((your eagerness for manic monkey minute is noted Mr Wolfbane . I will make a thread to see what the consensus is but my initial response was that perhaps this is too soon - I've put a poll up here: wodsouls.freeforums.net/thread/429/quickvote-oozaru-time?page=1&scrollTo=1057 everyone can decide whether to do it now or put off a little longer. I do however have an update for this thread that I was typing yesterday, had the idea of putting up any generally relevant pieces here so others can find them without too much digging. I definitely encourage people to post any snippets of their fight that become relevant to the area as a whole[though you can earn some extra grading if you avoid copy-paste]))Several battles were now occurring in tandem. Rieko and Bao seemed to have been left behind on the arena floor as the chaos had spread, casualties already resulting from the cruel deeds of these villainous gate-crashers. A single corner of the main temple had crumbled thanks to Allistair, but this damage was superficial compared to what was happening now. Tsumuri caused a crater in the arena grandstands as his battle with Pieter heated further, causing debris and rubble to go flying. It wouldn't be too long untill the structure destabilised, and Oguma and Azurai certainly weren't helping. While Tsumuri's renegade miscreants continued to terrorise onlookers and block the exits, Oguma's demon gate came crashing down, soaring past it's intended target and instead obliterating those caught in it's trajectory, including on of the otherwise crowded exits. Panic overcoming them completely, a stampede mentality came to overwhelm even tsumuri's goons, the civilians finally beginning to pour out of there. Police sirens could be heard in the distance, the budokai tenkaichi supervisors had alerted the authorities to the original disturbance caused by Pieter and Reiko... they had no idea how far off the deep end they were about to dive in to. "You bastard!" echoed Azurai's cry from one side of the arena, a figure bursting into action after a few horror-filled moments digest the disastrous effect of the demons gate. "Come and get it!" came another shout, though not addressed at the first, instead punctuating an end to a brief pause in the secondary bout of good vs evil between Pieter and Tsumuri.

With Oguma catching her attack and increasing in power, things were looking more dire, especially since someone in black and his goons had shown up and seemed to be causing trouble as well, ranting and raving all the while. The celebration for peace was in utter chaos, and with as many innocent, defenseless people still there, this didn't seem like the time and place to take on Oguma. Peiter seemed to be taking care of the the man in black, and Reiko's scanners showed that the saiyan would likely make short work of him. That was good, and she faith in Peiter. Still, the man in black had men all around, and though they needed to be taken care of, she wouldn't be able to stop them if Oguma wasn't left alone, and at the same time, they'd have free reign over he crown if she fought Oguma. She cursed to herself, and powered down. It was what she heard Koji called a Morton's Fork. She was given a choice, but the end result would be the same regardless.
That was until Reiko spotted another man. She didn't really pay him much mind, though he looked suspicious, even a little bit like the man in black, he seemed to have been escorting civilians out of the area. Appreciated, but not really the most notable except for his power level. It was then, however, that he approached Oguma. This was perfect, and the idea of another ally filled her with hope. Hopefully, he'd be able to hold his own for a while, though she doubted he'd be able to defeat him. Regardless, he'd buy her time to get the situation more under control, and then she'd join him and try to settle the score with Oguma.
Reiko found that she didn't need to overclock herself again in order to take care of the man in black's "order". They were martial artist, yes, and thus a threat to normal people. However, Reiko wasn't. First, she was able to "teleport" in behind a couple for a surprise. Before they could turn around, she back handed one, sending him flying into the other. She flew straight into another, knocking them over like bowling pins. She then found some were finally starting to pay attention to her, and her found herself surrounded. Reiko's eyes then started to glow, she flew up in the air, and spun around while she fired and her eye beams in a burst that took out the group.
This continued on for a while, Reiko single highhandedly taking over Tsumuri's minions. Of course, this may have not been all of them, surely. There were probably others waiting in the wings, reinforcements, or simply ones she didn't know were there, hiding, waiting for another chance to strike. Regardless, the situation seemed to be more under control, at least in the area of the order. "Is that all you've got!" With that subsided, she spotted her brother Koji, running towards her.
"Koji, you have to leave. Now! Are you dense or something? Can you even tell what's going on?!" She barked at him.
"Me dense? You used the overdrive at the top of a hat? And if you're gonna keep fighting like this, I'm going to have to be here to make sure you don't break yourself."
"Koji," Reiko looked down, and then put her hand on Koji's shoulder. "I can't worry about that now. There's too much at stake. And if you die, there's nobody who'd know how to repair me anyway. Please, if you want to help me now, just hand me my swords." Koji hesitated before handing her her two samurai swords, and running towards the exit. At this point, Reiko didn't want to be without them, but at the same time, they wouldn't be allowed in the tournament. But, of course, with the tournament in its current stake of disarray such rules like now weapons didn't really matter. The only thing that mattered was getting everything under control again.

What a hot mess. Weren't these things supposed to be formal? Grand, upstanding events? And now this? The second representative of Arcose was enjoying this little show for a bit. The weaklings fought, pounding each other into the ground, until the ruckus began. This was a tournament - why can't people wait their turn for their fight? Needless to say, some didn't. Too good for a system or something? Ingrates, the lot of them. Phrozin despised it here, on Earth. The humans were disgusting, and the Saiyans, no less. Granted that there were a few other species here, he paid them no mind. They were all ultimately inferior, anyway. They should be honored that he was here to begin with, although the accommodations were poor. Defenses were poor as well. It may be a gathering to celebrate peace, but it means nothing when an assassin can simply sit within the crowd, undetected. Embarassing, Phrozin would think. But Earth is rarely what anyone expects it to be, really. The sound of the commotion, which was much more than that of what a normal match would be like, drew Phrozin to the entrance of the ring. The place was in shambles. The last of the stragglers were beginning to pine out of the stadium by the time Phrozin arrived, watching the scuffles.
Total madness. But Phrozin paid no mind to them. One of the people was rushing the civilians out, while others were engaged in combat too heated to be regular tournament matches. Although, at this point, that was a given, right? Tournament was over? Such a tragedy. Phrozin had actually expected to get a fight out of this dull planet. Ah, well, the night is still young - he may have his wish yet, hm?
There were thugs and goons everywhere, although he watched one of the fighters take a number of them out, firing lasers out of autonomous eyeballs. Inorganic to the 'T', it seemed, the strange machine. Suspicious. But not truly worth his effort. Phrozin proceeded to step up and onto the ring, before the scuttles, calmly watching the madness with his arms behind his back. He approached the android he saw before, standing beside her but, of course, saying nothing. There was never anything for him to say. With his suppressed power, his presence felt like nothing more than a small animal, perhaps a rabbit or a raccoon. It would be an effective way of making sure he was neutral in this struggle, at least for the time being. He was getting rather antsy.
Blinking, he glanced at her, and then at the buffoons struggling to throw punches at one another. He thought about how long it would take for one of them to die - five minutes, perhaps? There was one fighter who seemed much stronger than the rest, how would they deal with that? An uneasy feeling filled Phrozin's gut. How would he deal with it, himself? It had honestly been a long time since he had fought anyone on a truly serious level, acting as little more than a galactic police officer for way too long. He had more dignity than that, though, and so he stood, watching. Maybe he would get involved.
But why should he?

While everyone was fighting Houri managed to pull herself out of the still fleeing crowds, who by this point had thinned out quite a lot. As she looked around she could see that there was still one lizard looking guy and a strange purple or blue robot around who had not gotten to fighting yet. Rather then get stuck in battle the weak woman ran to the nearest exit with the last of her strength and attempted to escape. There was no way she was going to stick around and get killed when she had nearly had a spear thrown through her.
(Houri is exiting this thread.)

People were running amuck, much to one specific male's displeasure. The sky was dark and peoples screams filled what should have been cheers! Things must have been going haywire in the tournament grounds. That wasn't good, especially for the new contender that had only just registered himself. Hanzo Ozu was sprinting and hopping over people, even running on a few men and women's heads of course he apologized to every single person he walked on. This was supposed to be fun, according to the papers but appeared to be terrifying. In a good two minutes did Hanzo just reach the main grounds, seeing different fighters duel and fight one another. From Androids to Arcosians to the apparent powerful being.
"Darn..I must be really late!"
The male spoke to himself, running into the crowd's seats. His clothes were neat and cleaned as he wanted to make a good impression..looks like that would be a waste if he got involved. And he was definitely going to try and get in the mix.

As the chaos unravelled Hanzo would have seen three main battles emerging. The mighty demon of the spear, Oguma, against the brave monk Azurai, battling in the eastern reaches of the stands. ( wodsouls.freeforums.net/thread/414/centurial-conference-combat-azurai-oguma ) In the lower reaches near the tournament ring itself, the mechanised Reiko giving it her all against the vaguely reptilian alien, Phrozen. ( wodsouls.freeforums.net/thread/413/centurial-conference-combat-reiko-phrozen ) and towards the edge of the stands now, the president Bao making an utter mockery of an otherwise compelling fight between the the saiyan Pieter and the demon Tsumuri. ( wodsouls.freeforums.net/thread/410/centurial-conference-combat-pieter-tsumari ) Tsumuri had called off his goons with some sort of signal, but a few were still attempting to make their escape as law enforcement blocked a few of the closest avenues for escape. Hanzo had a few options - join in one of the three fights ((best to pm the people involved in the fight you want and ask if theyre happy for you to join in)) or intercept the goons quickly before they could get away - either way, there was no doubt a fight would soon come his way. ((Ok, I'd have Bao come over and get you more directly involved, but right now he's hanging from Tsumuri so I'll have to wait for Pieter and Tsumuri to post before I can untangle myself from there. As mentioned, you can pm some of the members mentioned above if you want to join a specific one of the three fight threads, or write a 'solo' post here detailing a battle between you and tsumuri's cloaked minions, giving me time to come meet you.))

(This post is set just as Phrozin joins in a distant location)
Silently floating a good distance above the battle-torn arena a small, pea-shaped drone slowly moves around as it watches and studies each participant. As it floats it avoids damage from debris, stray energy waves and strong gusts of air powerful enough to scar concrete. The drone zooms in on each participant, recording each participants every move but also sending a live signal to a private frequency.
This frequency travels thousands of kilometres away to a distant, hidden location. On the receiving end of this air-wave is a man. This man sits on his luxurious couch sipping from a glass of expensive wine. With one of his leg's crossing the other and arms spread wide across the length of the couch this man watches the live-feed of the many warriors and fighters battling it out, taking note of their every move.
"A Monk, a Demon, an Animalistic fighter, a Cloaked Man, The President and a Robotic Bitch."
The man takes a sip of his wine rolling his eyes at the chaos which unfolded before his drone, and indirectly before of him. After taking his sip the man's eyes widen as the drone zooms in on a new addition to the chaos.
"An Arcosian?... Now this is starting to get me interested..."
The man looks towards the only other man standing in the room. The other man is of a tall and largish build, standing behind the couch with his arms crossed and his back straight.
"Keep me posted"
The man quickly gets up off of his couch and hands the other man in the room his unfinished glass of wine as he prepares to take his leave. The other man, who is now in possession of his bosses unfinished glass of wine, stays in his position.
"Yes Mr. Hisashi sir"
The man, now known as Hisashi, smiles at his employee patting him on the back as he heads towards the door. Before leaving Hisashi grabs a black coat and a white mask off of the only coat hanger in the room and turns to the only other man in the room.
"Oh and feel free to relax in my absence, as long as you keep me up to date on this... situation... I don't care what you do. Enjoy the wine while it lasts!"
Hisashi takes his leave, his destination unknown.

(Taken from my fight against Oguma, deciding to put this here in-case anyone wishes to apply it to their RP's)
...this purple aura would expand into a large white flash carrying across the entire arena and more as if it were a flash of lightning. Everyone from the arena to west city would see this white flash of light, but only for a split second.

Far above, the clouds had begin to thin, the silky edges of the pale moon beginning their unveiling. It would not be long before the high winds whisked away these clouds completely.
Soon, very soon.

Quash had managed to knock the guards out as a blinding white flash of light entered the building, disorienting him for a split-second before he could see again. The Saiyan king was slowly walking as the sky darkened outside and he felt small tremors from the chaos that erupted outside. He was thinking to himself about his plan and how he should put it into action as he stepped outside and saw the tumultuous affair unfolding.
A strange bald human and what appeared to be a demon where fighting. He also saw a woman fighting an Arcosian in another part of the ring from his viewpoint. He was also surprised to see a Saiyan and some...thing fighting it out as the previously disappeared president was. Quash eyes briefly followed the outline of a small round object that hovered over the fights for a second before flying away.
"What's going on here?" The royal leader walked up to a group of humans, towering over them like a giant.

Fate, hearing word of a tournament decided to observe it. He would have joined, but he was still slightly winded from his little 'training' session. So he just decides to fly a couple hundred feet and observe from there.

This became so scattered, but I'm going to be doing the best to grade it. Since this thread covered introductions and how it came to start this madness in the first place, I'll keep this separate from the fights. These are the individual gains for everyone I see here.
Azurai: 775 power level gained
Oguma: 3556 power level gained
Bao: 2699 power level gained
Tsumuri: 1720 power level gained
I'll be leaving myself out, as well as a few others for 2 reasons: 1) Grading my own work would be unfair, 2) It is a lot of work as it is. If a returning player comes back, then their portion of the saga will be graded. Otherwise, it won't be graded. If I missed you, one of the other guys will cover you for your participation and so forth.

Pieter: 4602 Definitely on your A game On grading side, you also missed a couple others(such as Rusa, Fate and Hanzo), and I guess for general normalisation/adjustment purposes I'll also put down what I graded the rest at (see if we're in sync still) - Rusa: 573 (assuming he wants this as Zeni, did better in quality rating compared to his earlier Az stuff) Azurai: 752 (he hits his stride once he gets to his battle after this thread, but this was decent) Fate: 53 (very small word count XD) Hanzo: 247 Oguma: 3035 (looks like you may have combined Holly's into Oguma's by accident? and yes, Weights in effect ) Holly: 372 Tsumuri: 1735 (also weights) (and just for reference I place Bao's content at same ranking as Azurai's, meaning: 2937, decent but a bit messy) Ungraded due to inactivity – Reiko, Phrozin, Alistair, Quash
