"Cipher, what's going on?" Porsalynne asked, moving quickly to keep up,with Cipher's pace as the android quickly made his way to the hanger bay of Site A. Charlene was following close behind them. Cipher had already filled them in on Reikiko's plan, to depart and begin forming the Chimera Federation, as well, as finding a way to put a stop to the SSE. Naturally, they had been supportive. But then, Cipher had been called away by something, and now that he was back, insisted that they were leaving. Needless to say, Porsalynne was confused.
"There's been a change in plans." Cipher replied, "We're going to have to begin ahead of schedule." Porsalynne blinked. "Reikiko called you already? That as fast." Cipher paused and with a sad sigh, shook his head. "We're not meeting up with Reikiko. She...she's gone to Vegeta to try and fight the SSE alone. And I don't think she will survive." Porsalynne gasped. "We have to go help her then!" Cipher's face was somber. "I'm afraid that's not possible. We wouldn't get there in time to save her..."
A look of shock appeared on the android's face. She wanted to say something, but couldn't. A crestfallen look appeared on her face. "So that's it then? It's over before it even begins?" Cipher shook his head, resting a hand on her shoulder with a small smile. "No, it's not. I said we're moving ahead of schedule, not dropping the plan." He turned to keep walking, his family following behind him, "If there's one thing I've learned, it's that death isn't the end. And it sure as hell won't be the end of Reikiko. So until she returns, it's up to us to get everything set up." Porsalynne blinked. "Set up? What do you mean?" Cipher looked back with a smile. "You'll see. But first, we must depart. I don't want anyone trying to stop us."
They entered the hanger where the Pale Rider was kept. Nobody was around, which was good in this case. They didn't need any questions. "You two take your seats," Cipher said, heading for the hanger control board, "I'll get the door open and us ready for launch." Mother and daughter tried up the ship ramp, finding their way to their seats as the hanger door slowly began to open. Cipher joined them shortly after, visiting himself down in the cockpit, his four arms working to bring the engines on line. With a low roar of power, the ship began to lift off, hovering for a few seconds while the doors fully opened up. Slowly, he guided them out of the hanger before taking off into the sky, quickly picking up speed.
I'm sorry I had to leave without saying anything. But I have to do this.
He knew people were going to have objections to this, especially Realigner Red and the Z Fighters. But it was a necessity. Cipher had to lay the ground work in order for Reikiko's plans to succeed. It wasn't going to be easy. But Cpher was already formulating plans for how he was going to accomplish this.
Thankfully, he would have plenty of time to prepare for when they arrive.
