There it was. The planet Konats. What had been described as a treasure trove of arcane knowledge in the galaxy, outside of the influence of any of the main powers that governed it. And it was also where Reikiko had planned to begin her mission to form the Chimera Federation. With her death though, it seemed like those plans had been ground to a halt.
Cipher on the other hand had other ideas.
His ship, the Pale Rider, hung in the orbit, just out of sight. Below them, Cipher had identified what he believed to be the capital city. The BBA's information on Konats was limited, but judging from the city's size, this had to be it.
"Ready to go?" Porsalynne asked him, a supportive smile on her face. Cipher could tell she was excited, and for more than one reason. He had filled them in on his plan on the way to the planet, and his fiance had managed to finish her part just in time. "How does it feel?" she asked, reaching out to adjust his clothing for the umpteenth time. Cipher's outfit was much, much different from the attire he normally wore. He wore a set of flowing white robs, accented with gold and red, though it fit his form well enough that it shouldn't hamper his movements. He wore a set of golden (fabricated of course) shoulder pieces, accented with red (also fake) jewels. But what really stood out was the head piece. A golden sun mask which covered the upper portion of his face, his lower half hidden behind a white veil. His hair was tucked into the mask, and although the mask looked as if it had no eyes, Cipher could see through it perfectly. The android was virtually unrecognizable. "It's as comfortable as it was last time you asked dear," he replied, his voice hinting at the smile underneath his mask. Porsalynne smiled warmly. "Now remember," Cipher instructed, "Wait here. When I can, I will try to bring you two down onto the planet quietly. Understand?" Porsalynne nodded. "We'll stay out of sight my dear. We'll be watching your performance. Knock 'em dead."
Cipher nodded and waited until his fiance had stepped out of the airlock before opening it. With a rush of air, Cipher allowed himself to float out into the cold expanse of space. Slowly, he allowed himself to descend towards the planet, controlling his speed. Thankfully, due to his statues as an android, nobody should sense him approach. Slowly, he descended down through Konat's atmosphere. The large city below came into view and expanded out beneath him as he grew closer. He hovered in the air for a moment, looking for a good place to land. He flew over the city, high in the air before coming over what he could see was a large plaza in the middle of the city. This would be a good place.
Well. Show time.
Channeling all of his ki, he focused downward. "Rodin's Gate he said softly, as the massive ki barrier formed from his hand, appearing as a massive, beautifully designed disk of energy high in the skies above the city of Ocariin City. As he expected, the unexpected appearance of the barrier drew attention very quickly. Civilians looked up in shock, both in surprise and possible fear. Cipher held no doubt they hadn't seen anything like this before.
Very slowly, he allowed the shield to dissipate, beginning his descent towards the city. The people definitely noticed the strange white figure coming down towards them, many of which moving out of the way of where they expected him to land. As Cipher came close to the ground, he didn't touch down though, content to simply hover in the air. Through his mask, he looked around, taking in the people. Many of them were looking up at him with suspicion and fear, mothers hiding their children behind him. Yet nobody seemed outwardly hostile. That was a good sign.
Cipher slowly rose his hands into the air. "People of Konats, now hear me!" his voice boomed out over the crowd, amplified by his ki, ""Do not fear, for I bring good tidings to you all." He gave a small pause, allowing his words to sink in. "I am the Prophet, and I come in representation of another. A being of upmost power, who has cast a favourable eye upon this world and it's people. I speak of the White Queen, a goddess from the stars! I have come to deliver this good news to you all, and so that you may prepare for her descent upon this world. As her messenger and voice, I shall grant my wisdom and guidance, so that you may be the first to be part of her golden age!"
