Lunar remembered clearly the last time he had been in this forest. He had come to check out the tower that would eventually lead up to the lookout, home to the Guardian of Earth. His last visit here had put him in opposition with a Saiyan, one who he theorized knew of the Guardian's existence and yet had refused to divulge that information to him. In the end, though Lunar felt no fear for the man, he knew in a direct confrontation he could not win, and thus had decided to withdraw.
Now things had changed. Lunar could no longer sense his power level. He had gone to the man's home and had found no trace of him. It looked like he had been gone for some time. He didn't know what caused him to leave, but Lunar wasn't complaining. With him out of the way, Lunar had nobody to interfere with him.
He now stood atop one of the forest's many trees, somehow balancing on top as he looked up at the tower before him. He knew the Guardian was up there, from here Lunar could sense something all the way up in the sky. The question was now how to get up there? Lunar lacked the ability to fly, and he had doubts about him acquiring a vehicle enabling himself to fly up there. He could climb, but that would take a very long time. Plus, who said that the man hadn't warned the Guardian about him? There were a number of problems, and Lunar was at a loss to find an answer.
And so he stood atop that tree, pondering. What would be his next move?

Serene walked through her forest home, examining the flowers, watching the animals as they went about their daily habits. This was how she had taken to distracting herself. It was something to do, something to take her mind off of the rush of regret she constantly felt. These simple actions brought a smile to her face, that was enough. Today in particular she had been on her way to check on a group of flowers she thought had quite the beautiful smell to them. The scent was pleasent to her, eased her feelings.
This time however, the teen could make out something besides the flower's scent that interested her. On her way back, she saw a man... atop a tree. Sure other human's were common enough in the woods but... they didn't all sit atop trees staring into space. Usually it was just weird tourists or something, well she assumed they were tourists anyway, they certantly left the forest quick enough for that to be the case. Still she supposed that was the difference between this guy and the 'tourists'. They rushed through the forest without care. This guy? He was just sitting atop a tree and staring off. She wasn't sure if it was the sky, the forest, or even just a particuarly interesting animal running by.
What she DID know was the person was a human, or at least looked as much. Sure he was a stranger but she was alone... lonely without interaction aside from the animals. She knew she wasn't SUPPOSED to talk to them but really? Whats the worst that could happen? She joins her father in oblivion? Not such a bad thing in her mind. So, rather than simply walk away she instead made her way to the tree's front, her gaze going up towards the stranger.
"Hey ummm... you ok up there"
Yep, clearly she had mastered the art of communication to a masterful degree.... playing with the animals was way easier.

A voice below pulled Lunar from his thoughts on the tower. He looked down, seeing a young woman standing far below, looking up at her. Strange, he hadn't expected anyone here. She didn't seem like a threat though. From what he could sense, her power was far below his own, not that she'd know that.
However, as he looked at the girl below, there was something he noticed about her. Though she looked human, there was something about the energy she gave off that seemed unusual. It wasn't the dark taint of the demonic. In fact, it seemed like the complete opposite. It seemed almost, pure. It brought a smile to the red head's face. A very unusual specimen indeed.
With unusual grace, Lunar leaped off of the top of the tree, landing nimbly on his feet on the forest floor below, right in front of the girl. Turning to her, the man's red eyes looked over her from behind his shades, like looking over a very interesting insect in his collection. "Well well," he spoke up, "What have we here. Wasn't expecting to see anyone out in this place."

Did he not hear her? Or did he just choose not to answer her? Ether way he DID notice her. That much was apparant with his rather... flexiable decent to reach her. His stare made her feel rather uncomfertable. It didn't really help that she coudn't actually SEE the eyes that were staring back at her. She could.... certanaly see how he got up the tree to begin with though! Even his words were unsettling, they gave the feeling of an animal stalking prey. She coudn't just ignore him though. She had already broken fathers no stranger rule... so it... probaly woudn't hurt right?
"Yes I live here.... we don't usually get visiters, or that is to day visiters who sit among the trees"
She didn't really feel comfertable saying her name to him, as much as introductions helped communication, she didn't really want a bunch of outside strangers knowing her name, the thought just felt... wrong. So instead she decided she would help the man get whatever it was he was searching for and then, hopefully he'd just leave-it was that simple right?
Oh if only things ever were.
