Kaula sighed as she sat in her ship. She had decided to send out an invitation to both Xitica and her mother, Patsy. She was a bit worried about the two of them, after all. She had managed to clean up her ship a little bit, as it was rather dirty. Right now, however, the living area was in as near a pristine condition as she could possibly get it! At least there was no old food lying out. Or bugs crawling about. Or dirty clothes laying anywhere. The area was relatively nice looking. She had the floor carpeted. Sure, there was a few stains in the white, fluffy flooring.. But it was oh so soft. It was likely the size of a medium-sized bedroom. On one end there was a small kitchen area with a proporitionally sized counter-like table area. Maybe room for four people total? In the opposite corner was a multi media screen with a nice sized couch. Near that? A bookshelf that was mostly empty save for a few things such as very few books. And of those books, there seemed to be some magazines or comic books. There also seemed to be a pair of odd shaped glasses on the area. In another corner was a stand, or sometype of mannequin. It housed the Saiyan girl's armored dress as well as her sheathed long sword and saber. Of course she wasn't wearing those right now. Now was a time of relaxing. What was she wearing, you wonder? Well, of course she had her normal green scarf. Other then that, she had a simple tank top on and some gym shorts. A hand came up to scratch at her head lightly for a few seconds. before she checked the clock hanging on a nearby wall. She wondered if Xitica and Patsy had gotten her message. |

(Thread PL: 21,232/63,696 (Offensive/Defensive) (Not that we'll probably be fighting....just for grading purposes))
Xi arrived eventually, stepping into the ship, dressed in a t-shirt with some band's logo on it and pair of black, human-style pants. Her shoes were pretty human-ish as well. Seems the Majin didn't just wear Majin-style clothing. Of course her usual attire had been blasted to tatters. She waved as she entered the living area. "Hey Kaula. Mom couldn't make it. Busy." she said, looking around the room. Of course the mother Majin was probably busy. After all her business and home were ruins. The room Kaula had let Xi stay in was probably gone as well.
She seemed alright though. No frowns, just a neutral expression, as she glanced around Kaula's ship's living area. "Nice place." she stated, smiling a bit at her friend.
(Assumed Xi would be let onboard due to Kaula expecting her)

Of course she was let in! There was an opening at the bottom of the ship that ramped up to the middle and simply lead into the living area. Kaula smiled when she saw Xitica enter the room. "I get it." the Saiyan Hybrid said as she moved over to her, arms held out wide as she tried to bring her Majin friend into a big hug. She was rather.. Well.. Glad! She was glad that there were no frowns to be had! Granted, she didn't seem too happy right now; but at least she didn't seem sad!
"Thanks." Kaula said as she went to step back afterwards, crossing her arms. "So. How are you doing and all?" she asked as she tilted her head slightly. "How have you and Patsy been doing after the whole.. Thing..? Where do you guys plan on relocating and all..?" the Saiyan asked. She was a bit concerned about both of them, of course. It's not every day that you just end up losing your home and business and.. Well.. The whole town you live in in one fell swoop.

Xi hugged the half-saiyan back with a sigh. Yeah it'd had been a rough time. Crazy bug people raining destruction upon a peaceful place like Avalon. Her mother losing her home and business. Well she was sure her mother could get things going again. She'd probably have a capsule house soon...or probably already had one. Xi on the other hand would probably have to either crash with her mother, or Kaula. "We've been alright. Mom will probably have stuff moving along again in no time. This isn't the first time she's had to get a new building and stuff. One of her previous restaurants burned down once. She knows how to bounce back." she said, smiling.
"Me on the other hand....I was kinda crashing at you and Rei's place." she said, chuckling. "If you remember. I either have to stay at mom's or you if you have room and let me. I should really find some work..." she mumbled, looking up in thought for a bit.

Kaula let out a few nervous chuckle as she looked at Xitica after the hug and.. Well.. She heard about the whole moving along. It was good her mother was doing good! "Well.. At least she knows how to bounce back. I bet it certainly helps that you guys are kinda like rubber." she said with a goofy grin. At least Kaula still had some of her silly humor!
Annnd then Xitica made the comment about how she had no place to stay. A hand came up to run her fingers through her spiky and glorious mane. "Well.." she muttered out as she thought, "I doubt you'll want to stay in the ship with me. Not too long after the up coming battle, I'll probably be heading back to Vegeta for a while and all." she continued as she thought for a few moments. "Though.." she mused as she thought for a few seconds, "I might have an idea. Not sure how much you'll like it."

Xitica stuck out her tongue at the joke. "Well yeah, it'd take a lot to get her down. Though she was upset about all the people....that...yeah..." she mumbled the last bit, frowning. Xi had been pretty upset, it had probably been worse with Patsy who was probably more kind hearted that Xitica. Xi liked to fight for fun, not serious business, but Patsy seemed almost a full-on pacifist.
On the topic of where Xi would stay, she tilted her head. Kaula had a suggestion? "What kind of idea?" she asked, blinking.

Kaula went to motion over to the table before moving there as well. She decided to take a seat, leaning back in the chair slightly as she listened, ".. Yeah.." she muttered out as she went back to messing with her hair. Kaula clearly wasn't too happy about all that had happened on Avalon Island. Too much death. Too much destruction.. Well, total destruction considering the whole place fucking blew up!
But, it was a good thing that Xitica seemed rather interested in her idea. "Well.. If you liked the last floating island, you'll probably like this one.." Kaula started as her lips curled up to a smile. "No, we're not making Avalon again. Not yet anyway. But there's this one place. Apparently it was owned by Reikiko's dad? Not like.. Not her birth dad. But he adopted her and all. Apparently he also adopted a majin. But, anyway. He was this planet's Kami or whatever." she started to explain. However, this was likely a bit hard to believe. "Anyway. He's gone now. But there's this one dude who was a student of him. Don't know if you ever met the other Student; he used to be around Avalon a lot. You know. The big tree guy? Who was.. Literally a tree? His name was Walker? Well this guy is a friend of him. His name is Bing. I bet he could use some help up there."

Xi wandered over to the table with Kaula, sitting opposite of her. She listened and nodded along as Kaula spoke about Rei's adoptive father. Who was apparently the...'kami' of Earth? And he had lived on an actual floating island. Unlike Avalon which hadn't gotten of from it's perch really. She sighed a bit at that thought but kept listening. She shook her head at the mention of Walker. Nope, she hadn't had the chance to meet the tree guy. She was sure Kaula mentioned him before though. She was interested in talk about the other person who'd been a student of this 'kami' guy and tapped her chin in thought.
"First question" she began, "What's a kami?"

Kaula smiled when Xitica moved over to take a seat with her. She just watched her think for a few moments. Of course, she was a little bit happy that she seemed to, well, be interested! And that's when the question was asked. The very same question Kaula had asked when she first had heard of the term Kami as well!
"Well.. From what I understand.." the Saiyan Hybrid started as she scratched at her chin lightly, "This so called Kami is apparently a god of the planet or whatever.. And, like.. He made these things called Dragon Balls. Apparently if you grab all of those and put them together, it could.. Like.. Grant you any wish you want or something weird like that. But anyway.." she paused in thought, "I'm sure you could get like.. Some kind of job there or whatever. If you're interested, that is. And.. Of course. There'd be no telling a lot of people about it. Apparently it's supposed to be a secret."

Xitica narrowed her eyes a bit, seeming a bit skeptical at the whole Kami being a 'god' thing. It sounded a bit weird that a god would be in some random place on Earth. Gods as Xi imagined would be unimaginable beings, maybe involved in legends. This sounded like just some hermit living on a floating island. Avalon was GOING to be a floating island so the technology was possible. Though she doubted the whole 'god' thing, she did seem interested.
She was at least curious to see the place Kaula was talking about, probably due to her love for exploration. "Alright..I'm interested..but I'd have to met the guy and see the place before I agree to anything..." she said, leaning back in the chair.

"That's cool. I get if you're skeptical of the whole thing and all. I was, too, when Walker first told me about it. Was really weird to see. There's also this giant ass tower right below it that nearly reaches it. But not really." she said as she leaned back again. "Really weird. Then again, I was told this by a talking tree, you know?" the saiyan hybrid said as she thought for a few moments.
She leaned back further so she was balancing on the back two legs of the chair for a few seconds, "Other then all of that.. Fill me in. What's been going on Earth while I was away?" she asked with a big smile.

Xi nodded. Yeah a talking tree is strange but a lot of things in the world were. When Kaula asked how things were going she thought for a moment. then shrugged. "Well..before the whole..attack on Avalon, not much. Doing my usual thing...mom running her business" she said, drumming her fingers along the arms of the chair. "I heard about the North Capitol having some trouble...Over the news. Something about someone attacking the city....lot of people..dead..Seems the whole world is going crazy all of a sudden." she said, looking up at the ceiling.
So much destruction all over the place. It made the young Majin sad, thinking about it all.

Kaula just listened to her, scratching at her head lightly as she nodded. "Guess you didn't train too much." the girl said as she stuck her tongue out at her. "And.. Yeah. North Capitol. Crazy robot. It also blew up a whole planet, too. It's a big thing. Gonna go fight it soon. Might die." the saiyan hybrid said, a bit.. Well.. Non nonchalantly.
"Other then all that.. Well. When I went back to the planet, met my mom. Met the new queen. Made her really mad because I messed up some fancy feast. She was a bitch." she said as she paused a few seconds. "Then I became a super saiyan.. You saw me and all, the.. Blond hair. Crazy strong." Kaula said, rolling her hand a bit as she thought. "Zucceta came back to Vegeta. Beat up the queen. Her name was Vennel. Zucceta became a super saiyan and the new queen. Vennel went.. Somewhere, I dunno." she said as she continued to think. A hand came up to lightly scratch at her head. "Queen left, went to war with Arcose 'cause them lizard people are dicks. I was left in charge of the planet but I couldn't make any holidays or anything, so I got bored. Made myself a princess then we had to leave because Avalon got under attack and all."
Wow.. That.. Sounded like a lot.

Xi frowned a bit. "I don't think I like the sound of that....You're not going to fight it alone are you?" she asked, looking a bit worried for her friend. The Majin probably had enough death already. She didn't need someone she knew and cared about dying as well. Not to say she didn't care about the other people....She just figured it'd be worse if someone like Kaula died. She was like Xi's first friend out in the world. She didn't want anything to happen to the saiyan girl.
As Kaula talked about what happened on her home planet, she tilted her head. Boy, it did sound like a lot. "What's your planet like?" she asked, hoping to change to topic to something nicer than 'I might die to a crazy robot person'.

Kaula laughed a bit. "I am super strong. Yeah. But no. I ain't gonna fight that planet blowing up thing an' all.. You know, all alone." she said as she took in a breath. "Gonna probably be helping lead a small force against him and all. Reikiko will be there and all, you know." she said as she crossed her arms.
Of course, though, Xitica's plan worked. The subject was changed to her planet from the whole possibly dying from the crazy red robo boy. "Eh. It's boring compared to Earth. Mostly wastelands.. A few ruins of old Tuffle cities.. Poisoness gas in a crater thing that no one goes into. A big castle. The capital. Pink skies."
