[Thread PL: 9,664]
It was a quiet, peaceful night. The stars were out, though it was hard to tell with the street lights, and the pale moon was full. There were few people out in this small town, with most of the population having gone to bed. Though anyone out walked the streets without fear. This was a nice, peaceful town, very low crime rate (at the very most, a theft or two, nothing truly violent or heinous), and this night seemed no different from any other night.
However, this night was going to prove to be very different to any other night, different for the worst.
At the far side of town was a church, a rather small affair with a bell tower. A dark form moved atop the bell tower, hidden in its shadows. Behind a pair of shades, the man's red eyes looked over the town below. Small, quiet, completely sheltered from the dangers that would threaten the people of this place. It was disgraceful! This place was practically coddling them. How could these people hope to change and grow stronger if they were to be sheltered from the world?
Well, Doctor Lunar Mensis was going to change all that.
With a small smile, he rose his hands high into the air, focusing his power on the town below. As he did so, his mouth opened and he began to sing. Though he didn't raise his voice, his words would echo through the minds of the townsfolk down below.
Cower in fear... Close you eyes... Go to the place where you feel safe. Trust in the lies... Tell yourself you'll be fine... But you can't deny... The chills up your spine!
Anyone who was awake at this hour would start seeing...things. Unnatural things. Things that would upset and frighten their perspective of the world. It would start out small, and then grow. And judging by how people like this responded to fear, their panic would no doubt awaken others, bringing them into this wonderful nightmare that Lunar was giving them. They would cower, they would scream, they would fight, and if they survived, they would be stronger.
The very thought caused Lunar to laugh out loud in glee.

Drake walked down the street of a small quit town. It as peaceful as a good break from all his fights. However it was about to be interrupted.
Cower in fear... Close you eyes... Go to the place where you feel safe. Trust in the lies... Tell yourself you'll be fine... But you can't deny... The chills up your spine!
What was this? he pondered to himself. A check on his scouter revealed another power level was in town. They were close but he was slightly lower and that gap would only increase with his disabilities. He flew up and noticed a dark shape on the bell tower of a church. He lifted himself up and floated towards the sight. Whispers began traveling in the edge of his mind. He looked to find glowing yellow feline eyes peeking out from the darkness. It looked as if it was taking in a more definite shape and then a tail flicked past. He grinned. Bad move kitty, he thought as he flew at it. Ki blazed through him incinerating the darkness. "Who is messing with my head?" he said approaching the shadowed cause of the hallucinations.

Sala sat upon the roof of a round house, swaying playfully from side to side when, suddenly, she was hit by what may be the worst trip of her life.
Cower in fear... Close you eyes... Go to the place where you feel safe. Trust in the lies... Tell yourself you'll be fine... But you can't deny... The chills up your spine!
A horror gripped her as she looked to her hands and saw them wrinkled and old. Entirely gross! She gasped and looked at the rest of her body - lanky rather than shapely, grey instead of pink, and all the wrinkles! All the horrible wrinkles! "Noooooooo!" she screeched, zipping off to find a reflective surface. She stopped in front of a store window and gazed at the old, haggard Majin before her. "This can't be real!" screamed Sala. A newspaper hit her in the face. She opened it, glaring down at the page until she saw something that struck her full of horror.
"Worldwide Sugar Shortage: No Candy Anywhere (Yes, We Mean Anywhere)"
Panic set in. Sala started to hyperventilate. This was more than her gummy, purple heart could take. She fell to her knees, clutching the newspaper to her chest, sobbing softly. "This can't be real! This can't be real! This can't be real!" She tossed the newspaper aside and ran to find an open space to catch her breath from this waking nightmare. Standing in the park was herself, but the way she's supposed to look. She smiled and stared at Sala with malevolence in her eyes, her finger pointing behind her.
The old, ugly, grey Sala looked to what the pretty Sala was pointing at. It looked to be a pair of headstones. Engraved on them were two names (the only things engraved upon them, in fact): Sim and Bim. Sala's eyes widened and she looked to her younger self. Grinning with pride, she said, "We did this. This is what we are inside." The younger Sala's antenna shifted and a black beam hit the headstones.
Something upset the dirt. The smell of rot hit her nose and a pained moan reached her ears. "It hurts..." came a deep voice, "Sala, it hurts..." A fat, blue hand reached up through the dirt, more like a mitten with a fingernail where the index finger would be. A tentacle, shorter than her own and pale yellow in colour writhed out of the other grave. "Why did you kill our parents, Sala?" groaned the yellow creature.
Sala fell onto her rear and started to back up.
Sim and Bim rose from their graves, Bim's big stomach was opened up and unable to close, exposing his heart and liver, oozing a steady stream of purple blood onto the ground. It looked like something had carved out his guts... intestines dragged upon the floor and his dessicate lungs wheezed. Half of Sim's childlike face was gone, leaving a single, red eye attached to a lower jaw. Various weapons stuck out of his little body, swords, spears, arrows. Some parts looked as though they'd been burnt through with a beam, similar to his face.
"Do you see?" cooed the other Sala, standing to face her. "You've brought them nothing but suffering and death, just like your parents. This is what you are on the inside: weak, ugly and powerless. This world would be better off without you...
"But you'll never release it from the pain of your hideous existence, will you? You could have stayed in the Demon Realm for eternity, but you chose to inflict yourself upon the Earth. But that's fine... the longer you live, the closer I get to overtaking you." Sala's eyes widened, "D-Dante?" The other Sala lifted the frail Sala off the ground, "No. I am you. I have always been you." Sala struggled, feeling intense pressure building within her body.
"And one day, I will consume you."
The young Sala clenched her fist and Sala's body began to expand and puff up. Her eyes bulged out of her head, swollen tongue extending from her mouth. Her body grew and grew until she popped in a massive explosion of blood, flesh and entrails that quickly burnt to ashes as they hit the floor.
Consciousness faded. The young Sala, the beautiful Sala, the victorious Sala, vanished along with the tortured souls of her younger brothers.
Sala fainted upon the grass of the park, foaming from the mouth.

Lunar couldn't wipe the smile from his face as he started hearing the cries of surprise, panic and terror starting to pick up down below. It was beginning. The glorious nightmare that would, if all went as well as Lunar hoped, would drag these people out of their safe, sheltered existence and help them grow stronger. The thought of that glorious thought almost made the red head laugh in glee.
Then, he felt something. Down in the town below. It was small, but he could definitely sense it. A power, greater than that of the townspeople. But that wasn't what drew his attention. No, what this power felt like was what caught him. It definitely wasn't human, but amidst it was a power he did recognize. A tinge of the same power that flowed through him. There was someone like him down there! His lips stretched into a manic grin. He couldn't believe it! He had to find just who this power belonged to!
"Who is messing with my head?"
Lunar hadn't even noticed him approach, he had been so distracted. A human flying towards him, with a power level similar in strength to his own. It seemed he had somewhat gotten caught up in this nightmare as well. How else would he explain this man's question? Trying to force the manic grin away from his face, he turned towards incoming man.
"Oh, my deepest apologies. It seems you got a little caught up in my little, experiment. No harm intended of course." He silently hoped it would be enough to get this man to go away. He had to find the source of that power.

"Tch...This city is so much bigger than Tartar Town. I can't believe it already got so dark out! It took me too long to gather all that was asked." Maeve, the demonic dragoness sighed as she hung her head letting her spiky ruby locks cover her eyes briefly. She had been sitting at a bus stop alone in the darkness of night. Resting at her sides were a few bags stuffed to the brim with various odds and ends she was sent to out to get by the Shrimp family, the one's currently offering her a spot in their home. The youngest daughter of the Rakshasa clan of demons had come to the city for the first time alone, she thought she could handle the simple task of fetching groceries but here she was: hours later in the middle of the night waiting for the late night transport to take her from the Eastern Lands to the Southern Islands. She was probably going to make it back by dawn if she were lucky.

"Hm?" Her head fins perked as she looked up, ears twitching at the distorted sound of the twisted shadow's spell. A cool chill filled her with dread as she looked into the darkness, her molten amber eyes staring out into the night.
Ţ̵ŕ͘us͜͝t ͞i͡n̶͜͝ ̴͏t̛h̵͢͏e҉ ̡͜͏li̧͞ę̸s.͘.͟͠.͡

Maeve stood up, her hands clasped around the Great Cleaver: Fateburn as she looked out to the darkness. Her eyes skirted all about as she tried to focus and fixate on...Something...But she couldn't keep herself focused. Her vision was blurring and distorting as she stood, the buildings around her seemed to meld together and the street beneath her feet felt sticky and warm. Like a thick runny tar that she was slowly sinking into. "W-What...What is this? What's going on?" Maeve stammered, her body trembling as her sense of self began to slip to this personal hell that the shadow above was creating for each of his victims.
T̡̀h̵̡e̸͡ ͘ch͘҉il̶l͏̧͘s u̧p̧̀ y̛̕o̷̢ư͞r̸ s͢͝p̶͟͠i͏̧̀ń͠e!
Maeve's eyes bugged out as her world completely went dark.
"M-Maeve...Why would you..."
A familiar but weak voice tickled her ears before her vision readjusted. The blur of a womanly figure began to show itself before her hazy mind. Though as her vision began to clear a pungent odor would fill her nose. She nearly gagged, but realized soon that all she could smell was the thick and heavy scent of blood. Her hand clenched around the hilt of her blade instinctively as a result. She tried to bring it closer to herself. The urge to protect herself was overpowering but she found it was stuck on something. With a few quick pulls her sword would finally slip free, a geyser of blood following.
"W-Why..." The voice choked once more.
Maeve's vision finally returned, she was home. Home in the demon realm. She looked around eyes taking in the sight of various stone pillars and cheery trees that all lead to a grand temple... She knew this place... But something was off. The smell of blood lingered and her feeling of dread never left. She blinked as she heard a soft thud before her and looked down. Laying before her was a beautiful nine tailed kitsune with long blond hair and luxuriously fluffy tails. She was wearing an ornate, silken kimono with various designs stitched in to it's fabric. Her normally sparkling emerald eyes hung low with a dull and listless glare.
"A-Akemi!" Maeve shouted.
That's right...This was her shrine...
. "Akemi! Get up! Are you okay?! Akemi!" Maeve pleaded to the kitsune, not noticing the pool of red blood forming in the front of her kimono. "Akemi please! What's wrong?!" She cried, tears bubbling in her eyes at the sight of her wounded mentor.
"Y-You...Lost..." The kitsune choked through blood and spittle as she brought a shaky hand to the dragoness' cheek. Maeve looked down to where she was pointing, only to stop and stare. Her blood ran cold. The tattoos she had been given to suppress her demonic urges were gone.
She then looked to the blade at her side only to sob, the blade was covered in blood. Akemi's blood. "A-Akemi... I-I'm sorry... I didn't mean... I couldn't control it!" She wept, tears streaming down her cheeks as she looked back to the kitsune. "Oh... You're already gone..."
"Is this really what y'all wanted?"
Maeve looked up, the human boy with dark eyes. a brass pot on his head, and a wooden sword at his side approached the girl. He had a deep frown on his boyish face and seemed to tremble with emotion. "Yer pa's dead Miss Maeve. Ya struck him down in a frenzy. Y'all are the head of yer clan or whatsit now. Was it really worth it?" The boy asked glaring to the girl, Rage and disgust filled his face as he continued to tremble.
"S-Scampi? What?! Father's...Dead? I didn't wan-" Maeve tried to argue, but her words were weak. She couldn't speak... The weight on her chest choked her words before they could form. She looked away, amber eyes welling up once more.
"Yer nothin' but a monster! A beastie! Y'all just wanted power fer yerself!" Scampi shouted to the girl in a furious tone. "As a hero...It's my duty to stop monster's like y'all! Y'hear?!" He snarled as he drew his wooden blade and got into his fighting stance.
"I don't want..." Maeve continued, her voice trembling as she drew her blade. She tried to fight it, she did everything in her power to put her sword down...But she couldn't. With her body moving of it's own accord she would step forward and tear the boy asunder with one mighty chaotic rebellion star. "SCAMPI!!!" She yelled out as each of the five strikes struck true and tore into the practically defenseless hero.
"I'm...Sorry...Ma..." He let out one final gurgle before collapsing in a heap before her.
"!!!"
"I-I don't...I don't want this..."
"M-Make..."
"Make it STOPPP!!!"
Maeve screamed out at the bus stop. Her body began to erupt in an aura of black and red ki. Sparks of electricity ripped around her. In a furious roar the dragoness would gather her ki, sparks from her aura breaking off her form and slamming into the nearby lights and neon signs causing them to erupt in a spray of sparks and electricity. Rage and sorrow filled her heart as she summoned all of her strength in a powerful aura around her.

Drake was absolutely bewildered. First this town with the chanting nightmare person, and now a Majin. He watched as the pink creature seemed to go through a series of horrors left to his imagination. What could be so bad? It must have been terrible indeed for the Majin to fall and foam at the mouth. He shrugged turning to the source. "Oh, my deepest apologies. It seems you got a little caught up in my little, experiment. No harm intended," the creature said. He dipped his head a bit. "Don't worry, nothing happened," he confirmed looking down at the town in chaos. "MAKE IT STOPP!!" another voice screamed as he turned to the newcomer.

Maeve’s screeching reached Sala’s ears, her body twitching on the floor in a puddle of her own drool and tears. Her eyes snapped open, teeth gritted as she slowly began to register her surroundings. Everything still looked strange, unnatural, and frightening. Slowly, the witch began to realize that something not quite right was happening in the town.
Sala sat up and stared at Drake, watching him slowly turn into a creature sprung from her inner fears - a pale creature with long horns, flowing white hair, sharp, red nails, and three red eyes. Thinking about the brief moment of peace while she was unconscious, finally Sala let out a hefty sigh and said, “Alright, fine, I get it… this is some kind of magic.”
Brushing off her knees, she stood up and wiped the tears and drool from her face on the back of her hand. Her body bristled with anger, fists clenching tight and steam slowly erupting from her body. “Yeah, okay… then I guess if I left the town, I’d probably be free of whatever’s going on…
“But after what I just saw... I’m not going to just go away and forget it…!” Sala snarled. Her body quivering with rage and anguish, she placed her left hand on her face and looked to the sky. “I’m going to disembowel whoever did this to me!”
Her head snapped to Drake’s direction, two red eyes meeting the illusion's three in the darkness. Her nose twitched at "her", “…You still smell human. Must be an illusion.” Her head turned 270 degrees in the opposite direction until it appeared her pink, gummy neck had snapped. She looked in Lunar’s direction and though she hadn’t quite gotten the hang of sensing people yet, she knew well the scent of a demon from her time in their realm.
“So I guess it’s you, then,” she growls, her face grinning despite enraged eyes. Turning her body around with her head remaining stationary, she raises an arm and points at the creature, her other hand charging a basic, pink energy blast. “Explain yourself immediately,” she demands, “and perhaps I’ll reconsider turning you into chocolate and eating you. And, to be honest, I’d appreciate not having to; you look really unappetizing."

This night was turning out even better than Lunar had ever expected. With that loud scream, his eyes were diverted to the draconic demon, screaming at a lamp post. Clearly she was under Lunar's nightmare as well, just as the majin pointing at him with a ki beam was, judging by her actions. This was all wrong. Lunar had only intended to bring in the townsfolk, not get these exceptional individuals involved. He really needed to be more careful with his illusions. Still, it was a pleasure to see them.
With a wide grin on his face, he lept out of the shadows, revealing his lanky, yet strangely handsome form. He fell from the bell tower, landing on the stone pavement not that far from Sala. Standing tall, Lunar let out a gleeful chuckle.
"I had come expecting to bring a nightmare, but instead I find myself in a dream." He waved his hand, dispelling the illusion around the demon woman. After all, how could she pay attention if she was gripped in her fears. "Such exceptional people here tonight!" he gestured up at Drake, "A man with a sharp mind to see through the lies," his eyes fell on Sala, "A majin beauty with an essence of those beyond," his eyes then shifted to Maeve, "And a lovely demon swordsman. Such wonderful surprises to find here in this town."
He gave a gleeful laugh before giving the three a formal bow. "But you must forgive me. I am Doctor Lunar Mensis, a scientist if you will. I'm afraid you all have been caught up in my little experiment. So terribly sorry. Had I had known, I would have been a bit more careful." he gave a small shrug, "But, no harm done. So, why don't we put this little mess behind us and become friends?"
His smile brightened when an idea came to him. "And I know just the thing to celebrate our new friendship. How about a game? The rules are very quite simple." Suddenly, darkness seemed to engulf the vision of the three, all but very briefly. When their sight returned, there was no trace of Lunar. Heck, one couldn't even sense where he went. Then a voice seemed to chuckle inside their minds.
"All you have to do, is find me. Catch me, and you get a prize! Though I should warn you, the townsfolk are still under the effects of the nightmare. Do be careful. I wouldn't want them to hurt you while we play. But that shouldn't be a problem for such magnificent individuals.
Now then, let the game begin!"[/i]

As the visions faded Maeve fell to her knees. The nightmare she endured was over but tears still welled up in her eyes and her aura still flared. Was she really so weak that an obvious illusion could affect her? Did she lack will? or was she still scared from being separated from her home? She shook her head, tears falling away from her face and to the concrete below. She looked up with dry eyes as she slowly took a stand. Her amber eyes narrowed as she glared to the demon responsible for the nightmares.
She sprint towards Lunar as he began his introduction. The dragoness held Fateburn at her side as she approached. She kept a hard frown on her face as she listened to him drone on about how he was planning to do 'experiments' on the innocent people living in the town, she could only bare her sharpened teeth in disgust. This demon was just like the rest! Taking advantage of those weaker than him! She wouldn't have it!
"I have no time for your games! Release your grip on the citizens you madman!" She snapped pointing her sword towards the demon 'professor' as he proposed 'being friends' or 'playing a game.' If the people were suffering the sort of visions she suffered from then she would have to act fast. Facing such nightmares might break the minds of lesser mortals...She almost lost herself to them as well... Before she could react however she lost her vision due to the blinding darkness he flooded their eyes with. "What?!" She growled as she tried to slash at where he was only moments ago, she ended up cutting solely the air however.
"Damn! Face me without your illusions you mystical coward!" Maeve snapped as soon as he finished explaining the 'rules' to them. His intent was most likely to get her and the others to run into and eventually protect themselves from the maddened civilians and potentially wound or kill some in the process. She wasn't going to play into his hands though! She was going to beat him and his game.
"I don't know who you two are but we have to stop him! We can't just leave someone like that to their own devices! If we all split up we could cover more ground." She said trying to rally the strangers that he inducted into his little 'game.'

Sala scoffed, placing her hands on her hips and stomping a foot on the ground as the demon left the scene with a laugh. She let out a small growl and balled her fists before shrugging her shoulders with a dejected sigh. “So it’s a game, huh? Well, at least I know I’m in it now.” Her eyes look about the area for any sign of where the demon may have gone. A smile appeared on her face; for some reason, she began to warm to the concept of using humans as pawns in a deadly game, “You’d better watch out, I raised two brothers, I’m a hide-and-seek champion.”
Noticing Maeve and her apparent anger, Sala surmised that the draconic woman was likely stronger than her. She deemed it wisest to stick as close to her as possible, but the woman seemed to want to split up. Had she never seen a horror movie in her life? Splitting up is the worst thing they could possibly do! “Hey, wait,” she said, holding her hands up, palms facing Maeve, “it’s true we’d cover more ground, but I feel that we’re safer in numbers, especially in a situation like this where we can’t tell illusion from reality. Not to mention the townspeople are all out of their minds, too.
“Besides,” she continued, “the next time we engage him, one of us has to stop him from fleeing again.” She takes a look at the woman’s sword and adds, “I’m pretty useful to have around as well. I can move things with my mind and I can conjure items and weapons. You could even say I’m invaluable.” She hoped she’d made her point and that the dragon-woman hadn’t noticed the shivering in her body and beads of sweat on her pink face that revealed her cowardice. “So, please, please take me with you.”

Lunar let out a laugh as he strolled down the street. He had run a bit to put some distance between himself and his competitors, but now he had slowed down to a brisk walk. Besides, he could sense that they hadn't really moved from their location.
Ok, no more ki sense. It's a bit unfair, since they can't sense me.
But now, he had a little task ahead of him. He promised his new 'friends' a prize of they caught him. He didn't want to disappoint. His eyes fell on a confectionary store nearby. What was a better prize than something sweet? As he made his way over, a frightened townsfolk lept from seemingly nowhere, swinging a shovel at the red head. "Die monster!" he shrieked out as he swung. Lunar quickly moved to the side and in one fluid movement delivered a kick to the man's side, sending him sprawling. The man fell to the ground, quickly scrambling away in fear. Lunar paid no further mind to him. He figured he wouldn't try it again.
Stepping inside the dark store, he caught sight of the shop owner, a young woman, huddled up in the corner in fear, her wide eyes locked onto him as she held a broom in her trembling hands. He paid her little mind, figuring she wouldn't come for him if he didn't go after her. He looked around the various displays, his eyes spotting a heart shaped box of exported chocolates. Those would do nicely. Taking the box, he tucked it into his coat before walking out with a small whistle.
Stepping out into the darkened streets, he casually waved his hand, sending out two illusory doubles of himself running in opposite directions. No sense in making this game easy for them.

Maeve's sharpened golden eyes cut to the Majin as she made her protests. She had never, in fact, seen a horror movie in her life (or really any movie for that matter) so splitting up seemed like a perfect idea to her. She cut her glance away from the Majin Woman briefly, her instinct was telling her to go alone but she took a moment to consider what the woman had to say. "If we stick together it'll take longer finding him... We really would be better just splitting off, the longer we wait around the more chances there could be of someone getting hurt." She said denying the request to partner up initially. She wanted to save as many people as fast as she could, it was unrealistic to expect that no one was going to get hurt due to this nightmarish frenzy put upon everyone but...She had to save as many people as possible.
The dragon swordswoman didn't leave right away though. In fact, she stood still for a few moments as she closed her eyes and began to clear her mind. She exhaled as she began to slow her breathing and the rapid breathing of her heart. Emotion faded, thoughts ceased, all that remained was the flow of the world around her. She surrendered herself to this flow and through it she gained uncanny focus and perception. As she opened her eyes the city would look new to her. Details that one would take for granted were readily seen by her. Everything was sharper and clearer, her expression was one of pure serenity despite everything.
Before leaving however she glanced back to Sala. She blinked a moment as she looked over the girl with her sharper gaze. Without really meaning to, she analyzed the girl. Her serene mind began taking note of various things about her. Things Sala was desperate to conceal.
"She's shaking..."
"...And sweating..."
"She must be scared..."
Maeve looked back to the city. "Stay close to me. Hold yourself back when dealing with the humans. Don't use any unnecessary force... They're going to be more scared of us than we are of them." She spoke in an even tone, seeming to change her mind about bringing her along. "...And have faith, we'll lift this curse." She said smiling softly before moving ahead through the street.
She kept a brisk pace to cover ground but with enhanced focus she would look and listen for any clues that may link her to her target. Her ears twitched, the sounds of panic and fear seeming more clear than she'd like but she kept her focus and continued to search for any lingering trace of the demon that may be a lead to tracking him down and ending his little game.

Sala felt disheartened when Maeve refused her plea, immediately lowering her head and turning around. “O-okay…” she muttered, her soft, squishy body quivering a bit more. The Majin tried to steel herself, preparing to face this waking nightmare of illusion and horror. Gnarled trees and twisted faces met her eyes and a red sky loomed overhead. The pink girl swallowed in her throat. I must be careful, she thought, for this night is dark and full of terrors. She slowly left the ground and conjured up a weapon - a black staff with golden ends, ready to depart…
But then Maeve noticed her and asked her to stay close and just as quickly as she’d lowered her head, she grabbed hold of Maeve’s arm and hid behind her as best she could. From her point of view, Maeve seemed to be a very frightening-looking creature with rows upon rows of teeth, beady, glowing yellow eyes, and horrific scales. She knew it wasn’t real but she felt comforted having such a fearsome-looking sword-wielding monstrosity before her. “Let’s get going!” she said, suddenly finding a wellspring of determination, “I want to smack that smug jerk in her stupid, pink face!” Evidently, Maeve wasn’t the only creature that appeared different to Sala while under the influence of the spell.
Following closely behind Maeve, hovering above the ground, Sala looked about with her head twitching and shifting as they moved, watching for anything weird or dangerous. She’d no clue how to track this demon with her own face, but she felt her chances were better with Maeve than not.

Ah, that was better. His players were finally starting to get into it. He couldn't wait! This was going to be so much fun! He knew that, if these villagers were like the one he encountered, they may have some issues with the majin and the demon ladies. But he sensed their power earlier. They could easily defend themselves. He was just hoping they didn't kill any of them. Despite popular belief, he wanted these people to survive. You couldn't be stronger if you were dead.
He continued to stroll down the street, watching as the different people reacted to his nightmare. Some were running and screaming, some huddled in corners, some fighting eachother, and some even attacking random objects. How funny how some people's minds react when frightened. Meanwhile, his illusory counterparts were running around the city. Who knows, maybe his 'friends' would find them first. Or maybe they'd avoid them and find HIM. He didn't know, and that's what made this game so damn exciting!
