Tania nodded enthusiastically as Charlene confirmed that they were just fine, striking a different pose alongside her for dramatic effect. Well, maybe not so much for dramatic effect and more just because it was something she found fun. That tended to be the reasoning behind a lot of things that Tania did. ”Yup yup! It takes more than a little space pod ride to get us down!” Cipher 24 was right; he really shouldn’t have been worried. The two of them were tougher that that!
”Oh, that’s what you are Mr. Green Guy?” Tania asked in amazement as she turned back to the green man. She had never heard of Saibamen before, but the name sounded kind of cool. That had to count for something. The green man was throwing a bit of a fit and seemed to be mad at Cipher 24 for some reason. Tania grinned at him and gave him a thumbs-up. ”Aww, don’t be like that. You did a lot to help us out today. Thanks Mr. Green Guy!” she tried to cheer him up, still completely oblivious as to what he was actually trying to communicate. In this case, she was under the impression that he was maybe feeling ignored or underappreciated.
Whatever had been making the Saibaman freak out, he didn’t stay upset for very long. That frown soon turned into a smile as he looked in Tania’s direction and squealed again. He then threw his stripey arms around her in a big hug, causing her to smile even more and hug him back. ”Aww... I like you too,” she giggled as he released her and gave her a quick pat on the head. Mr. Green Guy briefly turned his attention to a pile of equipment and fished out a small crystal, promptly presenting it to the child. ”Is this a reward for completing the quest?” Tania asked excitedly. She had thought that the reward for solving the riddle had been finding Cipher 24. She didn’t think there would be actual loot involved. Now there was no doubt that she was a bonafide adventurer! The child admired the crystal for a few moments before accepting it gratefully. He then attempted to give Charlene a hug as well before bowing and taking his leave of the trio. That was fun! Tania would have to play with her new friend again sometime.
After a cheerful goodbye wave to her departing friend, Tania turned to Cipher 24 and tried to give him her best salute going off of what she had seen in the media. In actuality, her posture was a bit off and her hand was touched to the very top of the bridge of her nose instead of her forehead like it was supposed to be. ”Tania and Charlene reporting for duty, Mr. Cipher 24! We’re here to help you with your super important mission! What do you want us to do?”
