(Heavy Weights on)
(X40 Gravity Training)
Yuki gasped for air as she jumped up from her nightmare. She grabbed her face with both her hands. Yuki brought her knees up to her chest as she tried not to think about her nightmare. I must get back to training Yuki thought she got herself out of bed and dressed in her training outfit which was an all-black jumpsuit and saiyan armor. She put her heavy weights on. She tied her blonde hair up into her usual pigtails. Yuki peeked into Yu’s room to find it empty. He always gets a head start before me Yuki thought.
She walked into the gravity chamber room. Yuki could smell an oil smell in the air but brushed it off not really thinking much of it. She walked up to the gravity chamber. She placed both her hands on it and took deep breaths. Forty times gravity, that’s what it was in my nightmare. I need to master it in case the King somehow can change the gravity on this planet during our fight Yuki thought. She then pushed the button making the gravity in the chamber go forty times. “Wait!” Yuki yelled up at Kasai. “Is it true that killing the King won’t release the black hole around the planet…” Yuki asked hoping to stall time. She tried to keep herself together but she noticed Kasai stopped putting as much pressure on Yuki’s chest.
“Who told you that?” Kasai asked as she gave Yuki a curious look.
“I’ll tell you if you let me sit up,” Yuki said slowly hoping this would work. Kasai seemed willing and lifted her foot off from Yuki’s chest.
Yuki took a few slow breaths and slowly pushed up into a sitting position. “Did you ever hear about the boy who had lizard eyes and he turned into two of them. The clone had shark teeth and couldn’t talk?” Yuki asked as she tried her best to describe him. Kasai walked around as she seemed to be lost in thought.
“No but he’s the one who told you this?” Kasai asked as she stopped and looked down at Yuki.
Yuki nodded her head. “I don’t know if he was telling the truth or not. At this point I feel like anything could be possible. I just don’t understand why the prisoners don’t work together. With all our power level we could beat him for sure,” Yuki said as she tried to win over Kasai. Yuki noticed something was changing with Kasai. She sat down a few feet away from Yuki. She released her flame sword. And rested back onto her hands with her legs stretched out in front of her. What? This is good Yuki thought.
“I’m tired of fighting, Yuki. My brother and I have been here for a long time. I meant when I said I want to go home. The King see’s my brother and I as the strongest, well until you and Yu showed up. He’s taken a liking to the both of you. He wanted to send the best to try and kill you both but I’m tired of doing what he tells me to do. I’ve killed more lives on the planet than I have in my entire life. I’m tired and I can feel myself drifting away,” Kasai said in a low voice as she stared at her hands.
“King Yurei starts to get inside your head. He’ll haunt your dreams until you won’t want to sleep anymore. People here slowly go insane. The longer you’re alive the more power he gets over you. My brother,” Kasai said as she looked to the side. Yuki could see a small tear escaping her eye. The tear runs down her face. “He doesn’t remember me, I don’t know what happened but one day I tried to talk to him and he looked me straight in the eye and asked who I was,” Kasai said as she buried her face in her hands and cried.
Yuki slowly crawled over to Kasai but then she stopped. “I can’t imagine how I would feel if Yu forgot about me, I’m so sorry Kasai,” Yuki said as she stood up slowly. I know what will make her feel better Yuki thought.
“Kasai lets train?” Yuki asked as she jumped up. The gravity was still at times forty. Yuki held a hand down towards Kasai.
Kasai wiped her tears away as she took Yuki’s hand. She nodded her head. Both girls got into a fight stance. “This is for fun,” Yuki said making sure Kasai wouldn’t try anything. Kasai gave a small smile and nodded her head. “Kasai, why don’t we take the King on together? We can get a group of other strong fighters together.” Yuki suggested as the two girls became to fight.
Yuki went to punch Kasai in the face with her right fist. Kasai blocked it and sent a left punch towards Yuki’s face. Yuki caught Kasai fist and twisted it making Kasai fall to her knees, Kasai than punched Yuki in the gut with her right fist. Yuki gasped and let go of Kasai left hand.
“How come you never learned how to fly, Kasai?” Yuki asked as she ducked a right kick. Yuki did a back flip and landed on both her feet. Kasai charged at Yuki and was able to get a right punch into Yuki’s face. Yuki flew up into the air as she rubbed her face where she got hit.
Kasai wiped the sweat from her forehead with the back of her right hand. “I’m…I’m afraid of heights. I fell off a tree when I was three and ever since that day I've been afraid of heights,” Kasai admitted as her cheeks gave a small blush. She looked down at her feet. “I hate flying in space, but I tell myself it doesn’t count since there’s no ground in space,” Kasai continued to say. Yuki landed on her feet.
“I like flying, it makes me feel free,” Yuki said as she held her arms out into the air. Kasai then went to punch Yuki in the face but Yuki blocked it and punched Kasai with her right fist into her face. Yuki gave a small smile. Why do I feel like this friendship won’t last? Yuki thought as she got a sad feeling. The two continued to do their training for a little longer. Kasai was able to get a double kick into Yuki’s gut sending her back. Yuki hit the wall and fell to the floor. She looked down at her chest and noticed the cut was starting to heal.
At least the bleeding had stopped a while ago Yuki thought. “I must admit I like your technique. I’ve never seen the lava whip one before,” Kasai said as she fell to the ground too.
“My aunt taught me it…well she introduced it to me,” Yuki said as she thought about her Aunt back on Earth.
“Must be nice to have family other than your brother…” Kasai said in the distance. Yuki pushed herself up and slowly made her way to the gravity panel. She turned off the gravity chamber. Her body finally feeling the release of the forty times gravity. Yuki let her body sink to the floor. She kept her heavy weights on though.
“Kasai, how did you and your brother get caught on this planet? What’s your story?” Yuki asked as she felt her body become extremely tired. A story would be nice Yuki thought. Kasai looked just as tired as Yuki. She gave a small yawn.
“Well it all started…” Kasai began to tell her story.
(Kasai and Ouri Story)
Kasai and Ouri were born on the planet Earth eighteen years ago. The minute they were born a scientist took the babies away. Both of their parents were paid for letting their children be tested on. While Kasai and Ouri were in their mom’s womb, doctors were busy injecting them with different fluids. A mad scientist named Dr. Ron was behind all of this. He wanted to create a better type of human species, one that could develop powers and become evil. For Kasai and Ouri's parents, they thought it was a field test.
Their mother asked to see her children. She demanded to have them brought back. She decided the money didn’t matter. She’d rather be poor then go on not being able to watch her babies grow up. That’s when a man entered the room and killed both of the parents. Dr. Ron gave an evil laughed as he took the two babies to his laboratory. He continued to do experiments on them until he was satisfied.
Within a few years, he realized the boy he called Ouri was able to develop oil and tar from his hands. The girl he called Kasai was able to create flames. When the kids were old enough, they asked if Dr. Ron if he was their father and he told them yes. At the time, the children were eight.
“Hey dad, how come we never visit any of our other family? We’re always locked up in this lab,” Kasai asked as she sat in a chair with her head rested on her hand. Ouri was busy training as he worked on using his oil technique.
Dr. Ron walked over to Kasai. “Your mother abandoned you. How many times must I have to tell you this? Kasai, I am your only family. There is no one else,” Dr. Ron said as he gave Kasai a pat on the head. Kasai felt tears come to her eyes. It’s not fair Kasai thought.
“Now, get back to your training,” Dr. Ron said as he stood Kasai up and gave her a little push in the back. Kasai wiped her tears away and started to work on her flame technique.
For years, Kasai and Ouri trained as Dr. Ron watched over them. They both never really got to leave the lab only on some days. Dr. Ron would take the kids out for a hike along the mountain by them. Kasai would make it to the top first and look beyond. She would always wish for something more. She wished to be free from this life. Kasai started to resent her father for never letting them go out.
At the time Kasai and Ouri are now thirteen. “It’s not fair, dad. Why must we be locked away? Why can’t we live in a normal house? Why can’t Ouri and I go to an actually school WITH other kids? I just…I just want to feel normal,” Kasai argued with Dr. Ron.
“You want to leave? Then fine! Go! I’ve had enough of your disgraceful attitude. I have done nothing but raised you two kids. I’ve trained you to be one of the best fighters and yet you want more from me. Kasai, I’m tired of your complaining,” Dr. Ron yelled back at Kasai.
Kasai ran to her room and backed her backpack. She then ran out of the laboratory. Kasai didn’t know where she was going but anywhere would be better then there. Ouri didn’t follow her though. Lately, her brother and her didn’t speak much. For three days, Kasai wandered around not really knowing where she was going. Kasai decided it wasn’t worth it anymore. She slowly made it back to where the laboratory was located.
As Kasai walked in, Dr. Ron looked at her. He held his arms out and Kasai ran into his hug. “I’m sorry, dad,” Kasai said as tears ran down her face.
“It’s okay. Your brother went looking for you after you left. We’ll wait till he gets back and we’ll start your next phase of training,” Dr. Ron aid.
After that day, Kasai and Dr. Ron had a better relationship. Kasai and Ouri were close again as they fought side by side. Within a few years, Dr. Ron built a house near the lab and all three of them lived there. On training days they would head to the laboratory. Dr. Ron was proud of his two experiments but watching them grow up he developed a close bound with both of them. He really did see them as his own kids. Kasai and Ouri never found out about what happened to their parents.
When Kasai and Ouri both turned sixteen, Dr. Ron decided it was time for them to start venturing out. He had built them their own spaceship to travel through space. He knew the twins were strong enough now to take on other species. He had heard that some planets held tournaments and he knew his twins would be strong enough to win.
Kasai had tears in her eyes as she hugged her father. “Do we really have to go, dad?” Kasai asked as she pulled out of the hug. Ouri hugged his dad next.
“Yes, you’ll be fine. Make me proud. Come home and tell me all your stories, I’ll be here when you get back,” Dr. Ron told the twins.
They both got into the spaceship and took off. Dr. Ron watched until he couldn’t see the spaceship anymore. The real reason why Dr. Ron had sent off the twins was because his old colleagues were starting to hunt down Dr. Ron They wanted the twins to be brought in to see their progress over their lifetime but Dr. Ron was done with his test. He didn’t want the twins to have to go through that life anymore.
“Be safe,” Dr. Ron said as he walked back into his lab.
For the six months, the wins traveled through space. Kasai noticed a strange atmosphere ahead of them. She tried to steer the ship into the other direction but it was too late. There spaceship got pulled in and they landed on a planet that they couldn’t see just moments before.
As Kasai, slowly got up she looked over to make sure Ouri was okay. Both twins slowly exited the spaceship. In front of them, stood a huge colosseum and around them there were other spaceships that were landed.
“Let’s check it out,” Ouri said as he started to walk towards the Colosseum. Kasai couldn’t help but get a really bad feeling as she followed her brother. They both entered the Colosseum. As they reached the arena they looked down to see two people fighting. Kasai noticed a namekian sitting on the opposite side watching the fight with a curious look. He was the only one watching the fight.
“Ouri, we should get out of here,” Kasai said as she started to back up. “This place…” Kasai continued to say but then she backed into something. Kasai jumped and turned around to see a giant ogre standing before her. Her mouth dropped. Within the distance, the fight had ended.
King Yurei spoke up, “Bring them to me.” The ogre grabbed Kasai and Ouri and started to walk around towards the king. Both twins struggled trying to get free from the ogre’s grip but it was hopeless. He dropped both of them on the ground before the king.
“Well, look at this. I have more fighters to fight in my tournament. You two are special though. I have heard about you both before. I can sense your power level is very strong,” the king said as he stood up.
“Sir, it is an honor,” Ouri said as he gave the king a smirk. Kasai didn’t feel the same way.
“We can leave once we fight, right?” Kasai asked the King. She watched as the King’s eyes seemed to go dark.
“The only way you’ll be able to leave is if you win the tournament. You would then have to face me but if you both work for me for a while then I’ll let you leave my black hole,” King Yurei said as he gave a smile. Black hole? Kasai thought.
“Alright, Ouri you’re up first,” King Yurei said. He then pointed to the ogre. “Take Kasai to the dungeon for now. She’ll fight after her brother,” King Yurei said as he then sat back down on his thrown. Kasai watched as her brother gave a smile and entered the arena. Kasai was taken to the dungeon to wait on her turn. For the next year and a half, the twins are still stuck on the planet. The King still hasn’t let them go home after beating almost everyone. They haven’t gotten their chance to fight the King yet.
(End of Kasai and Ouri Story)
“I was sure a few days ago, the King was going to let us finally fight him but then you and Yu showed up. At first I was furious, I was so ready to end this but now I see that we’d probably never leave this planet. King Yurei uses my brother and I to take down the one’s he feels threaten about. My brother Ouri got brain washed by the King and he sees this planet as his knew life,” Kasai finished as she buried her head into her hands.
Yuki had sat and listened to Kasai's story. A year and six months they’ve been stuck here. I refuse to be stuck on this planet for that long Yuki thought.
Her heavy weights on her became much heavier with the gravity. Yuki struggled to keep herself standing. Her legs gave out as she fell onto her butt. Ouch Yuki thought. For some reason, Yuki got a bad feeling inside but wasn’t sure what it was. She shook her head as she remembered she needed to master this gravity. Yuki struggled to pick herself up as she placed both hands on the ground and tried to push up with her right foot. Yuki grabbed onto the panel table as she started to stand up. Inch by inch her body moved slowly. Yuki than used her arms to push up from the panel table.
Yuki took a deep breath as she finally stood straight up in gravity times forty. “I have to work on my movement first,” Yuki said out loud. She tried to stretch her arms up but with the heavy weights on she couldn’t move them much. Yuki used her inner strength as she slowly made her arms move up into the air. She then slowly let them come back to her sides. She did this over and over starting to get her arm movement back. Yuki then wanted to start working on moving her feet.
“One step at a time,” Yuki said as she tried to move her right foot forward. Her foot dragged along the chamber floor not being able to actually lift off from the ground much. Yuki then tried to lift her left foot up but it did the same thing. Yuki had to keep her balance; it felt like her boots were made out of concrete. She was starting to get frustrated. With each step she used all her strength to walk properly but the weights and the gravity seemed too much. I just have to get used to it Yuki thought.
After trying to walk around for a while, Yuki was able to lift her feet a few inches off from the ground. Yuki wanted to attempt lunges next. She decided it be better to go into her times two now. She stood straight up. Yuki then picked up her right foot and placed it in front of her enough so that her left knee just barely touched the floor. She realized getting back up would be the tricky part. Her left leg started to shake as Yuki tried to step back. She was able to but almost lost her balance from lifting her right foot up. She now repeated the same process with her left leg doing a lunge.
Yuki knew these simple workouts probably didn’t seem like a lot of help but there was a trick behind it. These movements got her body able to move in the forty times gravity and with her heavy weights on. Yuki thought it was a smart idea in her gravity training. With each lunge, Yuki struggled when trying to stand up. Her body was covered in sweat again but she felt good.
Once Yuki felt she had done enough lunges she stopped. Next she would work on doing squats. Yuki spread out her legs. The trick for doing a squat is to pretend you’re about to sit down but not actually sitting down. Yuki felt as if she had a ton of weight on her back as she did one squat. Her legs were a bit shaky. She had to make sure her knees didn’t bend too much or she would end up falling back. The weights were starting to dig into Yuki’s skin again as she continued to do squats. Yuki felt herself become tired as her legs gave out and she fell onto the ground hard.
“Okay, maybe squats was pushing it,” Yuki said to no one. She wiped the sweat from her face as she laid on her right side. She could feel her leg muscles hurting from the training she’d been doing. How will I be able to fight the King if I can’t get used to forty times gravity Yuki thought. Come on Yuki get your butt up Yuki told herself as she slowly started to sit up. “I am getting a little better at forty times gravity,” Yuki said out loud.
I wonder where Yu is though Yuki started to think. Within the distance, Yuki heard a faraway scream of pain. For a second, Yuki thought it could be Yu’s. No the king said we would get three days of training Yuki thought. What am I thinking? Who says I could ever trust a word that king says Yuki continued to think. Yuki picked herself up so she was standing. She started to walk towards the gravity panel when she heard a small chuckle from behind her.
“You can’t save your brother. You’ll have to go through me first,” Yuki heard a female voice said from behind her. She must have kept her ki hidden from me as she snuck into the spaceship. How long as she been here watching me? Yuki thought. Yuki slowly turned around to face her next competitor.
It was one of the twins Yuki had heard about while she was locked in the dungeon. Her name was Kasai. She was able to turn her ki into flames and burn people with them. Kasai was wearing a red jumpsuit with her siayian armor on top of it. Her hair was a bright red color. Yuki wondered if the brother was off fighting Yu somewhere. Yu will be okay Yuki thought. Yuki slowly started to move towards the panel remembering she was still in forty times gravity.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” Kasai said as she held her hand up and pointed it directly at Yuki. Her hand burst into flames and was ready to attack Yuki if she moved a step closer. Yuki paused and realized her pl was suppressed due to her heavy armor. She could possibly dodge the attack but still get injured in the process. Yuki clenched her fist and turned back around to face Kasai.
“So you want to fight?” Yuki asked. She tried to make sure Kasai didn’t see Yuki struggling. Yuki could feel her heavy weights digging into her skin. Her muscles were already tired from her workouts earlier.
“Nope, I want to go home. In order for me to go home, I have to kill you so my brother and I can face the King and kill him. See I’m used to this gravity and you’re not. If you surrender to me I’ll make sure your death is a quick one,” Kasai said. Yuki noticed that Kasai’s eyes were a bright red.
“Why not make it a fair fight?” Yuki said as she got into a fight stance.
“I don’t play fair,” Kasai said as she charged towards Yuki. I have to give this my all or I’ll die Yuki thought.
Yuki pushed off from the chamber ground as hard as she could. She was able to get out of the way. She kept herself high up in the air and realized that Kasai didn’t follow her. She can’t fly? Yuki thought.
“You can’t stay up there all day, eventually you’ll have to come down. Well I can make this a fun training session for you before you die,” Kasai said as she threw a flame ball towards Yuki.
Yuki flew out of the way. She heard another flame ball coming towards her and ducked under it. She then noticed Kasai walk towards the panel and turn on the reflector mirrors. No Yuki thought. Yuki watched as all the mirrors appeared. Kasai gave a small laugh as she threw three flames balls against the mirrors. Yuki started flying around dodging the flames balls from bouncing back and forth between her. Sweat was starting to drip down Yuki’s face. Two of the flame balls were coming at her from behind and the other one was coming towards her from the front.
She was able to dodge the first one from behind as the second one sliced across Yuki’s chest. Yuki screamed out and flew up towards the ceiling dodging the other flame ball that was behind her. A small gash was across Yuki’s chest. The cut wasn’t deep though. Yuki watched as the three flame balls bounced around. Yuki formed her lava whip into both of her arms. The chains appeared and wrapped around Yuki’s arms.
As flame ball number one came, Yuki threw her chain through it making the flame ball dissolve. Yuki than destroyed the other two flame balls as they came towards her. Kasai was watching Yuki with a curious look.
“How are you still able to fly in this gravity?” Kasai asked as she rubbed her chin with her left hand.
“After a while my body gets used to the gravity. You probably should have shown your face sooner when I was still struggling,” Yuki said in a stern voice. I’m not sure how much longer I can go though. My body needs rest Yuki thought as she clenched her fist. Yuki then threw her right arm chain and wrapped it around Kasai body. She picked her up and threw her into the nearest wall. Yuki dropped down onto the floor near the panel. She quickly turned off the reflector mirrors. Yuki then went to turn of the gravity when she felt a hard kick into her back.
She crumpled to the ground. Kasai got Yuki into a head lock and cut of her breathing. Yuki’s hands tried to remove Kasai grip from her neck but it seemed helpless. Yuki then pushed up from the chamber ground. With Kasai on her back, the weight was a lot heavier. Yuki felt herself starting to fade as she slammed Kasai head into the roof of the ship as hard as she could. Kasai screamed out and let go of Yuki and fell hard onto the chamber floor.
Yuki gasped for air as her throat opened up again. She placed her hands around her neck. Yuki looked down as Kasai was just starting to get up. Yuki looked at her chest to see some blood had come out from where she got cut earlier. She dropped onto the floor a few feet from Kasai.
“Alright, let’s fight. See who the stronger one is,” Yuki said as she put her fist up. Kasai gave Yuki a smirk and then motioned for Yuki to attack her.
Yuki felt good as her body had mastered the forty times gravity but she knew this fight needed to end soon so she could go find Yu. Yuki charged at Kasai. She threw a right punch and then a left towards Kasai face. Kasai was able to block both of them and then quickly gave Yuki a right punch in the gut. It made impact and Yuki flew back a few feet to catch her breath.
“God, you’re so weak! I’m not sure how you and your brother made it this far in the tournament. I’ve defeated much more powerful fighters then you, Yuki,” Kasai said as she placed her hands on her hips. She doesn’t know I’m wearing heavy weights Yuki thought. Yuki ran towards Kasai and Kasai blasted a flame ball directly at Yuki. Yuki fell to the floor as the flame ball flew over her. Kasai then quickly kicked Yuki in the right side. Yuki yelped in pain.
Kasai flipped Yuki over and stepped on Yuki’s chest where the cut was. She pushed down hard on her foot making Yuki scream. “We said…a fair…fight…" Yuki gasped out in between breaths.
Kasai held up her right hand and formed a flame blade. “Like I said before, Yuki, I don’t play fair,” she said. Yuki looked up at Kasai. I hope Yu is doing better than I am at the moment Yuki thought.
