[Thread PL: 16]
Oriki ran through Namek's fields. The tall grass brushed against his stomach, slowing his movement a bit. Instead of running, he was trudging through. He met a large mountain that had multiple rocky edges sticking out. Great climbing spots. Oriki jumped up and grappled onto one of the rocks. He pushed his foot up, climbing up the mountain. As he got onto the top of the cliff, he saw a lone tree slumped over, it's blue leaves dangling over the grass. It was quite a small mountain peak.
He ran over to the other ledge and knelt down. He scanned the horizon. There he saw a lone figure. The Namekian fields really did stretch out for a while. From when he encountered Pae the Namekian, he knew not to just approach aliens… But from when he encountered the Namekian villagers, he knew they were quite friendly. Oriki pulled out his binoculars from his rucksack, them being tattered and almost broken. He zoomed in, there being smudges on the glass.
The figure had two antennae. It was most likely a Namekian. Oriki climbed down from the mountain. He started walking toward the Namekian at a slow pace. His gear clunked, making quite a loud noise. He needed to make sure the Namekian didn't think he was hostile. That was the last thing he needed, another alien attacking him. If he wanted this Namekian to teach him ki, he had to make smart moves.
Smart moves like… not insulting the alien, or showing strange, hostile body language. He could in fact make a friend for life if he played his cards right.

Gulls had just finished his week of training off and just got a large sum of money from the jobs that he did in that spare time. He was currently going to go back to his home where he would rest before going out to the humans so that he could buy the rumoured Heavy Weights. He looked at the bag of money and swayed it back and fro, allowing his body to tilt in the way the bag of coins was moving. It would be fairly heavy if it was being carried by a normal person but he could carry the brown bag with ease. The base had a golden tainted ribbon wrapped around the top with a tightening system to stop the money from pouring out and him losing all his money earned through this week.
He was walking along a different path from his usual one and he was near a fairly large mountain to the left of him. He was hoping that no one would interrupt him but then he realised that whenever he thought that one thought, something would always come. Be it at Cat falling from the sky or a frog intruding on his training, something always happened to him when he didn’t want it to. He however kept on walking along the path, he was unable to sense Ki at the time being so he was not aware that someone was actually climbing up the mountain to the left of him as well as looking at him. He was currently silent and not really doing except think about how good these heavy weights would be. If they didn’t do much he’d make his own by sticking a bunch of heavy things to his clothes and hoping that would somehow increase the amount of reward he would get from the intense training.

Oriki was carefully crouching, walking slowly behind the Namekian. The young man didn’t know that aliens could sense the power level of other beings. It was quite fascinating. Oriki knew Namekians were friendly, just not all of them. Especially the one the elders told Oriki about. His name was Xylo, and he’d recently attacked the capital. He apparently had an extremely high power level, and he was someone that Oriki didn’t want to tango with.
Oriki gently raised himself up to standing position, and took a deep breath. The last thing he needed was another fight. He’d been beaten quite badly in the one with the Namekian Pae. Oriki postured himself so that his back was straight and he seemed like a real gentlemen.
“Hello, Namekian.” Oriki flinched, scared that the Namekian would hit him.
“I am from the planet Earth, coming to find someone to teach me how to use the thing you call ‘ki’.” Oriki realised that what he was saying was extremely cringey. The Namekian – from behind – was wearing a yellow cape with a green martial arts gi. It had a strange symbol – probably something to represent power within the Namekian race. The Namekian was holding something. It looked like a brown bag, and was probably bustling with zeni. The Namekian was also wearing a red bandana around its neck.
“I’m a peaceful creature, I do not mean any harm.” The young man chuckled.
“The last time I met a Namekian, he knocked me around senseless.” Oriki looked to the floor.
“He was probably just trying to protect his people though; with the capital being attacked and all.” Oriki looked back at the Namekian, his emotion being happy.
“I lived in a village for quite some time – the people there were real friendly.”
Oriki’s body language showed that he was quite on guard. His fists weren’t clenched, but his posture suggested something else.

Gulls stared at the new stranger with a quite curious glare. He wondered what the hell this guys wanted as he then heard the small human from Earth say Hello to him, the ‘Namekian’. Then he flinched as if he had some awful condition that made him so shy that he flinched at everything he saw. ”Ah…Hello?” He said with his head slightly tilted and his eye brows crooked as he continued to look at the small human. He was about to asked again what he wanted but then the question was already answered so he decided to listen.
It seemed that everyone wanted something from Gulls now as this completely different person had asked Gulls to teach him how to use his Ki. With a slight hum he shook he head and kept walking along the path to where he was going. ”Nah, I got stuff to do. Too busy to teach some human that can’t even do much at all.” Gulls didn’t know but he was pretty sure that he was stronger than the mere Human. He was quite a bit taller than him so that was probably manipulating his mind a tiny bit but he still sensed that he was stronger.
”I could maybe teach you if you did something cool or if you annoyed me enough. But be warned, that person that beat you, was probably a lot nicer than me. So if you annoy me too much, I’ll beat you too.” He smiled while he was turned away because in reality he didn’t actually want to go to the shop just yet. Even though he wanted nothing more than power he didn’t really trust humans so the he didn’t trust the Heavy Weights that they sold either. He also kind of wanted to teach this human how to use Ki because it was him, himself that taught him how to use his Ki before anyone else in his class knew how.
