When the food arrived, Holo's face lit up like a christmas tree. He dug in immediately, eating quickly enough that it was a wonder he didn't choke. Shoveling food into his mouth as he was, Holo didn't get the chance to answer Articho's questions for several minutes. Swallowing, Holo briefly paused to think about his answer. "Uhh, Dr. Yumi plays chess with me sometimes. Nobody else does, though. I guess they're just too busy." he looked briefly a bit conflicted, before continuing on with his response. "My family is a little mean sometimes, but their work is very important."

Artichci smiled at Holo as the boy began to dig into his pancakes. "Slow down there, kiddo," he said with a laugh. "Did you even taste the food?" It made him happy to see Holo not so scared anymore, though the reason was partially because it made getting information out of him. "In what ways are they mean? What do they do for work?" he pressed, completely forgoing his sandwich.

Holo considered the question for a moment before answering simply "Well, they don't like it when I go outside, because I might get hurt or lost. I guess they were right." Holo paused to shovel a few more chunks of food into his mouth before continuing with "I'm not really sure what they do exactly, but I know it's important."

"Seems like they shelter you a lot," Articho commented. "It's weird that they don't let a little boy go outside and play. Are there any other kids where you live?" He had the feeling that Holo might not be the only one. He wasn't a scientist, but he knew that you don't have only one trial for experiments. Of course, there was always the possibility that he was overreacting and nothing was wrong. Holo may be some sort of test tube baby thing, but his creators may not be cruel to him or any others that may be at the lab. "Does it involve you? Do they do anything dangerous?" he probed again.
