capable of finding out a lie from a truth, somebody who carried the markings of honesty on his shoulders.
"Even something along the lines of the arcosians who were destroyed for their own entertainment, the namekians who are being pushed down to claim their dragonballs for their use... I am sorry to talk so negatively about your past, but i am glad to have you here... Somewhere were i can say that this heart of yours has a chance to figure out..."
Taking off his white wife beater and dropping it on the ground before turning around, showing the vicious scars that were visible.
"To figure out just how much damage they have done and how many races we are trying to protect from a single crusade moving through everything to destroy everything that isn't listening to them."
While the flavour of the food only supported this notion, it was a sorrowfull and burning hot meal that would feel like it tore apart one person their body, constantly pressurizing them into a feeling of submission untill a sweet after flavour came. A beautifullly sweet afterflavour that was brought out to show that even within war there is something beautifull, that what you are burning down can have beautifull sakura trees that fall every autumn, with the possibility of a hundred diffrent children growing up to see this beauty of a sight as he then spoke for the last time untill waiting for a response of you.
"We are all alive, are we not? We may be sometimes stronger than others due to talent, but the strongest warriors in our multiverse are from skill, something they have rather done than sleep, something they have rather done than eat, something they spend every waking hour to do. just like you are here, under the effect of a scented candle that is invigorating your body, made to strenghten a person..."
Nodding slightly while quickly adding.
"Consider the candle that is burning a gift, it doesn't do much but it would allow you to rest for a entire day while still having your body advance like you did a day or two of full training, please"

Kayle would never admit this openly, buy he was a bit fascinated by this strange man. Not only did he some how have a power level of 0, but now it appeared as if he could walk on the air itself. The simple cane which he carried never touched the sand as he walked, buy instead bounced off of the air. The ability to do this seemed to be based off of flying by using your ki as propulsion, but was a bit more advanced. It was as if instead of using his ki to fly, he was using it to literally harden the air beneath him. The old man was talking to him while they walked, something about not judging him and being lucky to be trained by the saiyan military. Kayle was so focused on getting the food, that he hardly listened, but he had heard that last part. However, he elected to allow the man to finish speaking before he would reply.
Finally they had reached the stall in which they were heading. The old man instantly started to prepare some kind of fruit or vegetable substance, and then started kneading some dough. Seeing all of this, Kayle assumed that he was going to prepare some sort of dumpling as a snack. While preparing the dough, the man did let out something that appeared to be strength strong enough to actually mean something, but his power level remained at 0 all the same. This is something that Kayle must learn how to do. Through out the majority of his fights, Kayle had survived on speed and wit alone, as the vast majority of his opponents immensely over powered him. If he could some how learn to trick even scouters to read at 0, and ki sensers to think he was dead, then that would be even more of an advantage.
When he was finally finished preparing the dish, he passed Kayle a plate with six of the fruit filled dough balls to him. On top, it was garnished with a leaf of some sort. Kayle hoped that this was just an appetizer, because he likely could have eaten everything that was prepared and still be famished. When Kayle finally took a bite of his first dumpling, his mouth blazed alive with the spice. It was as if fire itself was applied straight to his insides, followed but the soothing coolness of a sweet after taste. Kayle could not believe how it tasted, and inhaled the rest of the dumplings.
"More, I must have more of food." He managed to say. After he recovered, he decided now was the time to give his reply to the old man. "You think that I was trained by the saiyan military? No, I tried and so far have not succeeded. Also, what do you mean the saiyans attacked you. Surely this was an isolated event, and not something that was preplanned like the Arcose invasion. The saiyans would have no reason to attack a back water world like this. Most human even I could kill, even if I suppressed my power level all the way down to like 500. There is no reason to want Earth. No way the empire as a whole would have interest here. Old man, I am here to train myself. The power that I have seen out there. It is something that I could not hope to compete with based on natural talent alone. Wit, skill, speed, they are all as important as strength and power, if not more so. I seek to diversify myself in all of these. One more thing, old man, what is so special about that candle? There is no way that it can give me a day or two worth of training while just sitting here. Is this some sort of metaphor?"

Chuckling lightly, he was suprised that he did not know about the current scenario with the SSE, something that made him all the more suprised. No, It wasn't just suprise, it was also a tiny bit of shock that this wasn't even spread information in their lower ranks, a form of keeping their mouths shut and bringing a good image still forwards huh... Slowly moving his hand towards a photo book, a few that he had obtained from just asking around, he gave a selection of pictures. An incident well known where the SSE attacked our planet did it not, It wasn't such a backwater place if they had managed to create such a large stir, before a soft popping sound would be heard a bit away, a few steamed spicy dumplings being finished, rather quickly scooped onto his plate.
Letting them rest in a small sauce to only increase its flavour, he would calmly speak towards you with a voice that had a stern attitude, one that was showing his no shit attitude towards his moment. Not wanting to bring out the wrong idea about what had happened in the past he would shake his head lightly.
"The saiyans have invaded us and are not going to sit on their arses as they have failed, this is a direct challenge to their pride is it not? a mere message that somebody can survive a saiyan onslaught and still survive. Yet who is there to protect us? These weaklings that we call humans are always ready to pick up arms when their live is threatened... Its why i believe so much in them."
Smiling softly before looking towards the candle that was ignited in the back, slowly spreading its scent, he would give a patient and kind smile.
"That candle is spreading a crystalized shaft of ki, we are letting it evaporate into the air using the mere process that a scent candle creates such a rather nice scent in the air, just by being here you can consider yourself both rested and trained. It wouldn't work more than once, but who am i to tell you otherwise right?, Everything has to happen atleast once in your life."
Speaking merely about expieriencing things, although there is one extra note to that question, if he were to stammer a yes... Then what reason did he have to deny that the saiyans had invaded earth? The pictures were there, they were fended off, but at great costs, many planets out there were under attack by saiyans regularly yet there was nobody capable of protecting them merely because there was nobody prepared to protect them. Just how would anybody expect to keep an entire galaxy safe from one bad guy? there are millions, to billions of enemies worse than the SSE, i am certain of this, Ayumu would have never known anything but the honest certainty of the fate that is scribbled upon our existance. To constantly strive in survival and battle against those who mean harm... that is what it means to be alive and surviving.

Kayle sat back in his chair, waiting for the food to be prepared. Secretly in the back of his mind, he had hoped that there would be more than dumplings. The old man had, after all, promised him a feast, and dumpling alone was hardly a feast to be proud of. Kayle had assumed that it was some sort of joke anyway because no one would give so much food away for free. Especially not out here in the middle of the desert where food was likely insufficient. It was more likely that this was either some sort of gimmick, or Kayle would be given a bill at the end of this session. A bill would be fine and dandy in Kayles eyes because he would refuse to pay it anyway. Payment other than the story was not part of the deal, and even the old man could not deny that.
The surprise on this strangers face was very apparent to Kayle. It was obvious that he was having a hard time believing that Kayle didn't know about the invasion. It was true, he didn't because he wasn't awake for any of the last few months. There were a lot of events that he likely missed during his time in the hospital. The old man pulled out some photo albums, and placed it on the table after hearing some sort of popping sound heard in the cooking area. The old man walked off and came back with a full plate of the spicy dumplings, this time smothered in a sauce that made it even more flavorful. After his return, the old man gave Kayle the plate and picked up the photo album again, opening it and showing a selection of pictures. Showing Kayle these pictures of the events that transpired as proof, the old man continued to speak about how the SSE had indeed invaded the Earth.
The news of the invasion hit Kayle like a bag of bricks. This news wasn't true, it couldn't be. There was no conceivable that Kayle could think of to make humans beating saiyan elites true. The only possible way that this could be even close to true in Kayle's mind, was if what was taken for an invasion, was in reality a mere scouting force. One thing that was said was true, however, if the humans really did beat a full saiyan invasion, they would be back, and with such force to make the first one look like a child playing at war. There was no way that the Queen was going to let this ride. A species like that humans surviving the saiyans was not only a mark on their pride and honor, but in a saiyans eyes, was against the general order of the universe. The power that the average human had would make them slaves at best in the eyes of the empire, and likely not even that. It was far more likely that they would just try to wipe them out completely, especially having beaten the saiyans before.
Kayle looked up from his plate, and at the old man sitting across from him. "Listen to me old man, if this is true, tell me how did the humans defeat the saiyans? It is true I don't know a lot about the capabilities of Earth, but I do know that most humans are comparable to dogs in power level. A low level saiyan warrior could take out most of your population by himself. What did they do to defend themselves? How could it even be possible for them to fight when super saiyans exist?" Deep down in Kayle, he found himself secretly hoping that it was the truth. A part of him just wanted to be done with both the humans and the saiyans. A part that just wanted to find another planet out there somewhere, where he could just train to be stronger in case they found him. There was no where he would be able to run though, and he knew it. He would have to pick a side sooner than later, but which side to pick was still in the air.

Letting out a bouldering laugh, Ayumu smashed his hand on the table and glared towards you, making certain to not drop anything with this sudden blow, he just glarede with a murderious intent that was seperated from any powerlevel anybody could ever hope to bring up in their bodies. Continiously pouring out this killing intent, Ayumu just gritted his teeth and looked down at the ground while saying in blunt terms.
"You guys are born with talent, Talent is great after all isn't it? You can go blonde and suddenly you start of as a much stronger warrior, but what you have never realized is that we have a legend underneath our ranks, we have a legend that warriors are even capable of defeating oozaru's when they try hard enough. It may seem stupid, but when the queen personally invaded and we rallied our forces together we won. Why did we win? Because we practiced harder due to being weaker, we were slammed down on the ground easily but we came back stronger after each attack, we researched, we studied."
Pointing at the wall of people who inscribed their names, thousands of warriors on earth while he then spoke happily, his smile returning.
"Earth will never fall, even if it does we are not alone, the saiyans have slavery but we have comradery, we open each other with open arms and even fight to protect each other, even i have saiyan friends who joined our side after having learned about how wrong it just is to act like they are..."
Taking out a large plate, you noticed a pair of blue glowing hands carrying a large beautifully decorated plate filled with a assortment of meats, each spiced and covered in unique parts of wrappings... They were all tiny little rolls of meat and vegetables from so many diffrent varieties! From vegetables off this planet that came in the last ship bringing from a planet in sector X93, to the vegetables from earths most desolate mountains it started to become obvious why he served this towards you. It was a meal showing the use of having everything work in unison, the assortment of flavours that would even make a saiyan stomach full within finishing atleast a quarter of it. Looking towards you with a challenging gaze, he simply nodded and spoke honestly.
"Show me if you are capable of defeating everything on this plate then, devour it all and see just how teamwork and co-operation makes even the most blandest of ingredients into something that makes people who havent eaten my cooking cry..."
Softly starting to wipe off a few of the knives before placing them in the sink and starting to run a soft wash, the heat of the stall wasnt uncomfortable, bordering at a pleasant warmness, yet it was so overwhelmed by scents... The thousands of scents working in harmony creating the mental image of a multitude of races just co-operating in one large bundle as true victors... How quaint.

Kayle sat and listened to the old man speak about this human legend. He spoke not have a single transformation, but more about the comradery of the human race. He had said that it had some how made the human race stronger in unison than they ever could be alone. This was something that had never even came across Kayle's mind. Depending on others in a fight so that you might survive. This was largely because being raised on Vegeta, it was a foreign concept, but also probably from the fact that he himself had never had a true friend or family he could depend on. It was always just him, and him alone, out to face the world by himself. Could this comradery that the old man spoke of truly be as powerful as he stated? If the humans had truly fought off a true saiyan invasion, then it had to be. Sadly, it was something that Kayle was likely never to experience for himself, not if he stayed on Earth or went back to Vegeta anyway. Time had proven that he was to not likely be accepted on either planet.
The old man started to make metaphor, comparing the human race working together to bland ingredients working together to make a very flavorful dish. As cooking was never one of Kayle's strong suits, he could only comprehend a part of the metaphor, but he got enough to understand the reference. Kayle sat there and pondered for a bit, still munching on the dumplings that the old man had prepared. If this was all true, then if the if the saiyan empire ever united in such a way, the entire universe would burn. Kayle was relieved with the thought that this was not possible. Saiyans could come together in small groups, but on the large scale, all they understood was strength. They would follow the strongest simply because they were the strongest, not because they had any real connection to the person. Thankfully, at least in Kayle's mind, the notion of saiyans banding together for the sake of others was something about as likely as humans becoming powerful on their own.
The old man continued speaking, and Kayle was brought out of his thoughts and back to the reality at hand. He dared Kayle to show him that he had the power to truly destroy everything. It was clear now that either the old man had not been listening, or he was attempting to manipulate Kayle. He had never claimed to be able to take the whole planet on his own. He could think of at least one person here that would kill Kayle without even touching him. Even if he could, he had no desire too. After a few moments passed, Kayle began his reply. "Are you daft old man? Even if I were able to take the whole planet on my own, why would you want me to? What would you get out of me doing so? I tell you this now, I personally have no wish to harm the people of this planet. I see no reason for it. What would I gain? I can't see that I would truly gain anything, and therefore would not wish to even try. Though, I will ask you this, like I do almost everyone I come across here. It is true that I see no point in killing those weaker than me, but again, I see no point in saving them either. What is the point in defending those that refuse to even try to defend themselves? Those that stand by and refuse to even attempt to train in hopes of protecting themselves or others? Why should people be protected, and people that truly do wish to better themselves so that they may protect themselves and others get targeted and no one protects them? Is it not they that deserve the protection?"
Kayle sat there asking the old man this not out of criticism of the idea of comradery, but more out of true curiosity. He truly did not understand why those that refused to try deserved others to step up for them. If they tired and failed was one thing, but never to have tried was something completely different.

Chuckling softly at his question, it was a rather interesting question that would be weird to answer at first, just how would one be able to spread their beliefs into a captivated person their heart without causing corruption of the thoughts and bending them to their own will. Breaking the original meaning of the words, it was not a thing he wanted to happen while placing his fingers together, slowly bending his hand causing it to pop and crack a bit, popping his knuckles rather swiftly and comfortingly with a look of content on his face before going to pop his neck. "You say that they do nothing to protect each other... But let me point at what we are holding in our hands" Bringing forwards one of his hands to point towards the food on the table, then moving to the storage with wheat, herbs, plants, everything was there sitting rather comfortingly, in a place that was open for anybody to reach out towards. With markings of fingers on some of the items, showing that he wasn't the only one who was plucking these materials as it was a gathering project of multiple people that attempted to strive together. "The business man takes our papers and makes certain we share everything in the right numbers, the farmer makes certain to work the land while doing his best to keep everything rolling... We are not just fighters, we are the smallest number of the population, the miniscule part that deems that everything spins around us, constantly asking how to reward ourselves while not taking in that we are being helped right this moment." Leaning on the counter, firmly placing his hand on the top with a sizzling sound from a few droplets of his forehead falling on the plate for cooking. "Right this moment i am not pushing you in a position of paying or doing something to make our trade fair, instead i have given you free food for something i believe to happen. Every human, every namekian, all these people that walk this planet are not here to just casually change on a fly, they have had their entire life the training to become a certain part of society to either entertain, support or bring forwards answers for us." Using a small strand of mana to draw a picture, you could see the farmers making food that we all require, the business man make certain to keep track of everything while not having the power to ever resist anything, making certain to push forwards a collected and precise chart of everything. Yet here we are, the warriors who are the fruits of a thousand people working together, earning money, building up and making their best efforts to push them up on the front stage. "Here i am, offering my hand towards somebody i believe to be a great warrior in the future, somebody i believe that will ascend into something much stronger than a mere saiyan. Why? because i am accepting the efforts you have put in questioning everything, in training your body, in pushing yourself forwards." Moving away from the counter, he spun his body around by balancing on the ball of his feet, his lips curling upwards in a smile, moving towards the back with rather pleasant steps. The soft thuds of wood under his feet from these sandals of his as he moved forwards slowly, going away from you before taking a small weapon of the wall. "I have once met a person who was a mere farmer, he was questioning why he should share his wheat with others when he was perfectly able to sustain himself. He fought to keep his land safe and his family, yet when he had taken his scythe from the corpse of a trespasser he could not believe his eyes when he saw the children of the man cry for his sake, he too had become a monster that hungers for self gain." Carrying a small staff like object back to the front, it looked old, metallic yet small carvings of energy where visible on it, as if ki was to be poured directly into it to even allow a person to truely see this cursed weapon his full potential. "This is a weapon once used by a man in the past to protect everything he held dear, i give this to you because i believe in you. I do not care if you slice me in two with this, if you backstab me or if you help us all by becoming another person we embrace happily." Slowly swallowing, you could see his eyes showing pain for a mere moment before clutching the weapon tighter and tossing it towards you, a simple throw, one that would be easily able to be caught. "If you wish too, i can teach you, but now you are at a crossroads, a choice for yourself that makes certain to truely test your path to the future. What will you do with your future? Either way, i am not going to shun you... Even if it may be strange, you are a friend to me in all regards." (Cursed Scythe : Blutsturm - prnt.sc/b0m3hc )

Kayle sat and listened to the answers, or maybe lack there of, that the old man was giving him. None of them seemed to make any sense on the surface. He blathered on about not everyone needing to be a fighter, that a business man made sure everyone had their fair share of money on Earth. From what Kayle could tell of his visit here, this in it self was a lie. From what he had seen, most businessmen were very greedy and tried to hold on to whatever they had, mostly for them selves. The farmer was a different question however. Kayle didn't know a lot about farmers, but it didn't seem like it was a particularly lucrative vocation to have. All that seemingly hard work just to get enough money to survive and plant more crops on. That didn't seem to selfish.
After all the explanations and showings of the old man were done, he got up and walked away. Kayle wasn't sure if this was because they were done, or because he was simply going to get more food or what not. When he finally returned, it was not with food, but with an object that appeared to be a slightly curved staff like thing. Kayle looked at the from the staff to the old man and back to the staff again while looking at him as if he was crazy. Before Kayle could even open his mouth to question what the point in the object was, the old man began to explain. It was a weapon of some sort, used by some man in the past to protect everything that he had held dear. After this the old man tossed it to Kayle, which was easily caught in one hand. He looked over the staff, still not knowing a lot about it.
"Tell me old man, how is this a scythe? It looks like a mere staff or stick. How do you even work it? How would I even learn to fight with it for that matter? I have never trained in scythe or staff combat before. Is the blade like invisible? How does one turn it on? This leads to more questions than answers, but I guess I should have known that was coming. You've to tell me more about this scythe staff thingy."
Kayle was completely confused, and hoping that the old man would lie to him about it. He knew that the humans had more reason to doubt and harm sayains than he had previously thought, but this was due to information that the old man himself had given him. Why would he give him this information and then try to harm Kayle? Something about that just didn't add up, and it did make the old man a bit more trustworthy. All he could do was sit back and hope that the old man told the truth, and truly explained the staff well.

Looking at this staff, Ayumu showed his distinct lack of wanting to touch the shaft of this rather large weapon with a pained look on his face, taking a few moments to breathe carefully, swallowing his saliva.
"Its a cursed weapon, By touching the shaft it will extract your energy like a hungry beast, allowing you to manifest a blade, but in its name, it is a unrefined beast that does not just allow it to be used by merely anybody. With blood being fed to it, it will be capable of changing into things that we would have never expected..."
Starting to cross his arms, looking around for a small chair in the vacinity to take, but his hopes were quickly dashes as behind the counter there were none to be found while speaking in a soft muttering voice about goblins that took everything every single moment he didn't pay attention. Manifesting a blue projectile it was shot towards one of the chairs in the customer area, morphing it into a hand that picked up a chair and started slowly carrying it away he then continued.
"Its grafted together with lines of silver on its core, nobody knows how the hell it became such a vicious weapon but the best suggestion would be to grab it and just feel how this beast will do in your hands. Yet somebody who will just viciously accept everything wont figure out how to tame a beast of this calibur will they?"
Excusing himself for a moment while taking the chair from the levitating hand and placing it down onto the ground, softly dusting off the chair with a small piece of cloth, it was a unnecesary requirement but it was a habit he had been stuck with working here.
"The blade is made entirely out of ki energy and with such, it doesn't just require a person to train with its blade and strike a opponent, it draws on your energy and becomes a part of you, requiring you to truely work alongside it. So when you grasp this weapon it will expand the energy poured within into a sharpened blade that drains on your energy, obviously you could attempt to use ki batteries to replace the drain if you replace them nearly every five minutes but then you would miss out on the co-operation of the weapon itself."
Before suddenly starting to mentally connect with you, His voice started to seep into your head if it wasn't denied its entrance.
'Just listen to its desire, this weapon has not just been offered you out of luck, it calls upon you...'
With a static feed of a hungry beast in the background of this sudden telepathic message that continued for as long as this mental link would be allowed to be kept up, it was calling out to a monster just like his own to feast upon its fallen enemies. With every single kill that it would feast upon powering its body up even further and further, it wanted to be free and to be capable of destroying everything, but with great power comes great responsibility...
