Sighing as she stood up on the sands outside her home. It had been a day or so since Toma had returned and she was perturbed with the man. She did not know why it was but the whole thing on the Lookout had irked her something badly. As wanting to take the position is one thing but to do it within the day of people finding out about his death was something entirely different. She knew that there would have to be a reason behind why it was and she was going to force her husband to tell her exactly what it was that he was working on within his mind when he had stepped up there in front of all those people and spoke as he had. Taking in a deep breath she glanced at the home and she knew that he was inside. Doing whatever he was doing as she knew that Amalia had taken the kids off to the South Capitol for the day. “Toma can ya get your butt out here… I never got to ask you a few things.” Pacing back and forth inside of the sand she was going to await his response from inside and for him to come outside. Her pacing would continue until he stopped out in front of her. The first thing she would do is slap him across the face. “That was going to Vegeta with such short notice… But I understand why you did it so I still love ya.” Moving over she hugged him and spoke back up. “The other thing is… I want to know what it was you where thinking to bring everyone up to the lookout as such and speak on a topic so sore as the one you brought up in the heat of that moment. If you had just informed us all about the death yes there would have been anger and yet I feel people would not of been so hostile to the entire thing. Then we could of gathered around who would take his position and everything else… “Her words where soft as she pulled back from him and gave him something of a concerned look in her eyes. As she was trying to understand everything that was going on within her husband’s head. {{ Toma }}

TOMA THE HEROIt didn't take long for Toma to come to the beck and call of his wife. He had just stepped out of the shower, putting on his freshly washed Gi. Most wives wouldn't want their husbands wearing a fighting Gi all the time, but Ninjin was a master so she didn't mind. She did the same thing, most of the time. his hair was still damp from the shower, but it had already began returning to it's normal shape as the air began to dry it.
She hugged him, stating why she understood why he went to Vegeta. He had asked her if she wanted to come but she had declined at the time. There was nothing left there for her, unlike with Toma. Though, of course, he didn't retaliate when she slapped him. Not that it really hurt. He was far stronger than her ever since she had the kids.
She asked him why he did what he did at the lookout, and Toma sighed. He walked over, sitting on the couch next to them, pulling Ninjin along with him. "To be honest, honey..." Toma began, leaning back into the seat. "I was scared."
He thought back to how he had gotten to this world. The horrors he had commited as an Oozaru, the way he had been absent from West City.
He thought about Athren and Daiki, and what a mistake it had wound up being to trust them. "As I told you, I lost my first home. I took their lives with my own hands, even if I wasn't in control when I did it." He said, in a very matter of fact one. Toma had long since come to terms with that particular greivance, though he still wishes to get the dragon balls to right that wrong.
"I wasn't at West City. I wasn't at the Saiyan Invasion. I wasn't on Kannassa." He said, recalling all the times when he could've helped. "I'm tired of it. Sitting back and hiding, or being absent. I want to do all I can to help protect my new home. Not just for you or our children, but for the sake of every living thing on this planet." He said, thinking about the power spike he had felt on Kanassa earlier.
"While I was on Vegeta, I felt Bing's life perish. I felt Zuccetta gain a new, terrible power. I thought about what might happen if I stayed away from Earth any longer. And it scared me, what she might do to you and the kids. In my haste I decided I wanted to become a temporary leader to rouse the Z-Fighets into actions... though you saw how that went."

She had not been expecting Toma to say that he was scared or mean that he was afraid of what he had felt. Her hug faltered as she moved to grasp his hand in her own after she moved to sit with him. Listening to him speak of things that where in the past that had influenced him. Starting from what he did on Sylor. Then came the lacking events involving both Athren and Daiki and how the pair had seemingly failed the both of them. “We both failed the two of them hun. I failed to guide Daiki better and Athren let the power of the transformation to go to his head. Though it was because of him that I knew that this power existed and could strive for it. So in a way we can thank him for telling us that the Super Saiyan had returned… Even if that is a curse now.”
Taking a breath as she just stopped to listen to him. It was true as she felt the same way about the Saiyan Invasion, Kanassa, and any other battle that could of used her strength. He was right as she spoke up. “You are not the only one feeling this way Toma… After West City I wanted to try and get myself stronger to combat whatever was to come… and we missed the two single largest threats to the planet. Remember what Mimikku told us about something that turned Vi-Poi and all that stuff that happened as a result. Neither of us where able to do anything in those events and yet we want to do it now.. So that is all we need to do is to go out there and keep training is it not?”
Sighing loudly as he finished speaking. Nodding at him as she stood to go grab a pair of glasses and water for the both of them. Walking back with the glasses she handed one to Toma. “I did see it.. and felt it. Kid is impressive but enough about that… I think I know what my cousin did. Do you remember Natto and how he spoke about ascending beyond that of a Super Saiyan? I think that is what happened. Something mostly Bing pushed her into the desperate state that is needed for our Super Saiyan transformation. But she must have been in her regular state so when she got pushed to this corner once more she pulled out more power then even she knew existed. So this confirms it to me that there are more forms of a Super Saiyan than just the first stage… Makes me wonder just what there is out there.”

TOMA THE HEROOf course, when Ninjin spoke about how Toma and Ninjin had failed Athren and Daiki respectivly, Toma sighed. "Indeed... Athren became corrupted by his Saiyan prowess. He was my friend, my ally... someone I could trust." He said, leaning back into the chair, sliding an arm around Ninjin's shoulders. "There was a Namekian, too. Ukare. Anothe Z-fighter and an ally that I sparred with regularly." He said, frowning. "But... I found him dead on the ground one day. Just below the lookout. It was before we had met." He said, recalling how he had buried the Namekian.
"I gave him a burial, as best I could anyways... And I vowed to avenge his death. Thinking back, I hadn't known who killed him at the time. But I realize now that it must've been Athren. I had felt his and Ukare's powers clashing just before Athren's power exploded and Ukare's vanished." He continued. "If I had been there for Athren more, if I had helped him through his issues, maybe if I had kept up with him, I could've saved him." He said, sighing. "
I've failed so many people, Ninjin. My father and mother. The rest of the Sylorians. They're dead because I failed to protect them. Athren is dead because I failed. Bing is dead because I failed. I won't let that happen again." He turned, to look at her, as she went on about the new levels of Super Saiyan that could be attained. Toma nodded. "Yes, I agree. There are more levels to Super Saiyan than just the initial transformation." Toma said, sighing. "I wouldn't be suprised if the 'Super Saiyan Two' as I call it was only a middle ground transformation. I want to strive to go even further than Zucceta or Natto did. Will you help me, my love?"

“We both had those people… People we thought we could trust and yet things have made them pass on or move on. Like me and a couple of people. We both have lost so many. Yet I feel that we will lose so many more. This upcoming war I just have the feeling will not end well with so many.” She spoke softly her head gazing downward toward the floor and past her wringing hands. She leaned into Toma as she continued to worry about this topic. Listening to him speak about Ukare she nodded to him.
“You suspected your best friend on it and yet you could not act on it. That I can understand and yet I cannot seem to even fathom what it was We can always second guess what it was that we have done in the past we will drive ourselves insane. Cause I can say that my failure as a teacher led to the death and disappearance of at least two of my former students. Both Daiki and Gleciar’s death/disappearance I take personally despite the fact that I was not directly there for either event. As for failing people you have not failed me nor the children Toma. You have been here for all of us. Never wavering.” Smiling at him as she reached for his hand clenching it hard in her own hand. It was something she had begun doing after the kids had been born and she had needed reassurances about her own strength fading as it had.
“You think I would turn down that challenge Toma? If you did than you are a thicker knucklehead then even I imagined.” Smiling at him she chuckled lightly obviously teasing her husband with the remarks. Leaning her head onto his shoulder as she looked toward the television on the far side of the room. It was running some inane show about the global elections that where about to happen and she shook her head. To her the people of the world where so foolish as to believe a simple President would be able to negotiate with her cousin. As she knew deep down inside of her half saiyan heart that strength was what was most likely to maintain some semblance of peace between the sides in this war. A perceived strength on either side would give that side a massive advantage. So this would have to work in the Earth’s advantage despite the fact that many of the mightiest heroes that had helped Earth before where all gone off world in the moment.
She let out a sigh as she looked at the television. “Talking about diplomatic issues with the Saiyan Empire and whow they would make peace with them…. It makes little sense as we know that as a Saiyan nothing but total surrender or total defeat would quell anything stirring within their hearts. They will fight til the last of them fell down and pass on…”
A slight shiver would run through her body as she thought on that happening and she closed her eyes. She was not looking forward to this but she had a feeling that when the battle came and it would soon that the world will shudder at the strengths shown.
