It was once again another casual day in hell, the young saiyan warrior Athren was up to his daily routine that he established once he had his body returned to him. He had been training hard as usual. Preparing for anything that the future might throw his way. His heavy weighted training gear was equipped as he was giving it his all. Though Athren had picked a change of scenary. Today he had decided to go near the blood fountain. He had hoped somebody would noticing him training and request a spar. Though few saw him, nobody had the courage to ask. Sure, training was always beneficial but Athren could only push himself so hard in a day without a force that would potentially put him to a stop. If he could find that challenge, then maybe.. just maybe Athren could reach new heights quicker. He couldn't help but wonder if there was a stage beyond that of a super saiyan, sure. He had never heard anything about it before and the rumours and legends only revolved around super saiyan but maybe there was something else?
If he focused on mastering his super saiyan, maybe he could become something even more devastating than just a super saiyan? Who knew what could happen. The potential of a super saiyan seemed almost endless.
At this very moment Athren had found himself in his base form working on his Nova Effect technique. His motions were flawless, swift and precise. His body cutting through the air like a warm knife slicing all so elegantly through butter. There was little resistance. His speed dominated his area of choice. Multiple copies of himself had been made, one after the other. All moving in a beautifully excecuted action that followed the original. At the very moment Athren couldn't pull more than one off at a time. By time he pulled off a second one, the first would've faded away. It wasn't that it was necessarily a hard thing to do, it just required some focus and he was too busy trying to observe his progress. Every single attempt that he had made at chaining multiple after-images together had so far ended the same. He'd turn his head to observe his creation and he simply wouldn't act in time to make a new one. It was slightly annoying as it wasn't supposed to be a difficult task. Regardless of the effort and time it was going to take Athren was going to see this through. He was going to follow through with his practice until his ideal technique was nothing more than an effortless excecution. It didn't matter if it took hours, or days. Athren would master this. Though he had good techniques as it was he really did want to expand. The more he knew the better off he was. He wanted a good variety of both offensive and defensive techniques to insure he'd have a very high chance of defeating even stronger foes. It wasn't rocket science. It wasn't just strength that gave one the power to win. Their were a number of factors that were put into play. Along with strengthcame intelligence. You had to fight smart while putting your everything into it. Swift and precise movements were a necessity. Speed and a good attitude. One also needed to be confident when they found themselves in battle. If you couldn't believe in yourself, how would you expect to pull of great feats? Half of the battle was mindset and attitude. If you didn't have the attitude that you could win, you wouldn't. It was simple as that.
A lot of fighters had believed if you had power, you had the victory. This wasn't true in all cases. Though extreme conditions of overwhelming power was a high chance of victory regardless of how intelligent the other person was.
Continuing with his training, the young saiyan followed through with countless more Nova Effects. One after the other Athren continued to pull them off. Each time he'd get a little bit closer to his ultimate goal. Five continued Nova Effect techniques that were back to back.
So far, in his time he'd managed to grow them at a plus two. Instead of having just one now, Athren could pull of a max off three smoothly and precisely. Though he was making progress he still had a little way to go. He had two more solid after images to go to get to where he wanted to be. He was positive he'd be able to pull it off by the end of the day. As the hours went by, Athren had continued his progress with the Nova Effect technique of his. He eventually chained together a maximum of four and hours after that Athren had managed to chain a maximum of five moving after-images together. His Nova Effect technique was perfected. Now, all he had to do was keep practicing it so it didn't grow to be a hassle. Last thing he'd want is to have it fail him in combat, that wouldn't have been an acceptible thing. It could've put him in a very bad position.Regardless, he was positive that it wasn't going to happen. Due to the simple fact that he's known his basic Nova Effects for quite some time and they had never let him down before. The only thing that let him down in the past was himself, and he wasn't going to let that happen again.
Now that he had completed his goal Athren took a moment to stop and take a short break. His ocean blue eyes scanned the landscape that was before him. When the had reached the blood fountain Athren had noticed something out of the ordinary. There was a tall figure, almost insect looking stepping on the head of one of the two orges Athren was getting so familiar with. Really? Even in death he continued his evil ways? Foolish, pathetic coward.
At least there wasn't a doubt why this insect ended up where he did. That made it feel all that much better that Athren was going to get himself involved and teach the creature a lesson. In an instant, Athren had faded from where he was standing.
By this point in time the large insect creature had decided to pick the ogre off the ground and toss him across the landscape. Though, fortunately for the ogre, Athren appeared right behind him to catch him. Athren's right hand firmly gripped the orges collar as he lifted the ogre back into a solid position that he could get his feet on the ground. "Get out of here, Now." Athren stated calmly as his ocean blue eyes looked towards the insect. The insect create had now raised an eyebrow at Athren. He didn't know why he did what he did but he thought that the young saiyan warrior was stupid for getting himself involved.
The insect creatures voice had a very echoing sound to it. It was also dark and squishy. The green eyes of the creature rested upon Athren as he began to walk over. Step by step he approached the young fighter. "Interfering with my play time. I suppose you'll be my next toy." It had said all so confidentially.
Athren simply smirked and crossed his arms warmly against his chest. "Beat it. You can't beat me. Also, I suggest you stop picking on the weak or I might just have to pound you into a pulp. Got it?" Athren said confidentially as well. His tone shining brightly over the tone of the insect creature. Though Athren didn't know if this thing was suppressing their power or not Athren was pretty content thinking that his super saiyan form would be overwhelming to this thing. Worst case scenario, he could take his heavy weighted training gear off too. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that though. Athren wanted to give this guy a quick lesson and get out. He wanted to train more techniques, he had to learn as much as he could. That way, if he had ever gotten out of here. He'd have a chance to make an impact on any threat that decided to but the Earth in harms way.
The creature then bared his fangs at the young saiyan. Razor sharp teeth that had a slight glimmer to them. They were a bright white. Not a stain to be seen. "I think I'll enjoy sinking my teeth into you after you've given up the fight." With that being said, the insect took his battle stance. His large, sharp, spiked tail flailed back and forth aggressively. "You're going to wish you didn't get involved in my playtime!" It was in that exact moment the tall insect creature launched himself forward at the saiyan warrior whom stood confidentially in his path.
Athren chuckled lightly and shook his head. He didn't believe that this was actually happening in hell. I mean, the crowd was right but really? This place was here for people like him. It was a painful place full of torture and hopelessness. Yet, this creature decides to use his time negatively and counter productively? Letting out a quick sigh Athren was about to finish this thing before it really started. Though the creature would've been moving too fast for most to see Athren could pick out his movement easily. In fact, it was almost like he was in a huge wind tunnel with everything pushing him back. Athren saw it in a slow motion, it was pathetic even. It was in this this exact moment that Athren knew it was over in a few quick hits. "Alright, We'll do this your way." He said calmy and awaited the perfect moment to strike.
As the creature finally closed the gap Athren was ready, the creatures fist lifted up as it had planned to bring it down straight upon Athren's hard skull. Athren had other plans though. Quickly he decided to step forward and crouch down for a slight moment. The creature had moved in position to be right above the young saiyan fighter. Athren took his opportunity like it was on a golden plate. Athren's right fist came up swiftly along with his body. His legs pushed up as he left his crouch to assume a regular standing position. His fist hitting it's mark into the creatures stomach. The creatures eyes went wide as his mouth opened to cough up blood and other bodily fluids. Athren quickly moved his position to the flank of the creature. Both of his hands moved onto it's tail and squeezed firmly with everything he had. Once the grip was firm and tight Athren swung his arms over his head and brought the creatures body into the ground below Athren's feet.
"Umhp! You win! Let me go!" was the only thing the creature had to say at this point as his body had collided with the ground. A small crator formed where his body had hit but that wasn't going to be the only one.
Athren brought his arms back over his head and smashed the insect down one more time. "Nah, You're not getting off that easily!" With that being said Athren began to spin around as quickly as he could. Whirling the creature in a tight circle. Around and around Athren continued to gain momentum as the creature helplessly spun along with him.
Finally, Athren had reached his peak momentum. He released his hands from the creatures tail and let him go spiralling madly through the air. Of course, his speed was incredible as he cleared a large portion of the landscape before the young saiyan in only seconds. Of course he had come to a sudden halt when he cut through yards of solid rock.
The creature was instantly knocked out and stuck in a large rock formation.
"That'll teach you." Athren mumbled.
Now that this was over with, Athren lifted himself off the ground using his Ki.
He now headed over to his excluded training position. Where he'd have zero distractions from his work. Hopefully, anyway. This was hell.
One never knew what could happen.
Boy, did he miss Earth. Hopefully he'd be back there one day.
