(Heavy Weights On)
As the clouds above the Timeless lookout passed, the hulking form of Walker strode across it's pale white surface. He had told Kami that he would be back the next day to train, but the recent events involving Reikiko had necessitated a hiatus. He had only recalled how long it had been after the gathering on the partially built isle earlier. Cracking his neck, he sat down near the flowerbeds to wait. As he sat, something caught his eye. Not far off, in a small patch of earth, was the apple tree he had grown to partial maturity. It sat, leaves toward the sun, much as he did. Standing up, he crossed the tiled floor towards it, his three toed feet clicking as he walked. Reaching it, he paused for a moment, flexing his hands. It had been only a few weeks since he was here, since he saw Reikiko at Full Power Semi-Perfect. Perfect was supposed to be even greater than that, and he was barely twice the new, lesser Rei's power.
He had grown this tree, not to calm her down, but simply to help. It hadn't gotten rid of the small, worming feeling of jealousy, though. However, now was a poor time to whine about his own weakness. He had far to go yet, and hopefully, today's training would help with that. Perhaps Kami would even be able to help him get rid of the urges as well. It would do no good if he kept feeling like he did, and if anyone could help, it would be God. Leaning down, Walker carefully placed his hands on the soil, and exhaled. The energy flowed through the earth, moving up the tree's roots, and the apple tree began to grow. Shuddering at first, it suddenly began to increase in size, with small leaves, and eventually small unripe apples, appearing on it's branches. When the growth stopped, the tree was quite large indeed. The soil had dried out, so Walker went, retrieving a watering can, and began to wet it again, refilling the pot as necessary. Kami would come, and in the meantime, he would help Reikiko's tree grow.
(Sorry it's short, wanted to get this out.)
