The queen glances at her robotic arm, which had blocked the kick aimed for her skull, considering the human's question. "If it kept me alive, yes."
The queen slams her remaining fist upwards, aiming to dislocate the cyborg's leg at the knee, before jumping back. "I have a question. I know a little about the "Dragon Balls" of your planet, going back to the time I first encountered Virtual Poi at an old radar facility, in addition to resistant recon from the planet Namek--which was restored by those very balls based on Earth. So tell, me, Bing--how do I get and use these objects?" |

Bing pulls his leg back just in time, barely avoiding the strike from Zucceta, which most certainly would have broken a bone or two. Before he can retaliate, she hops away, posing a question as she lands. He frowned at the question; The Dragon Balls were a pretty well kept secret, though in all honesty it didn't surprise him that she was aware they existed. From a pouch on his belt, he retrieved a circular device. The casing was a dull white, while the screen on the front was an emerald green. He tossed the radar to Zucceta, beginning to explain. "To find the Dragon Balls you need one of those. It's called a Dragon Radar. It can detect the energy the Dragon Balls give off, and take you right to them. The only thing is that the radar needs time to recharge or else it will short-circuit--meaning you can only search for the Dragon Balls roughly once a week."The Cyborg slowly moves to a more relaxed stance, moving a bit closer to the Queen as he continued. "If I were you, I'd study that thing and try to copy the design. If we have more than one, our search can go much quicker... Of course, I'm just assuming you're planning on taking a trip to Earth at some point, otherwise you probably wouldn't have asked."--- (I think a post from you could end us off. Zucceta raises an eyebrow and raises her hand, opening her fingers wide enough to catch the radar. She lowers the radar to the level of her chest and presses a large button on its back. The green screen buzzes to leave, blips, and then shuts down, having not detected any magical Dragon Ball energy on the planet. She grins. "I can have the systems replicated. If I knew how exactly the Dragon Balls worked I could probably have built something like this anyway, but this'll be easy enough to emulate, I'm sure."
She raises her gaze to meet the cyborg's own. "Indeed. I need your planet's Dragon Balls for a wish." That was all she said. It was unlike the saiyan queen to not give a speech, some villainous manifesto. Perhaps it was a sign of change, perhaps it was a sign of a distrust of Bing Gan, or perhaps she was simply learning the value of silence.
She snaps her fingers, and the gravity ceases. "Sorry to cut this session short, but I'm going to work on my own Radar. Keep yourself busy, I suppose, and check in with me if you think your cybernetics aren't working properly."
And, with that, Zucceta turns and strolls out of the chamber, her heart filled with weight, and untold dreams. |
