It had been a day since Reikiko had found herself in her new state. It was an unusual feeling to be honest, and not entirely unpleasant. She had been seated on the stairs leading into the temple of the timeless lookout, her eyes closed and her hands folded up in her lap, almost in a state akin to meditation. She still thought back about what had happened yesterday, of the conversation she had with Scargot. Her plan was flawed, her idea for making a perfect world for Scargot and Tamako was a childish dream, a fooling ambition that would never become realized. Nevertheless, it also made her think about other things. The ascension to perfection had come at the cost of a dangerous influence, one that could possibly threaten anyone, even the most noble of souls. Power was a dangerous element that could corrupt even the purest person in the world. It made Reikiko think back about the Super Saiyan Athren. He had been a friend of Scargot, a confidant and trusted companion and yet his rise in power had caused him to change. Was it obsession with being the strongest? Or perhaps it was the feeling of power, that sensation that made him feel like a god among mortals that had slowly corrupted the mind of what might had once been a just and kind man.
"If this is the influence a Supah Saiyajin has to endure, then I need to be careful."
She had felt it first-hand, the dreadful corruption that power could have on one's mind. It blinded her to what truly mattered, and it changed her for the worse. It reminded her of that one saying: With great power comes great responsibility. The bio-android sighed gently, slowly opening her eyes while looking up at the sky above her. How many people would follow in her footsteps? How many would fall under the influence of those powerful temptations, and need to be put in their place? Was this what she was going to become? An enforcer who would ensure that the world wouldn't be destroyed by the very people that lived upon it? It sounded odd, for her who was made for evil to have obtained such a way of thinking. Nevertheless, it must had been the influence of the Namekian the world knew as 'Kami' that had led to this. Gently she pushed her body upwards, rising onto her full length and while her tail gently swished back and forth the bio-android approached the ledge of the lookout.
"Otou-san spoke about the existence of the dragon balls. This means they are not a myth, but a fact. Somewhere on this planet there are several spheres, and upon gathering those 'dragon balls' one is able to get their wish granted."
It was a dangerous power to have, and one she longed for. In the end it would allow her to correct that one mistake she made, and yet she also realized that the dragon balls could become quite dangerous depending on who used them. The bio-android was halfway toward the edge of the timeless lookout when she couldn't help but wonder about a question that had been haunt her mind.
"What would you do with those Dragon Balls Vivi?"
Vipoi, the android that was leading the Blue Banner Army. He had already revealed to her his desire to gather the dragon balls, under the promise that he would do only good things with them, but she was curious about the android's ambitions with them. Would he wish for a stabilized world? Or perhaps for the power to protect this planet. If she had ever gathered those dragon balls she would have merely wished for Tamako's revival, to ensure her master would finally be alive once more. However, perhaps she possessed the power to ensure those dragon balls wouldn't be wrongly used?
"Perhaps it's good that I am at your side Otou-san. If you are the benevolent father who wants to see only the good things in his children, in the people he has sworn to protect. Then let me be the world's 'Onee-sama'. I shall be that person they all strive to surpass, the elder sister who will ensure that they don't destroy the house we call 'earth'."
She chuckled softly, and for a moment she couldn't help but imagine earth and its population as a figurative giant family. It did make sense in some childish way. If Scargot was the kind father who watched over the world, trying to make everyone follow a righteous path and show each other kindness and understanding, then she was the stern elder sister. She had the power to surpass all others currently, even Vipoi and for a moment she couldn't help but find her lips curve up into a little smile.
"Hopefully this doesn't become a reality, else Hikari would be my imouto, and that type of 'relationship' with her would be taboo."
Actually all things considered, what in the world would Scargot say or do if he learned about Hikari? Would he be happy that Reikiko was experiencing emotions akin to a human? It actually reminded her that she wanted to ask his counsel upon certain matters involving Hikari. Or would he drastically refuse the relationship they had, for the reasons that first and foremost: she was a member of the Blue Banner Army, and second... she was a woman. How would Scargot respond to the last bit? It already amused her greatly to think of how the Namekian would react if he learned that she fancied women above men. But in the end it seemed those thoughts would have to wait, for as she arrived at the edge of the lookout she noticed something 'peculiar. A house of sorts had been near the base of the tower, one she had not seen before, or perhaps didn't bother to notice until now.
"Otou-san never told me we had neighbors... Guess I'll pay them a visit."
With a light hop the bio-android ascended into the air, before slowly descending through the blanket of clouds, rapidly making her way toward the surface, more than confident that her energy would alert anyone who had possibly been there.
"Hopefully someone is home..."
