Arias didn't care for class, she was usually always focused on fighting and getting stronger. However, taking that hit from Polar caused her power level to rise. She stayed asleep for now, thanks to her natural healing. She sneezed, waking herself up with a jolt and sitting up straight, bashing the back of her head on the canyon wall she swore aloud, holding her head.
"ARRGH, FUCK." She snapped, shaking her head to get the stars out of her eyes, and she looked around before noticing Polar. Where am I? What is that Arcosian planning.. is he plotting to kill me, and splatter everything I have all over the forest and laugh at my death? She thought to herself, getting ready in case he were to attack her.

Polar needn't even look to see she awoke. She made noise with every movement she made. If he wasn't before, he was now thoroughly convinced she wasn't a scout. Then what was she? He turned to face her, remembering her mentioning her parents being killed by Arcosians. Maybe it wasn't such the made-up sob story he thought. The desperation she showed confirmed it as well.
"You're awake."
He walked toward her and stopped nine feet away, looking her over. There were still bruises from his attack, but she looked to have recovered. He took out his scouter and placed it over his eye.
Incredible.
Her power increased by quite a bit. He had to surmise that it had something to do with healing.
So that's how you little monkeys get so powerful so quickly. You literally spit death in the face.
The Arcosian removed his scouter.
"I have a few questions for you," he said repeating his line from yesterday, but this time much more calmly. "You mentioned your parents...?"

Arias blinked, looking up at Polar, she didn't lower her guard. Why does he want to know this? Is it a plot to exploit me? "My parents were killed by Arcosians when I was younger, ones that looked similar to you. I watched helplessly as they were choked to death and their necks snapped."
Her voice had a tint to it that indicated this was a very touchy subject, and it made her upset to talk about it. Thus it had a growling undertone. What is he thinking? What is he going to do with me? I answered his question, now what? Is he just going to kill me? I have never met an Arcosian who didn't spill a Sayian's blood without mercy. What is he planning, it has to be something evil..

"Well, isn't that just prejudiced?" Polar retorted, "I didn't kill your parents. The truth is that I've spared more of your kind than I've killed."
...even though they deserved it, he finished in his mind.
"Why come to Earth of all places then? The denizens of this planet hate your kind for what you've done."

"Does it look like I had any idea what happened? No. I didn't." Arias retorted back, standing up and looking at her hand, opening and closing her palm. Hmmm, looks like that slap did some number on me, my power level's risen. Arias then looked up at him, narrowing her eyes. "Why?" She asked, obviously confused. Arcosians are supposed to hate and destroy, I thought Arcosians hated our kind. Why is he different?

Polar raised a brow. Was this girl really so out of touch? It was hard to believe, to say the least, but Polar gave her the benefit of the doubt.
"Your people built an empire payed for with the blood of others," he explained, "They wiped the entire Arcosian civilization off the map and tried their hand at Earth. Needless to say, their ambition did not come with foresight and their force fell apart. Even so, they left devastation in their wake."

Arias was slightly startled, but at the same time she knew she probably had that savageness in her veins. "I can believe what you have said. Some of us are stupid when it comes to choices and decision making. My plan is to fight, and get stronger. I won't let anything get in my way of becoming the legendary warrior, anything. I may be weak now but I will advance, until I reach that glorious power that currently evades my grasp. Then I will see who is laughing, and after that, I will do what I can to become the strongest warrior this galaxy has ever seen."
And you won't stand in my way either. I don't care how strong you are. She thought to herself. Her eyes burned with the lust for the power, but the reason why she wanted the power was also very obvious. She wanted to avenge her parents, and her family name. She watched Polar's body language, waiting for his next move.

"You want to be powerful?" Polar inquired, "I've learned that there is more than one way to be powerful. There's personal power, power in numbers, and power in knowledge."
He looked at the woman dead in the eye.
"If you want to be powerful, let me teach you what I know."

Arias looked at him, debating it in her head for a minute. He seems like he has powerful techniques he could possibly teach me. However, this could be a plot. I'll trust him for now but any funny business I'm going for his throat. She thought, then she made eye contact and nodded to Polar. "Teach me what you know. If you do not try anything funny, I will not. Seem fair?" She said, keeping a flat tone. Inside, she was bursting with curiosity.
Arias tried to keep her curiosity to a minimum. She watched Polar, looking right into his eyes despite the fact she may be shorter as she was only 5'4. She was a "tiny powerhouse" if you will, at least, for her rank.

“There is a catch,” Polar stated.
Polar certainly wasn’t doing this out of kindness, at least not entirely. The girl needed techniques to know, but the Arcosian also needed something--an ally.
“I will teach you what I know, but only if you help me.”

Arias narrowed her eyes, considering what Polar said. "What do you need help with, exactly. I want to know before I start making deals." She replied, her pupils slitted in suspicion. She waited for his response, wondering exactly what the Arcosian would need help with so badly that he asked a Sayianess for help.
What exactly is he plotting.. It must be something extremely big or he wouldn't ask someone like me. How do I know he is not lying or is trying to trick me. She remained slightly suspicious of Polar and his behavior.
