"Alright everyone, move it! Don't keep the king waiting or you'll be sorry!" A loud voice awoke the young Saiyan from his slumber. Opening his eyes, Yuken looked around at the other groggy Saiyans around him, all in brown hammocks like his. The smell of various bodily fluids and moldy food greeted the child as he became fully aware of his surroundings. The metallic walls of the ship's lowest cabin echoed the sounds of groggy Saiyans as they too awakened and turned their attention to Borage, one of the head officers in charge of the Saiyan king's security detail.
"Alright everyone, listen up for your duties! Once we arrive on Earth, I don't want any trouble so all of you maggots will be staying on the ship and making sure it's so spotless, I can see my face in every corner of it! Now then, listen up for your duties..." As the tween Saiyan went on giving out commands, reading from a clipboard as he walked, Yuken bega to think back on how he had gotten to where he was.
A Saiyan was forced to take jobs in cleaning because of one of two reasons: 1) Their power level was near pathetic or 2) their family name was such mud that not even the meat-packaging factories would take them. Yuken fell into the latter category, the boy forced to do the work of both himself and his drunkard of a father. His well-known heritage of being only half-Saiyan earned him a rather embarrassing position.
"Yuken," Borage said loudly, arriving at the boy's bunk and snapping him to attention. Smirking, the Saiyan continued walking as he said, "You're doing the usual today... try not to forget your 'equipment'." Producing a chalice from seemingly nowhere, the Saiyan threw the cup over his shoulder and directly into the boy's waiting hands. Looking down as the cabin became filled with laughter, Yuken's grip on the gold chalice became ever tighter, threatening to break it yet somehow he managed to restrain himself.
After several hours had passed, Yuken, in uniform, stood alongside the Saiyan King's guards and the royal monarch himself as they awaited for the mechanical door before them to open. The numerous warriors alongside the king all had their game faces on, everyone wanting to make sure the Earthlings knew the Saiyans were here strictly for business.
When the hatch at last opened, Yuken was greeted with a light far brighter than he could ever remember seeing. Once his eyes adjusted the light, the boy couldn't help but gawk at the bright colors of Earth and the innumerable flying vehicles moving about the city. This new land was far more peaceful than the warzones he was used to accompanying the king on but more than that, the planet seemed to call to him... promise him something grand!
Drawn back into the world, Yuken moved with the other Saiyans as their king went to greet some dignitaries, the boy not knowing what kind of adventure he was in for.
