The moment Arynx’s music stopped, Core would sigh if satisfaction and look over to the monster that was going to obviously attack them, he finally could do something to help them without exploding his hearing that was certainly putted in danger everything he could hear something from Arynx’s guitar, though apparently, his voice, no matter how loud he was yelling, didn’t looked like it was hurting him, which was satisfying since another moment like this and he would probably be driven insane right now. [ I’ll have to make sure to say away from this dude… it may just be me, but damn this music is dangerous…] Core would think to himself.
When Core mentioned his concerned about Alexander, he noticed that he wasn’t the only one, even the purple guy did cared about the human, maybe he wasn’t all that bad after all, but it was true that he was looking in pain and struggling more than anyone there. Core would nod as he heard clearly that he didn’t needed help and would turn his gave to the minotaur, everyone was launching an attack and he wasn’t going to just look at them do all the job. His eyes would suddenly glow in a burning-red light as he would charge one of his ki-move.
Then, something surprised Core even more than everything else, was the surprisingly competent Jax, also known as the creepy guy dressed in purple. As Kay-El asked for a diversion, he was the first one to jump in the action, but something was making Core question himself, why did Kay accepted this guy to be the bait when with him, it was too dangerous? This guy clearly had more change of getting kill, though Core was going to make sure nothing was happening to him, after all, he wasn’t all that bad if he did what he just did without a second though.
Core’s eyes then released their power he was building up into them, a big joined ray between the two eyes suddenly busted out and when colliding with the Minotaur and burned a lot of his furr and even the hide under it, his attack was really strong, and with all their combined attack, the beast was vanquish in a matter of second, it had no chance at all to begin with if you ask Core. ‘’ Well! That was easier than expected!’’ Core would say, looking around to see if everyone was okay and still here.
Core’s attention would be then drawn to the body that emerged from the beast’s corpse, a human body, or human looking to say the least. ‘’ W-what? A human? Can they all do that?’’ Core would simply ask, looking around to see if anyone had the answer, though the only voice he heard then was Kay-El’s voice saying that they couldn’t get him back to the town. ‘’ You’re right, I’m going to pick him up.’’ The young Arcosian would say before he jumped toward the body and picked up the man, carrying him on his back as he came back to the group. ‘’ So, we’re going right?’’
( I’m with Kay-El, we can wrap this up here and start another, since it will became a different story, the ‘’minotaurus’’ part is defivitively over, if so, I’ll take PL+ Heavy weights )

Arynx watched as his allies followed his suggestion without hesitation. Each of them launched their own unique attacks, and the mouth of the cave came crashing down on top of the beast. This was certainly a triumph for teamwork, and certainly another victory for rock and roll. Eat shit, Hannibelle Evensong, with your bubbly attitude and shallow charities. You probably haven't been in a real fight in your entire life. All the cardio kickboxing classes and instructional yoga videos in the universe couldn't prepare you for the chaos of a fight like this.
Rock. On.
It wasn't until Core was already tending to the human that Arynx noticed the transformation. He raised an eyebrow, slinging his guitar back over his shoulder. As Core carried the apparently unfortunate victim away, Arynx had to feel a little bad. He'd apparently caused the kid a fair amount of pain. Arynx would send him a signed headshot to make up for it.
"What could cause something like this?" he wondered aloud, "I mean I've heard about shapeshifting, but this seems different..."
He followed Kay and Core, heading back to town for glory and laurels and more of that delicious Sweetwater. ------------------------------------------ Thread exit, PL please!

There was a veritable storm of energy that approached the minotaur just then. It seemed like just about everyone was ready to add into the victory, which Alexander supposed was fair. He had managed to strike the first blow with the rockfall, but then Jax had leapt in, dodging around the cave in, all while aiming to deliver an attack of his own to the beast. Despite the man's rather...awkward social nature, he seemed to do rather well in combat which was not something that Alex would have picked up on, given how clumsy he seemed to be in his more lackadaisical times. He wondered how much of what Jax did was an act in an attempt to be someone that others could relate to, or if he truly was just that far off of normalcy.
His gaze flickered to Kay as the girl floated up to the air, and once more, Alexander felt an odd form of envy, here. He could not fly like the others could. Even with the addition of the Void into his repertoire, he still could not take off the ground, leaving him completely bound to the Earth, which was something that frustrated him immensely. Still, he couldn't deny that whatever she was doing...it was interesting. It was as if she were singing to the beast, but rather than singing something soothing to calm it or anything of the sort, it felt like she was composing an elegy for its impending demise.
Alexander watched her for a moment, not entirely certain what she was doing to the creature but he could hear it roaring out in pain due to the attacks, and he wondered just what was happening to the beast. He could sense, through the Void, that she was definitely pushing something down toward it, but he wasn't sure what. He watched her with some curiosity, and he made a mental note to speak with her about that in the future, perhaps after they were done with this beast. He wasn't overly familiar with all of the different styles of ki use, but that was definitely something he'd not seen before.
The Arcosian was the next one to attack, and he used something that was definitely more traditional, as far as Alex's knowledge went. A pair of eye beams seemed to strike the final blow as the beast collapsed under the heap of rocks. He gave a small nod of approval to those gathered as they vanquished the creature, leaving it simply buried in the rubble. With a small sigh, he let his aura fade, the pain and tattoo fading from his right forearm as he did so. The power of the Void left him, and he gave a small exhale as he felt slightly weakened after that.
It wasn't until Arynx spoke that Alexander realized that something had happened with the minotaur. He gave a small sound as he moved forward toward the man, not really all that afraid of what the fellow was, now. At Core's question, Alex shook his head. “No. That sounds like something else was affecting him,” he murmured, watching as Core lifted the man's body, and Alex gave a small smirk as he watched the small Arcosian easily hefting the larger male. “I think this bears further investigation,” he spoke, glancing to the others. He didn't know if anyone else was willing...but he was. This was quite...curious.

Exit Thread, PL as well with Heavy Weights I wouldn't mind continuing this storyline- it's interesting.

He had done it. Somehow, someway, he had successfully defeated the beast. Sure, he had the help of others, and without them he wouldn't of been able to finish off the monster. But still he had helped. That's was more a lot then he what he usually did, and the fact he had actually accomplished something overwhelmed him with a deep feeling of satisfaction, as if he was actually content with how a fight ended for himself once. With the energy sphere successfully thrown at the minotaur, Jax landed on the ground, dodging a few pieces of the stone that fell down. Facing the others, he threw two hands up into the air, as he began to celebrate their victory.
"We did it! We did it, guys, go us! THE MONSTER SLAYERZ!"
Mid-way through his dance consisting of pelvis thrusting to both of his sides and pretending to ride the remains of the creature, it suddenly disappeared, in it's place instead the unconscious body of a human man.
"WHOO-HOO! UH-HUH! GO...oh. Well that was unexpected..."
Jumping off of the man immediately, and step-siding the Arcosian who had come to pick up the shape-shifter, Jax tried to piece together what had happened. It seemed however, that once again, he was in a position where he had utterly no idea what was going on or what was happening. The teen suggested that something was at work with the man, and it required further looking into. The girl suggested that for now, however, they go back to the town, and Jax had to agree. Nodding to them both, Jax put a thumbs up, with his tongue hanging out for added effect. Added effect for what he wasn't sure, but it was there, nevertheless.
"That all sounds good to me. Let's blow this popsicle stand y'all."
Noticing how the others were already departing, he gathered himself and took off into the air, heading back with the rag-tag group of monster hunters. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Let's wrap this baby up.

The fact that a human lay there unsettled Kay and she shook her head at Core's question ‘no.’ “Not usually,” she said and softly agreed with Alex, watching as Core picked the guy up like it was nothing. And it probably was nothing for someone like Core to handle a corpse. While not the first dead body the hybrid ever saw, she’d certainly spent the most time with this one already and had more of a hand in its demise. And the other statement plagued her: it had been easier than expected, too easy. Were there more humans that could turn into Minotaurs either at will or forced? The thought of the latter made a chill run down her spine.
Coming to, she headed back down the path towards town with the others and nodded at what Arynx said, not responding verbally. Besides, everyone else seemed so deep in thought and just as confused as she was. If they’d gone into that cavern would they have found more of those missing people? Some inner sense told her that no, they wouldn’t have, all they’d have found was cave… Stone, rock, bugs, bats and whatever else lived down there. Or had they all been scared off by the Minotaur?
Alex seemed to calm down, too, the tattoos fading or whatever those were. She made a mental note to ask some day or even do her own research, but now wasn’t the time or place. Jax cheered and Nana walked somberly back with them with her lilting gait, her well-used cane in her hand. “Alex is right, we should look into this. People don’t turn into Minotaurs every day, right?”
At least Jax’s good mood was infectious and she flew through the air alongside, doing flips and trying to brighten the mood to match the day. Hey, even the sun seemed to come out from the clouds as they made their way back through the winding forest trail.
Thread exit...I’ll go post in T2G!
