(Alright, let's try this again... Doing this in mostly thoughts Pieter's going to be having.)
"This place shouldn't be that far... Though, that path is looking pretty lengthy. It's probably only about 10 miles. No big deal. If I can run across an ocean in my sleep, I should be able to handle this. Granted, I wish they told me what the heck I'm going to!"
This was Pieter's initial thought on this matter. He decided that he'd jog the way, so that he could spend some time to think about things. For instance, who exactly was this King Kai? What was he a King of, exactly? They shoved Pieter out the door so quickly that he couldn't get some answers on anything.
"Maybe this 'King Kai' is able to answer these questions... Huh, that's neat! They seem to worship Serpents as deities as well," thought the curious hunter, as he came up to a bend. He was able to catch a glimpse of part of the path he was running along, immediately able to tell that the path's namesake, Snake Way, was indeed something to revel in! Dark blue scales jutted out the sides much like the reptile's scales, but they also seemed to have these spines that, upon Pieter taking closer inspection, were made of clay. Pieter muttered, "I wonder where they got all this clay from... It's fashioned in quite a respectable manner... Huh? What's that noise?"
Pieter stood up, as he put his hands up to his ears, cupping them with them outwards so that he could better locate the noise. It sounded like a car engine... Did they actually have vehicles in the afterlife? Why didn't they supply him with one of these instead of having him run all the way there? It even sounded as though the car was coming up from the path as well!
As sure as Pieter's intuition had been, a vehicle came up to his sight! It looked cramped, even though it fit one person too. It had this really old design of using wheels made of some sort of rubber and metal. There was a horned man with pale skin with a smile driving this vehicle too. The man saw him and, with the same continued smile, waved at Pieter. The hunter waved back at him, as he thought out loud, "What a strange place... But I really should be getting to this person. I don't think the King would find it appropriate for someone to be late!"
The hunter proceeded to speed around the winding path, a dust cloud quickly forming behind him! As he neared the car, he proceeded to leap above it, startling the man through the whole sequence and causing him to swerve on the narrow path! He halted the car, as the half-breed called out an apology as he sped away!
"Man... I need a new job..."
(Just gonna post what I got here and carry on the thoughts to the next post on everything before my connection hiccups on me!)[/i]

(... It has been nearly 2 weeks! FFFF-) The distance Pieter had been running had felt as though it were endless, despite the day not even coming close to an end. 'Where in the Serpent's scales is this place,' was part of what Pieter could think of, not feeling a bit of weariness from this expansive sprint! He could swear he was moving, as he found not a single shingle or tire track on this path, yet... Yet the scenery made him feel as though he weren't moving at all! He had begun to wonder, on top of this, if the path was actually part of a real live snake stretching endlessly through this pace! However, something in the horizon caught his attention, something that both caused him great happiness... And fear as well. It was the end of the road! The tip of the Snake's tail! He sprinted up to it and looked around the clouds, trying to figure out what was going on. He tried to sense a creature, but nothing quite caught his attention, except for the boundless energies seething all the way back down the path! Pieter collapsed on his feet, cursing at himself and everything about him. "Damn it... DAMN IT! What did I do wrong?! Did that wretched giant send me the wrong way," Pieter screamed, slamming on the tip the snake! He looked at the clouds at the end, a fist full of energy as he fired down below in the heat of rage. The nimbus parted for a moment, to reveal a bleak landscape beneath him. He stood back, agape and awed by the land beneath him. Was this simply some sort of gigantic world that he and all of these people were on?! Pieter proceeded to look up, to see if the case there had been stars, planets, or even a moon above. To his astoundment, he saw a tiny planet so far out of reach above this niched world! The Hunter could fly, that was certain, but how far away was this planet and how strong was this place's gravity? The hunter certainly didn't want to go plummeting down below and hurting his body, which he wasn't exactly sure about himself... "It might be that place... Maybe this is a test I gotta complete in 1 shot? I won't know until I try!"Pieter bent his knees, and with a mighty shout, lept into the sky towards the planet! Things felt smooth, as he encroached the planet in mere seconds... And felt himself being tugged towards the planet greatly, on top of that! "What the h-"Pieter's head found itself colliding into the grassy planet, biting his tongue mid comment! He fell on his back painfully, feeling himself being pressed by the invisible force of the planet. He groaned loudly, as he tried to figure out what on earth just happened. (Alright, done! Whomever is playing King Kai, I am here!)

( Pieter Wolfbane No worries about how long it took! It was shown in the show that Snake Way is pretty long; who's to say it isn't a two-week Journey? ) "Ahh~"The short Kaio sighed happily as he finished taking a long sip from his tea. He was currently sunbathing just outside his own home; still in his traditional robes, mind you, but sunbathing nonetheless. He flipped through a magazine lazily, simply enjoying the day he was having. A lot of days were like this now. It had been quite some time since the Northern Galaxy had been troubled by anything at all; then again, that Realigner Red fellow who briefly showed up did worry him. He turned to one of the only other denizens of the planet; a strange monkey that went by the name of Bubbles. The monkey danced around happily, half-bitten banana held firmly in hand. The Kai chuckled, but his thoughts began to wander. "Bubbles... Didn't Yemma tell us some new warrior was coming by for training?" The monkey shrugged, continuing to dance happily. King Kai brought a hand to his chin, scratching it as he fell deep into thought. "I coulda swore he was on his way... What was his name again? Pietri? Popper?... Eh, I'll figure it out when he gets here."He returned to his magazine, until suddenly he felt someone nearing his planet. The Kai stood from his chair, placing his magazine down gently as he watched the warrior leap through the sky! "He's got good legs at the very least!" The Kai chuckled at his own observation. Suddenly, it seemed the gravity of the miniature planet had finally begun to affect the warrior. He started plummeting, eventually smashing face-first into the grass near King Kai's home. The Warrior fell onto his back, revealing his tail that fluttered angrily on his posterior. King Kai chuckled again. "Ah! A Saiyan! These guys are always fun to train." He thought back to one of his best warriors, but decided to take a proper nostalgia trip later. He approached the Saiyan, smiling as he introduced himself. "Hello there; I'm King Kai! I presume you must be Pierre?"Bubbles circled Pieter, a curious look on his face. He poked at the tribal's tail, watching it sway back and forth, much like his own.
(So Pieter! It seems you've been writing as if you already have a body. We changed the way the Afterlife works, so you start as a little puffball. I'm going to let it slide though because it's really hard to RP as a puffball running across Snake Way; however, I have one condition for you to follow: I want you to request Shoki as a reward for this thread, and once we finish and this gets graded, 2,500 Shoki will immediately be deducted from your total and traded for a body! The only thing is that because you technically aren't supposed to have a body yet, you won't get the PL Bonus that you get for having a body and requesting Shoki. Understand?)

(My apologies on the matter! It is understood and will make sure this is done.)
Someone was talking to him. There was someone living here... Here?! The planet was so tiny, Pieter thought it was just the distance playing tricks on his eyes! They said something about some guys being fun to train, before mistakenly calling him Pierre, with an introduction to lead. The hunter dragged his chin up, so that his face wasn't planted. As he did this, the hunter noticed a monkey surrounding him, before poking him on the tail. Pieter struggled to flip over, somewhat twisting his arm painfully so he could look at what this King Kai looked like.
As he did this, he responded, "Nice... to meet you! Gah, chest is tight," he exclaimed, lifting his heavy arm to his chest, having to leave it there for a moment, "My name is Pieter, not Pierre... Though, I won't lie, I've been called that on occasion. Even then, I've been called Pie because of how it's pronounced... Er... Why is it so hard to move, if you don't mind the question? Also, what is that place in the clouds beneath this place? Is some sort of gigantic world and this is some sort of moon you live on?"

King Kai chuckled at the Saiyan. It seemed the boy's name was Pieter, not Pierre. "Ah! Makes more sense to me. I can't possibly imagine a French Saiyan..." A daydream briefly appeared in his mind, as he imagined a Saiyan Warrior with a curly mustache wielding a baguette. He chuckled again.
As Bubbles surrounded Pieter, the Kai shooed him away. The Monkey made an annoyed face before scurrying off; most likely to look for more bananas in the small, dome-shaped house. King Kai listened to the Saiyan's multitude of questions, responding to each one as best he could. "Well, you're on a Kai's planet my boy! The Gravity here is ten times stronger than that of Planet Earth, which is what you're used to. As for what's beneath the clouds... That's the HFIL! Or Home For Infinite Losers, if you prefer. It's where the nefarious... Do-Badders end up!" He laughed at his own "joke", stifling his laughter quickly as he placed his hands behind his back.
"Now then, I suppose King Yemma sent you to train with me? I've been looking over your records while you were on the way; very impressive! Courageous too!" He revealed one of his hands from behind his back, and begin counting off some of Pieter's most noteworthy feats. "You fought that Realigner guy, helped save Earth from the Saiyan Invasion... You even got in good with Kami! Not bad if I do say so myself!" He raised his teashade glasses for just a moment, staring directly at Pieter as he spoke in a quieter tone. "You did beat up that one Saiyan kid kinda brutally though. Work on not doing that in the future."
The shades slowly dropped back into place as King Kai clapped his hands together. "Alright then! For your first lesson... I want you to learn how to stand up. Shouldn't take you too long, right?"
The Kai returned to his lawn-chair, grabbing his magazine as he waited for the Saiyan to acclimate himself to the harsher environment.

The Kai's manner of speaking made Pieter want to cringe... He recognized him to being one of those 'lame jokers' quite quickly, and who could blame him? All he had was this one monkey to talk to, and maybe the one ogre every once in a blue moon to visit him... Wait, did this place even have a moon? Pieter was told that the gravity was 10 times that of the Earth's, despite it's small size, as well as the area down below being HFIL, where the villains went in the midst of this joking.
Then, the blue man proceeded to go over the information that lead him to being sent in here in the first place! The Realigner Red, whom was revived later and fought the Saiyan invasion, was a man that Pieter personally wanted to put in his place! He was then told not to beat up his foes so brutally in the future, like he did the brat Prince. Apparently news got around, even in the Afterlife! Afterwards, with a clap, the man gave him his first job: Learn to stand up.
"That's it..? Alright."
Pieter buried his hands into the ground below him, and with a mighty heave, shoved himself upwards! He let out a grunting breath as he did this, finding the task to be quite strenuating! However, he accomplished that deed with relative ease.
"So... Can I ask you something," Pieter spoke, leaning on one arm heavily, as he readjusted his legs to prepare for standing, "How long has all of this been here?"
With a mighty upheaval, Pieter shot himself up from the ground, briefly floating in the air, before crashing downwards! However, he was prepared this time for the gravity, having his legs beneath him ready to take his extreme weight! His legs thudded on the ground, as he held his fists out in front of him to stand, growling loudly as he focused! The weight wasn't much different than his weighted vest that... Wait, his vest! The hunter was being foolish! He shimmied the animal skin vest off his shoulders, letting it drop heavily on the ground! With it off, the weight become much easier to handle than before! Pieter even proceeded to start jumping up and down, as grinned and laughed.
"Hah hah! There we go! Much better! A little straining still, but so much better than before!"

King Kai watched as his new student slowly picked himself up. It took him a moment, but it seemed he was certainly acclimating faster than most. He posed a question as he lay on the ground, causing the Kaio to chuckle. "Oh I don't know... Since time started I guess? I lost track a while ago. Why do you ask, Pieter?" He flipped through his magazine a bit more, sipping on his Iced Tea as he perused its contents.
Suddenly, the Saiyan shot into the sky once more! He descended at breakneck speeds, colliding with the ground feet-first! He wobbled slightly, but eventually stood proudly as he balanced himself out. King Kai placed his magazine down gently, smiling as he watched the Saiyan remove his weights. "Not bad! First try with your weights on too! It's a good idea to keep em off for now; don't wanna over-exert yourself on the first day, right?"
The Saiyan hopped up and down excitedly; a very eager fella this one was! King Kai snickered as he spoke. "Careful now! This is a planet not a bouncy house!"
King Kai pondered for a moment. The Saiyan seemed to be doing well, but he wouldn't try anything strenuous on the Saiyan just yet. He'd rather not have a pancake student after all! The Mystical Kaio spoke once more as he gave the Saiyan his next task. "Alright, you've learned to hop and stand; let's see how you walk and run! It might be a bit more difficult than you think." He snickered once more, daydreaming about Bubbles placing banana peels on the ground just as Pieter was about to plant his foot down.
Little did the Kaio know, that was exactly what Bubbles was planning on. If Pieter broke into a run, the monkey would aim a banana peel for the Saiyan's feet, hoping to make him trip over himself.

Pieter stopped jumping, as he was instructed by his master, whom proceeded to tell him it was time to walk and run next. The monkey seemed to have been munching on some fruit, looking intently at Pieter's feet as he did, though Pieter didn't notice this part. The hunter shrugged, and agreed to these terms, whilst stating, "Well... For the past year or so, I've been having a sort of 'existential crisis', if you will. My mother and the tribe we grew up with, the Monkeys of the Karinga, believe that the Earth was molded by a Great Serpent from heat and all sorts of metals and elements of Earth. Due to this, we worshipped giant beasts, from snakes to monkeys like your pet there. However, during my late teenhood and early adulthood, there were some wild giant animals that were attacking my people and the friends of the tribe, demanding sacrifices that, when my siblings and I engaged them, these creatures went down without so much as a fuss... It was and still is kind of a trifling matter to me! Maybe that's just the human part of me fearful of the unknown or the majority saiyan side in my blood from my father Pota. I was looking to see if you knew anything about whether this thing my people believe in was true or not."
Walking around didn't seem too tough. In fact, it only felt as though he was still wearing the vest on, but instead of just on his chest, it was all over himself! His feet clamoured on the ground, shaking his knees with each step taken. Over time, though, each step did get progressively easier. No doubt, due to his saiyan side being very adaptive! He felt the strain on his spine, too, loosen up a bit, allowing him to straighten up!
"Alright, looks like I can walk like a normal person... I should probably get back to King Kai's side quickly. Start off with light jog," Pieter thought, applying more energy to his legs so he could get into his run! A few quick steps later and the hunter was on the other side of the planet where King Kai was! Seeing him run caused King Kai's monkey to toss a banana peel on the concrete that Pieter was about to cross!
Pieter waded around it quickly, though, as he wagged a finger at the chimp with a smirk! He jested arrogantly, "No no no! You're not getting me so easily."

King Kai listened intently as Pieter told his troubles to the god. It seemed he wasn't sure what legends to believe as true! The kaio nodded, pondering the tribal's question for a moment. He adjusted his glasses as he spoke. "Well, that does sound troubling my new friend... One thing I do know is that no big snake created the Earth! One lives on it though; his name is Shenron, and he's the big fella that comes out when you gather all the Dragon Balls!" The Kaio's antennae twitched lightly, indicating he had sensed something big occurring in the Northern Galaxy. He smirked, before speaking once more. "Speaking of Shenron... Looks like he just revived Planet Namek! Wanna bet how long that'll last?" He snickered at his own words, but quickly stifled himself, deciding to focus on watching the Saiyan's progress.
To say the Kaio was surprised at Pieter's progress was an understatement. The Saiyan was a bulky guy, yet he could walk around here like he was used to this kind of increased weight! It was very surprising, to say the least. King Kai glanced towards Bubbles, noticing the mischievous monkey was up to something. He watched as the monkey tossed a banana peel right at Pieter's feet; but to his immense surprise the Saiyan nimbly dodged out of the way!
Bubbles frowned in disappointment, but King Kai was quite impressed. He smiled, proud of his new student's impressive skills in avoiding hidden obstacles. The Monkey waddled back to the dome-shaped house, retiring for the day.
"Well, looks like it's just the two of us now!" The Kaio pointed at a nearby car, raising his eyebrows as he posed a question. "I think you've proven you know how to stand your ground on this planet! Let's take a drive before we start any real training... Sound good?"
Regardless of the Saiyan's response, King Kai would hop into his beautiful red car. He'd slam the door shut, quickly turning the key and starting the vehicle. It rumbled impatiently as King Kai waited for his passenger to take a seat in the passenger's seat.

The monkey was upset, going inside the dome shaped house, as King Kai explained what he did recall about the Earth. While there had been no snake that had built the world, there had been the mighty dragon Shenron, whom Pieter recalled the Namekian people telling stories about with their magic to create these balls. As a matter of fact, he even acknowledged how the dragon was summoned and revived the recently destroyed planet Namek, on top of that!
"Wait, it was revi-"
He paused, as King Kai asked him to join him for a drive in his archaically designed car. Pieter examined the vehicle, having been around many floating vehicles before that were pretty standard on the Earth nowadays, pondering how it exactly worked, or if it were simply just some hunk of rock the blue man made to tease people with. However, to not be rude, the hunter agreed to hop in with him. He didn't strap himself in, as he sat himself comfortably in this car. The seats of the car seemed to have been made of a animal's hide, yet there hadn't been any other animals except the one monkey on this planet. Pieter pondered on this, as he tried to get a bit more comfy in the car.
"Hey, King Kai. Where did you get the stuff to make this old machine and... Wait, is something on fire," Pieter asked, before his nose picked up the smell of the vehicle. He looked around, before stopping behind them, seeing that there had been some white gas rising from the back! What the heck was this thing running on that it permeated such a smoke and why?!
"Uhm... Is it supposed to be producing that white smoke behind us?"

The Kaio sat impatiently in the driver's seat. He contemplated honking his horn at the Saiyan, but it seemed he didn't need to. Pieter quickly entered, though he seemed confused as to what the machine actually was. He asked curiously just how it was created. "This baby was a pet project of mine over two thousand years ago! It took me a while to collect all the parts required, but a Kai has his ways."
Kind Kai tried keeping a straight face, but couldn't help but chuckle when Pieter noticed the smoking backside of the car. "Of course that's normal you goof! Are you telling me you've never seen a classic car like this bad boy before?" He gripped the wheel firmly, before quickly pulling out of the "driveway" whilst exclaiming, "Let's goooooo!"
The duo took off, driving around the planet slowly. It was a peaceful drive, albeit a bit bumpy. King Kai was silent at first, but eventually he spoke up.
For the first time since he'd met the Kaio, his voice was stern and serious. "Now, I wanna make something clear to you Pieter... I only train the good guys, alright? I've never had a bad egg before, but I just wanna make sure you know that you can't just... Be evil after I teach you! Frankly, that'd just be rude." He nodded to himself before continuing. "Once you start learning from me, you'll stick to the saving people and fighting evil monsters or tyrants business, got it?"
Pieter would notice that during King Kai's stern speech, they had passed by the Kaio's home more than once. It was clear this planet was smaller than it originally looked from afar. Perhaps that was the source of the increased gravity?

King Kai chuckled at Pieter's worries, as he elaborated that the machine was actually how it worked! They quickly zoomed off, the air brushing on them as they zoomed away with a screech! The machine was very old, the Kai told him, and that it was apparently a 'classic.' Pieter didn't understand the term. He was not versed in the ways of technology, historically or mechanically, so he had figured vehicles varied in the form of some floating thing... Not something that dragged itself on the ground through the use of wheels!
King Kai, though, proceed to get serious after having looped several times around this tiny planet already. He wanted him to keep being on the good side of things, fighting monsters and the likes of villains, as well as saving people. Pieter didn't find this problematic to do, as he felt that was the right way to do things, but to also take care of the world he lived on as well. Though he did have to ask the Kai why he brought it up.
"King Kai, it has been how I've been most of my life. Granted, it was a bit brutal with what happened to the young Prince when the war was happening... But that was because he was going to assault a whole city because he lost to me and lost his tail! I don't have the speed to go and take a hit for someone I am protecting and the only thing I saw at the time that I could do was... Well... What I tried to do. However, that Articho guy got in the way and managed to save him and the people he tried to kill while battling that saiyan Mayze... King Kai, why do things have to be so complicated?"
Pieter sighed, as his mind went back to those few moments back in his life. He recalled the heat from Articho's blast overpowering the Tomahawk Slasher, shattering as it happened. He recalled the hateful atmosphere of that dreaded battle, how he berated Articho for holding back in this battle of life and death of not just their own lives, but the entire population! Pieter believed he wasn't wrong for trying to eliminate the Prince Luffa off the planet... But why was it that everyone was telling him not to have done what he did?
"King Kai, what is the young man doing now? Prince Luffa, I mean, as well as the others. I need to know my decision wasn't a poor one to make," Pieter asked, his mind fixated on all those involved in this battle. He was worried that the decision he made was the worst one he made, by letting Luffa go.

As they zipped along the tiny planet, King Kai immensely enjoying his opportunity to show off his car to a new student, even if Pieter did not show a particularly overt love for the vehicle the Northern Kai was certain that deep down the warrior was enjoying the ride. In reaction to his request that Pieter stay on the side of good and justice Pieter started speaking on his battle with the young Prince Luffa and how trying it had been for him. King Kai's expression would briefly grow a touch more serious, while normally a very lighthearted Kai he could certainly tell when jokes would not necessarily be the best response.
“You had yourself between a real rock and a hard place there big guy, you made the choice that you saw was best for everyone. We've all got big choices like that to make, and you'll probably have a few more to make down the road, you've just gotta trust your gut that you're making the right ones. The kids young but he was raised on that sort of lifestyle, where blasting a whole city of his enemies is 'ok' finding the will to spare someone like that is tough stuff when they might just go back to blasting more people.”
“What's he up to now?” King Kai's antenna twitched a bit, he briefly weighed the consequences of telling Pieter about the Prince's current goings-on, ultimately there wouldn't be much problem with it. “Well he's a bit out of sorts from the battle, unfortunately the loss hasn't exactly put him on a new path, mostly just seems to have made the kid more angry, at himself and everyone around him. Seems like it's getting him in a bit more trouble than usual where hes going to end up is about as clear as pea soup.” King Kai said with a nod, trouble with the top dogs of the Saiyan Empire at that, maybe though there was still a chance for the Prince to turn things around if he fell in with the right crowd, it wouldn't be the first time after all.
“As for that boy Articho it looks like he's gearing up to help the Guardian's crew get Helix back to Namek in one piece.” King Kai said, and boy would they need some power like that for when they finally did get to Namek, things on the normally peaceful home of the Namekians appeared to be getting a bit dire with the return of the Mazoku clan's head.

King Kai proceeded to explain that there were going to be plenty of hard decisions down the road, for Pieter, explaining that this was how the kid grew up. His father grew up in the same environment, yet he ended up raising Pieter and his siblings with his tribe on Earth, being actively involved in their lives or else getting beaten by their mother, whom had her ways. As for Pieter's question, King Kai explained what was going on with Prince Luffa first, briefly waiting to tell him before hand. He must've not wanted to get Pieter on the wrong end, if that was how he felt, which Pieter considered to be comforting. He was then told that Articho was going to help Bing's group get someone named Helix back to Namek in one piece... Was there something going on at Earth that Pieter didn't know about?
"So, it's getting intense again so soon, and this time it's on the palace caretaker's planet, Namek.... Er, sorry, I meant Namekians. We were taught that they were servants to the Dragon on Earth and their own world when we were young," Pieter elaborated, grimacing at the thought, "Bing's probably not going to be able to assist them. His responsibilities are dedicated to the Earth."

King Kai nodded stoically, his eyes narrowing as the car finally began to slow. It stopped in the driveway, and the Kai shut the clunky machine down. He turned to the Shirtless Saiyan, speaking in a serious tone. "I'll be honest with you, dark tidings seem to be drawing near. The Queen was undeterred in her evil ways even after being defeated on Earth! I fear she might try something drastic soon.... As for your friends going to Namek, I'm sure they'll be fine! The evil Namekian who landed there recently is chump change compared to Kami's fighting squad!" He snorted out a laugh at the thought of these menacing "Devil's Knights" being trounced by one of Bing's Super Saiyan allies.
With the car turned off, King Kai opened his door slowly. He hopped out of the vehicle, moving around to the passenger side, waiting for Pieter to get off the car before he spoke with him again.
"Alright, I think you're ready for your first task now!"
The Kaio's antennae began to twitch, and suddenly, a large box appeared in his blue hands. He offered the box to Pieter, explaining what exactly was inside.
"Inside this box is a very special item! I want you to deliver it to a woman who lives on Snake Way! She lives in a large mansion, so you probably won't miss it. Heck, maybe you even passed by it on the way here!"
Should Pieter take the box, he'd notice it was immensely heavy. Whatever was inside must have been of grand importance if it were so heavy, right?
"Leave whenever you're ready! Just make sure not to drop it on the way there!"
--- (I think this should be a good way to end the thread off, don't you?) (Delivering the box is your first (and probably only) solo training challenge! The content inside the box is a large, delicious pumpkin pie! You'll have to deliver it to a woman who lives on Snake Way, but be wary of her girlish charms!)
