It had been a long day. He was just running about, looking for something to do really. This rock had not much real. Well. Civilization on it. It was just a rock. An annoying, useless, rock. And worst of all, he couldn't get off it. Hell, he couldn't even get off this island. Not flying was kind of annoying, he really needed to eat someone that could fly so he could learn how. His demeanor, needless to say, was not pleasant. Anytime he saw a rock he basically kicked it across the water as he searched the coast. It was terrible to think that this was supposed to be the go to place. Only to realize that, it was for trading certain things, not actually doing things. What a terrible place to go. There was nothing here. The people were scattered from what he could tell. And it was Namekians. Like snake people of sorts. Or maybe slugs. They were not pretty to say the least. He growled lightly to himself as he ran along the coast of the island, hoping to find some way off it. It didn't take much time for him to realize he already circled the whole island a few times. Finally, swimming time. "Stupid rock. No cities or roads or anything. Just rocks and grass and no-one in sight. Oh well, maybe another island will give me better luck." He looked out towards the horizon, noting another island a few miles off the coast. Good, it was a start. He soon jumped into the water and made an effort to swim. Only to remember, he didn't know how to swim, and proceeded to flail aimlessly in the water, going nowhere.
As he began to sink, cursing the planet mentally as he did, he felt a hand grab onto him and pull him out of the water and onto the shore. After a few minutes coughing out water out of....well, he didn't know what it was he used to breath. Or if he even breathed at all. He looked and saw a Namekian floating down to him. How ironic, his dinner managed to save him. A Flying slug too at that! The Namekian soon put his arm under and around Xeru's arms and shoulders to hoist him upward to stand on his feet. It was in this moment, his tail lunged out, and grabbed onto the Namekian's head. However, the stupid slug man had sharp reflexes and was using his hands to hold open his tail to prevent it from latching onto him. And that annoyed him greatly. "Stop fighting already, it will be quick and painless. Well, okay, it might take awhile. And it might hurt a litt.e Or a lot. Who knows, I've never been eaten before. Now that I think of it, I have no idea what you are going through so, continue to fight it. Not like you will win or get away or anything." He found one that could fly and that made Xeru very happy. Now the secrets of flight were close.

Some parts of Namek interested Hannibelle Evensong more than others, and yet there she sat by the shore. The beach always stayed beautiful, the Namekians didn't let it go like some other races did. After her interview that morning, the international pop star's to-do list included sleeping and getting a tan. All the crazed radio man wanted to talk to her about was the supposed romance between Belle and Harrison Jameson, a famous human actor and her best guy friend. One awkwardly angled paparazzi photo of an innocent cheek on the kiss made it look like they’d made out during his birthday party a few days ago. Sometimes going to a place without civilization felt like the right decision. The stress of the last few days began to fall away the moment she put her bag down on the sand.
Belle rolled her eyes when her phone rang. Everybody knew she went out for some her time, which she didn’t get much of to begin with, so who possibly thought it a good idea to bother her now? She checked the caller I.D. and frowned before slipping in her ear piece and hitting the button. “Tyler, what can I do for you?” She asked, her voice sweet as honey laced with arsenic.
“Hanni, sweetheart, good to hear your voice. You should call me more often.” Tyler Swyft, one of the two women who created Belle, sounded like she had all the time in the world. She probably did, too, which only irritated Belle, more.
Idly, Belle pulled her cotton-candy pink hair up into a ponytail and adjusted her dark, wrap around sunglasses. The white dress she wore over her blue skin and pink bikini felt soft as a cloud against her skin when she moved. “I’ve been busy. You would know,” she said with a sweetness in her voice she didn’t feel. “You’re the one who made my schedule, remember?”
A sudden scream sundered the very air around her and she flinched. “So I was thinking we’ll move your hair appointment down two hours and your nails up one, that should leave enough time-”
“Huh? Time for...Tyler, I gotta go, I’ll call you back.” Belle didn’t wait for an answer, just ended the call. Of all the days, the one where she didn’t have to be anywhere until her concert that night felt like the worst timing ever. Of course, that might be her bias showing. Something it really felt like too much to ask for a day off.
Another scream, echoed by the sounds of fighting and a second voice. She took off at a run, jumping over a short fence and landing expertly on the other side and rounded a corner, stopping short at the scene that confronted her. A Namekian fended off, somewhat inexpertly, a stranger, ferocious looking beast with spiky, dark purple hair with blue skin lighter than her own but not by much. That one look told her everything she needed to know: the strange, bio-android had attacked the Namekian.
“Why don’t you pick on someone your own size?” she said. A microphone materialized in her hand, the end elongating into a short sword.

He was getting ready to finish eating up his new friend. All this time now he could learn about flight and get off this island. And then, he was interrupted. By something new. Female it seemed. But what it was exactly left him confused. And it demanded he stopped. Pah, like that would happen. "Do you mind? I'm clearly in the middle of something here. And I'd love to keep talking but, it's really rude to talk and chew at the same time, ya know?" Xeru would say before he was suddenly interrupted by the sight of a sword. Out of....well....nowhere. And that. Was. Cool. And Xeru's attention shined and glued to it for a moment. "Say, how did you do that? That's like, a sword. Made of nothing. Did you have a secret compartment for it or something? Because that was pretty cool, not gonna lie." In that moment of admiring her really cool sword, his prey managed to slip out from...well...his grasp. And then, proceeded to fly away in terror. He blankly stared at it flying away, before proceeding to double take back and forth between him and the new girl, and then it suddenly hit him and he flailed on the ground.
"Wait, NO NO NO NO! Look what you made me do! All that thirty seconds of work gone! Gone! Wahhhhh, now I'll never learn how to fly. I'm so stupid! STUPID STUPID STUPID!" It was in this mighty tantrum that Xeru would fall to his knees and proceed to back the ground, making small cracks in it as he did so. In all senses of the word, he was throwing a fit. And a loud one as he proceeded to roll on the ground in faux agony now that his chances of flying where gone in the wind. Literally flying away from him, was his ability to learn how to fly. A bit of bittersweet agony as he then stood up, his posture gloomy and sad as he surrendered himself to the realization and proceeded to slowly sway back and forth in solemn defeat.

As Belle watched the horror show unfold before her eyes she took a step back when the thing realized his prey got away from him. Talk and chew? Didn't he realize that one could not simply wander around eating people at will? At least she'd provided enough of a distraction that the innocent Namekian got away. She'd only eaten one person, herself, and it had been in self defense. Well, she'd killed in self defense, the eating part had been quite the surprise. And then she'd killed again to stop an evil gang of Mazoku. This felt different, though, interfering with another bio-android (if that's what it was) feeding. Was this what she'd been like? Somehow she doubted it, the circumstances being completely different.
As it, he...whatever, began to have a fit, Belle's sword retracted and she said,"Yeah, I custom built the thing." Maybe if she distracted him enough she wouldn't have to fight him. Maybe she could help him or steer him on a better course. Perhaps she'd show him he didn't have to kill innocent bystanders. She, herself, hunted bad guys and if she ever felt the need to feed that way again, she'd use them and had in the past. How else does one get rid of the bodies when necessary?
"Hey, look," she said softly as he swayed back and forth. "You can't just go...eating innocent people, okay? Because then people like me or, worse, the police will stop you[." If the army or Galactic Patrol found him, he'd be done for, sent to prison for a long time or even forever and that would be that. He needed to learn control and Belle sympathized with that for better or worse.

"Ennn.....Ohhhhh.....Scent? What is that? Is that a color.....no, I at least know those....oh wait, a shade of a color! Is it a food? Candy maybe? Are they candy people? Nah, they don't taste anything like candy....uhhh....OH, we are in EHNOSCENT! But this is Maima? Maybe this island is EHNOSCENT! YES! THAT'S IT! Why can't I eat people of this island? Are they different? Full of bugs? Sick? Would I get sick if I ate them? Thank goodness you were here to stop me from eating them and getting sick....uhhh.....I forgot your name already. Mind me, my memory is fuzzy. Wait, why would you stop me or the police? What did I do to you or them? Are you one of those SSE that hate me and took my ship? It was my ship, mine, me and Kelthor are one so it's technically mine! Why does everyone hate me?!" At this, Xeru began to tremble with confusion and anger seeping through him. He couldn't understand why eating people made everyone hate him. What was he doing wrong? Lions ate rabbits and he ate people. There was nothing wrong with that, nothing! His shape soon began to unconsciously shift to the different forms of those he had eated earlier, Kanassan girl, Namekian, Saiyan, and Majin men. They kept rotating between these forms over and over as his aura began to spark slightly as his anger began to boil and bubble within him. Why did everyone hate him? why, why, why, WHY!
It was then he realized, she drew her sword to kill him. And his expression changed as he glared towards her in a sort of rage filled sorrow. "Stop me....SSE....you...police....You drew that sword....to kill...me? What did I do to deserve death? It's unnaturaly to kill without eating.....there is no reason for it....You were trying to kill me just because I'm built to eat others.....why....why.....WHY!!!!!" Xeru's eyes widened severely as he snapped as his ki began to overwhelm him. As it did, his natural energy eating abilities began to subconsciously eat the light around him in small amounts, creating momentary, blinking dark spots of darkness that would appear around him then shortly after be filled with light again. Then, he raised his hands upward and pointed them at his new enemy. So, this is what an enemy was. One who wanted to kill him just because they didn't like him. He didn't like her either, then. "I was only just born a short time ago....so I'm not going to just die before I've begun to even live.....You know nothing of what it's like, to be born with nothing. No memories. No knowledge. No Identity....no...me. Just a blank slate. And then, I accidentally eat someone and I understand so much more than I ever did....each person gives me knowledge, memories, abilities. They give me....ME! WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT NOT KNOWING WHO YOU ARE AND THE ONE WAY YOU FIND TO BECOME SOMEONE EVERYONE WANTS TO KILL YOU FOR? I WILL NOT GO BACK TO BEING AN EMPTY SHELL! NEVER! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE SO WHO ARE YOU TO HATE ME FOR SOMETHING I AM?" As Xeru's rage began to build, more rapidly appearing and reappearing black spots began to come forth around him as his fingers began to glow with a bright grey Ki as he began to charge an attack, as he charged it up, the light around it began to disappear. Forming a large cloud of darkness around each of his fingers.

The last thing Belle expected was to feel bad for this creature. She'd put the sword away ages ago, but now it came back out. As much as she didn't want to use it, this thing needed to learn innocent people were not food. "I'm not with the SSE, not even close," she said, her tone even as she tried to be reassuring. "And that Namekian, that's the type of person you were about to eat, he's innocent." Slowly, she began to channel her own Ki, a faint pink swirl of energy forming around her. "Those monkeys can go hang off trees, for all I care. I don't want to hurt you. No, I don't know what that's like and I'm sorry you do, but I'm not the enemy. I'm...I'm like you." Even now her stomach trembled, the mouth that hid inside hungry for her to consume something, someone, else. This fight brewing only made it worse.
After all this time, this was the first time she admitted it out loud. What she was, or could be, and this Xeru...he was a lesson of what not to do that she didn't take lightly.
Watching him change before her, grow stronger, made her take another step back just in case. She balanced her weight for the oncoming jump, watching, waiting, hoping not to have to fight him after all. "font color="fc5cef"]I know...you can't just go around eating anyone you want. You have to...think first. There are risks to killing another being. Yes, you want to eat them. No, you can't just eat them. You have to be smart about it[/font]." She couldn't believe she was giving this advice. If someone had told her a year ago she'd eat someone and then give advice about eating people to another Bio-Android she would have laughed straight in their face. And yet, there she was, giving that same advice, stuck with the memory of that first 'meal.'
One last time, she tried for reason, but reasoning with a beast never went as planned. Mindless, animalistic, she couldn't imagine what that must be like. "Come on, maybe we can find you a better meal - someone no one will miss, if you understand my meaning." Her Ki had gone from softly swirling around her to forming pink glitter in the air that moved and fell when she did, never sticking anywhere, just sticking around long enough to glitter and sparkle. Suppressing it was something she was working on but hadn't mastered yet. "We'll take a walk, look for a better choice." Honestly, she had no idea if she meant all this or not but right then talking him down seemed more important than anything else. If she didn't meant it or if she chickened out maybe she'd get the jump on him later if needed. "Please, I don't want to fight you, but I can't let you kill innocent people, either. Innocent means they did nothing wrong, nothing to deserve dying for. And you can be that way, too, doing the right thing instead of the easy thing. This feels easy right now, but it won't lead anywhere good."

Xeru glared towards her, trying to figure out exactly to think and how he was going to function, on the verge of completely breaking down, unsure of exactly what was going on or how to control his power or how he was feeling. Everything was so wrong right now, what was he? Who was he? Was he evil? Good? Why was it wrong to eat them and why is he so evil then if it is? Why was he made evil? He couldn't figure it out and flinched at the thought of it as he hardly closed his eyes. "I'm....evil? I'm a bad guy? This word they used......monster.....am I...a...monster? NO! I can't be a evil monster, I just can't be! I CAN'T I CAN'T I CAN'T! Why was I made to just be....a....monster....monster....monster.....monster....evil....I'm evil....and I don't know why I'm made this way....If I stop being evil, then I'll be....nothing....no me.....but only way to gain information, memories, personality is to...to be....a monster? I'm forced to be a monster to become real and not just a hollow shell.....I don't.....I don't....." Xeru said as his sadness and confusion became heavy in the air as tears streamed down his eyes. He couldn't figure out what he could possibly do or how to do it. The only way for him to become something was to eat others and be evil and bad. Yet, if he just stopped altogether, he'd be nothing. Empty. Just a void. He cringed hardly at the thought. His body physically suffering his mental pain as he growled to himself.
"I can't be a monster but I'm made a monster......I can't be me without being a monster.....like....me? How can you be.....You know who you are.....what your favorite foods are.......Things you think are fun and pretty. You weren't made being void of anything. I never knew who I was because I was.....nobody.....just a monster and they made sure I'd stay one by making the only memories and knowledge and life I gain.....is by taking others.....I'm just a monster, how can I fight against this and not lose myself in the process? " Xeru said as his attack continued to charge and as he got more confused and emotional, the darkness consuming got steadier and formed a large, black haze behind him that slowly grew bigger and larger. It's omimous presence making the situation all the more dreary as he couldn't understand what he had to do. How could he be good without being nothing? It was then that he turned his hands pointing away and fired his blasts at a nearby coastline, causing numerous blasts that would quickly black out the area as they sucked in the light as they exploded, creating a temporary night over the area for a few moments before the light returned to it. It was then that Xeru fell to his knees and screamed out in emotional agony. He pounded the ground a few times before looking up towards Belle with uncertainty. "I'm not made to be good. I'm just a monster. I have no choice, if I stop, I become blank again. I can't be good, I was built for evil.....evil.....I'm evil....evil....no good.....no good.....I.....I....don't know what to do..." Xeru contemplated the purpose of his existence, wondering how he could manage to exist if he would be forced to suffer no matter what? Why was he made? What is the reason for him being? And if he had no reason, then why exist? It was in that thought that he raised his clawed right hand to his left arm and dug his nails and fingers into it, before shortly ripping the arm off. "I'm nothing. Nobody with no purpose. So what's the point? You even said it yourself, people like you stop people like me, right? So, what are you waiting for? Slay the monster. If I stop being a monster I'll be blank and feel nothing anyway, might as well go full circle, right? It's funny. I already forgot your name. Not like it matters before my demise, right? Ha. At least now I get a choice, huh? Funny fact: First choice I get to make for myself is my last. Don't you think that's hilarious?" Xeru then tossed the arm to the side and chuckled to himself morbidly, waiting for her reaction and waiting for his solution.

“You didn’t forget my name,” she said, not without sympathy after he finished his rambling. “I never said it. It’s Belle.” Slowly, she took in a deep breath and let it out even slower. As she did, her energy dispersed, and she let go the charge. The way he turned his body told her he didn’t really want this fight, and she would not help anyone with a suicide mission no matter how badly she felt for them. There was always another way and she’d help this guy find one. “Take a deep breath and just try to relax, focus on your breathing...nice, slow and even…” she said, trying to guide him through letting the energy fizzle out rather than accidentally destroying something. “You don’t have to be a monster if you don’t want to be...I’ve learned that. There are other ways to learn things, too...you don’t have to consume to learn all the time. And you shouldn’t live as a slave to your hunger, either. You can master it...maybe I could teach you.”
Although she’d never taught before, how hard could it be? Thinking about all he must have gone through, everything he’d faced to become who or what he was today, made Belle sad and a little scared. If Tyler hadn’t been so good to her, she and Nature both, Belle could have been very different today. Perhaps not mindless or crazed or obsessed with chowing down on her fellow people, although that last was becoming a potential threat as it was, but she could have been made to be something else entirely. Programmed to be gorgeous, popular and talented, Belle looked on at this other Bio-Android and only felt a strange sense of sympathy and responsibility.
Step one: get him to calm down, release the energy in a non-destructive way, and they’d go from there. Baby steps, one at a time, until they came naturally as breathing.
What if Tyler and Nature had intentions far more ill than keeping their company and livelihood afloat? Creating a daughter that the married couple could never have physically was more of a side-effect, an afterthought to the process, a ‘happy accident,’ as it was. But if they’d had a different, more nefarious plan, Belle could have been completely and totally an evil, life-sucking jerk. Could she have gone the route of Xeru, crazed, making half sense in the things she said, trying to sort out the very basics of what it meant to be alive...right and wrong, simple words and sayings?
The thought sent a shiver down her spine, light as a feather and cold as a ghost, the only visible sign she’d been shook was the slight tremble of her left hand down at her side. The microphone was just that again, metal and plastic and wiring so she fit it into her purse, glad not to need it. All that took just a fraction of a second and then she was ‘back,’ back to her regular self, back to putting on a brave face because she needed to. If she let the world see who she really was, the sometimes she cried or got scared or just felt strange or sad or had days she didn’t want to go out at all, they’d find something in there to mock her with. So she remained their Pop Princess, their Pink Dragon, their on-screen idol and never really let them in...that way only led to madness and sweaty palms.

Xeru, as she suggested taking deep breaths, began to do just that. His however, were much louder and filled with shakiness, clearly a sign that he was not having the easiest time calming down, but it was a start. She told him he couldn't be a monster. That he could....choose. And with that thought in mind, a small look of salvation appeared in hs face. A glimmer of hope. "I can.....choose? You know how? I don't understand, I only know the way I've been doing things. The way I was made to do them. Why was I made to be a monster? Why make a monster?" He pondered the ideas he was thinking long and hard, unable to determine what he was and then, it hit him. Like the gun, a word went into his brain: weapon. He was meant....to be a weapon. Just that and that only and his expression got gloomy. "No....not a monster, I figured it out....a weapon....I was made to destroy.....that is my purpose. That is why I was made. It makes sense now. Heh, they didn't even give me an identity, just an operating label. Xenomorphic Elite Reaper Unit......I always knew that was my model name and that I'm the only one but....Belle was it? Belle me.....what do those words mean? What am I?" He asked the new woman in front of him carefully as residual energy still stayed in his hands, still unaware of how to control it or lower his power. Never quite learned that.
His brain was absorbing so much information and was getting confused as he searched his brain, unsure of how to fully gather and deal with this new information. He was a weapon. But then he realized something, he was built to be a weapon but, who was wielding him? When he was 'born', he was alone. Isolated and alone. And now that he figured this out, he got even more confused. "But....No one was there when I came out of maturation.....when you could say I was born....I was alone and yet, I was made but not looked after, or needed after I was born.....I was deserted and left alone and....this word.....I was.....forgotten. Did my maker forget me.....or did he intentionally leave me because I was a defect or....because I'm a monster? Will others do the same?" Xeru said as he looked at his other arm and chuckled to himself. He wondered what he was, who he was, why he was, and why he was left to fend for himself. He couldn't comprehend it all and simply shook his head.
"I don't know anything anymore. Please, tell me, what do I do? I don't want to live being hunted and hunting forever. I want to live, to really live. But, I'm nothing. Just a weapon, how can I be something else? Hell, I don't even have a name. And I really, for the first time, don't want to eat or kill you. But I don't even know how to control the power I have been given. The only things I know that are my own knowledge are my formation structure and Maturation time. Two thousand Years and Formation Namek Demon Ankoku. I only know one of those words, Namekian, is a race after I ate one. Are the other words also other things? What am I and how do I control me and my power?" At his wits end with the last bit of knowledge and questions in his brain, Xeru simply crouched and sat in confusion and agony, unsure of what to do. Or how to do it. He only knew to eat to become himself. How could he find himself in other ways? This was all too much to contemplate at once.
Just too much.

That look, the one that meant she reached something in him that could be reasoned with and made better, the one that spoke of seeing light in darkness - Belle knew that look well. “Yes, you can choose,” she said softly, her own heart plummeting with his as the bright hope left, replaced by gloom and sadness. The pop star could think of a few reasons, but didn’t like any of them, especially as the other reached the same conclusion. Yes, a weapon, it was the most likely answer to that question of ‘why.’ Why anyone was there, an age old question plaguing many, but did purpose of creation have to dictate who they became and what they did with the assets given to them? When he spoke of not having an identity and told her his operating label, she frowned, still in new waters herself in trying to help. “What do you want to be called, then?” she asked simply. “If you could pick any name, be whoever you wanted, what would you choose?” When he asked her name again, confirming it, she nodded and didn’t know what to saw to that other question.
But he spoke again, “Do you remember where you woke up? Maybe if we go there, we can get some answers...not tonight, I think we’ve had enough excitement for one evening. Why don’t you come back to town with me, I’ll get you a room at the hotel and we can get some dinner, food that the locals eat, I mean…” Personally, Namek’s food might have been the one thing that kept Belle from settling down there. Everything else lured her in but the lack of the food wasn't quite what she was used to. More variation, more flavor, those would be nice. At least they served food and had restaurants in some places. Since Namekians didn't need to eat, that could have been a concern but they'd learned to make money off of off-worlders. "The others...are different types of people," she added as he asked about the three races he clearly was made from. "I'm guessing those are the genes that run through your DNA."
He had so many questions Belle didn’t know how to answer yet. Really, she thought he needed some time getting to know himself, being in a non-hostile environment, and general practice being around people. The would come later, though, that last part. Here, at the site of a botched attempt at murder, probably wasn’t the place to be having this conversation. They needed somewhere more private, less out in the open. When she found him hurting that Namekian she stopped him for several reasons. To kill was a strange, powerful thing, and killing for the sake of killing was wrong. She’d killed once, in self defense, and the rush from that coursed through her like adrenaline and alcohol all at once, A high she never experienced before or since and sometimes she wanted to, really wanted to, but Belle refused to cross that line from ‘reasonable’ to outright murder.

Xeru was filled with many emotions, sorrow being the most pronounced. As he sat there, wallowing in his own thoughts, she brought up something he never consider. He could name himself? He sat up for a moment, at first as if he found a light of hope, before pondering more and realizing his name isn't so simple and he grumbled to himself again. "My....name? I am not sure what it could be. So many names in my head. I am all these people, I can feel them. It's why I can become them so....easily. The way they talk, their personalities....their Ki....the way they think....I am me....but also....I am them....do you know what that's like, to always feel someone else inside you?" Xeru asked Belle with a newfound confusion. All their names were burned in his brain, he knew everything about them and yet, nothing about himself. It was an infuriating irony.
Xeru paced in his mind a few times, holding up his hand that still was holding energy. No longer charging for awhile now but he still didn't know how to release it without blowing something up. He stood up and pondered, his pacing mind now making his body pace. "I....was born on Konats.....in a bunker or lab underground....several miles with only one access point. I uhhh.....Wait, other types of people? I'm made out of other people.....I understand Namekian....Once I ate one I learned I had this trait like them." Xeru said as suddenly, he focused his energy before suddenly, where his arm used to be, another arm erupted, now covered in slime and bodily fluids that quickly evaporated. He stretched it out a bit, noting it was sore. Probably a side effect of instant arm making. The energy in his arm soon expired however and he dropped to the ground, exhausted. His earlier attack against nothing and his new arm and pshing himself made him weak. "What are Ankoku and Demons though? Why was I made from them? What purpose....wait, a weapon. I was made with parts for combat and killing. Regeneration to make me harder to kill. And I guess Demon and Ankoku parts for some other killing ability. I was built to kill or be harder to kill. Funny huh? I'm just a killing machine. And Hotel, not sure what that is but sure, why not. Maybe I can eat without using my tail for once, haha."
Xeru said as he tried to stand up, only to shakily fall to the ground. Regenerating his arm took a lot out of him and it looked like for a short while, he'd be a little extra light on his feet. He looked up towards Belle, dark sweat beading off his face as he struggled to stay up and slowly fored himself back to his feet. His legs shaking the entire time as he did. He didn't exactly look steady to say the least. But if they were going to leave, he had to walk. He couldn't fly. He stared at his other, ripped away arm and chuckled slightly before shaking his head as his body began to lose him once more as he started to fall face first to the ground.

When he ripped off his arm earlier, she’d been so distracted by everything else going on it barely registered. She’d notice soon enough, though, as he began to ramble on again about not knowing who he was. And then he asked that one soul deep question and she bit her bottom lip just a little, tucking it between her set of pearly whites. “Yes,” she said, thinking of Annie and as if just thinking of the woman brought her to the surface. All her thoughts and memories, Belle’s to rifle through, it felt wrong and terrible and powerful all at the same time. Taking the letter of his unit name she said, “Why not call yourself Xeru? Unless you’d rather cut all ties…”
He told her about the lab and the idea of exploring, of finding answers, died down just a little. Not completely, but enough that she knew they wouldn’t be able to go any time soon. And then he spoke of his arm and she finally had to look, taking a step back as it regrew. Gross. She’d never seen a Namekian regrow a limb before although she knew it was possible. Having always been a good actress, none of that showed on her face as he wondered aloud more about his purpose. “Ankoku…” she thought, and then pulled up an image of one on her data pad to show him. “Demons are different, they’re all different from each other, but they’re…” she pulled up information on Demons, too, and let him hold the datapad she used mostly for work.
When he seemed in no shape to walk anywhere she said, “I’ll be right back,” and ran back to the site she’d been writing in and grabbed her things. Taking out a second datapad she used mostly for being social she said, “Just wait, I think I have a better way of getting there.” She might not be able to fly, but she could definitely call them a hover taxi.
Thread Exit for Belle. Let me know what you want, Xeru, and I’ll post in T2G?
