(Current Power level: 13,245)
It had only been a few weeks since Kaula had officially taken Letu on as a student and allowed her to take a room within her large ship. In that time, they would occasionally spar. For a while, she had assumed that was all she could do. Train by sparring. But..recently, Kaula had informed her that there was a much more effective way to train. Training in increased gravity. Of course, being the skeptic she was, she hadn't believed her..until She gave a sudden cranking up of the gravity in the dojo to ten times normal gravity, instantly flooring her. Of course, Kaula then explained that it would be pointless to train with her at such low increments of gravity. She never fully mentioned what level she was at..only that it was pointless. However, she had mentioned that there was someone that could train with her. She had then shown Letu how to use the increased gravity system, and told her to always make sure to keep the door shut while the gravity chamber was active. So, here she was. Waiting on her mystery trainer.
Letu had no idea who it would be. Kaula had been purposely cryptic. All she could do was sit and wait. Though..She did sense an unfamiliar power level coming closer and closer. She knew that soon, her training buddy would arrive. It excited her. She had even worn more snug clothing, mostly training gear, which was borrowed from her mother to fit her body like black spandex. She wore her sword on her back, as always. As she waited, her anticipation grew, until she had to pace the room to cut down on her built up energy and excitement. She was ready to get started, that was easy to see.

(Thread Power Level: 53,056. Heavy weights on. Weighted Power Level: 13,264) (So we'd be even \o/)
Radasha made her way to the training room. She had been catching fish when Kaula had approached her to tell her she had a pupil who needed training but that she was too used to the method so it wouldn't benefit herself. So Kaula asked Radasha to meet with this person for a sparring match in her gravity chamber. Radasha had accepted of course. She always liked a good spar and there wasn't much to do on the island but that and fish. So here she was, walking up to the door that led into the chamber. She could sense the person inside. Wasn't a bad power. Whoever it was, wasn't a slouch. pressing the button to open the door, she stepped inside.
Giving the girl a look over, she spoke as she stepped further in. "So you're the person Kaula wants to train?" she questioned. It should be at least...otherwise she'd have to ask who this person was and what she was doing in her daughters property next. Radasha herself was wearing a purple, tunic-like top, right pants, and her battle-armor's boots. The boots were really the only thing left of that armor to be honest. She also had some sort of thick black belt around her waist. It was a weighted belt. She changed to it from the arm weights she used before. Her power was about even with this girl's with it on.
"I am Radasha, Kaula's mother. What's your name?" she asked, beginning to stretch a bit as a warm up.

As soon as she heard the noise of the door opening, Letu jumped to attention, turning to face the door..only to notice someone who looked remarkably like Kaula, only older enter the dojo. She had also gotten right to the point, asking if she was Kaula's pupil, to which she nodded promptly. Indeed I am, which must make you my sparring partner, correct? She asked as she listened, purposely keeping her voice quiet and level enough to not truly be interrupting her. She could tell that this woman, who promptly introduced herself as Radasha-Kaula's mother-was powerful, especially considering the heavy belt on her waist. She had asked her of her name, which she supposed was a decent enough question to ask. So, with a soft smile, she spoke up. My name is Letu, it's very nice to meet you. She said politely, before noticing something that didn't belong on this world. The same kind of combat boots that were part of a Saiyan armor set. After introducing herself, this small little item that caught her attention made her fall silent.
She herself had been stretching for some time already. So, as she watched Radasha stretch, she couldn't help but wonder. What would her life have been like if she had a mother that was powerful like Radasha was, if she had never been exiled? She stood there in silence for a moment, before opening her mouth to ask a question. I..if you don't mind me asking..what is Planet Vegeta like? Do you know..? My mother spoke of it before..But never gave me a straight answer... Her voice was laden with emotion. Curiosity, Apprehension, Sadness, and desperation all mingled in her surprisingly level tone. She hadn't thought to ask Kaula about it. Hopefully..She could get an actual answer.

Radasha watched the girl take in her appearance as well. Letu's eyes seemed to stop on a particular part of her apparel though. She glanced down at her boots then back to Letu, wondering what made her pause. When the question came, she chuckled. "Heh...That's a good observation..." she said. The girl seemed to have correctly guessed she wasn't a local Saiyan by her boots. She might want to refrain from wearing them out in public she supposed, lest she attract attention from Earthlings not too happy about the invasion.
"What's Vegeta like...hmm.....Well most of it's a blaster out husk from a war long over....The prettiest thing on the planet would probably be the Vegetan Capital, Cacumber. There's effort to make it better but it certainly is no Earth. You probably would not like the life if you've been raised mostly on Earth as well...Saiyans, especially ones of your power, are usually made warriors and trained and sent off to expand the Empire's territory. I'm assuming you have Saiyan blood because you made it sound like your mother was one." she added the last bit, using a bit of her own observational skills...not that it was hard to put two and two together.

As she listened to Radasha's description of planet Vegeta, Letu nodded, taking mental notes to fill in the blanks she had about the culture of the planet, and how it looked. So far, she had a lifeless shell with a single glorious landmark, and that the Saiyan race was a warrior culture. Though, Radasha had made a fairly simple observation, but regardless, Letu smiled and nodded as she walked over to the dial that increased the gravity within the room, the door having closed behind her sparring partner. Indeed. I am what my mother called a "Saiyan-Demon". Which happens to be why I have these. She said gesturing to the horns on her head with one hand, gritting her teeth in preparation before slowly turning the dial with the other, feeling the pressure on her body increasing. Two..Three..Four times..Five times...Eight times..Ten times. That was what Kaula had told her to start at. Admittedly, it could have been far more difficult. As it was, it felt like she was moving through syrup. Oh, I don't doubt that I would dislike it. But, regardless, Vegeta is part of my past via my mother. I wish to learn about it, and eventually learn about where my father comes from..if I find him again. She said as she stretched her arms above her head, slowly unbuckling Jigoku-Ko from her back before placing it gingerly on the ground, cracking her knuckles.
Shall we get started? She asked as her Ki flared up around her body. She didn't power up at all, nor did it have any real effect. She felt more comfortable though, as the pressure seemed to lessen on her body before she let it fade. She couldn't run in this kind of gravity just yet, so, she took up a defensive stance. I suppose that it would be polite to allow you to have the first move, wouldn't it? She asked with a smile.

Radasha nodded. Knowing your parents' cultures couldn't hurt. Radasha had lived completely as a Saiyan though. Both her parents had been pure-blooded and had raised her as most other Saiyans would raise their children. To be soldiers, warriors, fighters, anything to do with combat really. Well they also taught her things most Saiyans would probably ignore. She could do work besides fighting if she needed to as a result. She was also prone to thinking first before she acted....Where one fighter might charge in to attack Letu....She would stay back for a moment.
Before she even considered moving in, she had to know how limiting this gravity would be to her. It made it feel as if her body was a magnet and it was being attracted to the floor. Once she was sure she could stand without falling on her ass, she began to step towards Letu. Running would be out of the picture for a while until she got used to the heaviness. Jumping as well. Her usual, wild fighting style wouldn't be much use in these conditions. She was forced to take it slow, taking a stance and proceeding to sidle up to Letu.
A thought occurred to her as she approached....How was she going to hit her hard enough to do anything with how heavy she was feeling. Overhand swings.... She thought. Speeding up a bit, well as much as she could, Radasha...stomped towards Letu...the Gravity not giving her much choice in the stomping. She felt kind of ridiculous. When she was at melee range, she brought back one arm, then lifted it up, hand over her head, as she attempted to slam her palm down onto Letu, letting the gravity do it's thing, stepping forward as she did.

While Radasha was weighted down by both her own training weight and the gravity itself, Letu was only moving as if the air were Syrup. She didn't move as Radasha stomped over to her, smirking as she slowly raised her hands up, locking her arms as Radasha's arm came down, her left hand coming down onto the wrist as her right hand came up to meet her at the elbow, grabbing onto her arm and attempting to twist it behind her. It was actually rather clever of her to use the enhanced gravity to make things move faster. But, with her power limited by her training gear, even at this high of gravity they were at an equal level. She felt her teeth grind as she attempted to fight against the increased gravity. W..well..as long as we can't move very fast..might as well make some small talk, right?
She asked with a chuckle as she glanced out of the corner of her eye. She saw her sword glinting enticingly, but forced herself to tear her eyes away from it, instead attempting to push Radasha forward if her twisting maneuver was successful. So, you said that most Saiyans of my power level are sent to different worlds to attempt to conquer them for the Empire? I assume that empire has a name, and a leader? Might I trouble you for the answers as to the names of those things? She asked as she took up a defensive stance. She wasn't exactly ready to fight in enhanced gravity either, but she at least was going to keep up her line of questioning. It was getting her answers she had never expected to get.

Radasha grunted as her arm was pinned to her back and she was shoved forward. Normally she'd be able to easily regain her footing. But the gravity messed with her movements and she went into a roll instead, landing upright on one knee. So this was how Kaula got her power. Radasha had to admit, it was going to be a hell of a work out. Especially for her, seeing as her training weights made her feel even heavier. Without the belt, she'd probably be able to run circles around Letu. But that wouldn't make for a good sparring match.
Getting to her feet, she responded to Letu's questioning, "I'm sure you could find out the info pretty easily, but I'll go ahead and tell you" she began, starting to pace a circle around the girl as she talked, "The Saiyan Solar Empire. It was formed long, long ago. I've seen three leaderships in my time. First was a council made up of several saiyans...only in power because they had numbers....Leadership is usually gained from defeating the current leader in single combat.....which...no one could do because the council was not composed of a single entity. Someone would have to have the power to take on all of them at once, which someone did."
Pausing for a moment, she continued. "I saw the aftermath. The Queen prior to the current one used a strategy against the council and wiped them all out in a single attack by making it so the full moon triggered her Oozaru form...but not theirs. She blasted a hole in the ceiling and the dome that kept Saiyans unable to control themselves in Oozaru state normal while in the city. She and a scientist planned it so the moonlight would only shine on her. Pretty clever.....But her reign as queen didn't last long. Zucceta, the current queen, soon arrived and fought her. That was the time I first witnessed the Super Saiyan state.....Both of them achieved it during that fight. Sadly it seems it's becoming a bit...less legendary..." she said with a huff. "Kinda loses the awe-factor once you've seen it three times in a short span of time..." Her daughter showing it off, while it made her proud, kind of....killed the novelty of it.

As she listened to Radasha talk, Letu was almost floored by how much information she was getting. Once, there was a council. Currently, there was a queen. Radasha spoke as if she had witnessed these things. All of this came as a shock to her. However..she once again heard that term. Super Saiyan. A ridiculous name. But..still...she sighed softly as Radasha finished talking. Super Saiyan...that ridiculous name..I've heard it twice now, and seen it once. What makes it so "legendary"? If it's becoming increasingly common, it clearly can't be all that special. She said, the frustration apparent in their voice. She might have dismissed it, written it off as nothing special, a ridiculous title. But, deep down, there was something deeply Saiyan within her, crying to get out, to be set free.
She discounted that which she could not reach, that which she felt she could not attain. Secretly, she felt inferior, weak. She had met fellow hybrids. Articho and Kaula. Both very young, around her age. Both of them being far stronger than her. She didn't..couldn't understand. If all of life is a stage..and we are merely the players..what does that make someone like me..? She thought, clenching a fist in anger as she pondered this question. Kaula, Articho, Radasha. These people were all main characters..powerful people willing to defend their ideals. Then someone like her..She was a background character, someone who was to support those who life put in the spotlight.
As her rage mounted further and further, her aura flared, her eyes draining of all emotion, going blank as she stood there. I won't.. She said quietly, the flare of her aura cutting off, her power level dropping as she clenched a fist tighter. She refused to be a player in the background. She refused to live her life unable to protect those she cared for. Unable to protect her ideals..She looked up at Radasha, steel in her eyes. I won't stand in the background any more. She said grimly, adjusting her stance. She was going to train as hard as she could, learn as much as possible. Life was not going to give her a turn in the light, so she would take her turn.

Radasha chuckled. "Well you don't see EVERY Saiyan's hair going gold...It only comes about in very strong Saiyans. Both Saiyans I saw transform for the first time...They both were a little above 100 thousand in power level if you were to scan them with a scouter. The transformation seems to increase one's power to the amount it would be at in Oozaru form....give or take. The advantage being the Super Saiyan state seems to be able to be activated at will once attained...Zucceta managed to fuse both states together....it was something more awe-inspiring than just your hair turning gold.." she said, remembering the invasion and the battle in the NC.
Hearing Letu speak again, she glanced over to see her slide into a stance. That look in her eye...Radasha wondered what that was about. Spreading her feet apart, she assumed that was enough talk for now. Her torso lurched forward, arms limp and hanging down. What kind of stance was this? There was no time to ponder as Radasha suddenly darted forward in a flash of purple. She used her ki to help propel her forward, fighting the gravity, as she ran at Letu. Bringing her arms back to her sides, it looked as if she might thrust both palms at her.
However when she did thrust them forward. she wasn't in melee range yet. Leaping forward, the older woman landed on her hands and pushed up, tucking in her limbs as her body rolled through the air. Soaring over Letu, she landed behind the young girl, proceeding the back flip towards her, the last flip ending with her spinning around, leg outstretched to ram into Letu's side.

Normally, a maneuver like that would have kept Letu on the defensive. But, with her intense resolve came sharper eyes, more intense focus, and an unleashing of a part of her that she didn't know existed. The warrior within. Oh, her power level didn't increase, but suddenly she felt unhindered by gravity. Without being weighted down, she had finally adjusted to the higher gravity. So, whirling around at the very last possible second, her hand shot out at a much higher speed than they had been moving at, her hand wrapping around Radasha's ankle as she pulled down, pivoting on one foot to use Radasha's own momentum against her to attempt to slam her into the ground, a fist coming out to nail her in the back of the head as she hopefully flew ahead of her, her feet digging into the ground as she took up a stance with one hand low to her waist, and another held out, the forearm tilted at a slight diagonal to the left. She was forgoing all grace, all fluidity of motion. She was going for the straight and brutal approach. Of course, she winced as the pain in her hand registered. Despite everything, that kick had been much harder. If she were a betting girl, she would say that in a minute or two, Radasha would also be used to it.
If she did get used to it, then things were going to get MUCH more interesting. There was already an inherent gap between them. She could feel the restraint in power that the weight had put on Radasha. Her wrists ached from the strain of catching her arm earlier, and now she was putting them under more undue stress. She couldn't keep pulling the whole catch and redirect routine any more. She knew that. It was something she was definitely going to avoid for now. So, for now she was going to resort to simple attacks.

The throw against Radasha succeeded, the Saiyan being thrown to the ground, yet she immediately rolled, avoiding the punch. The roll ended with her on all fours, in a feral-like stance. Her tail waved through the air a bit before she leapt forward, bouncing from spot to spot as she made her way to Letu again. She had a very primal like style going on. Almost as if she was a......monkey.... Letu's assessment that she would most likely be used to the gravity by now seemed to be true, at least she seemed to be keeping up. She didn't seem to notice though, probably too caught up in the sparring match. Nearing Letu, she hopped onto her hands again, but this time spun her body around and pushed off, feet heading right for the Saiyan hybrid's head.

She was not disappointed by this sudden change in Radasha's fighting style. When she leapt towards her in a dropkick, Letu stepped to the side, taking the kick right to the shoulder, which sent her into a staggering movement backwards as she winced. She was too fast, just like Kaula. Not only that, but she hit very hard. She capitalized on the situation regardless though. As she inevitably came to a stop, Letu lashed out in return, aiming a solid open palm strike towards her side, following it up with a elbow straight to her gut almost immediately, hoping to slam Radasha into the ground again as she adjusted her stance, widening it as she grit her teeth. She couldn't keep going hand to hand forever. At some point, she was going to have to use her Ki. She didn't want to use it, because of how explosive all of her attacks were. Regardless, now that they had gotten used to the enhanced gravity, she had no doubt that they each had become quite a bit stronger. Still, this spar would inevitably continue until one of them could not continue. The odds of it being her were low, but she was still going to try her best to be the victor of this battle.

Radasha landed from her attack facing Letu, the palm attack catching her in the side, causing her to reel a bit. When the elbow came, she brought up her hands to block it, though it still sent her to the ground. On her back, she brought her legs up and then pushed off the floor, landing on her feet as she brought her hands back behind her. Purple energy formed in her palms in the shape of spheres which she then tossed underhandedly at Letu. The ki blasts flew in a sort of pincer maneuver, moving out wards a bit before closing in to enclose Letu between them and explode.

Letu growled as Radasha threw two blasts of Ki at her, a pincer maneuver being the movement they took on. They were fast. Too fast for her to dodge. Her sword was too far away. She had one option left. So, thrusting out her hands, she shot out two concussive blasts of Ki, meeting the balls of Ki that Radasha had thrown at her and causing them to prematurely detonate. She sighed as she dropped her right hand, Ki gathering in her hand as she concentrated it into a large ball. Oh, this wasn't one of her named techniques. But it was meant to mimic its appearance. So, thrusting her arm forward, she threw the large ball of Ki at Radasha, launching a series of four more behind it, mimicking her pincer maneuver before, but from two angles: her sides, and then above and below her. She hated using Ki when they were just sparring, but it was clear she was not going to be given a reprieve or break. She had to end this as quickly as possible.
