Raisu was starting to get suspicious, specially due to BREU’s latest fit of rage. He then began to interrogate the cyborg, trying to obtain more information about this said murderer. – “Let me shee…” – BREU scratches his chin and looks up as he appears to actually rummage through his memories to try and give Raisu an actual description of this shady character. – “Uh… It was a man… wash kinduff tall… didn’t look much like the townsfolk’ere eitharr… Me thinks he may be a traveler like ush too. I tell ya already he seemed pretty badassh? Dan-ju-rous kindov gai. I dunno why you would wanna talk to dis fella” – BREU states his apparent concern.

His description was vague. Too vague. It would be of no help to Raisu, thought it wasn't like he expected anything else. He was drunk, and seemed to be a bit angry. But he might as well try and get more out of him, while they still had time to reach the site. They were getting closer now, and the clock was ticking.
"I'm curious to meet him, see if he really is a badass like you said," he said. It was a lie. At least partially. Of coruse, he did want to meet him. But it was so he could kick his teeth down his throat. He felt his neck muscles tighten again. Deep breathing, he reminded himself. There'd be time for anger later. Time to ask him more about this "badass". A strange choice fo words for a murderer, now that he thought about it. He'd once heard it said that drinking revealed your true self. Perhaps he knew the killer and was trying to protect him? Was he leading Raisu in the wrong direction? Well, too late to question it now.
"What else can you tell me about him? Like, do you know why he did this? And how did he do this?"
Perhaps he could confirm some info to give him the tactical edge.

Raisu continued his inquire, trying to raise as much information as he could about his target. He stated his desire to meet this “murderer”. BREU continued playing along: – “Ya ssshee… Me never reelly talked face-to-face with’im, so I kent sshay for sshure why h-*hiccup* he deed it. Maybe den tried to poison him too and he turned out to not be a keel guy ash me” – He finishes this sentence with more sobbing. After a pause of a couple of seconds he continued. – “Now how he deed did it, dat me knows well” – BREU turns to Raisu with a theatrical expression to emphazise his little tale. – “Gai simply raises his hand against evrywan and den it lights up with dis bright glow. Next thing I know, da town’s redushed to deebrees… Dats gotta be a pretty strong fella, eh?” – BREU asks.

Between the slurred words and sobbing, Raisu understood little of what was said. But he did have confirmation on one of his suspicions: he was searching for someone capable of energy attacks. Strong ones too. He'd known it from the start, but the lack of strong energy signatures had put him off. The killer must be hiding themselves somehow. He just didn't understand how. Sure, one could mask their own ki. Raisu was a practitioner of that skill himself, but to sense nothing, even in the moment of attack? Odd.
"I see. And how did you survive all this?"

Next, it came the one-million dollars (or should I say zeni?) question: if BREU was close enough to see the guy, by the moment he shot his attack (considering what he was saying was true), then why didn’t he get obliterated along with the town and its folk? – “Like me said… I’mma pretty strong fella meself. Blast sent me flyin’ ‘way… but been through worse end syrvived. Sshee?” – BREU explains, rasising his mechanical arm to illustrate his point.

So, he was mechanical. That would explain the lack of ki signature. Raisu had had encounters with mechanical people before. It would also explain his durability. It was plausible, he had to admit. Even if Raisu didn't feel right about it, it was most definitely possible.
"I see. Quite the impressive story. I wonder how much you'll remember when the hangover hits you."

BREU smirks at the comment about all the drinking he had today getting to him the next morning. – “Heh… Me says that’s bullcrap. Sayin’ you furget things just cuz ya drenk is stupid. Peeple make that sheet up to con-ve-new-ently eerase da stuff dem be ‘sshamed of. Me? Me always remembah…” – BREU says.
By now, they were already surrounded by the wreckage of the buildings affected by BREU’s tekila shot. At one point BREU stopped walking, standing beside his new acquaintance. He looks forward, adreassing Raisu without actually turning his head to face the redheaded man. – “Dis is da place. Wats left ovit, I meen” –

BREU certainly seemed confident in his ability to remember the night's events. And perhaps he would. Maybe the mechanical aspects of his body gave him some edge in staving off the effects of alcohol.
They reached the wreckage. It was a mix of rubble and ash. Death and destruction were kings in this place. He squatted and took up a handful of scorched earth, feeling it, slowly letting it fall from his fingers. The black cascade of dirt and ash left behind a stain on his hand. He stood up, and cast an uneasy eye over the destruction.
"So, this is it? How awful."

As the android indicates they arrived at their destination, Raisu proceeds to inspect the surroundings, grabbing a bit of the mixture of ash and sand the town was reduced to in order to analyze it. BREU remains silent, standing still as the youngster does so. Soon enough this whole play would reach an end. The cyborg then hurries the man as he makes his statement about the looks of the scenery. – “Indeed… Now why dontcha just go end say whatcha wanted to the killa already so ya can 'move on to a bettar place', uh?” –
If Raisu was aware of BREU’s intentions, he would surely get the euphemism. The android steps ahead, standing beside the redhead again.

Damn, why was this guy being so pushy? If he wanted to know so bad, it could wait. Couldn't he see there were more important matters to tend to? He stepped closer to Raisu, standing beside him now. And now Raisu's odd feeling intensified, as if... Something was amiss. He was sure of it now. He looked sideways at BREU and then it occurred to him. Why hadn't he realized it? Drunk, angry mechanical alien. It all made sense now. He turned to face BREU now, and backed away. Putting himself in a fighting stance and letting any pretense of ki suppression drop.
"Well, I didn't plan on saying much. I just planned on teaching him a lesson."
His blood surged through his veins and his heart began to bear ever faster. Now, he decided, was the time to embrace his angry side.

BREU wondered for how much longer he could play Raisu for a fool. It seemed that they would be dropping the subtleties for good now; As BREU approaches the young warrior, it seems as though he has just been bathed in a wave of ectoplasm, giving him the shivers as he suddenly stands up and backs away from BREU getting into a defensive stance. It was pretty clear to the android that “Beetroot” had figured out BREU’s identity by now, judging by the look in his face. Suddenly, his ki began to flow, causing symbols and glyphs transfigure themselves into numbers within BREU’s mental screen; it was his internal scouter alerting him the redhead’s increasingly higher power level. It seemed this man wasn’t a common human after all. But BREU wasn’t worrying much about it. That was because according to the device, Raisu’s power level was in the fourteen thousands. BREU’s own was in the early seventeen thousands. And his ego was much higher than that shielding his better sense and granting him his always presence overconfidence in his ability to overpower his opponents. BREU smirks at the course of action taken by his new acquaintance. – “Hehehe… Den I guessh I ssshould allow ya to make da furst move. Ya know… ash a courtesy for keepin' me company till we get to yor grave” – BREU teases his now-opponent. Amazingly enough, he keeps his drunken pose, even now that a real battle seemed about to begin.

Raisu could feel a power in him rising. It seemed that his blood was finally alight with the flames of battle. This was the man responsible. An android it seemed. Why was it always androids? He had no way to gauge BREU's power. But damn if he cared. He'd been wanting to hurt the perpetrator all night. And how lucky was he that he presented himself right in front of Raisu.
He growled, a deep animalistic noise. No need for words. He knew exactly what he wanted to do. He ran towards the machine and jumped, his leg extended in front of him for a kick. Regardless of whether or not he dodged, Raisu was just getting started.

That was it; the theater was over. Raisu finally got to figure out his enemy and his resolve to teach him a lesson seemed to burn along with the same fire that seized his ki, causing the man’s energy shoot up in the scouter’s device, until it stabilizes at its top. Raisu also seemed to welcome BREU’s “courtesy” and doesn’t even flinch before delivering the first blow of that combat: a flying kick. BREU doesn’t move. The attack hits him head on, right in his chest, causing the drunkard to slide across the terrain, being pushed back for a few meters before he stops. The wicked robot manages to stand still throughout the whole process. Imagine one of those anime scenes, where you’re looking at a character with his head inclined down and a shadow is over his face so you can’t see his eyes. This illustrate the scene pretty well. BREU then slowly raises his his head revealing himself to be grinning; His eyes and Raisu’s once again meet. – “Heh… ya do look like a kid… an’ certainly hits like wan… Why dontcha try again. Like a real man now” – BREU teases the warrior again.
OOC: Just a note, I'm not ignoring the damage from your attack. BREU is just acting tough with Raisu, to piss him off even more!

Raisu dropped to the ground as BREU slid back, quickly taking a knee before immediately jumping back to his feet. It has been a hit, a good, clean hit. Just as he'd hoped, but something was amiss. The robot seemed entirety unfazed. He stood there as if nothing had happened, and the only evidence that the attack had ever occurred were the ruts in the ground that he had left as he slid.
And now he taunted Raisu. He hit like a child? He'd show him. His instinctual pride demanded he respond. He charged and screamed an unintelligible battle cry. He was truly sorry in the zone now, his mind focused on one single thing: giving this scum what he deserved.
He'd close the distance and aim an upper cut for the robot's stomach, see how he liked that.

The cyborg smiled as his psychological harassment seems to have gotten to the once calm warrior. The man screams and charges at BREU again, readying another attack as the robot brenchian asked himself. Dashing, is a fraction of a second Raisu is within melee range again, aiming a blow at the android’s stomach. This time however, BREU wouldn’t allow himself to be hit so easily. Throwing the weight of his upper body to the side and turning, the alien manages to narrowly dodge the attack. He did leave his hand in place though, aimed at about the height of Raisu’s chest. With his palm showing, the android’s fist lights up for a moment and a ball of energy would form in there. If it worked, the orb of ki would drag the fighter back for a little while before exploding.
