Paengi rested on the soft plains, his eyes closed. His mind was a blank slate, his meditation locking everything out. He was a warrior caste member. He felt his Ki curled up inside of his body, the silver life energy powerful and unweilding. A smile curled onto his lips, the wind rustling around the namekian. This was peace. He could sit here for centuries, body unturned. But he couldn’t. Supposedly Namek could be in great danger soon. Powerful warriors on earth had found their version of the dragon balls, and had seen a planet and it’s people come back to life. If they had simply found out the power, no one could’ve cared or known about the mystical orange spheres. But surely it was widespread news by now. Out of nowhere, debris pulled itself together and became a planet. Thousands of souls walked in their bodies again, and with the only explanation being the dragon balls. He was told to train, to train hard. According to Samuka, Paengi was one of the best warrior caste, the strongest, and would need to become even more powerful. But what if he didn’t want power? Power- power had corrupted him. He couldn’t allow something foolish like that to happen again. He refused to train, to try and become stronger. If he became like he was before again, that would be no help to Namek. Instead he would defend Namek in his current state. If Samuka claimed he was one of the best, he could do it, right? It didn’t matter if Paengi couldn’t defend Namek- the leader had said one of the best. That meant there were stronger warriors than him, didn’t it?
Paengi’s eyes opened, his worries ruining his meditational state. He slowly stood up, looking about him. The plains were a peaceful place, usually perfect for the warrior clan members to meditate.

Rock landed in what the locals called the 'Quiet Plains', following the signal of the power level his scouter had picked up. As far as he could tell it was the strongest of any of the warriors he'd seen so far, perhaps not counting whoever was warrior clan leader. Really he didn't know why he was so calm looking for who was known to be the 'best' warrior caste had to offer. He had received very little information regarding him as well. But if this warrior was part of the community, the Shanite didn't see why he would have any trouble with him. After an assessment of the area, he turned to fly towards where the pinpointed reading was, looking down at the Namekian warrior below him. "Hey there." He called out as he descended, landing on the ground near Paengi .

Paengi looked around him, the cool air calming his worries. Right now, it didn’t matter who was the strongest. He was simply relaxing in the quiet plains. A faint smile appeared when suddenly a namekian landed in front. Paengi studied him, wondering who it was. It was someone he had never seen before, a muddy brown namekian. An odd sight. What made it even odder was the visor on his head- the technology looked stark against the namekian, the magical creatures not meant to be mixed with electronics such as this. Whoever it was, they weren’t a standard namekian. As he looked him over, it definitely appeared that they were no regular citizen namekian. He had a different clothing on, and seemed very fit. He didn’t even consider the dragon clan a possibility, but figured he must be a warrior clan member. If he was a warrior caste, it was the first Paengi had seen of him. He knew quite a few of the warriors, attempting to figure it out. Maybe he was a new recruit, or even one of the ones that Samuka said was more powerful than Paengi.
The odd namekian than greeted Paengi, looking at him. Paengi stood still for a moment, gazing at the other green man. Even if this was a warrior clan member, the skin color was very odd. He didn’t know how it could have happened naturally. It must be a mutation as the only other way he could think it possible is if he was from namekians that lived somewhere else, and he knew that wasn't true. ”Greetings,” the warrior namekian offered the oddly tinted namekian.

A gust of wind billowed through the area, blowing the sash the held the Shanite's family crest. The Shanite Namekian stayed where he was, though observed the armor and other attire of the Namekian in front of him. "You seem a bit on edge...?"
He looked behind him, then towards Paengi, "I'm... new here. My name is Rock, Son of Shan, from the planet bearing his name." The Shanite introduced himself, crossing his arms as he observed the Namekian warrior. "I was told by the elders that you are a warrior? I admit though I didn't catch your name..."
A pause.
"Yesterday there was a worm attack not too far from the Village." He explains, "Though I don't know why they wanted me to come tell you this." Rock shrugged. "Your... warrior caste. Say, why weren't you in the village?" He asks with a bit of an accusatory tone, pointing at him in a lazy manner. "You coulda cleaned up that worm pretty easily, I bet." The same finger was lifted to the scouter he wore, he pressed it and watched as the reading calculated the other's power level. "Where were you then? Out here meditating? That's pretty useful." His voice held a certain even tone, though it was difficult to tell if he was berating him or just making commentary.

Paengi stood there, watching as wind carried an odd sash on the namekian. He watched as the mysterious visitor then began talking, saying he felt he was on edge. Paengi looked at him, wanting to trust him but feeling something was off. This definitely wasn’t a regular namekian- it all felt off. He thought back to the horror stories of his childhood, a third clan of namekians. They were pure evil, some corrupted version of the green peace loving people of his planet. Many rumors surrounded their existence- they had simply grown bored and rebelled against their fellow citizens, killing all they could. Others said they weren’t real namekians, that demons had split the necks of namekian warrior clan members, pouring their own demonic essence into the wound causing an egg to be created baring an evil namekian, hence the name Demon Clan. Of course, many said it originated more closely to namekians. That their own shadows had came to life, attempting to kill their original namekian, or that the corruptness of a powerful namekian had made the evilness become its own life.
”I am on edge… yes. You do not need to know my worries, but maybe you will convince me,’ he told the namekian. Suddenly the namekian- no not even a namekian!- told him the truth about his origins. This was no namekian, this was an alien! He claimed to be from some planet, this outsider named Rock. Paengi’s fists curled, anger rising in him. He could never trust an alien, powerful denizens from space who threatened his planet. He wanted to do something now, his instincts screaming at him to attack this foe. No aliens were ever good for this planet, he knew this for sure. A red floating figure flashed in his mind, and his body almost began to shake with the lust to attack. But- this was no normal alien. Almost everything about this person screamed namekian- not alien. The color was odd, he looked different but he had to be a namekian, didn’t he? He tried to calm himself down, his natural affinity for fellow namekians fighting his hatred of aliens. He sighed, knowing above all he was a warrior clan member and it was his duty to protect namek and its citizens. He looked back, as the man told him how the elders had told him that Paengi was a warrior caste namekian. He nodded, trying to hide his past anger at this point. If the elders had accepted him, then he guessed that Rock must not be so bad. ”I am indeed a warrior clan member, by the name of Paengi.’
Suddenly Rock started talking, mentioning some worm creature in the village that the elders wanted to tell him about. However, the tone turned sour quickly. The namekian seemed to be accusing him of not being there to protect the village, when he could have taken the worm easily. Paengi frowned, confused at the statement. Did he expect him to be everywhere? He looked at him, a fierce expression in his eyes. ”What do you think of me? I am but a single warrior caste member. I am not the strongest in anyway, I am not in charge of every village. I do thank you however for telling me this info, for I can make sure none others are in the area. Now, was your trip out here just to tell me that or was there more to it?” he asked.

Rock tilted his head at the warrior as they seemed to assess him, the Shanite wondered just what the other Namekian was thinking of. At Paengi's defensive tone, and fierce eyes, Rock raised a brow at the Warrior, crossing his arms. "Whoa. A bit touchy, neh?" He shook his head at Paengi. To the last question the namekian did not reply, "Say, you didn't ask if it was killed." Rock giving him a look of scrutiny, "You must have a lot of faith in the rest of your Caste, neh? Now that I mention it, you didn't ask if anyone was hurt either... Hmm..." Again his tone was questionable, "Anyway Pongo, I suppose its a pleasure." He turned his back to Paengi then, waving his hand casually as he set to leave.

Paengi listened as the namekian seemed to think that Paengi didn’t care about it. ”Listen, you seem to think I’m the warrior caste leader or something. If I was needed, I would have been told about it. There have been no reports, and other warrior caste are in that area. Now if that’s all you have to say-” he said stopping. ”No. Before you go, tell me about the planet you come from? Does that mean you’re still a namekian? There have been many Mazoku reports lately, and I need to know if you intend to work with them. What are your intentions for coming here?”[/b[

Rock shook his head and frowned, "I guess that's my bad then." Holding out his hands to his sides. "Here I was led to believe that you home-worlders live in some sort of harmony. Watching each others backs, that sort of thing." He shrugged, crossing his arms at the other warrior. "I guess I was wrong."
He turned, but paused for a moment, looking at him. "Wh... what? We're... the same race aren't we?" He couldn't believe now what he was hearing. "If a tree grows in a different wood, does that make it not a tree?" He asked, quoting one of Buldr's bullshit analogies. It just seemed fitting.
At the mention of Mazoku, one of his brow ridge raised. "I Don't know what that is. But what I can I assure you, is my intentions are not to be a dick."

Paengi stood there, the tension starting to rise. Throughout the whole encounter, it had only grown more awkward and tense. ”We do, however you seem to think everyone single one of us can take care of every single spot. I am only one person, there are others. ”I suppose that is true,” he said in response to the analogy. He stood there for a moment, when something struck him odd. ”Wait, what is a dick?” he asked now confused at the statement. His eyebrows went down as he tried to think of what it could mean.

Rock crossed his arms and he shifted on his feet, using one foot to scratch the back of the other's calf. Brows furrowing at Paengi, he couldn't help but let his lips settle in a bit of a pout. Not quite enjoying the interaction he was having. "I don't suppose anything." His tone curt, and dry. Though when Paengi asked about the analogy his brow ridges widened, his eyes shifting to the side, feeling a bit of a hot flash down his neck. "Uh... Never mind... It's just an expression... like... to describe someone being incredibly discourteous.... Yeah..."

Paengi glared, his feet now standing wider apart, the silver warrior not used to standing this long without the need for being prepared for possible attacks. His arm reached back for an itch, mirroring Rock’s foot. ”So…” he began, not sure what to do next. ”You say you come from a different planet? How did you guys get there?’ he started, now curious on how that had happened.

Rock frowned at him, the awkwardness between them was getting uncomfortable. "Look," He says, deflecting Paengi's question. "I was just told to come and notify you of what was going on." The wind picked up, blowing about his antennae and sash. He turned his back, messing with his scouter before rubbing the back of his neck. After a good crack he looked over his shoulder to Paengi . "Now that my job is done, I'm gonna jet. But I do have to say, at the very least I thought you would be more concerned for your fellows." He let a short silence settle between them before starting to float, "Well anyway, its not my business." He intended to fly off, and unless Paengi stopped him, he'd do just that.

Paengi shifted his weight back and forth, very uncomfortable at the situation. As the namekian turned around and shot off, Paengi did nothing.
