"And with that, your lungs should be fully functional, and the rest of you should be in good time with a little rest and relaxation. Quite the accident you had there, torn ligaments in your legs, several broken ribs, one even puncturing a lung, mild damage to the windpipe, slight damage around the eyes, you were lucky there, a few glass shards could have put your eyes out for good, and on top of that, lacerations around the body. Despite that, you weren't in critical condition, and we were able to patch yourself up quite nicely." "Hmm, my lungs work fine? Mind if I test them a bit?" *ahem*...
"SASHA, WHY ARE YOU gaaack" "Sir, the other patients are sleeping, and such behavior is not..." Benetto massaged his throat, looking at his sister across the room, who was visibly startled by the sudden change in volume, as were the other two in the room, Gleciar, who was also in a visitor's chair, and Articho, who was in the other bed in the room. "What's the matter, big bro, aren't you..." "Sasha, you know exactly what's the matter. I'm nearly halfway around the world from your home, you just set out into a big, dangerous city with no idea where I'd be, and I know for a fact that you did this without permission, as I can't imagine father sending one of you out to find me in a million years. Did Julian put you up to this?" "I did it by myself big bro!"
*sigh* "We'll finish this talk back at my place, I guess you're staying with me for a bit while I figure out what I'm going to do with you." Benetto turned to Gleciar as Sasha began pouting. "Hey, Gleciar, you wanted to know about me, about the man behind the glasses? Well, here I am, my name's Benetto Giri, and I'm sad to say that I'm a tad less interesting than my persona would have you believe. I'm just a regular DJ at a local night club, I just want to do something right in the world, so I sometimes go out and fight crime. The girl here is my sister, who for whatever reason decided to go hunting me down with my location narrowed down to roughly a 50-mile radius. How she managed to find me at all I may never know. All I now is that the tournament just showed me that there are plenty of far more powerful people out there, so I'll have to work extra hard to be able to protect what's important. That said, it's time for my question now. Why do you fight? I want to know, because while you seem like a nice guy, we didn't exactly meet in the most morally sound of places."

"First off, i was stopping a mugging done in the area, and a piece of paper with the info for this tournament fell out of the pocket of one of the guys." Then he frowned as he continued. "And you sure go straight for the hard questions, huh?" He sighed relaxing a bit. "Its hard to explain... but lets simply say that i saw people i cared about slaughter a planet when i was a kid... I couldnt stand it so i ran to Namek and well, ive lived as one of them for most of my 146 years alive... And i just got to Earth a few months ago hoping to be able to make a diference, but then i find out that this place is as full of heroes as it is of villains, most of them stronger than me..." He suddenly smirked. "That is unless i transform... But still, there is not much i can do... Oh, also cause fighting is fun."
Gleciar stretched and put his feet on the table that was besides his chair. "So, Benny... You and your sister seem to be having trouble, i wont ask what that is about... But i do wanna know what are you two gonna do now... And let your sister answer, she seems old enough to do it herself." He said as he smiled to the siblings.

Articho slept peacefully in his hospital bed. His head rested on his right bicep and a small trail of drool dribbled from his mouth. He had been feeling pretty good within the first few days of him coming to the hospital, save some minor bruising on his chest and stomach. He snorted a bit in his sleep and rolled over before being rudely awakened by a loud shout in the room. The hybrid opened his eyes blearily and rolled back over. "What's with all this ruckus?" he asked groggily. "Can't a guy get some sleep?" He sat up, rubbing his eyes as he did. He blinked to clear his eyes and looked around. Some familiar faces stood around him, which was somewhat good at least.
"Pleasure to meet you, Benetto" Articho said, yawning and not really caring that it was directed towards Gleciar. He kicked his feet off of the bed and stood up. The hybrid stretched a little bit before falling forward, catching himself with his hands. He began to do push ups, having missed a few days of training in the hospital. The nurse began to quickly walk over to him, most likely to scold him for exercising while injured. "Don't worry about me, Miss," he said politely. "I'll stop if my ribs start to hurt." The nurse hesitated, then nodded and backed up. The hybrid smiled at her, then looked at the others in the room and watched their conversation. He didn't say anything, just studying them for the time being and waiting for when they spoke to him.

"Well, umm, Gleciar, right? I don't have much of a plan right now... I didn't really plan past finding Bento Box over there." Sasha grinned cheekily at her brother, but when his facial expression didn't change, she flushed slightly and looked down, the true scope of just how much trouble she was most likely in sinking in finally. Then she looked up, having spotted something in her brother's statement that she could exploit. "And I didn't do it without any permission, I just didn't get father's permission!" She brushed her bangs out of her face and asked. "Anyway, what's this Acceleration or whatever that I've heard about? And why were you in a warehouse fighting in what was clearly an illegal tournament? You could have been killed!" She gave her brother a pointed look and waited for an answer.

"I...but...you...you're right, it was stupid. You're stupid, I'm stupid, we're both stupid, and everything will get dealt with. *sigh* Let's see...Accelerando, the warrior of peace and justice. He's...kinda a hobby of mine. You see, as I said earlier, I fight crime. Yeah, it's dangerous, but somebody has to do it. Otherwise, criminals would run rampant, and people would get hurt. I really don't want that. So, let's start fresh. You're halfway across the world from home, I'm in the hospital, and we'll deal with it later." Benetto climbed out of the bed, looked at Articho, and did a small experimental workout himself. By this point, the nurse had already walked out of the room, feeling out of place in the conversation. "Huh, that's not half bad! I guess this is what that Zenkai thing you Saiyans get, huh? I feel...kinda like back in our fight, actually, but without the feeling that it's constantly about to slip. This is actually pretty nice. Articho, Gleciar, what do you have planned for the future? It looks like just hanging around you guys might get me the power I need to protect others."

"Im really not sure... I mean... I mostly train and lately i've been trying to ge in the turtle school, i have all the requirements, except for finding Ninjin to train me..." He sat there thinking for a moment. "I've been thinking of going back to Arcose, since i have a few stuff to deal with there... But i dont know... I've also tried to protect this planet, but it seems like all the positions for that are ocupied... Though from what ive heard it isnt quite as simple in deep space, there are pirates, conquerors, factions at war... And id love to help with that, but i cant do that alone and Im too weak anyway... Also... I dont have a ship and those things arent cheap..."

Articho stopped his push up and looked over at Bennetto, his eyebrow raised. He thought that fight merited the zenkai? That was nothing. They were just tired, not about to die. "The zenkai only works if you experience wounds that bring you close to death," he explained. "That was not a near death fight. I've never even been in a near death fight. You've simply just gotten stronger from exercise and using your muscles and you feel better because you been injured in a hospital for a few days." The hybrid began to do push ups again, pushing past the discomfort his ribs were beginning to give him.
Articho thought about Bennetto's question a bit. He really didn't have a plan for the future, just the end goal. "Well, I was going to train with Master Ninjin, much like Gleciar is, but that's about it. I just want to get strong enough to defeat my father." Articho's expression hardened and his push ups became quicker. Any mention of his father got his blood heated.

"Space, huh?" The voice of Jarvis echoed in Benetto's mind: "That's the price one pays for continuing battle. Try growing up on a few planets I've seen and you'd understand that better." "Hey, when you come to Arcose, why not bring us along? You said yourself it would be dangerous out there, why not bring a few people you can trust? This world's getting way too dangerous, and we need to keep up with it. We'll get stronger, shine a light of hope into the inky blackness of space, and return as true protectors of peace and justice! Or something like that, anyways." (Whatever happens, I need to prove that blue-furred freak wrong about people. I'll go out there, experience the worst of it, and come back just as much of a hero as I left. I need to prove it, or else there is no hope for the future. The three of us, champions of justice! I rather like the sound of that.)
"Point is, we need more power, and what better way to do it than to go find those pirates, conquerers, and factions at war, and put a stop to them. Let's make everywhere a better place to live, and get stronger in the process!"

"Yeah, sure. If you guys wanna come along it'll be cool, but probably dangerous too. And dude... That was the cheessiest thing ive ever heard..." He stopped talking for a momment so his words can sink in. "But i love it!" He grinned at Benetto for a moment before getting serious again. "But if we want to do this... We are going to need a ship... a Gravity Chamber would be usefull... And Revenation Tanks for any emergensy." He scratched his chin for a moment then spoke again. "All that is going to be really expensive, but we can start bit by bit. First thing is the ship... Though... There is another tournament around here soon, the price is a ship with a gravity chamber. It could save us a lot of time..." Both me and Arti are entering it, he is going to go for the Under 20k Bracket and im going for the Under 50k one." If we both win we'll get a sword, a set of heavy weights, the ship and the gravity chamber."

Articho snorted at Benetto's little speech. Gleciar was completely right. The whole truth and justice spiel was an overdone cliche with enough cheese that a wine conissieur would be happy, but the man wasn't wrong. The universe and Earth were dangerous places given the commonality of ki sensitive warriors. Beings with evil intentions were cropping up fairly often and, other than the Blue Banner Army, innocent people were left to be attacked by these individuals. So while the hybrid did think what Benetto was saying as very cheesy, he still agreed with him.
He did a double take when Gleciar started talking about going into space. That was a tall order and, given their current level of strength, they wouldn't fair well against a strong opponent. "Hold on a minute," Articho said, standing up from his push up position. His ribs' aching slowly faded away for the next few moments. "Let's not be hasty and immediately zoom off into the unknown. There's some things we need to take care of on Earth first. Benetto, can you fly? Or sense ki energy and hide your own energy signature?" The young hybrid crossed his arms and kept a questioning gaze towards the human man, his tail swishing lightly back and forth before you took a glance towards Benneto's sister, Sasha. She hadn't said much since the beginning of their conversation. "What about you, toots? What's your opinion on this? he asked, deciding the test the waters of her thoughts. Her input could help lead them in the right direction. "And if you are coming along, what's your skill set? There's got to be more than just the pretty face." The hybrid punctuated his sentence with a sly smirk and a wink at Sasha.

Sasha raised an eyebrow at Articho. "I am coming along, whether Benetto likes it or not." she said, brushing her hair out of her face. "As for my skillset, I can ki sense and hide my own signature. Other than that, I don't have much to offer with ki, but I do have some training in hand-to-hand fighting." She thought for a few seconds, her ears tilted at a tentative angle, revealing how nervous she was. "Also, if we're going to be a group, I think we should probably have a name. Given Master Cheese's little spiel, how about we take the cheese to the next level and make it our own with a cheesily awesome name. Something like..." she paused and thought for a minute, her right index finger pressed to her bottom lip. "How about "Collective of Secret Majestic Organized Superheroes", or COSMOS for short. It's a little redundant and cheesy, but since it'll usually be called by its initials it should be fine." She folded her arms and waited nervously for the response.

"Hey, hey! It's not cheesy, it's heroic! As for the ki stuff...uhh...okay, I did read that section...I just...you know...never really got that that well. But hey, if it's a breaking point, I have an idea to help with that! I know a few people who helped design my last pair of sunglasses that should help with one of those problems. As for the rest, well I've been trying! I should be able to help with some funds for that ship if need be. You know, speaking of which, Gleciar, weren't you there when we finished the tournament? Me and Articho were unconscious, but you must have been able to pick up the prize for us. Maybe we could use that for the ship? Also, I think you're forgetting a few things like rations and other smaller details, but that should be easy to gather."
Benetto began to move off of the bed, and did a few light stretches, followed by some mild exercise.
"Haha! That tournament did me wonders! Maybe I'll give ki another try soon, I felt something weird when I got all angry, maybe I can get that again. As for COSMOS...Ha, I love it! It's heroic and symbolic of the great and powerful deeds we can do! The amount of things we can do for the galaxy, throughout the COSMOS, I love it! As for being in the team...uggggh, look, we'll talk. As much as I hate contacting the family again, it doesn't seem right to not let them know. I'll do what I can to help with this spaceship. (Whatever happens, I need to prove that blue-furred freak wrong. Justice, morals, goodness can exist in the worst of places, and I'll prove it! As for Sasha proving it too...I like the idea of her taking the altruistic path, but I worry for her. Looks like I'll have a visit with Wess in my near future. At least I'll get to see how everybody else has been doing. Despite myself, I am curious.)

"No, it was absolutelly cheessy. But if you want i could help you with the Ki thing. It would be really usefull if you could fly. I dont want to carry you or buy a jetpack." He knew Benetto had potential, but it didnt matter if he didnt know how to use it. He shifted the weight in the chair and them started balancing on the back legs.
"I like that name, Miss Giri. Now... I want to make sure we are clear on one thing..." He glared at all of them as he spoke slowly and darkly. "Im the leader and i wanna name the ship Star Miracle!" He stuck his tongue at all of them and chuckled for a bit. He jumped off his chair and landed on his feet. "Any other details we wanna talk about?" He wasnt really serious about the whole leader thing, but it was his "mission" and he wanted to do it his way... Though he really wanted that name for the ship he would also accept "Stardust Miracle", but for now he was gonna give them option one.

Articho nodded in agreement with Gleciar. Sasha was currently more useful skill wise, but her strength was lacking. He could sense more, untapped potential in her and Bennetto, but without it they weren't very powerful. "Jetpacks can easily be broken and carrying you guys is not combat viable. As soon as we're all out of here, which will be later today," he said firmly as he pointed to both Benetto and Sasha, "We're going to train and we're doing it my way." The hybrid flashed a grin with a mischevious glint in his eyes. Time to bring back the stone weights, but this time it wouldn't be on his back.
Articho rolled his eyes at Gleciar. He didn't mind the Arcosian being leader of "COSMOS," but Star Miracle? That sounded dumb in his opinion. It wasn't very intimidating, which they would need with a name like COSMOS. He had the feeling that their opponents would sooner laugh at how goofy they were before fighting them. "Yeah," the half Saiyan interjected. "Can the ship not be named as if it was a pop band? We need to bring hope to troubled people and strike fear into the hearts of our enemies. I can't see 'Star Miracle' doing that."

Sasha had to giggle a little at her brother trying to defend his idea as not being cheesy when it totally was, but as soon as the phrase "We'll talk" left his lips her expression darkened. "I thought I'd made myself clear already," she said, folding her arms. "I'm coming along, whether you like it or not. I am eighteen, big brother, you can't tell me what to do anymore." She grinned a little. "All you can do is advise me, and I reserve the right not to listen, like I am right now." She had to roll her eyes a little at her brother's reaction to her name suggestion, but secretly felt pleased that he liked it.
As soon as Gleciar mentioned flight, however, Sasha flinched a little, though she tried to hide it. She'd been avoiding flight for as long as she possibly could, and even though her grandfather had told her she would have to learn how to someday, she just couldn't bring herself to try. She was dreading learning it, but perhaps with the other three around it'd be less scary than it had been previously? She mentally shook her head, knowing that it wouldn't be. She also didn't like the look on Articho's face when he said they'd be training his way, and it only compounded the feeling of being overwhelmed that she had been putting off most of the day. All she really wanted to do at that moment was hide somewhere, curl up in a ball and bury herself in a book, though she knew that probably wasn't going to happen in the near future. The only thing that kept her from pulling out her book now was the fact that she was somewhat involved in the conversation, and she knew Benetto would probably tell her to put it away immediately. She pulled her legs up under her and kept her arms folded, the closest thing she could get to what she actually wanted to do at that moment, and steeled herself for more conversation.
