This place was not anything to brag home about but at least it wasn't deathly horrible as long as one stayed close to the majority of the souls. the ones at the most earthly level near the blood river. Some even seemed to be making the best of such a thing as being trapped in hell. The distance however on the horizon held dark things. The sounds and shapes as well as contortions were dangerous and fearsome. Only the most daring or dark spirits seemed to invade the land that even had demons and creatures roaming about. The idea of being a floating puff ball wasn't exactly the most fearsome appearance either so he'd bite back his spirit resisting the urge to search. Perhaps looking for something to make use of time here... make use of eternity. God that idea was absolutely eating away at him. There had to be something he could do but presently it was futile.
Floating about in such a place the heat was uncomfortable and he couldn't bring himself to give in like the others did. Boats on a blood river as well as a few others making merry. People made the best out of what they had he could understand that but this just wasn't for him. He had to find a way seek out something to get him outta here. He was sent here with magic through that damn drop. Maybe there was a way back even if he didn't exactly remember the fall. Maybe there was some path some power at be around. Certainly there wasn't just the one way in and nothing out. There were guards about of some variety ogres or whatever they called themselves carrying clubs. Why guard prisoners who can't escape? They weren't always torturing the souls in the little community at the center so perhaps they were on the watch for something else like he suspected. But that still didn't fix his worse problem of his form. He couldn't summon energy like this or attack besides being like a smoke ball in someones face apparently. It was amazing he could even speak or sigh without lungs. No easy feat to sigh with no lungs mind you.
It was after some time had past when he dared venture now and again into the distance where dark skies and fire took control. Souls now and again snatched up by creatures but he usually only ever seemed to come in around the end when you'd hear the screams and,... creatures had their way. But he also saw now and again others spirits with bodies that did not appear as demons. Saiyans, Humans, Many of the empire owned races. The ones with bodies weren't everywhere but it was relevant there had to be a way. Or at least he speculated as such.
His ear caught by other spirits as well... Rather prideful ones that were speaking of battle and saiyan invasion. A battle was going on apparently and it sounded recent too. What didn't sound familiar was however the fear he heard. Perhaps the saiyans had finally gotten the better end of a war this time. He tried not to think of the blue mother he left behind but couldn't care really about Arcose. If anything maybe the saiyans would make it a better place to live. It was never a good place unless you were a stuck up your ass Arcosian anyway. Let it burn... Maybe he could find that damn empress and laugh at the fact how even the ones so high eventually fall.
The little puff ball puffed about as the ground contorted more and grew dark and cracked. Still thinking of that smug android with legs tightly wrapped around him. The flash of the energy whirling towards him the whirring sound of the energy as it blasted towards him cutting white light to black out. The smile on the droids face with the little bit of blood on its lips. He'd feel a growling in his core at the thought of it. All that was left behind and be damned dead finally... God it ate him like acid in his stomach. Why did it turn out like this... Sure he'd done some bad things but did he really need to die now. Things were starting to go well on earth. People he knew that were actually bearable. The types that didn't judge right off and actually gave a damn.
His spirit was noticing more and more shadows in the distance. Things like peering eyes in the black of the horizon. Crackling whips of fire and screams in all directions that came up sporadically. Sounds and whispers that danced just as often as the heated breeze that carried more heat then a relaxing breeze. Must have been part of hell... feeling the heat even with no body. The sensation did eat at him though soon. Someone or something rather was watching him. Danger filled him as he was now far from the majority of the soul gathering. Far out where the ground was as black as the souls inhabiting it. A crunch was heard behind him... A feeling overwhelmed him when he'd hear it. Turning however to find nothing. Only the black ground and a few light fires to greet him. A storm was brewing as well that had lightning and thunder pounding as if kai's above were punishing the area. The ground shattered in black shards with each explosion of lightning.
The little spirit puff would jump in excitement and try jetting from the scene. Heading off in the distance towards the area's further off. But having heat in all directions and the calls of the damned echoing about like a thundering song the further he got wasn't exactly helping calming his nerves or feel he was achieving anything other then growing his nerves. Its little puffy smokey edges appeared as if it was tiny cloud zipping through the air. However he could note directly he was no where as fast as he once was in body. Growing even more so that damned android had taken away his power. He'd achieved something... That power of saiyans. He wondered on it thinking on it heavily but had no way to try and imitate that again in such form.
It could feel a twitch in its smokey exterior. As if it was twitching a blue brow that was no long in existence. Letting out a bit of a roar hissing at the surrounding areas. This anger was more painful then the damn fact he was in hell. Neither were exactly calming news though mind you. Why was this happening wasn't there going to be any lucky break. There had to be something dammit. A door a guarded gate some form of hole he could extort. What happened to redemption? Second chances? This could not be all he had to look forward to from now to forever. The idea made him burn in his head. His mind felt like spiders were climbing along a brain no longer there. But this terrain seemed to never end and grew harder and harder to travel even for a spirit form. An the creatures and bodied warrior's he saw grew less and less the further one got. The cracking sounds of steps around him grew though as well as whispers in his head. The feeling he was being followed was almost certain now. Surely he wasn't just being paranoid. It was hell after all.
In his attempts to keep getting out further and further he'd soon however realize just how much of a mistake this was. In his worrisome sporadic searches and attempts at running or floating if you prefer. Had ended in him realizing he was in fact lost among the darkness and fires of hell. The community he left behind was nowhere in sight. No idea which direction it was back as he'd been moving about various obstacles along the way. Finding his way back would likely just get him more lost then he was now if that was even possible. How far did hell for? The idea of being out into nothing for the rest of existence alone was a more terrifying thought then his previous situation.
The only few beings he was actually coming across at this point were simple demons he'd gather or ogres as well but none of them in the most accepting appearance. Creatures shackled to stone or slabs. Tortured creatures here and there that had been abandoned or worse possibly just left for the playful demons to return too. Growls and hisses came from corpses so mangled he'd have thought them dead but he had to continue. Stopping would only mean he'd suffer a similar fate or possibly lost his sanity. This was like being trapped in some bad fairy tale or nightmare you could wake up from.
The few whispers he'd hear as he found one or two souls here and there were even worse for his situation. There was one man talking about the conquering of planet brench,... one of the places of his mothers people. But that was... so many years ago. Was it possible these souls had been out here this long? Wondering reflecting! Was this his fate? Was this to happen to him as well endlessly traveling until he lost his mind or gave into insanity. His past chapters stuck in his head as memories that would haunt him forever like these poor sods. Remembering their deaths and likely having no clue how the world had changed. Did any of the souls he'd seen even remember the true living world. This place looked like it took its toll on you after so long.
He felt himself in dire need of a drink and a smoke. A woman of comfort or a friend to console him. Something to ease the moments by. But all he was greeted with was eerie silence that was only ever broken by damnable sounds of horrific pain. Or those whispers burrowing in his metaphorical skull. It was growing from a whisper to screeching. Flashes of bloody images in his head involving his own body and another more horrific creature were flashing in his mind. Blood, and pain of a demons tricks, Things that looked painful and also stirred his emotions. Something was trying to get his attention and it was starting to grow hard to ignore whatever it was out there.
He'd try to dive behind nearby rock fixtures and peek around occasionally possibly keeping out of sight. Not entirely sure or not if such a act would actually do him any actual good or not given he had no idea what he was actually dealing with out in the dark abyss. The visions continuing however no matter where he was. However they varied as it felt like something was burrowing into his brain as if he was some open book to read and thumb through the pages. Whatever it was as well didn't feel like it cared how rough it was with him either. His head was aching but he saw visions some of him in body as if alive again. Portals and magic working in his favor as he had power and strength like before. Back on what he thought was earth as well as possibly in his golden haired form. A warrior ready for battle and to kill for revenge. Re earn its place and repair pride and status. The power seemed to halt at this however. The super saiyan within perhaps slowed it down to admire or grow worrisome at the target it had chose. But it didn't stop as the other path was clear as well. A soul in bonds sometimes with a body sometimes without. Either being devoured with body and a prisoner for eternity or tortured and meeting a devils end even in hell.. A torture that could last for eternity as well as such sick ideals of being a slave losing to such a spirit. A soul being used and shown as if it were a bargaining chip. It made him cringe seeing these things twist in his mind.
It was a strange sensation he felt almost as if something was interfering with him and his feelings. Making him desire to look for whatever was causing this. What ever was trying to lure him in and make some deal or some game. As if he had the chance for greatness or damnation worse then what he was already experiencing. Sounds mixing in the distance as a girls giggle was heard the woman in the trickery images in his head slowly forming more and more. A barking heard as well that carried a hellish echo. A second entity among the foes before him somewhere. The fire whirring up as well the heat growing the screams going more silent as only the visions and giggling seductive laughter took over. The barking growls of a beast as well occasionally breaking the strange visual overpowering.
The first thing he did come across was a fire blazed blackened hound. Fire on its body as well as cuts and contorted flesh that made the thing hardly look alive. Vicious fangs and eyes that stated this creature was not a spirit. A demon? A beast? something surely to be feared. A hell hound on the hunt or guard perhaps. The spirit jumping up meeting it face to face though. Its growling seemingly a sign to keep the spirit cornered at the moment. An Jarvis presently didn't feel like testing if he could die again in death... That wasn't exactly a goal he desired at the moment. The creature had the sounds of the growls so that answered on question of wonder itching at Jarvis's mind... but the giggling and images. That he embarrassingly was feeling special emotions for now was still out there.
The void of waiting was filled with a bit of a lapse of time as the dog like creature took slow steps towards him as if on the hunt. Jarvis was unsure if this was a moment to flee or not given where exactly was he gonna go. If something was on the hunt for him he likely was damned if he ran and damned if he didn't At the mercy of this sick game people were playing with him. A bit of anger growing in his gut at this feeling. Of being at the mercy of another power again so soon. AT these damned creatures in the afterlife. At earth, At vipois. He wanted a outlet something to beat it out of or fuck it out of. He couldn't take this sensation of being this weak this lost just when he attained such power and was so close to something that may have actually made this wondering life mean something. The people of earth were at least kind spirits... Even if he fought with them often. The growling creature seemed to pause however after getting worrisomely close. Its breath visible as the undead looking hound stood with teeth barred. "Not really the most playful pup are ya... Heel?!" He'd utter clearly nervous as a light chuckle followed up. But shortly after this another voice kicked up seemingly coming from nowhere but in his own head.
The voice sweet and the same as the giggling whispers that had been violating his soul and mind prior. He felt his puff core freeze at this. The sensual voice now speaking to him. "Don't mine him sweetie. He's just here to make sure you don't go running off into the messy darkness... It wouldn't be fun out there... all lonely... no one to hold you. A soul like yours needs proper ownership." The images started up again in his head. Trying to influence him clearly. "An after all if you stay we can plaaaay so many fuuun games. You might even get a body like I know you've been wanting... Unf I might be interested in better games too if you get a body. Well if you win that is. My hound here as well won't like it if you run. I'd hate to show you what happens to a soul when it spends eons in the stomach of a hound born from hell fire." The whatever she was was digging in his head. Finding what he desired and what he wanted. Using his desires of freedom and on getting home against him. Jarvis couldn't help but growl lightly but listen showing no signs of fleeing. Perhaps some merit was to this risk. I mean if she was going to just kill him or do lord knows what she would have done it already. Perhaps a gamble was worth hearing out. Fit his style anyway it seemed. He couldn't let this thing trick him. "A game? So like...I play I win? I go home?" He'd say chuckling nervously and asking with a rather non believing tone.
"If you want... But I would want the game to be a little more interesting then that. I mean don't you wanna play? An perhaps you know if I win... I get things too... you're soul... you're servitude... A play thing." At least now the images made sense. The idea that this thing wanted his soul... He heard a few whispers of things like this back in the community. Dealing with demons though... he thought shit like this only happened in stories and fairy tales. "I could let my pet eat you if you don't want to play? But wouldn't you rather take a chance? Maybe I'll eat you after if you want..." She'd say giggling as if waiting. "If you say yes we can play... You can go home.. You just have to win.." The tempting idea twisting in his head as he felt her influences in his head like a gallery of pain and pleasure twisting his imagination to its furthest corners.
Seemed a little unfair but smart as well cornering souls with a different spirit. Forcing them to accept the game. He had to give her props for knowing how to work the house and quickly slim down his choices on what exactly he was gonna be capable of doing in terms of resistance. "We're... gonna have to work out exactly whats on the table... But if you want to play and are willing to discuss... Then yes lets play the game. What do I really have to lose." Power hit the ground near him as a black figure formed with no features but slowly seemed to form into existence. "More then you know my blue baby boy... But we'll discuss that if you want. Just sit back relax... and lets enjoy the ride. I suggest you get use to the fired Boyo. Teehee,. I don't lose often." Dealing with the devil? Nah it was time to try and out play her. He didn't want to get cheated, Eaten by a dog without even to gamble... But if he had his way he'd try and win and get her in his debt then the other way around. He'd feel a light scowl. He didn't like not having the upper hand. He didn't like being forced into a gamble like some back groom gambling. This little creature was crazy if she though she could do this and not pay. All he needed was a body... then he'd show these demons what he could do. What power he had attained on earth. Dice of fire formed soon there after and gambling cards of magic. This was apparently at least feeding of his memories for a game he at least knew of. Gambling at its best... well minus the whole hell thing.
Floating about in such a place the heat was uncomfortable and he couldn't bring himself to give in like the others did. Boats on a blood river as well as a few others making merry.
