Maeve watched the blitz of bloodshed and chaos erupt around her in those few frenzied seconds through her serene gaze. She watched the wolves come at the homunculus first, her serene state picking up on every movement made between the two parties. She kept her focus solely on the wolves however. While the girl interested her greatly she wasn't her threat (at least she didn't believe she was.) So her eyes scanned every movement the beasts made. Maeve knew that wolves were normally ferocious and feral creatures, so their snarling and aggressive tendencies didn't rouse any more concern than they normally would. Something about these wolves stood out to her though. They moved with a purpose that was beyond basic instinct. These beasts weren't hunting for survival, they were ought for blood for the sake of blood. The way they kept coming at the girl despite her obviously overpowering their efforts gave evidence to that. Wolves, after all, did normally have enough intelligence and self preservation instinct to flee from an unwinnable situation. These wolves refused to however, and that was worrisome.
She didn't dwell on it though. Rather, she had no time to dwell on it, for soon her own pack of troubles came clawing their way towards her. She frowned watching as tufts of dirt and grasp exploded out of the ground as bullets whizzed by her to graze the feral beasts' forms. The smell of hot blood and lead hit her nose as the small grouping of canines sprang forth towards her to tear her apart and rip her limb from limb. She wouldn't let them have that satisfaction, the aid from the hunters made it all the easier. With one step Maeve would intercept her would be attackers. At her step she charged her body with energy, creating a spike of dark ki around herself for a split second. Arcs of black and red electricity snaked around her Great Cleaver as she fixated the energy to her sword arm. She leaned in, her serene state letting her see the exact moment when her attack would be most potent. The wolf was practically on top of her before she suddenly hissed lowly.
"Disappear forever."
Her voice was cold, emotionless, and sharp as her sword.
She would launch Fateburn forward in a flash of steel. In her current state however, she could see it move clearly. Three wolves, that's how many rushed her. She wasn't worried though, If she was fast enough she could take out the entire group in her furious flurry of cuts. She began her attack by tracing the full length of her blade against the underside of the beast pouncing towards her. She side stepped mid cut, firstly to position herself better so she could bring the next slash at the next wolf and secondly to avoid the splash of gore her powerful cut was sure to illicit. She looked to the next wolf as it attempted to snap at her side with it's maw of dagger like teeth. Using the momentum of her previous slash however she would crush the wolf's skull ripping into it's flesh with the cold steel of her blade.
"I'm sorry that it had to come to this." She spoke, a genuine frown on her face as she withdrew her blade from the gurgling corpse. She looked to the scarlet soaked blade with a deeper frown and quickly turned her head away as she used the grass below her to clean the fresh blood from her weapon. Her ear flicked as Rei spoke out to her though, expressing worry for her fatigue.
"I apologize if I've taken pause, I'm not fond of death..." She admitted as she tightened her grip on her blade. "I can keep fighting though, so don't worry for me." She merely said getting back into her ready stance. A thought hit her though soon after she finished speaking however, there were three wolves that were coming at her. She only slayed two... What happened to the third?
She tensed hearing the poor Saibaman cry out in agony as he fought off his last attacker. "Green!" She yelled, heart catching in her throat as she watched the final wolf come galloping towards the wounded Saibaman. Her eyes narrowed as her aura sparked around her form once again. She wasn't going to let that east hurt the (normally gentle) Mr. Green. She lowered herself down and held her wicked blade up as she began to gather her ki into her powerful legs. The dragoness growled, watching as the wolf tried to claim it's 'easy' target.
"No you don't! THUNDER THRUST!" Her voice cried out as she suddenly launched herself forward with the burst of ki she had charged in her legs. Her form cut through the air like a bullet only to stop before the wolf. She stomped on the ground with enough force to crack it lightly and sent the remaining momentum forward in a devastating thrust that punctured her blade through the wolfs chest only to have it rip out it's back. The beast tried to make a few feeble snaps with it's jaws as she withdrew her blood soaked blade from it's chest leaving a gaping hole.
"Tch, even at deaths door these things are trying to destroy us... So savage...So vile!" She spat, once again cleaning off her drenched blade. "Green are you okay? You look wounded..." She said to the little saibaman who had clearly seen better days. She didn't want anyone to die, especially if she could still fight to prevent it! She didn't want the little guy to keep fighting if it meant he was at risk of death. The way the homunculus spoke earlier made it seem that it was going to get tougher before it got easier...

So far it seemed the defenders were doing well in handling the encroaching threat of the pack of wolves that had turned toward the village. While the dragon lady had succeeded in dispatching some of the wolves, the Saibaman's cry had led to a timely rescue that had ensured Midori didn't join the increasing amount of corpses that littered before the fence. The presence she felt earlier had left the Homunculus in a state of wariness, and in the end she slowly walked over toward the duo during their moment of respite, a hand reaching out to Midori's chest, a gesture that was accompanied by a moment of hesitation before she spoke.
"Listen carefully Midori. After this power I'll plan to use to mend your injuries I will be turning into a monster for a bit. Whatever you do, don't chase me into the forest. The dragon lady and the villagers need you to be a hero."
She smiled softly at the Saibaman before turning her gaze toward the yet to be identified ally they had gained. It was best that she knew what was about to happen, in the end it was the least she could do for an ally who was about to throw herself willingly into danger for the sake of strangers.
"I believe those wolves are controlled by a power similar to my own. The moment I heal Midori--- I mean the Saibaman's injuries my power will likely manifest and try to dominate my mind. While I'll be able to retain control for several moments, the sheer power that will be unleashed will likely be enough for me to track down the one controlling them. It's kind of like using a magnet to find another magnet. Nevertheless, you can't let Midori chase after me. The remaining pack is likely about to attack any moment, and while I will take some down while penetrating their formation it's likely the pack's leader will enter the battle."
With her explanation done Reikiko allowed the familiar power within her to stir lightly. For Maeve with her Serene Mind she would likely be able to visually see that something was happening with the wolves that they had slain. The darkness that had tainted them seemed to resonate, a ominous presence that seemed to flow toward the Homunculus. In the meanwhile an obsidian aura had started to flow around Reikiko's hand, and a few moments afterwards the areas where the Saibaman had been injured started to mend themselves, a powerful regeneration ability having triggered in Green's body.
"There~ All better now---"
Yet the smile of the woman had lasted for only a moment, a groan of pain escaping her lips as she rose onto her feet, staggering backwards while her hands reached toward her head. A cry of agony followed that caused the tainted presence around the wolves their corpses to disappear entirely, and instead a visible purple glow started to appear both in the woman's eyes and the ki aura around her.
"Hah! You think you're able to lurk in the shadows when you're entire body is flowing with a power that is rightly MINE?! Come out of hiding brat!"
The words that were shouted by Reikiko were cold and harsh, almost as if they were spoken by an entirely different person. Nevertheless, while she started to hover above the ground several wolves, roughly around six more were accompanied by a rather huge canine creature. While one might had considered it the alpha of the pack, the wolf seemed to look more like the type of monster one would call a Cerberus, and its entire body seemingly was twisted and corrupted.
As if she intended to keep her promise Reikiko's dash through the enemy ranks had caused two wolves at the back of their formation to suddenly be pushed aside by an invisible force of energy, one that knocked them straight into the nearby trees while she darted further into the forest. It seemed that Maeve and the healed Midori had their hands full, but judging from the huge power that had disappeared into the forest it was clear that something even more dangerous was lurking within.
It was that being that Reikiko had been tracking down, her body rushing amidst the trees and heading in a bee-line toward the source of the sensation she felt earlier. And indeed, just like she had expected a cloaked figure had been hiding in a small clearing within the forest, mumbling a chant while a purple glow surrounded the orb before them.
"Found you. Now to decide on how to kill you."
The Homunculus licked her lips, a hand raised into the air before suddenly dashing forwards, the thrusting motion causing the sphere to explode into a flurry of shards that dissolved into a shadowy mist.
"Now that you're finished corrupting this forest's inhabitants I guess we can figure out who made you do this nonsense."
The cloaked figure laughed in amusement, turning to face Reikiko while a hand reached toward the hood, lifting it lightly to reveal a pair of crimson-colored eyes that were partly concealed beneath a crop of silver hair.
"Impossible..."
What could it be that Reikiko had seen under that hood? Whatever it was, it clearly seemed to had startled her, for she needed a moment to recover before she darted toward her opponent, a hand grasping for the figure's throat, and when the hood slid off a face that seemed an exact replica of the Human form of Reikiko stared back at her.
"You're so cute when you're playing clueless. However, no matter how much you try to hide your past, your mother won't forget you."
Was it a part of the secret memories that Reinforce had tried to show her? Then the fact that her 'mother' was looking for her pretty much confirmed those memories were the real deal.
"What nonsense are you talking about? That fiend dwells in another dimension! There is no way she'd be able to come here!"
However, at those words the Homunculus clone merely laughed, whispering softly.
"She won't need to... You'll come to her in due time. And at that time I'll look forward to see how tainted you'll become."
The laughter of the clone didn't last last, for Reikiko's hand had tightened around the cloaked lady's throat and with a firm squeeze snapped her neck. She had heard enough...
----
4 regular wolves + 1 Cerberus left to deal with for Maeve and Green
Reikiko knocked out two wolves and killed the 'mysterious magician' who was controlling them, preventing reinforcements from arriving.
Midori has been cured by Rei's Dark Blessing Rei has gone corrupted mode due to absorbing the dark energy from the blessing and the surrounding wolves.

Green watched Meave take down the last beast as it was almost on him before he realized breathing heavily at first... Looking at her looking like he'd been beaten an dragged through hell. But when asked if he was ok he gave a light goofy green with blood of his own and the wolves splattered on his face and staining his flesh. He gave a thumbs up dripping green blood on the ground and had some leaking from his lips. "Me have hurt hurts,... But... ok... Keeeee" Wobbling a bit after speaking in a ever so light weakened tone. Putting on a strong face as he wasn't always the best for personal safety. Focusing more on those around then worrying about his own health. Most the time when he got hurt he just left wounds unattended and they healed over time from the way his body worked. Although medical attention would have helped had it been a option. But when you look like he does you got used to people never offering help anyway in his earlier days on earth.
Rei Rei was soon with them as well as they collected themselves for the moment. A hand on his chest after a moment as well as he looked at Rei with weakened eyes and a smile that seemed to ask if he did good. He however gave her a sad look and frowned at her words resisting lightly. "No Rei! No monster! You are Rei! Friend! Me never think you monster! Rei is Rei! Rei best friend..." He said softly. He didn't fully understand but he didn't want her to be hurt or in trouble cause of him. He'd accept in the end to help the villagers. He'd be a hero for Rei Rei but he his little frown was a clear vigil that he wanted Rei to be ok. As hurt as he'd gotten in the end he just wanted them all to be treated like nice friends with the people not monsters.
Green felt his injuries heal and a warm sensation wash over his body. Slowly wounds closed and his armor seemed to realigned. It was really magic special magic. Was this the courage Rei spoke of facing dark dark badness but giving healing like a great hero? His eyes fixating on her as if she were a goddess of some kind. She was the kind of person he could grow very found of being kind and sweet as well as seeming to understand him. It made him feel warm inside as the pain slowly faded and his body both looked and felt better. But when she tried leave and she grabbed her head in a aching sensation he grew worried. Reaching out to her! "NO! No hurt! I Sorry! I sorry! Please be ok! Be ok! Un heal! Un fix me! Don't be hurt!" Feeling like he'd hurt her somehow with this! No she couldn't be hurt it was better that green was hurt not her! Trying to shake her before she was gone shooting off past the new enemies! He'd missed most of what she said to Saiba lady Meave Meave dragon warrior! That being her full name. Since he was in a pained daze at the time.
Green would not thinking try to give chase but was stopped by the new wolves Rei had destroyed some on her way out but a small pack still remained and a three headed dog too! Good god it had three heads! Did they all get along? If not I bet it had bad days.... But still this was no time for such thoughts as he placed hands on his head jumping around and looking at meave eyes welling up and crying to a extent that seemed comical and not really possible. "Rei hurt! My fault! Bad bad! We have to stop wolfies! Help! Please Please! No wait! Rei hurt! Rei Hurt!" Letting out tears and cries as he didn't wait for his response in a little bit of a emotional state.
He quite literally turned and charged the four wolves and the Cerberus not waiting to hear Meave's response. Claws being drawn as he took to all fours quickly charging them. Big mean things no hurt people! They weren't gonna stop him as he ran on all fours as fast as he could muster leaping to the air and in a oddly funny display leapt off the heads of four snapping wolves like leap frogs and leaped high into the sky ramming down towards the Cerberus. Growling as he did so with watery eyes. He sounded more like a saibamen now then just green.
Little clawed hands smashed down on the center head Digging in with all the edge and sharp stabbing motion they could muster using his weight in the downward lashing. He knocked the wind of the middle head long enough to gouge its eyes out rather quickly slashing at its face tearing off bits of flesh and ripping trying to dig down to bone as the other two heads snapped at him. The sound of cutting meat enough to turn the stomach as only a limp fluid leaking fleshy skull was left by the time the other heads had yanked him free. He was frantic! One had his arm in its mouth hoping though that Meave would keep the normal wolves off him as he could hear them growling! Green had a arm held deep in one of the beasts mouth as it held with a iron grip! Thankfully the mutated wolf wasn't able to snap at him with both living heads as a dead one separated them. Green Screamed in pain but growled right after offering little worry of his arm. Jabbing his free claw into the beasts eye but not stopping at a stab as he forced his clawed fingers inside the socket. Roaring out like a wild animal and making a hellish sound as the wolf crunched his arm down hard from pain yelping out as the arm thrusted forward cracking through the skull through the eye hole and could feel squishy squishy meats up to his green shoulder.
The mouth releasing his free arm and falling limp. AS was the arm... But when green yanked his free arm back out bits of brain and blood coated it that he quickly Shook off. Charging a barrage of blasts at the beast not realizing that with two heads dead half the body was also no longer reacting. the last head was nearly defenseless now as it was melted away with blasts already in a state of slow death as its body was shutting down. Green however as soon as he was sure it would no longer be snapping at him jumped up! Landing on the beasts back! An was clearly facing the forest about to dash off to Rei! He'd defeated the big wolf! Meave could defeat the little ones! Even though she likely already had at this point! If Meave didn't stop him he'd be chasing after Rei at this time! Although chances are he wouldn't get that far before being stopped. His little arm grabbed by his good arm and twisted as a cracking sound was made as he snapped it back in its socket properly. "Have to help have to help! HAVE TO HELP HAVE TO HELP HAVE TO HELP!" Dashing off lightly bloodied but for the most part nothing too bad inflicted on his body.

Maeve blinked and cast her glance towards the strange woman as she was spoken to. She looked over the woman with curiousity as she explained her plan to her. The demonic dragoness' amber eyes would widen in shock as she spoke. She questioned the practicality or wisdom of her plan. From the sounds of it she was going to tap into her power but lose control. It reminded her of her own latent power...The corruptive force that pumped through her veins was a constant struggle she was forced to overcome. Did this woman... This Rei-Rei have a similar struggle? If so, she sympathized but she couldn't condone her using it's power if it were going to threaten her, Green, or the villagers. The way she was speaking made it seem as if she was she going to end up like the savage beasts they were forced to do battle with. Would she just end up being another threat for them to overcome? She wasn't sure, she wasn't even sure if she could trust the woman.
She stepped forward, readying to stop her from activating this 'dark power' she had been going on about but stopped as her hyper focus caught sight of the wolves' corpses stirring at the sudden release of twisted black ki. She looked to the defeated beasts as an inky black darkness seeped from them and were drawn into the woman. She stared at the homunculus in a mixture of fear and awe as her stance shifted to reflect something menacing and powerful. Though she used this hellish power to restore the little alien man she felt that in her current state, this strange devil of a woman was going to take far more life than she restored.
Sure enough she launched forward, effortlessly cutting down a few more frenzied wolves as she bolted towards the source of the ill magic that warped their minds into such a crazed and violent state. As long as her destruction was aimed to the wicked Maeve wouldn't interfere but she would remain weary.
She tried to keep her attention on the homunculus but it was diverted as she heard the cries and screams of the saiba hero. She turned to face him as he seemed upset, as if he hurt her or something. "Green..." She said in an even tone, unsure if she should scold him for panicking or comfort him to soothe his fears. She didn't have time to do either however: for as soon as he finished he launched himself to the biggest beast of the oncoming pack, the bloodthirsty Cerberus.
"GREEN!" She called out, the little creature had no right to challenge the hulking beast, at least not by himself... The homunculus' gift of restoration would be completely wasted if he went and got himself killed! She growled, her eyes narrowing in on the remainder of the beasts, all crowding around their alpha as Green was busily ripping it apart.
"Don't turn your back on me." She growled as she jumped forward holding her mighty cleaver overhead as she closed in on the first wolf. The wolf turned, the scent of the demoness mixed with wolf blood catching it's nose but it was too late. Maeve cried out as she cut Fateburn down in a mighty cleave. The blade's arc was strong and fast enough to leave a clean, even split. A fountain of blood exploded from the freshly split skull and sprayed into the air like a scarlet rain as the wolf's body collapsed. With her serene state: she could see each individual droplet of blood in the thick spray as it was released into the air. She watched as the remaining beasts turned and bared their gnarled teeth.
She spat to the side titling her head lightly as she matched their fiendish snarls with a cold, unforgiving glare. Before they could lash out at her: Maeve would cut the stream of blood with her blade in an instant. The way she angled her arc ended up plastering the wolves' eyes in a violent splash of the warm thick substance. They howled in a mixture of shock from the sudden blindness and pain as the blood stung their eyes.
"Useless."
Maeve dashed in the center of the three wolves and stomped the ground, a violently jagged aura of black and red ripped around her form in a flare of demonic energy that had enough force to tear into the earth below her. She radiated with her dark ki as she took hold of her blade and readied her signature attack. She stared at the three predators as they tried to cluster together. Though, with the cold glare of killing intent the dragoness gave off, it was hard to tell who the true predator was.
"Chaotic Rebellion Star!"
Five seemingly random flashes of steel cut the air in a furious blitz as Maeve unleashed her deadly attack. Sparks of electricity exploded off her blade as the five murderous cuts split into the remaining wolves' flesh in a chaotic display of Maeve's power and her fury. At the end of it all the sword's woman would turn her back and sheathe her sword. She closed her eyes, and lowered her head.
"May your spirits rest peacefully." She said quietly as both the lumbering Cerberus and the remaining wolves collapsed into a heap of torn flesh, shattered bone, and copious blood. She didn't want to look at them, she was never fond of the results of her 'handiwork' and whenever she was forced to cut a life short with the stroke of her blade she always tried to apologize or bid the spirits she sent to the afterlife well. It didn't matter if it were beast or man.
As she was lost in her thoughts she was brought back to reality as the saibaman cried out in a desperate scramble to somehow help protect the woman with the dark magic. She rushed ahead of him and turned holding her blade out to her side in a firm attempt to intercept and stop the alien.
"Green. Relax. She will be fine." She said in a firm tone, clearly choosing to go with the scold side of the debate she had earlier. "She won't be fine if you or the villagers gets hurt while trying to help her though. This isn't over just yet, there could still be more out there that can hurt people. Do you understand?" She spoke, fierce amber eyes baring into the small creature as she firmly stood her ground.
She was given two tasks and two tasks only. Stop the wolves, and prevent Green from scampering off after the homunculus. She wasn't going to fail either of those objectives. Green might not like her for it, but what she was doing was for his. and Rei's, own good.

It was rather fortunate that she had Maeve and Green as allies, else who would have known what fate had befallen the village after she went to eliminate the one responsible for this vile act? While she wasn't particularly fond of those wild predators, the act of corrupting someone's mind to do another person's bidding was disgusting, and what made it even more disgusting was that the very power she had eliminated came from the same source as her: The Makaioshin who created the Homunculi. Still, why in the world would there have been a clone of Reinforce on Earth? Was it sheer coincidence, or was there something else at play here? She wasn't confident enough to consider her thought the truth, but she couldn't deny the fact that it was all too nicely timed to be a twist of luck. First there was Yuriko's attack on Avalon that had forced her to unleash her tainted power, and now a person who shouldn't exist in this realm had started to play her cards?
The faint purple glow in her irises started to fade away, allowing her to regain her composure while she turned her gaze at the lifeless Homunculus beside her. The least she could do for this puppet was to give her a proper departure. Raising her hand toward the corpse a black flame started to burn around the body, steadily consuming it entirely in its wicked flames till only ashes remained. Still, within the back of her mind she started to recall her earlier feelings of concern. What about the Saibaman and their dragon girl ally? Were they safe? Lightly ascending her body into the air as the corrupted aura around her started to fade away Reikiko zoomed amidst the trees, her destination being the defense perimeter that they had set up around the fence. She had arrived just in time to see Maeve stop Green from advancing further, albeit the Saibaman's condition was much worse than she had left him earlier! Was the battle that vicious? Perhaps she should have stayed and helped decimate their opponents before chasing after the source? No, that would have been a decision that contradicted her strategy. If she kept dealing with the wolves that clone would have simply kept corrupting the denizen of the forest till they were overwhelmed, or rather until she annihilated the whole forest and its inhabitants.
"..."
The Homunculus sighed deeply at the sad state the Saibaman was in, and while initially she had thought of using her blessing once more, she doubted a second time would allow her to retain control over her mind. No, she would need to find another means to aid Midori. Fortunately for her she did have the means to help him. Her Father had often told her about the importance of those mysterious bean-shaped medicine called Senzu Beans that could easily recover any injuries a person suffered, and even fix lost limbs if they were lost in a recent battle. Kneeling down before the Saibaman a hand reached toward him, opening it lightly to reveal the green-colored bean in her hand.
"Eat it, it will lessen your pain and make you feel better. Don't worry about me. The one responsible for this has been dealt with."
While she lifted her free hand to attempt to gently pet the Saibaman's head Reikiko only allowed the gentle motion to last for a few moments before she rose onto her feet, her gaze cast upon Maeve. The woman likely had a lot of questions to ask, but she was uncertain whether it was wise to reveal it all. In the end explaining that she was related to the one that caused this mess likely would have made her sound like a partner in crime, and yet she wanted to reassure Maeve that the danger has passed.
"I killed the one responsible for the corruption of the forest's denizen. But thank you for your aid miss---"
She paused for a moment, seemingly having not caught her name yet due to the intensity of the battle earlier. However, their conversation would soon find itself interrupted when several voices came from the opening of the fence.
"They did it! They stopped the wolves!"
One of the hunters had shouted those words, causing a sudden swarm of villagers to emerge from their homes to look at the ones responsible for saving their village. It was clearly not the type of heroes they had expected, yet one of the other hunters declared happily.
"They are the heroes of our village! Now this is a tale to remember: The three heroes from space!"
At those words Reikiko blinked in confusion as a bunch of kids had tried to surround the Saibaman to get a better look at him, while she whispered under her breath.
"I don't know about them but I'm Earthborn, thank you very much."
Still, it was nice to see that the villagers seemed a lot more friendly than she had expected, some were even grabbing towels to help deal with the bloodstains on Green's carapace. Was this going to be the start of the Saibaman's dream turning into a reality?
Her gaze briefly turned back toward the forest while she whispered softly.
"It would be nice if his dream turned into a reality someday."
Yet, for a bit she couldn't help but wonder what had brought their ally to this conflict. Did she sense the corruption of those animals? If that was the case she might had been able to sense that dark power within her also! Clearly a person to remain wary of. Nevertheless for now it seemed peace was returning to the village, and once all was said and done she remembered the fact they had a peculiar benefactor. Why did her sister Tsukiko decide to reveal the threat of the village? Her sister clearly cared little about someone like those villagers, so perhaps she had something to gain from this event. But that... would end up being a story for another time.
--- (Going to have to close this up soon due to the DE occupying most of my time, PL for me please~ feel free to make a post reacting to the villagers and such, and we'll have to do a part 2 soon ^^)

Green sighed and grumbled lightly shaking where he stood looking from one side to the next as if looking for a opening if he could get passed her but likely knew this wasn't gonna happen. He looked angry at her with cold fearsome.... then watery big... then saddening glazed in starting tear eyes! Green sniffled lightly standing before Meave who was clearly blocking path green had bite marks on his flesh here and there but wasn't torn up that badly at least not as he was the first time. He was hurt but would heal and his rage had aided him dropping the fowl beast that now lay dead in the field. But he clearly had heart heart ache from not being able to help Rei. He tried to fight back making tears but the more he did the more he just sniveled in his own little way sucking in a deep breath here and there as he lost his breath from crying before wiping his eyes and little nostrils with his green forearms. "Have to save people...But also Rei Rei... Rei in trouble cause me... Me want Rei happy..." Still settled with tears and seeming to have moments of little deep huffing struggling for a breath here and there as children do when severely emotional.
Green would have hugged rei tightly before taking the bean still sniffling an ate it quickly more so to appease her then actually worry about himself upon seeing her. Likely looking antsy as if wanting to hug her again. "Glad you ok... Midori was worried... Didn't want you hurt cause me. Midori happy his friend is ok...Rei Midori's best friend!" He'd say softly still sniveling at both Meave and Rei clearly saddened tears turning into joyful ones his friends were find after that battle of mean evil wolves. He wanted to help people and discovered how dangerous it could be but he could also learn that even in danger if you held strong you could prevail as they had today. His wounds starting to fade from pain as well as he could feel his body healing. Kicked back up to great shape very fast as he'd wipe away blood here and there on bite wounds seeing the wounds closed! "Whoa! Bean magic! Like courage! Courage beans!" He'd say in light awe.
Green was quickly swarmed with small kids and tugged this way and that way caught up quickly fading from his teared expression as he heard Rei had stopped the big evil. Rei was the hero here he thought when looking toward her waving while the teary eyed little guy seemed to get caught up in the fun and games of a small celebration. The night holding merry making and cheer for the strange saviors that had come in the night. "Me born on planet too! Came from ground! Remember little.... woke up... dug out! born from planet! Party! Party!" He was easily overwhelmed by good vibes and sensation. The kind people all around as before long he and a bunch of kids forming a rather odd looking Konga line of little dancing while other cheered and sang. It was a good way to end this night. Friends and a little town that didn't see three strange beastly people. But just kind people that came to aid in a moment of darkness. Not monsters at all. No sir just good people.

Maeve found it hard to keep her firm stance against the little plant creature as it's indignant snarl shifted into a stifled cry. As his beady little eyes watered Maeve's will to stand strong and defiant towards his attempts to run after the strange devilish woman with the black magic. The sight of him fighting back bitter tears while also being as torn up and hurt as he was tugged at the dragoness' heart strings. It was a pitiful sight and it was cutting her to the core. It was there that she realized her serene state had faded completely. The surge of emotion from the situation hit her at once... She was angry that she was forced to take lives that could have been spared, sad that Mr. Green was hurting (both physically and emotionally) yet oddly overjoyed that she managed to prevent any of the wolves from attacking the villagers. There was also that rush of euphoria she felt from asserting her dominance over another through violence but as always she fought back that sadistic emotion with the help of her runic tattoos. As her repressed emotions came to mind she couldn't help but ponder over the stranger's radical transformation once more. Was she a demon like her or was she something else entirely? That inky black magic was unlike anything she had seen, even in the demon realm...While she was thankful the girl was there to aid them, she couldn't help but feel off by that disruption she created in: "The Flow." Her thoughts were interrupted as the subject of her musings appeared before her and the Saibaman. While Mr. Green was overjoyed to see her, Maeve kept a small little frown on her lips. There was still far too many questions and uncertainties surrounding this mysterious being for her to be relaxed around her or to be happy to see her. The little saibaman, meanwhile, was crying tears of joy to see that she was alright. She was happy for Mr. Green at the very least, and honestly thankful that the woman had some sort of medicine for him. The 'courage beans' that Green would happily name them later. As the woman spoke to Maeve explaining the situation with the 'mastermind' being slain and that the situation was to calm down, she would give her a slow nod in understanding and sheathe her mighty blade. There was no more need for fighting as far as she was concerned so her hardened stance relaxed to one more suitable to the situation. She remained quiet, until the woman tried to get her name. As she was basically asked: the dragoness would place a hand on her hip and close her eyes. She was trying to keep as even of a tone as possible, despite the burning questions she had. "Maeve... Maeve Rakshasa." She spoke plainly, not hesitating to reveal the true name of her clan. If the homunculus had any knowledge of the demon realm's history the name Rakshasa would instantly be familiar to her. The dragoness' ancestor was one of the first demons to inhabit the realm and the stories of his conquests were still told in the demon realm to either scare or inspire it's inhabitants. Her relation to the fearsome warlord made her akin to a lesser form of nobility among the demon realm... The question as to why the heiress of the warlord's clan was on Earth would remain unanswered however. Her eyes fluttered open however as the villagers seemed to swarm around them suddenly. Before she knew it she and the others were being hailed as heroes from beyond the stars. Maeve gave an awkward smile at the assertion, it was incredibly inaccurate but flattering none the less. "I'm actually from the De-" She was about to reveal her true home to the simple village folk but realized that they might take that the wrong way so she stopped and corrected herself. "T-The deep reaches of space! You got it right!" She said laughing awkwardly at her clumsy save. The statements that Rei and Green made were confusing to her though. They were both Earthborn? How could that be? The homunculus didn't seem like any mortal she came across and the saiyaness was quite familiar with Green's race when they all met earlier. Perhaps they were lying? After all, she just lied herself so it wouldn't be too far fetched of a notion... Still, the way the woman spoke with such confidence (it was borderline disdain) and the fact that Green probably didn't even know what the word 'lie' meant made her question if they were being serious or not. She sighed, deciding not to dwell on it and instead turned her attention to the happy villagers. Everyone seemed overjoyed with the outcome and while it was nice no one was seriously hurt Maeve couldn't help but feel uneasy... Just what exactly was that strange power she saw? Why was the village a target? Who did Rei confront in the woods? Possibly most important though: just who was the homunculus? Where did she come from and what exactly was she? All she had was questions upon questions and it annoyed her to no end. As the villagers continued to gather Maeve would step away from the crowd despite their best efforts to include her in the fun and festivities. "I'm glad everyone's okay but I mustn't stay..." She said declining their advances to include her. "I came out here to train and promised someone I'd be back by a certain time, I'm already running a bit late." She explained, knowing the Shrimps would be upset if she went missing in the Bamboo forest for a long period of time. The place already had a bad reputation with the beasts and such so she knew they'd be worried if they didn't hear back from her (though after the ordeal they just went through it seemed the reputation was well deserved in her mind.) "Both of you did great today... I don't think I could have done it alone." Maeve said with a soft smile before she turned and headed back into the thick stalks of Bamboo. She left as suddenly as she entered, and while she might not have had a party for a reward the satisfaction of protecting others was enough of a reward for her. Thanks for the RP! Zeni for me please!
