“KAAAMEEEHAAAAMEEEEHAAAAAAAA!” Toma shouted out, as he shoved his cupped hands into the sky. The large blue blast fired out into the air, before disapeering off into the depths of space. He couldn’t stand it! He just couldn’t stand it! How was he getting surpassed so easily? It was as if he was nothing to the new people that kept showing up!
He was a terrible excuse for a Saiyan warrior. Sure, he was strong. There was no arguing that. He was far stronger now than he was when he had first arrived on this planet. His power had multiplied ten fold, and then some.
But he still wasn’t a Super Saiyan. He was no Natto, no Athren, and certainly no Zuccetta. He just didn’t seem to have it in him. Even if he was training his behind off every day, he couldn’t seem to reach the level that was required to transform and keep the transformation going. And it drove him mad! He hated it with all his guts! But, he supposed, he was happy. Happy that he had found a loving woman, whom he had bedded and started a family with after marrying her. A beautiful, strong, sexy beast of a Saiyan woman. She drove him wild, especially when they fought. It really was the closest thing they had to foreplay.
He chuckled a bit to himself. Sure, he might not be the strongest out there. But he had a wife, a family, and he was genuinely happy. That was more than most people could say. But he wanted to become strong, to ensure that they could live.
But how was he going to do that if the others kept getting stronger than him by miles? He’d have to find a way to train even harder. So he continued to do the excersize that Ninjin, his wife, had shown him.
“KA…” He began. “Meeee….” He continued. “Haaaaa….” The blue orb began to form in his hands. “Meeeee…..” He threw his hands forwards. “HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!” He shouted, the blue beam ripping free from his hands, letting loose into the sky, ripping past the clouds and atmosphere, and into space.

So far Svid was happy with her decision to leave the jungle. Mostly though she was happy with her decision to use the hovercar to do so. It didn't travel faster than her. It had more freedom of movement though. Also being consistently several meters above the ground was an entirely unique sensation. So what if she didn't have a clear destination in mind? She was having plenty of fun flying around.
Her enjoyment of the wonders of flight were interrupted by a sudden burst of energy. She looked to the side to catch a glimpse of a blue light fading out. She took a moment to stare. The energy had felt incredible. But now she felt nothing. At least from this distance.
She headed towards the source of the energy and blue glow. She hid her own energy levels completely. Perhaps there was a fight of some sorts going on. If so then she did not want to get noticed by the combatants. At the very least she was sure the blue glow was because of some sort of technique. So something was most definitely going on.
She got as close as she dared on the hovercar, loud as it was. To her luck, the area was dotted with large rocks. She crouched, darting on all fours from rock to rock. Slowly she got close enough to where she felt the initial burst of energy. It had been spiking every once in a while. Always accompanied by that blue glow shooting into the sky. It always shot up and from the same spot. So it was unlikely a fight. Probably just someone training.
Once she got close enough to see the scene with her bare eyes, training was exactly what it looked like. Some dark haired man seemed to be practicing a technique of some sorts. Deeming it safe enough, Svid climbed atop one of the rocks surrounding the man. Specifically one directly behind him. After all, even though the technique was impressive, the man himself felt way weaker than Svid.
"What name?" Svid asked. It seemed she still had a ways to go before regaining her communication skills.

Toma brought his hands down again, as he felt an energy creeping up behind him. A weak energy. No stronger than his children, really. Of course, that was what happened when a Super Saiyan has a baby with someone almost as strong as herself. The babies tend to be pretty tough, relativly speaking.
The blue beam faded in the air, as his tail unraveled from his sash, wagging behind him some, as he turned around, smiling at the woman who had walked up behind him. She asked what his name was, in broken english. Judging from the pelt she was wearing, he was sure this woman had a story to tell. “My name is Toma. What is yours?” He asked, before walking over to a nearby rock, and sitting on it. Today was going to be quite the interesting day, it seemed. Perhaps this woman might give him an idea on how to get past his limits? Doubtful, but everything was possible.
Besides, Toma knew that if you were nice to someone, they will generally pay you back in return at a later date. It was always good to make friends.

Svid tilted her head. The man, who had identified as Toma, did not appear alarmed by her sudden arrival. Perhaps he sensed her coming. The thought was inconceivable to her. But then she knew nothing of the world outside the jungle. Perhaps such acute senses were normal. Either way these were concerns for another time. She had a question to answer.
"Me Svid. I travel. What you do?" Her tail swayed back and forth. Toma was one of the first people she'd met since leaving her jungle. She was understandably curious about him.

She spoke in broken english, and Toma raised an eyebrow. It was strange, really. He doubted she was a Saiyan. At least, not one of pure blood. Her hair was blonde, not black. She was a half saiyan at most. "Well, I train and fight. I also help raise my kids." He replied, shrugging. Toma didn't technically have a real job. Ninjin and him lived off the funds from the Turtle Schools that Ninjin ran. That left more time for the kids, and more time for training.
"Where are you from, Svid?" He asked, as he looked at her, bringing one leg up to rest his ankle on his knee. He wondered if the power he was sensing from her was her fullest strength. It wouldn't surprise him. She was already off the scales, as far as normal humans were concerned. Perhaps she might make a good sparring partner for his children, if only they were a bit older. Infants couldn't really fight well. Around four or five, though, and Toma would begin their training. That's what he and Ninjin had agreed upon.

A spot of dirt on the back of her hand caught Svid's eye. She brought it up to her face. Examined it briefly. And then licked it off. A few more licks for good measure made sure the rest of her hand was clean. Well, clean by her standards at least. Tongue baths were hardly the most hygienic. But she was away from her jungle. Her favorite waterfall shower was just a bit too far away for her to pop over there for a quick bath.
"Svid from jungle." She turned her head, looking for something. A few moments later she frowned. "Not know where jungle is. Jungle far away."
Svid returned her attention to Toma, inspecting him from a distance. He looked strong. But he felt weaker than he looked. At least way weaker than Svid. Maybe he was holding back like her. The energy surges from before had been way more powerful than what she sensed now.
"Toma train now? Toma make blue light? Blue light really strong."

"The jungle, huh?" He asked, bringing a hand up to his chin. "I grew up in a climate similar to that one. Though, it was a whole planet, rather than just a jungle." He said, nodding. He recalled the world he had been raised on. Sylor. A tropical planet of cold-blooded lizard people. The heat of the planet was perfect for their large bodies, and it was part of the reason Toma had been so agile at a young age. Swinging on tree vines and all that. There was probably a monkey joke in there somewhere, but Toma didn't feel like making it.
"As for Earth's jungle... it's somewhere... to the west?" He asked, mostly to himself. He shrugged shortly after. "I'm not too sure, honestly. I'm still learning Earth's geography." He said, before she asked if he was training. "And yes, I was. I did make that blue beam. It's a Ki attack, called the Kamehameha." She then complimented the strength of the beam. He chuckled. "Well, thank you. What about you? You can't be a normal human if you know how to sense Ki like that."

Svid tilted her head to the side. The word climate rang no bells for her. She probably hadn't even heard it before taking off into her jungle. She knew planet though. And she could piece together what jungle and planet in a sentence meant. The thought of an entire planet filled with jungle intrigued Svid. Perhaps one day she might go there. Assuming she'd ever go to space.
"Normal? No, Svid is Svid. And Svid feel Ki. Svid learn young." It wasn't that Svid didn't know the word 'normal'. She'd just willfully discarded what most people, at least humans, considered normal. She also didn't really find sensing Ki to be all that impressive. Ki usage was relatively common on Earth these days. Supposedly it had been once. But she knew nothing of those times. "Svid not train Ki long now. Svid train in jungle. Not train much. Hunt lots. Learn hide Ki. Toma hide Ki too?"

The woman continued in her broken English. Even hearing Toma's words seemed to have made little difference in her speech patterns, but he supposed that was normal. He was no expert on the ways a human mind functioned, so perhaps being alone for so long, made it a miracle that she could speak at all. He shrugged. "Yes, I am hiding a portion of my full power. I don't like drawing too much attention to myself, so I keep my power suppressed." He said, nodding. "I'm guessing that you are, too?" He spoke, continuing to look her over. He was curious to know what her fullest power was.
The saiyan side of him was itching for a fight, but now was not the time for it.

Svid nodded her head as Toma spoke. It made sense to not want such attention. Svid was well aware that there were people way stronger than her out in the world. It was like when she first entered the jungle all over again. There was always something stronger than her. Displaying one's power did have its advantages too though. If sufficiently powerful it kept any nuisances away. Larger predators might even decide you're just too much trouble and seek weaker prey.
"Yes. Svid hide energy. Svid sense blue light. Not want attention. Svid stop hiding." Svid undid her suppression, letting her Ki flow freely. It was a far cry from what she'd previously displayed. But Toma was still unlikely to be impressed by it. She of course was not aware of that. As far as Svid knew this was well above Toma's own power. The blue light from earlier had been more powerful but she hadn't gotten a good read on it. She had her own technique that could be sensed as more powerful than her so she didn't pay it much mind.
"Svid also make light like Toma. But Svid light gold."

"Hmm, I see." Toma hummed out, as he felt her Ki flowing more freely. It was then that Toma also released the restraints on his own Ki, letting the power burst forth. While her Ki was much like a gentle summer rain, his was like a mighty hurricane. And it wasn't even his full power. His Ki was still restrained by the weights he was wearing, that were keeping him at 1/4th of his total power. But Svid didn't need to know that. He didn't want to scare the poor girl. She seemed nice enough, he supposed.
"Ah, so you can perform Ki attacks as well." He asked, as his body began to float upwards, about four feet into the air. "Tell me, can you fly as well?" He asked, curious to know the extent of her abilities.

A shiver ran through Svid's body. Toma's Ki washed over her in a tidal wave. For a moment, her mind went blank. Her survival instincts took over and she jumped back to the edge of the rock she was perched on. She crouched low, muscles tensed and ready to escape. She came to her senses shortly after. As terrifying as Toma's Ki felt due to is sheer volume, it did not have an edge to it. Not like she'd expect from someone about to attack. She visible relaxed, but still maintained her position and caution.
Svid watched as Toma took to the air. She really had to learn how to do that. She'd never had a need for flight in the jungle. But out here it seemed to pose a significant disadvantage to be restricted to the ground.
"No. Svid not fly yet. Need learn. Svid sense. Hide. Use tail and energy. All Svid need in jungle. Svid need more here." A thought crept into Svid's mind. A question rather. It was a long shot. But if the answer was yes then she'd potentially solve one of her problems and determine if Toma was indeed friendly. Two birds in one stone. "Toma teach Svid fly?"

"Hm?" Toma asked. She had asked him to teach her how to fly. Why not, Toma figured. She seemed nice enough, and he enjoyed teaching. He lowered himself back on the ground, a warm, friendly smile on his face. "Sure, I will teach you." He spoke, before sitting down on the ground, crossing his legs. "Come, sit infront of me. Sit like I am." He said, bringing his hands together.
He wanted to see if she would follow his instructions. If she could, he would then go on about the first steps in flying.

Svid did as asked. Though not without hesitation. Carefully she got into position, ready to bolt at the slightest spike in Toma's Ki or any jerky movement on his part. When her legs were crossed she was already committed however. A moment later she exhaled heavily. If Toma had intended to kill her then it would be over by now.
"What now?" Svid asked, eager to get things started. It would be nice to not have to rely on the hovercar to get around any more. Plus it'd probably be faster and a lot more liberating to fly on her own through the air.

TOMA THE HERO Toma watched as she walked up towards him, cautiously. Toma thought that was a smart move. One could never be too careful, especially around people they didn't know very well. He smiled at her, easing his energy to try to get her to relax some. She would need to stay relaxed in order to master the ability of flight.
"Alright." Toma began. "You already know how to control your energy, so this should be easier for you than most other people." He said, as a small ball of golden Ki formed in his hands. "First, feel out the energy you use to make those lights. Then, instead of shooting it outwards like you normally do, center it inside of yourself." He said, as the dust around him formed in a circle in the air, as his energy lightly swirled around him. "Then, push it below you. After you have it centered below you, push yourself up!" He said, as he began to float in the air, smiling at her. "It'll take some practice, so don't beat yourself up about it if you don't get it right away."
