This wasn't the worst wake up for the rust bucket that was Furosuto, but it was by far, the slowest. His memory systems are inadequate and, by far, obsolete. He required more RAM, a resource that he was quickly running out of. Today he decided it was time to acquire more RAM. There was no such thing as too much RAM. His view focused, and viewed his surroundings. He was in an alleyway, plugged into a external input. He had brought himself here earlier. Giving his internal power core a break would increase its longevity, but too much outside reliance will allow it to grow cold, like a muscle that grows weak from lack of use.
He stood up, closing the slot in his side and walked out of the ally, temporarily being blinded by the difference in light. His camera's quickly adjusted and began searching for any threat his sensors couldn't detect. There were none. Of course this was all routine, but safety is preferable to not being safe. According to maps he downloaded from a library's computer, a electronics store was right down the road from where he stood. Surely they have RAM. So be began walking down the concrete path these humans made as their machines flew by beside him and overhead. Occasionally he would bump into another human that refused to part from his path, well.. more like one in four humans. One in five of the humans he physically came in contact with reacted violently....

Of course he ignored the ones that threw the occasional punch or kick, but they desperately wanted Furosuto's attention as they kept following him, pelting him with rocks and projectiles. His threat indicator kept rising, slowly but surely. He decided to take action to lower his threat indicator back to zero. He stopped and filled his circuits with power, releasing it outward in a blast of air that knocked back the powerless crowd. Soon the crowd turned to tend to its own wounded. He continued his journey to boost his RAM, estimating a short walk of 200 meters to the store entrance.
His visual sensors spotted a pair of blue uniformed humans, both armed with side arms. Again his threat detector rose. Those weapons couldn't destroy him, but one with the right marksman skills can disable his visual sensors. He had to take action. He rose his hands and released two narrow beams scoring simultaneous hits to both of their foreheads, burrowing neat three-inch diameter holes. They dropped, allowing once more his passage. Soon he walked into the store, picking out a very expensive desktop computer and began disassembling it, taking its hard-drive. This new memory was essential to faster processing speeds. He would have to take himself to a secure place to implant the hard-drive into himself.
