It hadn't taken long to find this place. After all, it was where he and Vi-Poi had met her earlier, and her and Hikari's substantial power levels made it easy for Cipher to track them. He slowly descended through the bamboo forest, his eyes falling on the small cottage that the bio-android and her lover called home. A quaint little place. Maybe he should find a place like this for his own family to settle down. They had been staying in Site A ever since Avalon was destroyed.
Avalon. Cipher missed that place. A quite little sanctuary for the peaceful. It was a terrible tragedy that it had been destroyed. But it hadn't been forgotten, by neither himself, nor Reikiko.
Reikiko. She was the reason he was here right now. After that little complication on the moon, Cipher had felt the need to come down here and have a word with her. She had given an ultimatum to Vi-Poi, but right now, Cipher was doing this for himself. Even though they hadn't interacted all that much, he still considered her his friend, and he wanted to show her that.
Touching down in front of the cottage, Cipher approached the door, brought a hand up, and knocked gently.

Silence, an eerie silence lingered in the air as the bio-android had returned to her sanctuary within the Bamboo Forest. While in her usual state of mind she would have expected the fact she was about to receive some company after the events at the moon, to say she was her regular self would have been a lie. The door that Cipher had knocked on had remained shut, and rightly so because Reikiko had not been inside the cottage. She had actually been in the forest, having chosen to take a short detour after that confrontation with the Blue Banner Army. The specific part of the forest she had been in was a small clearing near a collection of apple trees, a clearing that had been the location of a recent battle. It was here where she devoured her daughters, where she had committed both a sin and a sacrifice because of the ignorance of Earth's defenders toward the threat that loomed on the horizon.
"How much do we need to lose and sacrifice before those idiots will finally deem it fit to take action?"
She couldn't believe what had happened today. Certainly she felt guilty about targeting Liang, but in her eyes it was entirely his fault and that of the Blue Banner Army for snatching the bait she had prepared. Her eyes narrowed into a glare while she allowed her legs to shift forwards, causing her to collapse onto her knees while she slammed a fist into the ground in a fit of frustration.
"How much more will you deny from me?!"
Because Earth and its guardians denied the very nature of her existence, her need to absorb to survive and grow stronger she had been forced to do the unforgivable. Did they even sit still for a moment to think about the grief her actions caused herself? Did they think she genuinely was doing those things for fun, that she was getting some form of twisted entertainment from this? In the meanwhile Cipher would have likely heard the sound of soft footsteps, and slowly the door opened on a slit to reveal a head peeking out. It would likely have surprised Cipher, to see who appeared to be an imperfect form Reikiko, but yet the dots on her carapace marked her as slightly different in appearance.
"W-We don't answer to at-home sales."
Yet at the same time those hesitant words were spoken to Cipher, the man would likely feel an alarming surge of energy appear behind him, accompanied by a more colder tone.
"Yuki, what did I tell you about opening the door for strangers?"
That voice clearly belonged to Reikiko, the matured bio-android having approached from the edge of the cliff the cottage stood on, and upon her arrival it seemed the child's demeanor changed entirely for she rushed out of the cottage, in a rather fast bee-line toward Reikiko. Her speed was not something Cipher would be able to not follow, but at the same time if she did reach Reikiko the words that followed would have likely surprised him.
"Rei-mama!"
The child clung to Reikiko's leg, but the bio-android merely lowered a hand to Yuki's head, patting it gently while the little Chimera child shifted to hide behind Reikiko at feeling the tension from his mother's predator instinct.
"What did you come here for Cipher? Surely the Blue Banner Army has better things to do after the fall of this world's Kami. Instead of preparing for the worst our greatest guardians are more occupied preventing childish pranks and destroying our world's only hope for survival. It's almost as if they are welcoming the approaching apocalypse with open arms. However, if that's the case it will be a welcome I won't be staying to see..."
Hikari was still taking Etoru back home... no, she didn't like those odds at all, but for the time being she was going to try to remain calm.

Cipher had thought he had prepared himself for anything when the door began to open. An angry Reikiko, a depressed Reikiko, a stern Hikari, a lot of things. What he hadn't expected was to see what appeared to be a miniature Reikiko answer the door. No, not Reikiko, someone entirely new. Then, the real Reikiko arrived, and Cipher was granted another surprise.
Rei...mama?
Cipher would have said something about the subject, but Reikiko was already getting straight to the point. So much for pleasantries. Cipher took a deep breath. "I believe trying to talk our only hope of survival out of abandoning the planet would be a good use of my time." He hadn't been told about Bing's defeat, but he didn't have to be. Anyone would have sensed the kami's energy flare up and then all but vanish. It saddened and shocked him, but right now, he had to keep a cool head. This was no different from any other diplomatic situation. Let's just hope this turned out better than his previous ones.
"Reikiko, what happened back there on the moon was just a misunderstanding. While I cannot speak for Vi-Poi or Liang, I can tell you that I had no idea the whole idea was a set up for you to trap anyone. Had I had known, I would have stayed away. And most likely the others would have as well. All I knew was that a volatile little super Saiyan was running around causing mischief, the same one which, if the reports I've read are accurate, was at one point influenced by an evil entity and went on a murderous rampage."
Cipher sighed, his expression softening, "Reikiko, as of right now, you and Vi-poi are our best hopes for this planet. I do want to help you, but we need to find another way of going about this. Otherwise, we're just going to have repeats of what happened before." He would wait for her response before continuing. He really did want to help Reikiko, and hopefully they could get all this worked out before it was too late.

The bio-android's eyes remained sharpened into a stern glare. To hear Cipher say those words had surprised her a little, for she had thought that he would have shared the naive idea that Vipoi would have been the only thing Earth needed to deal with the threat that loomed above them. Nevertheless, after a moment her gaze softened and she exhaled a long sigh, her tail gently wrapping around Yuki's waist to pull her upwards, while the bio-android gestured toward the door.
"Hikari went to pickup Etoru, and my other student isn't around currently so I guess we have an opportunity to talk."
Her tone had seemingly reverted to a softer one, showing that she would at least provide Cipher an opportunity to make his case. She walked past him, seemingly trusting him enough to disregard a potential threat to Yuki, for the tail-wrapped child was happily nuzzling into Reikiko's back while the bio-android approached the door, opening it and gestured for him to follow.
"Please close the door behind you."
Inside the cottage seemed divided into three sections. The first one they had entered was a modest kitchen, a doorway to the right shown what appeared to be a bedroom, at least judging from the large bed that was at the center. The left side, the one Reikiko entered was a modest living room that would have fit exactly in the image of a vacation resort cottage. She lightly lowered Yuki back onto what appeared to be a rocking chair, a hand reaching for a nearby basket to grasp for an apple, and after she handed it to the child, watching Yuki pierce it gently with her tail before humming in a blissful trance, clearly feeling more relaxed, she walked over to the nearby table, pulling back a chair to take a seat.
"Earth has no hope anymore Cipher. One of the few capable 'heroes' of our planet was slain, devoured by the very presence I been trying to tell Vivi about. However, in his ascension he grown arrogant. He believes himself and the Blue Banner Army to be without equal. To make matters worse? Earth would rather allow this threat to grow and strike rather than cull it before it's too late. For what reason? Did they learn nothing about the consequences the Saiyajin invasion had? Do they desire to see a repeat of the events of that day? At best Earth survives, at worst it becomes crushed and devoured."
She sighed, a shadow of sorrow darkening her expression as she continued.
"It is understandable that people are trying to prevent my ascension. In the end Vipoi of all people knows that a being like myself can only grow and evolve by devouring a worthwhile source of energy. A justified fear, in the end I believe that if I obtained a worthwhile source to feed on I would ascend beyond the reach of this threat, and even the united power of the Blue Banner Army would barely be able to even the odds... but I thought Vivi of all people would have known me better."
She closed her eyes, the happy humming of the little Chimera spawn nearby calming the rage that had been building in her heart.
"There is no other choice Cipher. If I don't find the chance to ascend before this presence that devoured Bing reaches us we won't survive. My reasons for protecting Earth have become different than yours. Earth is no longer my home, not after I was rejected by it. My only love for this planet comes from the bonds I believed I had forged upon its soil, and a promise... I promised a friend that I would destroy the threat that looms above us. A promise in exchange for the power he gave me. However, if the Blue Banner Army and the heroes of Earth continue to stand in my way then I will no longer stand with them and find my chance elsewhere."
In the end if they continued to oppose her, then the act of staying on Earth would simply be the same as signing herself up for a death-sentence
"I will not tolerate this anymore Cipher. I will not let Walker's sacrifice be sullied by my best friend's desire to play politics, or by the foolishness of Earth's guardians. For the sake of the peace he desires... to allow my father's naive desire to become a reality."
She clenched one of her hands into a fist, a look of determination in her eyes.
"My father only wanted to see a world without any conflicts. A world where humans, saiyajin and every possible species in the galaxy would coexist as equals in a peaceful and prospering community. Doesn't that sound familiar? Of course it does... It was what we once called home. That is my ambition Cipher, the reason I desire to obtain power at any cost. To turn the galaxy into Avalon."
She knew it was a naive and idealistic dream, but she was still chasing it.
"I know there are many who will disagree with me, but for the sake of creating such a future I do not mind becoming a monster. If I have to become a tyrant that crushes anyone that threatens the dream I desire, then that is a price I would pay without a second thought. In the end that's just a petty price in exchange for building a future where things like wars are considered a myth."
She turned her gaze sideways, looking at Yuki before she smiled weakly, whispering softly.
"Sadly at this rate there won't ever be a chance for me to see children like Yuki and Charlene playing without needing to fear that the peace they experience is fleeting. Not as long as people remain ignorant at what needs to be done. No, at this rate Cipher the only future that awaits us is one of regrets as we only get to blame our own powerlessness and the choices we made. Actually if you would look out of the window next to Yuki? Don't worry about disturbing her, she gets lost in her own little world anytime she absorbs an apple."
She waited to see if Cipher would follow her suggestion, and if he did he would likely notice the three gravestones at the back of the little yard, one larger with two smaller ones flanking each side.
"Reminders of my failures. My master Tamako died because I was too weak to protect the things dear to me. Slain by the very sister who was responsible for Avalon's destruction. The other two?"
She paused for a moment, turning her gaze away from him, and judging from the hesitation and the darkness in her tone once the words followed, it was quite a painful memory.
"Yuki's sisters. Two of my three children. Do you understand Cipher? To ensure that we even had a sliver of a chance at facing the inevitable confrontation I had to devour my own children.... BECAUSE MY BEST FRIEND WANTS TO PLAY A NICE BOY AND WAIT TILL THE ENEMY IS AT OUR DOORS!"
Her fist slammed harshly onto the table, causing Yuki to be startled, her absorbing tail making the apple burst into tiny fragments while her eyes started to moisten with tears. Reikiko sighed in frustration, rising off her seat to quickly grab another apple, gently plopping it onto the girl's tail while leaning down to wipe the child's tears away.
"I'm sorry for scaring you Yuki, I'll try to refrain from shouting."
The child nodded her head lightly, a little blush appearing on her cheeks after Reikiko gently kissed the child's cheek and turned back to Cipher.
"Then again, this conversation has been rather one-sided so far, so I'll give you a chance to suggest your 'other' way, just do not try to repeat the foolish notion of waiting until someone appears that deserves to be devoured. If we wait till that day, then you might as well roll out the red carpet for our destruction."

At least she was starting to relax around him, that was good. Cipher quietly followed her into her home, looking around the place before Reikiko began to speak. He remained quiet as she spoke, letting her let it all out. While he couldn't speak for Vi-Poi, Cipher did not fear Reikiko's ascension. He felt she was certainly one who wouldn't let power go to her head, especially after all she had been through. As she spoke of Walker's sacrifice, a sad look passed over Cipher's face. So that's what had happened to him. At least he had chosen to go out, rather than Reikiko simply forcing it on him. Then she spoke of Scargot's and her own dream, bringing peace to the galaxy, to recreate Avalon. Cipher wished he had the chance to meet with Scargot. He felt like the two of them would have gotten along famously.
At her request Cipher approached the window, taking care not to disturb Yuki despite Reikiko's assurances. As he looked out at the three graves, he was shocked when he learned that two of them belonged to Reikiko's own children. Sacrifices to protect this world. He could hear the pain in her voice, the regret. There was no doubt in Cipher's mind now. Reikiko was the best hope for this planet. While he's aw Vi-Poislowly detaching himself from humanity, Reikiko was putting herself through so much pain to ensure this planet's protection. How many others could claim that?
Then the conversation went quiet. Guess it was his time to speak.
"You know," Cipher spoke, "You and I have a lot more in common than I first realized. We're both artificial in nature, we both wish to bring about peace, not just to this world, but to all worlds..." he glanced down at Yuki as she enjoyed her apple, a tender smile in his face, "We have those who we will do everything to protect." A somber expression crossed his face, "And we both exist due to the death of others..."
He turned to face her. "I won't suggest a passive approach. That clearly doesn't work. And since we both know what happens if we try laying a trap, then that leaves actively hunting someone down. I can take a look through the BBA's data banks for any possible choices. We have an extensive information network, and with all that has been happening, I'm certain there are undesirables that have been looked over until now." While Cipher wasn't a fan of having to actively hunt someone down, there really wasn't any other way. Better someone deserving of death be removed for the greater good than any more good people having to die.
No more children have to be sacrificed.
"And if all else fails, if time grows short and we haven't found anyone..." Cipher took a deep breath. This was the big one, "Then I'll offer myself up instead. I'll give you my power so you can ascend." Looking into the android's eyes, one would see no sense of hesitation or falsehood. Cipher truly meant what he was saying. For a future for Avalon, for a future where his family will be safe, he would make this sacrifice if he had to.

Cipher's suggestion for them to hunt down an 'undesirable' had caught her by surprise, to think that Cipher at least considered the idea of a proper hunt rather than his boss's desire to remain passive till the enemy arrived. It was a concept she had thought about before, and it seemed she intended to share her opinion on the matter with the android, for she started speaking in the same calm and serious tone from before.
"It would be the most logical choice Cipher, that much I agree with. However, our planet is rather large and people have the means to slip outside our reach."
She paused her explanation, taking a deep breath before she turned toward Yuki.
"Yuki, it's bed time."
The child had just finished eating her apple and nodded her head lightly in response.
"Can Yuki take Ooza to sleep also?"
Reikiko's gaze seemed to soften a little, a smile appearing on her lips while she rose back onto her feet, walking over toward a box, that upon opening it revealed to had contained a plush animal. It was in fact an Oozaru-model, one that instead of the Solar Saiyan Empire's armor had been wearing a large pajama and a pair of sunglasses that clearly resembled a Blue Banner Army product.
"Yes Yuki, you can take Ooza with you."
The child let out an excited cry, and after embracing Reikiko's leg the child rushed with her new companion into the nearby bedroom, giving Reikiko the privacy she needed for the conversation that was about to follow.
"Did you feel it? Bing--- The planet's Kami his presence faded away. I can't sense anything anymore, not the life force of his ki nor his 'scent'. I heard rumors of where he went to, and am frightened if they are the truth. I'll be honest with you Cipher, for the sake of our friendship. If that presence I felt indeed belonged to someone of the Solar Saiyan Empire, then we don't have much time left at all."
She walked back over toward him, stopping only a few steps away from him.
"If the empire possesses someone with a presence like that there is no more hope in our current state. Saiyajin prosper in battle, and you can be sure that whoever killed Bing obtained even more power than they had. To state it bluntly, to wait much longer would allow them to nurture their strength even more. Do we really want to face a potential army of ascended Saiyajin? Natto was already bad, this presence is already a league above him. If they get a whole squad of them you're just asking for our planet to be devastated. What good will a victory have when it comes upon the sacrifice of countless innocent people, the destruction of entire cities, and our blue jewel to be turned into a shriveled husk of its former self."
She shook her head gently, a hand raised to try to rest upon Cipher's shoulder.
"To wait is to ask them to stab into the earth of our planet, to allow them to strike at the very things we hold dear. That is why I believe this time Earth has to take the initiative. That's why I will leave Earth in a week Cipher. If I can't get the power I need on Earth I will travel to another planet and consume people there. I will ascend and strike at the heart of the war-machine."
Her eyes sharpened as she declared those words, explaining her intentions to Cipher.
"To destroy Vegeta would be a foolish decision, instead I will take down the brain of the Solar Saiyan Empire. The Queen, the commander she left in charge of her troops. Anyone capable of being a combat threat to Earth, and unwilling to lay down arms will be slain. Then after I dealt with them I will take control over the empire. They will be the start of my plan. The Solar Saiyan Empire will be dissolved, and they will become citizen of the Chimera Federation. They will be taught that they love for battle, and their desire for strength can be obtained in a different way. They will learn to abandon their old ways, lest they be banished from paradise..."
The last words carried an ominous hint in them, but in return to Cipher's last words she finally shown him a genuine smile again.
"I appreciate the gesture Cipher, but I worry for the consequences. Liang will likely be torn by grief and just like Vivi lack the ability to understand the choices we make. Although I could technically ascend if I was to stab you in your core and leech it till it's dry, it will likely be a painful experience even for an android. Even when I tried to include anesthetics in my venom to lessen his pain, I could see that Walker suffered before his death."
She sighed gently, taking a step backwards and turned halfway away from the android while she whispered softly.
"How much more will we have to sacrifice. How would I face Porsalynne and Charlene if you were to sacrifice yourself? But at this rate... it would either be a sacrifice or an apocalyptic future. There... could be an alternative."
She whispered the words under her breath before she turned toward Cipher.
"Tell me Cipher, what happened to the people of Namek? Does the Blue Banner Army have any knowledge on them? If my father... if Scargot as a Namekian could create the dragon balls, then it would not be too far-fetched to believe there are more people capable of creating them on their homeworld. If that's the case there might be a means for me to obtain an ascension without a sacrifice."

Cipher nodded. People had many ways to hide after all. He would do his best to find someone suitable for Reikiko to consume, someone who's absence would be beneficiary. As Reikiko sent Yuki off to bed, Cipher couldn't help but smile. She really was a sweet little thing. He needed to introduce her to Charlene some time. Kids need friends their own age.
When Reikiko spoke of Bing, Cipher's expression turned grave. "I did indeed. I was off planet when he left, but reports spoke of something happening on Kanassa? It's easy to assume he went there to deal with it...and where he met his end." his expression hardened, "And I believe I know who is the terrible force that killed him. There's only one person I know who could reach that level, who would go out of their way to kill our friend." Zucceta, the Saiyan queen. The thougt made Cipher's blood boil. He knew they should have ended her after they defeated her on Earth. Why had Bing believed there was goodness in her? Look where it got him! "When I was on Vegeta, she had told me she had no interest in going after Earth, at least for the time being. But now,.,bow with this new power and Bing gone...there's no telling what she might do. Even if she doesn't go after Earth, she's a massive rest to the galaxy at large!"
As Reikiko explained her intentions to leave in order to find someone, Cipher nodded. "I will do my best to find someone here on Earth, but if that fails, then allow me to accompany you. I've been around the galaxy and there's a number of places one can go. The Arcosian Fiefdoms are locked in civil war, and I doubt they'll miss on fighter going missing." he felt himself pitying the alien Reikiko may end up going after.
Then came her ultimate goal. Remove the Saiyan Queen, and take te SSE as her own. "Avery lofty goal, but one that won't be easy. Even with the queen gone, there are a number of powerful Saiyans headstrong enough to try and challenge you. If that's te case, then I feel I should accompany you more than ever. At least to have someone watch your back. You're not alone Reikiko." While he wasn't fond of the idea of having to force people upon the Saiyans, it was starting to look like the only way to go about it. And who knows, maybe under Reikiko, their destructive tendencies could be used for more positive means.
When Reikiko suddenly brought up Namek, Cipher blinked. This was a sudden change in topic. "Namek?" he asked, "Well, I know that Namek was restored some time ago, so I would assume the Namekians are alright and prospering," Then it hit him. Is eyes widening. "That's it! The dragonballs! If we can find them, maybe we can simple wish for your ascension! That way, nobody has to die, and we don't have to spend our time looking for some poor soul to consume! Why didn't we think of this before!." It seemed to damn obvious now? Why hadn't they thought of this?

Reikiko had gone silent, seemingly considering the knowledge she had been provided. Cipher seemed to had decided he wanted to accompany her on the journey she was planning, yet at the same time her earlier comment had drawn some interest from the android. He clearly knew about the dragon balls, and shared the same idea that she had in mind, at least in a way. She shook her head gently, a brief smile upon her lips.
"You're close Cipher. While the dragon balls could be an option, I'm not certain we'll be able to gather them. Aside from the time it would take to collect them, we'd need to find out whether the people of Namek gotten themselves a new elder. If there is nobody able to make the dragon balls the journey would be useless."
She waited a moment, as if to give a bit of a dramatic pause in her explanation.
"But not entirely. Surely the people of Namek should have some written records of the teachings of their elders. I possess the genes of a Namekian so if we could find those records it would give me a chance for my actual alternative. However, before that I'm going to need to tell you about my other two objectives."
She was pretty certain Cipher would have been curious about her plans by now.
"I plan to visit the ruins of Arcose to investigate its Tree of Might, there is something about the vessel of this weapon that has left me curious about something. After that we will be traveling to a certain planet that I believe could be described as a 'fount of magic and knowledge'. The teachings of the elders.... The power of a Namekian .... The knowledge of magic. If we don't find what we need on Namek I plan to become what we need. Just like Bing rose up to the role of a Kami, I will inherit my father's role elsewhere. In the end a planet like Konats would be more suited for me than Earth."
Was she really suggesting it?
"I plan to make Konats the first step in my ambitions to create Avalon, and I will not merely become its leader... I will become its Kami, a leader both political and spiritual. And with the power I gain we can work together to obtain the dragon balls and make our wish. Of course this is all but a theory, but if it does succeed. Then perhaps we'll stand a fighting chance."

Cipher nodded in resigned agreement. Indeed, there was a chance the dragonballs were gone on both worlds. While he didn't know of how the situation was on Namek, the fact that Realigner Red had failed to gather its dragonballs was some indication. And with Bing gone, Earth's dragonballs were gone too.
But then, the rest of her plan got his attention. He hadn't considered that Reikiko possessed the genes of a Namekian (it made sense when one thought about it), and while he had no knowledge of Konats, the fact it was a place of magic did give some hope of their possible success. So Reikiko had planned to become the kami of the planet? An interesting idea, and if they could create their own dragonballs, then that would solve their problem completely. There was one thing about the plan that confused him though.
"While I can understand Konats and everything else, I am curious as to how the Tree of Might falls into the equation. That thing is nothing more than an engine of destruction, draining the life out of anything its planet into." He hadn't seen the tree for himself, but he had read of what it did to Arcose. "Besides, it's long since killed the planet, so it's most likely shriveled up and died by now. I mean, I can understand studying a live sample of it, but either way, I don't see how it's linked to your plans to become Kami." Cipher wasn't objecting to the plan, he just wanted clarification as to what she was planning. He was only hoping she wasn't planning on using the tree as weapon against the Saiyans. A weapon of that destructive capability is better off destroyed.

Cipher's confusion behind her decision to investigate the Tree of Might was understandable, and perhaps expected because it made her lips curve up into a smile. She had already thought about it, and Cipher's reasoning made sense, for the most part.
"Tell me Cipher, do you agree with the following Theory? I believe the Tree of Might is akin to a leech. The fact that its growth is associated with the slow consumption of the very life of a planet makes me believe it is in fact absorbing it, akin to a bio-android, the only difference being that instead of a person it consumes a whole planet. The following is just an assumption, but that devoured energy has to go somewhere. I want to learn the secrets of the tree, but not for the same reason as the Solar Saiyan Empire. I want to find out how it absorbs the planet's life essence, and learn to make that power my own. Of course I don't plan to use it to devour planets."
She shook her head lightly, a momentary pause following before she continued.
"This power has much more creative uses. For example the ability to transfer this energy from one person to another, or to leech it from an enemy to cripple them without killing. The Tree of Might is an enigmatic power that has such untapped potential that could be used in various ways. But ideally? I want to learn to use it to protect us should the Solar Saiyan Empire try to invade us someday and use it as a weapon. But also to use it in reverse... In the end, a Kami can be both a God of Destruction, but also a God of Creation. In the end surely if I obtain the secrets of magic I could use the Tree of Might's power, and a suitable catalyst to return life to Arcose."
And then it followed... that mischievous grin that explained her ulterior motives.
"And with such a display of power the Arcosian Fiefdoms will surely follow the Chimera Federation willingly. Of course that is if my theories become a reality."

Cipher slowly nodded as she explained her plans for the tree. A small smile appeared on his face. "Using that tree of death to give life..." Cipher looked into her eyes warmly, "Now that is something I can support." Life was a precious thing to Cipher, probably moreso to him than anyone else on the planet. He was starting to picture Reikiko as a life giving Kami, able to defend the universe against that death dealing Saiyan. It was almost poetic really. Plus, being able to bring in the Arcosian Fiefdoms willingly was a good bonus as well. A way to end the fighting. "Consider me on board with this," he replied, though he could only wonder what sort of role he could play in all this. Even in her semi-perfect form, Reikiko was still stronger than him. And she did have Hikari by her side as well. Lately Cipher had been finding himself becoming more and more unnecassary, especially since all his most recent ideas and attempts at peace had ended in failure.

She smiled briefly, yet after a moment the smile upon her lips started to fade away as a more stern look took its place.
"It won't be easy Cipher. Although I hope to accomplish my ambitions with as few sacrifices as possible, not everyone will be able to come to terms with my way of doing things."
She sighed briefly, her arms folded up beneath her chest as she seemed to be thinking about something. It was only after this momentary silence that was spend in thought that she spoke again, explaining things further.
"Take Konats for example. I know little about their civilization aside from the fact that they are akin to a treasure trove of magical knowledge. Even then my knowledge about the planet is limited to the old records I obtained. While I have plans to obtain the assistance of some people to scout ahead, I do not believe we will be able to convince their people without any resistance. It is likely we will be considered invaders, and even if we gain the cooperation of some people, there is no doubt that before the end of this journey we will have involved ourselves in conflicts once more."
She paused for a moment, closing her eyes to take a deep breath as she arrived at the point she was trying to make.
"Until we finish our journey I'd like you to go 'radio silent' to use an Earthling saying. Nobody from the Blue Banner Army should know about your assistance while we go to Konats, perhaps to protect your identity I would even suggest a disguise, for all intends or purposes we might be breaking some laws and making some enemies to get where we need to be. I would feel much more comfortable if you cease communications with the organization till we are done. Perhaps we can find a way for you to talk to your family even while we are gone, to reassure them, but this request is two-sided. First, if Vivi learned of my intentions he would surely protest. I imagine he would try to keep me on Earth at any cost, the second reason is so that nobody will link your actions while aiding me to your true identity. We wouldn't want a spiteful enemy to try to go after your family."
She nodded her head firmly as she made her declaration.
"Those are my conditions to accept your aid Cipher. Until our work is complete on Konats, or the Saiyajin invade Earth... Leave behind the Blue Banner Army and join me as a Guardian of Avalon, a proud member of the Chimera Federation."
She had to be sure, sure that nobody would try to stop her. An organization like SCAR's betrayal would be met with swift retribution, but to punish an indecisive friend was much harsher... No, she had to make sure he was able to go all the way, until the Saiyans threatened his home, or until her work on Konats was complete and her plans were set in motion she needed Cipher to make sure nobody would know about their activities.
"I wish it wouldn't be this way... but after that encounter... I do not believe Vivi and I share the same outlook for the future. I understand his reasoning, in the end all he is doing is for the sake of protecting Earth but his way of acting... Right now I feel he is steadily losing sight of what is truly important, and if he was to consider my actions a risk he would likely try to talk me out of it, or worse... stop me by force. That is why I want my actions to happen away from the prying eyes of the Blue Banner Army and the Saiyajin Empire. In the end for my dreams to succeed I need time for the Federation to grow. Only when the Federation has grown strong enough can I prevent this cycle of strife."

Cipher nodded. Nothing was ever simple in this universe, especially when it come to establishing an empire. "If the people of Konats have an issue, I will do my best to quell their fears." He wished he felt confident about that. After his failed diplomatic attempts in Arcose and Vegeta, would he be able to convince a whole planet to accept Reikiko as their kami? It wasn't really an issue of if he could or couldn't. He had to. It was as simple as that. He made a mental note to practice his negotiation skills while they were travelling there.
Then came Reikiko's conditions. He had to cut off all contact with the BBA while they were hear. He could see why, after affair on the moon, the BBA would try to intervene if word got out. While he didn't like the idea of having to hide from who he considered friends, this was a matter of importance. Vi-Poi wasn't the only key to Earth's survival. And if Reikiko's plan succeeded, it could lead to much greater things in the future. but there was one matter he had to point out. "If we do this, I cannot simply leave my family behind. Even if I keep the details of our mission secret, people will notice my absence, and I do not wish for them to get access to my family." He looked down, remember that time, long ago, when the mad majin Kamoda nearly killed Porsalynne. "I almost lost my family once. I wont let it happen again. I wish for them to accompany us. I assure you they will not get in the way. My daughter's actually quite a little techno-wiz. I'm sure she can be of some help to you." This was something Cipher wasn't going to debate on. He would keep his family safe, no matter what he had to do.
Cipher then knelt down before her, bowing his head. "I was a Guardian of Avalon before its destruction. To make up for my failure, I will assist you in this task."

"hmm..."
A short pause followed as Reikiko seemed to consider the matter. It was not like she didn't understand Cipher's feelings, in the end the android had his family, and she of all knew how important those feelings could be. Despite the momentary iciness of her expression it finally softened in a smile as she replied in an amused tone.
"Fine, just make sure to keep them out of troubles. The ship is large enough to hold them also, and I'm sure that Yuki will appreciate the company. However, if they leave the safety of the ship their security is your own responsibility."
She smiled briefly as the android knelt down, lowering a hand to his shoulder.
"It wasn't your failure, the destruction of Avalon is a failure we all share, a sin committed by my sister. Nevertheless about security... I plan to leave Hikari in care of the safety of our ship and its inhabitants. Not to mention, should she ascend to her highest power I would surely be able to notice if something was wrong. For the time being it might be good for you to know my other student will be joining us on Konats. It's that same little troublemaker you mentioned before, albeit by the time we get there... He will have changed."
She smiled sorrowfully as she explained her words.
"Our current situation is a reality where children can't remain innocent and carefree. Parents, friends, siblings... they lose so much as the result of conflict. That is why before this harsh reality reaches our daughters... I will change reality by force. Konats will be the seed of my paradise, and the galaxy will follow. Nevertheless, you should return to your home, tell your family and prepare. I will contact you before we depart."
She paused for a moment, waiting till Cipher would leave before she teasingly exclaimed.
"Tell your daughter I don't want explosions on my ship, and Porsalynne to wear something revealing, I'm sure it will brighten up the mood!"
And with those words and smirk on her lips she said her farewell.

Cipher was pleased to hear that his family could come. He didn't know just how long this enterprise could take, and leaving them alone, especially under the looming threat of another saiyan invasion, was something the android could not tolerate. He was a little surprised to hear that Etoru would come along, though not in a bad way. He knew the boy had gotten stronger, especially judging from their brief encounter on the moon. Having his strength around would prove useful. Not to mention, if the boy's actions were anything to go by, he really did need some friends around. Spending some time together would be good for the boy.
Rising to his feet, he gave Reikiko a bow. "I shall head home immediately and inform Porsalynne. We'll begin making plans for our departure. Don't worry. Nobody will know of our plans." he glanced over towards the door that Yuki had gone through, no doubt sleeping on the other side. "I think that future of our children playing together will come sooner than you think." Stepping outside of the cottage, Cipher lifted off the ground, preparing to fly away.
Then Reikiko's smart little remark almost caused him to stumble over in mid air...apparently that was possible. The android looked back, giving a light chuckle. "I'll keep that in mind," He was of course referring to the explosives. He was not letting his fiance be eye candy for Reikiko. She had Hikari for that after all. With a final wave, Cipher took off into the sky.
