“Wake up, prince! Training day today!” Tourit, practically falling out of his bed, got up and stretched. “Right, right, I know.” Tourit said. “So what will we be doing today, Takifugu? Defensive training, a spar with swords-”
“We will be training with some of the soldiers today. Some of them requested to train with you personally.”
“Ah. Alright then. Lead the way.” Flying outside one of the windows and following Takifugu, the royal guard pointed to a small barracks. Descending down to it and opening one of the huge doors, Tourit looked inside and saw a couple dozen soldiers. They all looked up and immediately gave a salute as one of the soldiers called them to attention. As Tourit entered the barracks, he thought of what to do to help train these men. He quickly thought of something though. “Alright, soldiers. I heard some of you wanted to train with me personally, so follow me to outside the walls, we’re going to start out with a heavy sprint. “Yes sir!” All the soldiers responded in unison.
Upon reaching the outside of the walls, Tourit got into a sprinting position. “Ready men?” Once again the soldiers responded in unison, “Yes, sir!”
“Alright, then go!” Sprinting as fast as he could, he left all his men in the dust. “H-how are we supposed to keep up with that?” One of the soldiers asked. The men then hurried to try to catch up to the prince. Tourit looked back and saw that his men were struggling to keep up. He decided to slow down and let them catch up a little. After about half an hour, Tourit stopped and let the soldiers catch their breath. Tourit, to be quite frank, was a little disappointed in some of the more exhausted soldiers. “Come on, guys! I know you can do better than that!” One of the soldiers, a shorter man with very short black hair, spoke up. “Sorry sir, it's hard to keep up with you! You do have royal blood and are naturally better than us!” This made Tourit even more disappointed. “Soldier, we are all born on Tayona as demons. Each and every one of us starts out the same, it's the amount of effort you put in that defines you. “Right! Sorry sir!” Tourit realized that he had grown much stronger in his time on Earth. “Hey, which one of you considerers yourself the strongest?” He asked. “What? In this group or in the whole army, sir?” The same short man from before asked. “This group, I suppose.” One of the men in the back, a taller, more muscular looking guy with a short blonde mohawk stepped up. Tourit recognized him as the one who was at the front of the pack when running. “That would be me, sir.” He said firmly. “Alright. What's your name?” Tourit asked. “I’m Bas.” He replied. “Right then. Bas, hit me as hard as you can.”
“S-sir? Are you sure?” Bas asked in shock.
“Yea. And don’t hold back.”
“O-okay, if you insist.” Bas reeled back and hit Tourit as hard as he could right in the stomach. But Tourit barely even felt it hit him. “I said don’t hold back!” He yelled. Bas then had his eyes start glowing red as he activated his demonic will and yelled, hitting Tourit once again. But once again, Tourit didn’t feel it. “S-sir, I’m sorry but that was the strongest I had.”
“Interesting.” Tourit said. “Right then, you all can go.” He said. “Have I really become this strong?” He thought to himself.
