Maeve remained bubbling under the water for a good moment. She was starting to relax as the salty waves moved past her submerged form. She didn't react to Etoru as he blatantly called her out on her blush. She was half tempted to pop out and fervently deny it but she remained hidden, he was just a kid and he didn't know any better. The person who should have known better was the demonic saiyan woman. Maeve blinked as she was asked for her name and was ready to respond but she stopped only to raise a brow in confusion as she suddenly heard a bubbling noise right beside her. She turned, only to be face to face and practically inches away from Zerori. Her eyes widened at the sudden closeness to the fiery demon girl as she let out a strange mixture of a cry and a meep as her headfins shot up causing water to flick into the air. She flailed her arms a bit splashing water as she stumbled back creating more distance between them.
She stood up in a huff as she looked down to Zerori with a pout and a glare (and still rosy red cheeks.) "A fish person? What?! I-I am not a fish person! How dense can you be?! Clearly I'm a demon!" She complained her tail moving up to quickly slap the water in a display of her frustration. She puffed her cheeks as she frowned lightly, deepening her pout. "A-As for my name it's Maeve. I'm the youngest heiress of the Rakshasa clan." She would introduce herself breaking her gaze away from Zerori and crossing her arms. The way she was standing now left her exposed once more, her crossed arms accentuating her modest chest. She bit her lip as she tried to calm herself down, her nervousness and timid nature being displayed prominently on her face.
Though, she wouldn't be exposed for too long, as soon as Etoru jumped in she was knocked on her rear from the massive wall of water from his cannonball. She cried out as the water rained down upon her and Zerori. "H-Hey! Come now! Was that really necessary!" She grumbled, though it was more due to her already pouting mood. What Etoru had done was harmless enough. She let out a sigh as she held her head flicking some of the salt water out of her face.
She wasn't quite sure why she was so embarrassed. Wasn't she supposed to be flattered that so many people were interested in her form? It was better than them looking at her as if she were a monster that was for sure... Still she couldn't help her shyness, it was something she was burdened with even back in the demon realm. She tried not to dwell on it though, after all she did come out to the beach to relax...

The sheer amount of surprise on the other demon woman’s face almost had Zerori gasp and choke on the water she blew bubbles in. Also backing away a bit, she soon burst out laughing at the flush that ran across her face. So she was a demon, huh? Well, the world was a pretty big place, it seemed! Zerori grinned at the pout on the woman face and couldn’t help teasing her a little bit more on the subject, “Oh! So you’re a fish demon! That’s got to be interesting in the water; say, that would mean I’m at a disadvantage, right?” She snapped her fingers a couple times in an attempt to ignite her flames, showing off that it kept fizzling out. “I’d have to be pretty pissed to be able to use fire under water!” She laughed. When Etoru jumped in, she jumped back and swam farther into the deeper end before disappearing under its surface.
For a few second, one might not be able to see her before she broke the surface with a loud roar and threw both arms up from the water to splash both of them. For the first time in a while, she was able to have a bit of fun and not have to worry about ‘fighting this’ and ‘stealing that’ to keep her livelihood. When she noticed that Maeve was still flustered, she gave a tilt of her head and wondered to herself what the problem might have been. Was she not used to going out? She didn’t know if demons were accepted or not on this planet but saiyans really weren’t.
Swimming up to her, she made to dunk the boy for a second before telling him, “I’ll show ya a thing or two later, Kid,” before she looked to Maeve, “What’s eatin’ ya? You got a scar to hide or some sort of wardrobe malfunction? Turn around and I’ll see if I can fix it.” So assertive was she about her generosity in helping Maeve that she didn’t even think that what she was doing might make things worse as she leered at the demon again while trying to find the problem.
Zerori never gave much attention to self-preening aside from the little bit necessary to prepare for missions or to enjoy a night out with prospective dates. In the water, where not many people wore anything that accentuated beauty, she was satisfied that they could feel unfettered by the collective gaze. Well… the collective patronizing gaze. If there were those whom liked her with a bathing suit on and not much else, she heard a saying humans had, ‘If you’ve got it, flaunt it.’
Did Maeve not like flaunting?

Etoru let out a loud laugh as he came back to the surface. "Sorry Maeve, haha! I didn't mean to!" As he was laughing he began to cough on the water he swallowed by mistake. Afterwards he started spitting it out. "Blegh! This tastes terrible!" Etoru stuck his tongue out making a disgusted face. His thoughts about how the water tasted didn't last very long as he heard Zerori's voice. 'I'll teach you a thing or too later kid.' then dunked him as his tongue was out. He squirmed in the water for a bit as her hand was on his head. When she let go he shot right up coughing and spitting out that disgusting taste. "Blegh! What was that for!?!" Etoru let out a pout. "I'll get you back..." He couldn't help but let out a grin even though he was a bit mad.
"Oh um Maeve, want to race? It'll be so much fun!" Etoru floated out the water. "As in flying. Swimming is reeeally boring when you can fly." Etoru pretended to swim in mid air. He caught the attention from a few people, but he didn't really notice. If he did notice, he'd probably float back down. He noticed how scared people could get if they saw him flying. He floated upside down causing his hair to flip. "So...what do ya say? All 3 of us could race!" Etoru made a little 'cheese' face showing a lot of teeth as he was floating upside down. "Oo! And um I know this seems a bit odd...but...could you please please pretty please! Train me Miss.Zerori!" Etoru's mouth was gaping as he floated around her and Maeve.

She stood up, wading back to her spot, but still remaining mostly above the sea level. She flicked her drenched ruby bangs out of her soft face. She blinked a few times as salt water got into her eyes burning them lightly. She shook her head, flicking water droplets away though stopped with a flick of her ear as she heard Zerori call her a fish demon. She cast a glare her way, her golden eyes burning with her frustration at being teased once more. Though the glare would go unnoticed because as she attempted to send it the hybrid's way she'd find she was already submerged. The glare faded with a curious tilt of her head as she watched Zerori suddenly jump up with a roar while sending some of the shimmering water their way with a playful splash. "H-Hey!" She called out, headfins perking as she moved to shield her face from the water. Her pout shifted into a smile and a bit of a laugh at the playful act.
She couldn't help but giggle again as she saw the demonic saiyan dunk the human hybrid playfully as she made her way back to her. The boy's cute little declaration of revenge only caused her to laugh a bit further. She stopped however as Zerori was suddenly beside her assaulting her with questions. "Scar? I don't think.." She said looking over her toned body for a second to see if there were any scars she might have gotten from battle. "I have to check, even though I've got these armor like dragon scales..." She said putting emphasis on the word dragon to end any more of her fish nonsense. "...My underbelly is a bit...Well, soft." (If you didn't count the visible abs anyway.) She turned, her arms moving to cover the subtle curves of her chest as she let Zerori inspect her back which, unknown to her, put her more prominent asset on display for the hybrid's leering gaze. "I...I don't wear much besides my armor, mortal fashion is so odd to me, so if I put this on wrong... Could you fix it?" She asked, looking over her shoulder with a heavy blush.
She paused, her headfins shooting up as Etoru suddenly came up to her. She stood facing away from him but glancing back so Zerori could work. She cracked a soft smile as he made his excited declaration that they should race. He really was a hyper boy but she assumed all mortal children were like him. She watched him orbit around them a bit and couldn't help but feel a little... Bothered? That a child seemed to be practically playing with the ki and it seemed wrong to her to utilize it as a mere plaything. After all, she was taught that Ki mastery was something that required discipline over the body mind and spirit so that ideal made it bothersome to her that this boy were merely playing with it like it were some sort of toy. She didn't say anything though, after recalling how poorly it went when she criticized the majin girl she met in the woods. So instead she decided to respond to his challenge with a respectful decline. "I would race you Etoru but I do not have the capability of flight as you do... I believe the most I could do was 'blink' but, I never got the chance to learn that ability from my master."
A sad glint seemed to flash over her golden gaze as she thought of her master, but it was only a passing moment. She shook her head and returned her gaze to the boy. "So what else do you tend to do at the beach?" She asked giving him a soft smile as she spoke in a kind tone of voice. "I'm sorry I can't follow along with your race idea." She apologized with a soft little giggle. Having the boy around actually calmed her down a bit because she realized that out of all the people there he was probably the least likely to judge her. She supposed Zerori wouldn't either (being a part demon herself) but her leering gaze kind of made her feel she was looking to her for a different reason entirely.

Zerori grinned at the boy’s declaration of revenge, merely glancing at him as she bared her fangs playfully before she turned back to Maeve. When she asked her question Maeve started to observe herself in question, looking around her self yet still holding her chest protectively. Did she think Zerori was going to attack or something? Sexual assault wasn’t really an issue for Zerori since most of the time she was instigating a wiling party. However, this had nothing to do with that and she could only guess the woman was just nervous around another person being so close, Heh, cute.
Zerori looked down near the woman’s butt, her head tilted curiously when Maeve asked if there was anything wrong to check. Gazing at her back, and remember the HIL-arious emphasis she put on the word ‘Dragon’, Zerori snorted in amusement. “I’ve never seen a dragon before, so if you don’t mind,” She gently grabbed the Dragoness’ sides and looked her over, feeling the scales for herself. “Whoa, they’re sharp, damn!” She hissed, pulling away to look at a cut finger and place it in her mouth. When she pulled it out to see if it was still bleeding, Zerori patted the demoness’ back, “Everythin’ looks fine back here, but oh!” Zerori got a devilicious idea, licking her lips before she grabbed the woman’s sides again more firmly.
“Oh no! I think I did find something! Hold still while I fix it,” She declared before she released her to have her hands hover just above her skin and assaulted her with tickles, laughing maniacally as she did, “I think I found a ticklish spot!”
Once finished, she quickly climbed out of the water like she was holding onto invisible monkey bars and sat down on a barely visible platform of air a good three feet from the surface of the water. Zerori tilted her head at Maeve’s admission of no flight and felt a twinge of pain run across her heart, Ow, damn. Did most demons not fly? What if…? Splashing her feet in the water, the saiyaness hybrid spoke up, “Why not learn to bend air, instead? It’s a different kind of force all together called magic and… to be honest, I can’t use energy either,” She snapped her fingers, calling fire like she had so many times during her interaction with them, “I utilize the elements instead of the natural energy most people can feel; Maybe I could teach you something like that since, you know, you’re a demon?” Kicking water near Etoru’s direction, she grinned, “You too, if you’ve got the gift of magic control! As for training, I think you might die but you've got some basic shit down so... you might survive," She shrugged, giving him a fiendish glare, "Can you handle a demon's Hellish training?"
((Hope it ain't too weird xD))

Etoru flinched a bit but laughed as he knew she was joking after Zerori showed her fangs in response to his 'revenge plan'. Etoru descended towards the water and swam around a bit. It was cold and Etoru hated the cold but he wanted to get used to it. You know, discipline wise. He remembered his grandpa saying something about disciplining your body will help you overcome many obstacles. Then he heard Maeve answer his question about a race and seemed a bit disappointed giving a bit of a pout. "Aw...okay. Well other things I do at the beach...um this is my first time at the beach well THIS beach. Usually I go to ones that people never go to." Etoru shrugged. "And that's usually for training. But I like to examine the little seashells that float up to shore! Oo I know what we could do!" Etoru flew back from them. "Lets see how far we could push the water with using our ki!" Etoru moved back because he didn't want to end up like that cannonball.
Exerting all his ki he let out a cute little roar. Mini waves began to flow in every direction, including Maeve's and Zerori's. Although for a power of 2,310 it wouldn't compare to theirs. "It's not good enough...!" Etoru whined. He turned around and decided to let out his signature move into the water. He pointed his right palm away from the beach and grabbed his wrist with his left hand. A yellow orb began to form and the water around him moved like rapidly back and forth. "Shenkai...! Beam!" He fired a yellow drilling beam that swirled against the oceans currents. Water was being pushed aside like how it would with a jet ski. Just bigger. Etoru began panting lightly. Tada!
[N1]Shenkai Beam fired at ocean---Damage:762
He had a little cocky grin at what he just done. People began staring a bit fearfully and a few evacuated the area. Etoru didn't really pay much notice though. He was having way to much fun. "This was the funnest day I've had. Ever!" Etoru jumped back into the water and popped out. Floating around Zerori kicked water at him which caused him to laugh a bit. His laughing was soon cut off to curiosity. He loved the sound of magic but he had no magic experience. And than his curiosity suddenly turned into fear. He began to shake and whimper a bit. He was half tempted to say no but he needed this! He could be powerful than ever! There was no way he was turning this down! "Y-y-um...o-of c-yeah...I can h-handle...handle it." Etoru stammered over his words. No longer was he 'amazing' but now just scared. Hellish training seemed intense but he handled his grandfathers training! Which probably doesn't compare to hellish training. "S...so um...y-you'll t-train me...?"

Maeve wiggled her hips a bit in an awkward shift as she felt Zerori's gaze looking her over and taking in every detail of her draconic form. She didn't like being examined so closely (or really given any special attention at all for that matter) so the few moments that the demonic saiyan got to stare were painfully awkward for her. She practically jumped out of her skin as she felt the girl's soft hands caress against her smooth scales. At the sudden touch the dragoness would let out a high pitched "Yip!" while suddenly shooting up to a high stand and stiffening like a board. Her headfins waggled and her ears twitched while her face turned several dark shades of scarlet. She squeaked, trying to interject however she stopped as looked back only to see her suckling on her finger. Did she cut herself? She didn't want her to hurt her...
She was going to apologize but she didn't get the chance as Zerori pointed out she noticed something wrong with her swim suit. She perked up in curiosity as she glanced back. "Eh? It's not coming undone is it?" She asked ears drooping as she frowned, worried that she didn't get her swim suit put on right. If it were embarrassing for her to be about in a swim suit she picked out she could only imagine how red she would be if it came undone. "Can you fix IIIITTTTT?!" Her voice raised a few octaves as she exploded into a fit of unexpected giggles as she suddenly felt the demoness' fingers move between her scales to tickle her sensitive skin. Her melodic laughter filled the air as she contorted her body away from the invasion of tickles and scritches from the devilish fingers of Zerori. She giggled snickered and even let out a little snort at one point as she was powerless.
As Zerori seemed to stop finally Maeve let out a few weak laughs as she caught her breath. She wiped a few tears from her eyes as the hybrid suggested using magic to allow her to fly, or more accurately run on air. She offered to teach her and Etoru about utilizing magic. While she seemed to be somewhat joking towards Etoru Maeve felt the need to interject despite the silliness.
"You claim to have control of magic without having control of your own energy? That's... Dangerous actually." Maeve said looking to the demon saiyan with a genuine look of concern. "My master had control over the elements as you've described though she also had mastery of her ki along with it. She always told me that while magic is a powerful tool you may borrow from the elements, if you don't have the discipline and control of your own energy the power of the elements could tear your body asunder." She said, an image of someone being torn apart by their magic flashing before her eyes. "She taught me that you have to be swift as the wind, free as water, sturdy as earth all while having a raging spirit of fire. Upon achieving that level of mastery over body, mind, and spirit you can achieve anything." She spoke her mantra as she cut her gaze to the rolling waves.
"...Just try to be careful, alright?" She said softly, looking over to Zerori once more. "...And you too kiddo." She said glancing over to Etoru for a brief moment.
She waded into the water beside him with a smile. "Though enough with the lecture, I've got a contest to win." She said with a giggle before holding her hand up. Though she didn't often project her ki (She tended to focus on techniques of the blade) she was still more than capable of manifesting a bit of her power in a simple blast. Her hand sparked with a flash of red and black energy as the dragoness focused a fraction of her ki into her palm. Though the bolt gave off a few sparks of dark electricity it looked as if she were in control of it. Though it wasn't a practiced technique the raw amount of power she fired off as a bolt into the ocean managed to create a wall of water. "Not bad for someone who fights solely with a blade huh?" She asked the boy with a smile.

She reveled in the Demoness reaction, laughing so hard that she could definitely feel tears start to form before she got her cool back. While she’d teased Maeve, Etoru had decided to prove his salt by launching a blast from his hands across the ocean, an action that easily panicked half the beach-goers and got a few of them some unwanted glances. With a snort from her nostrils, she tilted her head at the boy, “If you keep that up I think you’ll scare more than the fishes with that attack,” just after he’d accepted her challenge to train. She looked back to the Demoness after she’d made the mention of her power and her face fell into one of soft shock, her mouth slightly open as she listened.
I can die… from learning the elements too?! She thought with a sliver of worry and suddenly the stoic and stern visage of Pyrus entered her mind, remembering the warnings and threats while under his (continued) tutelage. He was a sadistic bastard but the lesson he’d taught her apparently had some solid footing beneath it… Swallowing slightly, but instead giving the wise demoness a shrug, she said simply, “I’ll do my best, but no promises.” She couldn’t just up and lie to her since there wasn’t a reason to hide that bit of honesty; she was a saiyan as much as a demon – so she’d persevere as much as she could.
After the topic had been averted by Maeve in favor of the contest Etoru suggested. The saiyaness watched from her air-pocketed perch as the demoness red and black energy (something she’d hardly seen that might have been exclusive to demons – well, some) and threw it towards the safer side of the ocean from her hand. It was just as large as his, maybe even a bit larger given the difference in power, and she couldn’t help a twinge of excitement at their challenge. Her eyes glittered with delightful mischief before she stood up from her stand of air and adopted a stance.
They didn’t give each other any rules, after all, so when she pulled a hand behind her and ignited her fist – she was sure they knew they’d be in for a surprise. With a harsh laugh, she threw her hand forward and let it out in the form of a fast and mean swing and declared, “My turn!” And the force of her swing made the water hiss and rush upwards and away from the group. It was merely an expansion of the fire from her body, no nearly as powerful as a projectile – but it was enough to sear some of the water from the floor and even enshroud the area above the water in a thick mist for a few solid minutes.
In the meantime, they had a nice bit titan-sized wall of water that wasn’t going to stay a wall forever. And worse… it was kind of boiling hot.
Noticing this, she yelled to the two in a comical panic, “DIVE, DIVE, DIVE!” Before hoping off to try and protect the two. She hoped that they wouldn’t suffer any burns from her attempt to join in their ‘reindeer games.’ If they weren’t hurt, she’d try and chuckle the danger off as she replied to Etoru in a late fashion, “Y-Yeah, I’ll train ya… try not to die…”
((I'll try not to be as late, thanks for yer patience~))

Etoru was paralyzed of fear. What was hellish training! He didn't know and sure did not want to find out. But at the same time he needed too! If he didn't, how would he become stronger! A bunch of thoughts began to run through his mind and he just stared blankly until Zerori cut his thoughts off. "Huh? O-oh um right Ms.Zerori! Wait...what else could I be scaring? Crabs?" Etoru didn't even think she was talking about anything on land due to them being in the water. He assumed she meant other sea animals. "Um...with all do respect Ms.Zerori..." He flew out of the water and upside down towards her face. His hair would flop upside down. "Why do you care about the animals..." He booped her nose with his index finger and swiftly moved back into the water.
Etoru listened intently to her lecture. Etoru's eyes sparkled in amazement. He didn't quite understand why it was dangerous nor did he care. Speaking about her masters advice is what made him really interested. He was daydreaming about magic and just ignored the lecture. Then Maeve spoke once more and he shook his head. "Huh?" Etoru was lost. What were they talking about now? Oh right the competition! He gaped his mouth open in excitement and watched as Maeve swam over. He smirked. There was no way she'd be able to make a wall bigger than Etoru's. Etoru thought his was large despite it being slightly bigger than a jet skis trail. When Maeve fired the blast Etoru's jaw gaped open. "You cheated! No fair!" Etoru crossed his arms and pouted. Etoru blinked blankly at Zerori when she yelled my turn. Etoru growled under his teeth that she made a bigger blast than him, and she didn't use any ki at all! "W-what. Eep!" Etoru dove under the water as instructed to avoid the boiling water being rushed at them.
When they popped back up Etoru was gasping for breath. He began to cough as he swallowed some water. He was angry, he was about to yell at Zerori blindly before she claimed that she would train him. Etoru's frustration faded away and he was met with joy. He was going to become the fighter he always wanted to be! Unconsciously, he jumped into the air and onto Zerori's shoulders. "I won't let you down! Now forward!" He pointed dramatically at Maeve signaling for 'battle'. "Wait, I need a sword..." Etoru looked around and sighed as he couldn't find anything. "I'll use ki blasts! Onward!"

"W-Wawawhat?!" Maeve stammered, her golden eyes going wide as saucers as the massive wall of boiling threatened to overtake them. "Kyyyaaaahhhhhh" She cried out, her headfin's drooping in dread as she saw the steamy wave of pain come closer and closer to them. "Not good not good not good!" She yelled out in a panicked frenzy flailing her arms as she leaned back away from the wall. She was scared and panicking at the sheer sight of it that she wasn't thinking. As her mind raced on what she was going to do she recalled a very specific memory.
Maeve narrowed her eyes as she suddenly lowered her knees, sinking into the water a bit as she began to focus her energy. "Oooooorrraaaa" She exhaled as she sprung up out of the water high above the wave. "Let's go! Demon Skull Beheading!" She shouted, though rather than using her blade she cut through the steamy water with a mighty ki infused chop. Her palm split and stopped the mighty wave as she cut to the bottom. Unfortunately for Maeve though, that just meant the wave of water was sent crashing down on her washing her away with a surprised squeak.
As the demonic saiyan and Etoru surfaced they'd notice Maeve hadn't just yet. That was until they'd see her wash up on the shore, seaweed in hair spiky hair and a dizzy expression on her face. Her skin was twinged with red from the hot water and she could only let out a weary giggle as Etoru called out to her.
"Ehehehe...Fight? Naw...Naw I think I'm good." She said dismissively through her daze. "Say Etoru, did you get taller?" She babbled seeing him sitting on Zerori's shoulders.
"...Why is everything swaying?"
Now it's my turn to be the slow poke ;-;

Caught off guard by the massive attack made my Maeve, she could only shake her head at the damage potential of it before the split water crashed down on the woman and – in turn – Zerori and Etoru as they dived beneath the water. Upon surfacing, she sputtered a bit before finally giving a sneeze and looking around her. The boy soon followed after, coughing from the water and ready to yell at her add she not appease him.
When the self-made tide finally died down and Zerori could feel that the water had cooled back to the normal temperature, she looked around for the demon woman when she didn’t immediately surface, “-The hell?” She muttered, even as Etoru jumped upon her shoulders and demanded that they charge. Her face dropped into a dry expression but she didn’t much mind since it was actually… cute endearing. Just try to ignore the cuteness… She thought with a slight tinge to her cheeks.
It wasn’t until she looked farther inland that she noticed a body on the sands and her eyes widened before she held out of hand to grasp an anchor of air and pulled herself up with a curse, “Shit!” before disappearing into a step with Etoru on her shoulders. He would see the world rush passed him as if the sights he saw were in ‘fast forward’ before they arrived next to Maeve and she appeared once more, kneeling at her side, “Damn, y’alright?! That was a hell of a chop!” At her babbling, asking the boy if he was taller, the saiyaness laughed softly, “Walk it off, ‘Demon Girl’,” And reached forward to grasp at her shoulder and ease her back up to her feet and lead her back to the soft sands to let her sit if she chose to.
Glancing back up at the boy from the angle he was on her shoulders, she made a motion for him to go to the boardwalk, “Hey. Ice cream. Get some,” Before she reached into her top and pulled out a single credit chip. After that heated experience, they would all need something to cool down – herself included – before handing the chip to him. “Vanilla for me, And uhm…” She glanced at the girl, “Got yer wits about ya to say what kind of flavor you like?... if you like ice cream… that is…” She didn’t even think to ask; after all, who the fuck didn’t like ice cream?!
She left Etoru to get his own flavor since he was, after all, a child who liked ice cream. Children who didn't like ice cream didn't exist - she was certain.

Etoru laughed as he jumped on her shoulders. Those thoughts quickly escaped when she responded with 'The hell?' Etoru assumed that she didn't really want him to be there but she didn't say anything after that. So he just stayed. He adjusted his grip so he wouldn't fall off. He flinched when he heard Zerori yell. "What's wr-Eep!" Etoru was cut off as she took a super fast step which caused him to cling onto her shoulder tightly. When they stopped he was still clinging tightly and kept his face on the back of her head. He was too scared if she took another step like that. He realized that they weren't going to be moving any time soon so hesitantly, he slowly loosened his grip and sat up. He blinked blankly as he looked down at Maeve. He had a wide smile when she said he got taller. "Really!? Wow! That's awesome!" But his smile quickly turned into a frown when Zerori laughed at Maeve's comment. "Ms.Zerori...you don't think I'm tall?" He pouted. "You're not tall." He "Hmphed" and looked back at Maeve.
He clung onto her tightly as she knelt down to pick up Maeve. Etoru frowned. "Did you forget I'm here?! I could have fell..." He said attempting to sound intimidating. Honestly it was anything but intimidating. He blinked blankly when she ordered him to get ice cream. "Can you not say please...?" He said while taking the card. He's only ever ate ice cream like about twice? Etoru lives on a farm and not much ice cream trucks go down by there. As he listened to the flavors he nodded. "Maeve I'll surprise you!" He said before taking off. Although he was really slow though considering how low his power was. When he arrived there was no ice cream stand. "Maeve and Zerori probably scared them away...those rascals." Etoru said jokingly. Etoru decided to play a joke. He hid the card between his tail, folding it. He flew back and shrugged. "Ms.Zerori and Ms.Maeve! You scared away precious ice cream!" He floated back into the water with the credit card still concealed between his tail.

As Maeve was pulled up to a sitting position she would slump forward a bit, her wet bangs falling down to cover her eyes. She was having a hard time getting adjusted to the sudden shift in positioning for her world was still spinning. "Oooo...." She murmured lowly in a futile attempt to try and regain some semblance of what was going on or where she was. That groan was also her response to the question on ice cream flavoring that went otherwise unheard to the demoness. (Having Etoru surprise her with a flavor choice was probably the best course of action actually.) Though she didn't know what Zerori was sending Etoru to get and at the moment it didn't really matter to her. Her golden eyes fluttered for a moment and as Etoru scampered off she would slap her cheeks with her palms twice causing her eyes to widen a bit in alarm from the sudden sting of pain. "Bleh, I think I swallowed more salt than water." She complained, the spinning from the jarring force of the water crashing over her finally seeming to subside.
She looked up to Zerori, sitting up normally. "...I'm better now, really. Sorry for worrying you." She reassured the demonic saiyan as she closed her golden eyes and cracked a sheepish smile. A sweet little giggle escaped her lips, faint blush kissing her cheeks as she realized the absurdity of it all. She shook her head for a moment before she pulled herself up to a stand. She brushed the wet sand from the back of her legs and rear and ran a clawed hand through her salty ruby locks to brush them out of her eyes. She blinked a few more times, letting her eyelashes brush the burning salt out of her eyes as she turned her attention to Zerori.
"Do mortals always do stuff like this at the beach?" She smiled, fairly certain that she knew the answer already. "Though, I must admit... Despite everything, I'm having a lot of fun..." She mused, looking out to the ocean thoughtfully. It had been, depressingly enough, quite some time since she had done anything that was 'just for fun.' She would have to do this more often. Zerori didn't seem like a bad sort, a bit rough around the edges maybe but who wasn't? Etoru was a good kid too, his hyperactive optimism being infectious. Perhaps she could keep in touch with the two of them.
"We might have to make this a regular thing." She said with a bit of a chuckle looking back to the other woman just as Etoru came rushing back. She blinked, confused at what he said they scared off. "Precious...Eyes Cream? That sounds vile! Why would we want that?" Even demons didn't dine on such strange foods. She wasn't sure what went into 'Eye's Cream' but she wanted no part in it. She made this evident with her overly dramatic sticking out of the tongue.

She glanced at Etoru with a half-smile at his antics; she knew she was tall but despite that she’d seen quite a few taller than she was. Not that I mind; being a giant an among men isn’t going to snag me any prospective lookers, She mused inwardly in a playful way. Her desires were more or less wrought from a need than a want to just screw everything that walked by. Speaking of which, as Etoru heeded her words to go fetch ice cream, she stayed to make sure the demoness didn’t actually get hurt. At her question of whether this was what ‘mortals’ do, her face screwed up a bit in confusion.
“Ah… I wouldn’t really know. I’ve been here maybe… three months at best. Tch, it’s been more hellish than actual relaxation,” She shrugged, looking in the direction she saw Etoru run off and saw that he was having some difficulty finding a vendor of the treat. He’s not going to find any, is he…? She lamented with an amused scoffed and looked back at the demoness with a wide-eyed expression at her offer to do this regularly, “Oh… I, uh-” She stammered, genuinely caught off guard at the idea of taking time off like this again to hang out. She’d never done this sort of things with ‘friends’; just strangers that she’d never really meet again. The universe was a big place. “It’s not that I don’t like you, but I-” before she could continue, Etoru returned.
-without ice cream.
Slapping a hand to her face, she groaned, “You don’t scare away ice cream, kid, you… wait, is this a joke?” She stopped, realizing that he actually might have set this up. Still! Placing her hands on her hips, she leered at him with a sardonic grin once more, “Oh, ha ha. Now fess up; where’s the ice cream?” It was then that she noticed he didn’t have the card, either and would have made a mention of it had Maeve not had a very dramatic reaction to what she was clearly realize she thought they wanted ‘eyes cream’.
She shook her head, “Oh, whoa. Yeah. No. It’s not… ugh!” She pinched the bridge of her nose, feeling like an idiot to have to explain this, “It’s, like this cream that’s actually ice. I can’t really explain how humans make it or anything, since I’ve only had it a few times, but it’s like making flavored snow, y’know?! It’s got… Oh, it’s got flavors! C’mon, work with me here…”

As Etoru came back with his grin that stretched from ear to ear he waited to see if they'd figure out the trick. When he jumped into the water he looked up at both of them, a bit confused to what Maeve said. What's eyes cream? Etoru finally realized she didn't know what ice cream was when Zerori had to explain and wasn't surprised due to the fact he has recently tried ice cream and it was new to him as well. He looked up at the two and oddly confused. "Um..." He sure wasn't playing a joke about them scaring away the vendors but he didn't exactly explain it well as he said 'scared off the icecream'. He frowned and complained as he looked up at her. "No this isn't a joke Ms.Zerori..." He said attempting to get out of the situation clean he started giving her puppy eyes. "The store people ran away along with everyone on the beach from our blasts...and I....lost? Your card...? Yes I lost your card Ms.Zerori! I do not have it on me...! N....ope!" Etoru was lying about the card but the people running away was all real.
He floated out of the water as he was getting cold and the card was actually quite visible from his tail. "I'm freezing guys. Imma get out of the water..." He covered his arms with his hands shaking. Etoru wasn't used to cold climates due to being in the hot weather most of his life. He sat down on the center of the board walk with his legs criss crossed. He moved his tail to his face to double check the card was there and grinned as he put his tail back.
(How tall is Zerori anyways lmao.)
