The timeless lookout was a place she once was able to fondly call home. Although she had felt rather embarrassed admitting it, Reikiko firmly believed that the sole reason she had become like this was because of the teachings of a certain man. While it was true that she had decided on her own path, the influence a certain Namekian held over her was far more powerful than anyone else could have ever been. It was understandable, in the end that Namekian was known to be like a father to her, and just like a child looks up to their parents for guidance, so did Reikiko see Scargot as a example for her to pursue. A man who could end conflicts with only words, a man who believed in the good of every being no matter how evil or tainted their actions or past might had been.
Nevertheless, Scargot had been missing for a long time. Although a human known as Bing took over the role, she found him lacking in the same type of qualities her father held, and yet his efforts had not gone unnoticed, leading her to call the man a 'Substitute Kami'. It was true that while Bing had the power to become a guardian, she had to ask herself whether he possessed the right mindset to be a true Kami. Then again, the fact he spared Zucceta despite her crimes might had been a sign that he was more of a Kami than she wanted to admit. Still, the knowledge that slowly but steadily her father was being replaced filled Reikiko with a certain feeling, perhaps concern? It had been only a few days since she encountered Jarvis and challenged him for the Dragon Balls in his possession, and it was during that battle she had for the first time in months heard Scargot's voice resound through her mind.
Of course she had been quick to make her way to the timeless lookout, the place she heard the voice come from, and yet little did she know that as she approached the lookout, a lot of things would be changing. Not just for her, but for the Earth as a whole. Her aura had been wrapped tightly around her body, a silver glow that illuminated her body while she slowly descended toward the platform where Kami's sanctuary had been stationed at.
Although she knew that her aura was vastly different from the one she had held for such a long time, she was certain that Scargot would recognize her presence without failure. In the end her energy felt a lot like how it had been after her body had been split into a light and dark vessel, and yet this time her presence was a lot stronger. Her feet gently landed on the stone tiles, her eyes cast around the nostalgic scenery. It had been a while since she visited this place, not because of any ill will toward Bing, but because she no longer felt welcome within this holy sanctuary. With Scargot missing Reikiko knew she had lost her place among the light, and with the events that had unfolded in her past it would take quite a while before she would be able to ever consider herself redeemed, if such a thing was even possible. Certainly, she had committed her evil for the sake of a greater good, but that wasn't the way others saw it. They only saw a monstrous creature who only desired power and chaos. It was tragic that once upon a time that had been a truthful statement, but ever since she had abandoned the dark power of the Makaioshin that fueled her body, in favor for the blessings of her Kaioshin father, Reikiko only desired three things: Peace, prosperity and the ability to protect the things dear to her.
"Was it really him? Or am I just being childish and chasing another dream?"
And yet amidst this blind chase for her father Reikiko couldn't help but feel that she was oddly at peace. There was no hatred for the fact Bing had replaced Scargot, no resentment for the fact he allowed Zucceta to live, there was only an innocent happiness at the feeling of her father's presence being nearby. She couldn't sense his exact location, but she could have sworn the Namekian was somewhere on the timeless lookout. Perhaps he was talking to Bing? Only time would tell...
