When Core was in space, he saw Kay-El pressing her hand against the glass, he would put his hand in front of him in a similar fashion, smiling at her brightly, though no tears ran down his cheek, he was convinced they would see each-other again, but still, there was a weight on his heart while he looked at her leaving this planet, the small dot of light from her ship's reactor was shrinking in the distance as he stayed there, looking around the emptyness of space and then back to Earth. '' I will have to explore this one day or another... if i want to find them... i have to look for them... but right now... let's go back home... see you next time Kay-El...'' He would tell himself, though space didn't allowed any of his words to be heard from anyone, he was mostly speaking them to himself.
The Arcosian then turned back and pushed himself toward Earth, he was already looking foward for the next time they'd meet, which was a double-edged sword, he couldn't just wait for her all this time so he'd have to find something else to do while she was off, he was certain he could find some other friend in the meantime.
