Name: Sa-Ruku of the Roho
Alias: N/A
Species: Ryashi
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Appearance:
Sa-Ruku is a Ryashi that stands at total of height of nine feet tall when he extends his tail out as far as possible. He has mostly white skin on the upper half of his human body but does have a few pink spots here and there. His hair his long, reaching to down to his shoulders, and frames his long face and pointed chin helping him create a darker then normal aura about him. His oblong blue eyes kind of help bring this out along with his usually small smile and thin lips. Within his mouth are a set of small fangs that form a jagged pattern down his upper and lower jaw. His rounded ears complete the appearance of his face and so does a red tattoo sitting on his left cheek, that looks more like a the head of a snake than anything else.
The guy likes to wear a strange horned-shaped neck piece around his collar and tends to wear a black shirt with a red belt and golden triangle button, but oftentimes he can easily switch into all kinds of sweaters, gis, etc. He customarily wears nothing on his lower body since he has no legs like all Ryashi. Instead, he sports a fine brown, scaled serpent tail with a white underbelly. He's really not much to look at in human terms but sometimes other Ryashi swoon over him (or at least he likes to think) since he feels pretty handsome on the inside.

History:
On the planet, Appodora within the region known as the Sangurro Sands is a lovely resort/hospitality area for visiting planet tourists but while such a happy place does exist on this world's surface, it does not encompass everything that makes up this world. For all the hype there exists about Appadora's resorts there needs to exist a place where many of its goods come from and that place, at least for the food, is a small area on the outskirts of Sangurro Sands called Fu-do Fu-do Oasis; a place literally with tropical foods of all kinds. It stands as an epicenter for the planet's tourist trade.
In this area filled with fruits, palm trees, and desert rocks lived a person named Sa-Ruku whose family by trade were traders, merchants, and the ilk of mercantile living. Anytime someone wanted three pounds of beef they were not the people to go to for they would press upon a buyer three pounds of beef plus a whole head of fish as part of their tactics to get people to buy from them. Sa-Ruku lived as a merchant’s son learning to push whatever he could into people’s face and eventually found that after a while doing so extremely hard, especially when these people that came to buy from him was primarily tourists or vendors who wanted their monies’ worth on rare foodstuffs.
Oftentimes they would make him give them something plus something else and in return give him either an extremely low payment or a very bad beating. His parents could see he failed to express and impress the ways of a tradesman on people whom he met so they told him, “You better leave or find something better to do with your life.” It was a death sentence either way since they literally told him, “To leave or leave. Those are your only options.”
He decided to at age eighteen and found that when he did he felt a whole lot better in terms of being able to do what he wanted. Yet at the same time, noticed he was still poor. By a stroke of luck, he happened to read a sign that spoke of trendy, new fashion to leave home. It was actually an ancient ritual called the Ritual of Discovery but within his family, it was unheard of for seven generations. The reason was that the last member of his family to embark on one was a warmonger. They never made it very far though because they had an addiction for food and could not travel far without getting a bite to eat. This made attacking villages on Appadora, the only battlefield his ancestor could fight on, pointless. If villages ended up ruined who would provide food to them and their starving soldiers? The question, never ended up answered aloud, because the answer was no one. Everyone hated tyrants.
Currently though young Ryashi had access to things called space ships and with them they had the ability to travel an area called Outer Space. Therefore, rather than stay on Appadora Sa-Ruku knew he wanted to leave. He begged a tourist to teach him how to get and use one and from there found himself under the tutelage of… another merchant a merchant of war that is. Sa-Ruku simply banged his head against the wall on this one and lived to serve until he could buy his own ship. Unfortunately, this woman was a Brenchian named Journalese whose desire to fight and take peoples' Zeni just brought organized crime and space pirates coming to her, and that meant… more trouble!
Journalese being a Brenchian was a warmonger (or rather just a great soldier with nothing to do) and when space pirates came around she spent hours beating the crud out of them for glory. Something she explained as, “Natural to my people.” Then explained to him, “My people patrolled the galaxy seeking to be great warriors.” This kind of rhetoric made Sa-Ruku want to puke a little, over the top violence did not equal justice, but when she later explained, “I once heard we were at the top of our game a long time ago but with the end of the PTO we kind of lost that experience.” Sa-Ruku realized he might be dealing with a high-strung woman and one who was part of an organized crime group herself. It made him want to leave, even though she wished to show him basic fighting skills so she could see how he did, yet something like that was not strong enough to convince him to stay. He was a poor alien without any background in anything other than trading and he wanted to know what would be the point of him fighting at all once he was taught. She simply answered, “Money… you fight in tournaments and stuff you bumpkin.”
Tournaments though meant getting beat up, which he had already learned how to do from angry customers so without another word he left her and headed out on his own taking a space pod from her ship. Unfortunately, this space pod, due to its infrequent use had rusted out a bit and as a result caused him to crash on a planet named Brenchian Gemini. Here, a poor group of Arcosian warriors who served the Arcosian Empire rescued him and turned him into their personal merchant and chef. Under their guidance, they gave him combat skills and made him pledge loyalty to the queen of Arcose who fought for rightful ownership of the galaxy. He continues to travel with them now even though he finds his Ritual of Discovery to have been rather weird so far. He has come to notice that a lot people in the universe seem to like war and although it is not his thing lives with it for now since his training has made him semi-adept at martial arts. He is not sure if he wants to fight for money, power or glory but finds that reclaiming something that is rightfully yours is a good cause to work for in this era. One thing that bothers him though is that Journalese may have followed him just to make him see her way.

Starting Planet: Brenchian Gemini (Aoi Brenchia)
Techniques:
Offensive
Hebi Hand [N1]: A powerful double-fist thrust usually aimed at the stomach or face that can send a person flying up to fifty feet. It takes after the Wolf Fang Fist by having the user's hands take the shape of an animal, in this case, a snake. Sa-Ruku brings his two fists together then his ring and index fingers completely curled on both his hands against his palms with his thumbs tucked underneath while his index and pinky fingers form four fangs. The strength of this technique is equivalent to 33% of his current power.
Serpent Slam [N1]: Sa-Ruku whips his tail out and uses it to knock his opponent up into the air at least two hundred feet. Once accomplished, Sa-Ruku then follows up this attack by jumping into the air and performing a secondary strike with both fists that slams his opponent into the ground. This technique is very similar to the move Amazing Impact yet is quite surprising since snakes cannot fly. [May Interrupt Second Strike]

Leap and Glide [SU1]: Sa-Ruku is a snake-like alien and cannot fly but with training from his Arcosian fellows he has managed to make it seem he can as long as there is something to hold onto and grab nearby. Among Earth's known species of snakes is a type of snake that people call the Flying Snake. It makes risky jumps from trees and other surfaces to capture prey in order to eat. Sa-Ruku follows its methods and can gauge jumps from the ground or a tall place in order to jump safely from one place to another. With his training a fifty-foot jump is something he can easily accomplish. Jumps further then one hundred feet though are not within his grasp, as he would suffer serious injury making one.
