Currently as many as you may know, Koramund is stuck in Hell. He has gained a physical body, and I desire to teach him a technique, the Bunkai Teleport, because I feel it will add some more crazy insanity to his character. However, the issue is that we do not have rules for it so far, so I would like to discuss the rules for Instant Transmission-like moves.
Specifically for Bunkai Teleport - A daemonic version of the Instant Transmission where the user breaks up into cubes, vanishes, and reappears somewhere else. If hit at the exit portal, the person exits from their starting point, flung from the impact. This works vice versa, but the attack is strengthened by 33% if it manages to hit the teleporter like this.
For all transportation like moves, I would like to suggest we can not escape a DE unless its before the first round of combat, (So you can escape just before the fighting starts, but other wise your stuck in there). Teleport moves can only send you to locations you have been to before, or to a person's ki signature. Also, all teleport moves CAN be used in a combo, like Instant Kamehameha (User charges the attack, vanishes half-way through it, charges more in the pocket dimension, and then finally reappears behind the foe to unleash the attack) but requires Ki sensing to know what they are targeting, or else they may appear with the foe at THEIR back!
I believe it would be balanced because its like the after-image, but to a location, and out of DEs it can be used to travel to difference planets, where it is simply faster then space ships, but you still needed one to get there in the first place.
Specifics for Instant Transmission - The user concentrates their ki and mind to engulf themselves and drop them into a pocket dimension, and then reappear. If the user has minor psychic powers (1 or 2 techs) they must put two fingers to their head to concentrate enough to transport. (3-4 psychic techs) Higher psychic power allows the user to simply concentrate hard enough without the use of their fingers on their forehead. Ultimate Psychic power (5+) allows for the move to be upgraded to the Instantaneous Movement, which can teleport them anywhere (Since they needed to lock onto a signature or been to the location first, I believe it is somewhat fair)
What are you opinions on the balancing of these techs?
