Taiga's vision seems to come into focus... what is this place, Taiga wonders?
"Please, everyone! Keep in line!" booms a rather annoying voice through a megaphone. A strange blue, horned being wearing very business-like attire seems to be directing a line of... clouds? "Hey there! No shoving! You'll go straight to hell if you don't behave!"
Taiga looks behind himself, and discovers that there is a huge line of these clouds behind him as well! Confused, Taiga tries to look at his hands, but then realizes that he has none! Like these other things, he had become some kind of small, fluffy cloud! Two and two clicks together in his head. He must have died. He isn't sure how long he is in line for; he had simply lost track of time as the realization that, with his death, mean't Kanassa was likely also conquered...
A coward, and a failure. This is what he was. What he is. Taiga wonders if Yuki and Polar had managed to escape the carnage. From the looks of it, Taiga doubts he'll be able to find them; not if everyone looks like this. After what was probably hours, Taiga reaches some kind of temple-like structure. He is ushered in by more of those, Ogres he vaguely remembers hearing, and into an enormous room. If he still had his jaw, it would drop; behind a gigantic desk is an even more gigantic red being wearing a purple suit!
"This is King Yemma!" says an assistant happily. "Please, tell him your greatest act, and your worst act! Your case will weigh in on whether or not you go to the Upper World or to Hell!"
Taiga is silent for a moment.
"Greatest act?" Taiga wonders out loud. Thinking back, he really couldn't pinpoint anything in particular. "My entire life was dedicated to serving my Empire, my Empress. I was a soldier. The only thing I can think of that can be considered an act of good will, would be when I refused to kill a child. I was young, undisciplined, and too empathetic. Or so my commander told me. My commander ordered me to kill the child, and so I did, and the mission to purge the planet went uninhibited while I was returned to Arcose for further de-sensitivity training."
It was far easier to pick out his worst act.
"I am a coward, and a failure." Taiga tells the giant that is King Yemma. "When my homeworld, Arcose, came under attack, I fled. I abandoned my Empress and my world. And then, when the Saiyans came to Kanassa, I was, clearly, killed. Though I hope I was able to give enough time for those seeking to escape the planet."
Otherwise, what good was I? Taiga can't help but think to himself...
