He soared through the clear blue sky at breakneck speed, white aura flaring brightly around him. Earth had become a bit dull, what with no real fights to partake in. He'd left the old man and woman alone in the Yunzabit Highlands because, as usual, he'd caused them too much trouble. Of course, that's something you can't dwell on in the grand scheme of things. He knew that his nemesis' men were after him, not the people around him.
His eyes scanned the landscape below. He could see the crystal blue water and the lush green foliage. The young man stopped in midair and slowly lowered himself to the ground, the cold, moist grass feeling amazing on his bare feet.
**Shojiro's Words** "A warrior's life is devoted to training, forever striving to become the best in the world at what he does. No matter where he is, he must use his surroundings to his advantage, becoming stronger with each passing day."
First he would rest a bit, however. Being as strong as he was now was amazing for him, as with each passing day he could feel his body's limits being pushed. Most humans nowadays would stop at what he'd acheived, his "second form" as he called it being very taxing. He'd used it once, and ended up passing out. For twenty four hours. This meant he would need to use it sparingly.
He sat by the clear blue lake, legs crossed in the Lotus position. Closing his eyes he found his center and began to meditate on that, his inner power feeling like a vacuum at the moment. He cleared his mind of all the thoughts of his past battles...he cleared his mind of the encounter with Shivere, and how the two would form an alliance amongst themselves.
He tried not to think about the way the Arcosian had called it "serving him", because that angered him just slightly. Why wouldn't it? After all, he was a proud warrior and it would be this sense of pride that lead him to becoming Earth's protector, or at least he'd try. Though, for him, it would not be so much "try" as "do". To him, it was something that he HAD to do.
He'd just found his inner peace when he heard a harmonious sound coming from the woods close to the lake. Now, it could have been the birds chirping as sweet as the sound was but upon standing up he sensed in the direction of the sound. It was a woman's voice, sweet and melodius...he stood up and moved toward the foliage, putting his hand on the cool green leaves and pushing them out of the way to see...
