It didn't take long for the bio-android to grow aware of the approaching presence of two individuals. The first one she could easily identify as Scargot, in the end there was no way she would mistake that presence for anyone else. Yet, the other presence felt oddly similar to her own. Surely it was weaker, but she felt a curious sensation within her at it. A calm voice came from the doorway and upon turning her gaze into the direction the sound came from, Reikiko was just in time to notice the unusual humanoid-like being made a formal bow. She had to admit it was pleasant to have someone show her proper manners, and after that commercial she was undeniably in a good mood. Her laughter finally subdued after their arrival her hands briefly pressed onto the carpet before the television and with a push of her arms gently lifted herself upwards, a nimble spin allowing her to face the duo, while her tail gently coiled around her waist. Walker, a pleasant name that could have a rather fascinating meaning, and the fact he showed such polite manners, knowing when to respect someone... had made her get a fairly positive impression of him, for the time being.
"Hmm, Walker is it?"
She paused for a moment, her eyes slowly wandering over the features of the humanoid that seemed to have an unusual theme to him. He seemed slightly human, and yet his body seemed more akin to a tree in her eyes. Even more interesting was the unusual arm he possessed, and instincts told her to remain wary about that specific area. So Scargot had told him about her. That meant he likely knew she was a bio-android, and depending on the conversation the words spoken might had been vastly different. Either way, after a moment of consideration she smiled calmly, a slight bending of her upper-body to lean forwards being accompanied by a playful salute.
"Nice to meet you Walker, the name is Reikiko. It's rather pleasant for me to be able to greet one of Uncle's guests who knows manners."
She smiled briefly, seemingly in partial jest before turning to look at Scargot. At his words she couldn't help but wonder at the Namekian's words. A god who was about to open a training school of sorts. Could this be a declaration of the Kami taking part into the factional struggles that were unfolding? For a brief moment a shadow of concern crosses her eyes before she turned to face the television.
"Uncle, did you know why I asked you to let me get this 'Earthling device'?"
She paused for a moment, seemingly waiting for Scargot to answer her. He'd likely assume it was merely for personal entertainment, and yet it was only part of the reason she had desired this device so much. It possessed something Scargot likely couldn't see, and after a moment she pressed a switch on the remote, causing a reportage to pop up. It showed the Blue Banners leader, the android Vipoi having recently been appointed as part of the president's cabinet. Then it continued on to a report of the Blue Banner Army repairing the damage to West Capitol, and at the same time providing shelter for the refugees.
"Information. I am not like you, in the sense that I lack the ability to read into people's minds and understand their intentions. I am neither human or alien, but a man-made being that chose her own destiny. To be able to understand the beings that inhabit this planet I learn from them through a means like this. In the end Uncle, as the Kami you surely believe that understanding one another is a better method to solve conflicts than violence... isn't that correct?"
She hummed softly, her tone soft and gentle while she turned off the television, crossing her arms beneath her chest while she approached the Namekian, her demeanor surprisingly calm and refined, almost lady-like.
"Then why have you yet to try to comprehend the reasoning behind the Blue Banner Army their actions? Certainly, their methods are flawed, they seek to create a utopia through a method that following the 'end justifies the means' approach, but their forceful actions have led to so much destruction and chaos. If only you took time to try to guide them onto a more proper method, it would spare me from having to plan my own..."
The last words were spoken in a whisper before she decided it was time to address something. A misunderstanding she needed to get cleared at all costs.
"I did not decide to aid the Blue Banner Army out of manipulation, a desire for chaos or evil. Instead I joined them because I tried to act like you. I wanted to understand what drove them, and at the same time it would have helped me get closer to my own ambitions. Nevertheless, you speak about training people. I assume you mean 'heroes'? Perhaps someone like Daiki? Let me enlighten you on the fact that he killed numerous soldiers. Soldiers who had the order to evacuate citizen from the West Capitol. He might had noble intentions, but in the end his actions weren't heroic at all."
She paused for a bit, closing her eyes and thought back about the recent event. She still remembered the screams of the refugees as she absorbed them, the conflict between herself and Ninjin that had forced the woman to flee. The act of helping Vipoi deal with the mysterious saiyan... all of the memories were fresh in her mind.
"And then the legendary warrior, the key factor of this conflict. Without a moment of hesitation he killed, and attacked the android you seem to dislike so strongly. However, keep in mind that Supah Saiyajin... Athren as his companion called him was nothing but a blood-thirsty warrior. I am not a saint either. I absorbed several refugees for the sake of obtaining enough power to threaten the strongest enemies to leave, and absorbed a person, even if he was an enemy for the sake of my ascension. But to label one murderer evil, and justifying the other's actions as 'heroic' is pretty much a case of double-standards."
Her eyes opened again before she looked Scargot straight in the eye, and for the first time the Namekian would have seen a clear sense of clarity in her eyes. She had found it, a purpose and a destiny to call her own.
"It was because of that android you still got the opportunity to talk to me, lest I would have died like the others that perished that day. And yet you still continue to antagonize him, and believe that I am scheming some grand evil. You couldn't be further from the truth, for I approve of your desire to form a school."
She turned her back at the Namekian and fellow bio-android, gently walking toward the other side of the room, seemingly intending to gesture for them to follow her back outside. She sighed for a moment before looking up at the blue sky.
"As we speak I still got to end the existence of Project Chimera, but after this Uncle... It will be a farewell."
She knew he was going to object, but the words that followed were spoken with a certain passion, one that almost would have made it seem as if the Namekian was talking to himself, for she really had adopted his ideals in a way.
"I have a request Uncle. There been rumors surrounding the creation of wish-granting spheres, said to belong to the Namekian race. I believe that is why Daiki initially desired to meet you, but I will need your help for my own ambitions if those rumors are true. I need to ascend, and for that someone shall be sacrificed. However, if any wish can be accomplished. Why not wish for the fallen to return?"
She smiled sadly, turning to face Scargot while she continued.
"Tamako-sensei loved martial arts and people who loved it. Uncle loves the world and its people, and that is why I feel a desire to improve both. Right now I'm still too weak to accomplish this but... What this world needs is something that will unite this world out of its own free will. it needs a reason to unite, and I believe that I can become that reason. If Uncle was to reach out to both those that call themselves heroes, and the leader of the Blue Banner Army... then perhaps there is hope."
She was convinced this would be an ambition for her to strive for, a final grand goal in her existence.
"Imagine for a moment, the Blue Banner Army finally becoming led onto a straight path, the heroes growing strong enough to protect this planet. All united because they have a new threat: me."
Scargot could likely already read it on her face, her intentions that while noble were also likely to become incredibly tragic.
"I will ascend to perfection and become a threat to this world. I will have everyone unite, not by force but out of a free will: the need to survive leading to that will. Train your warriors Uncle, I shall even aid them in their training should you desire so, until the time of my plan is complete. Then when the time is right this world's strongest warriors shall slay me. The Blue Banner Army and the heroes, having united and become a proper support for you to protect this world. And I who shall forever be remembered as the monster that while threatening to destroy the world... ended up uniting it."
She stepped backwards, her arms spread outwards as she smiled at the two of them.
"I call it 'Reikiko's Requiem'. it shall be my final song, a song that will unite everyone and create a utopia free of those conflicts we see today. Walker, someday you will find something of your own, a dream and ambition to strive for... Then you'd understand what it means 'to be prepared to die for something'. Nevertheless, what I said today has to remain between us Uncle, Walker. The world needs to remember that unless united, a threat will easily be able to destroy all we consider precious."
And in the end it was up to her to play the role of the villain.
"But right now I lack the power to accomplish something like this... So I will need your aid Uncle."
It seemed that for the time being she was suppressing the Saiyan gene within her, or perhaps it was dormant now that no enemy was around to rouse her desire for battle.
"And perhaps we can finally build an apple tree again before that day arrives. I heard the Saiyajin I absorbed had been responsible for destroying the lookout, what could explain why the apple tree is gone..."

Walker was initially pleased with the fact that the woman on the couch did not seem to want to murder him. However, as she spoke, that was swept away. Her words were ominous, and when she finally admitted what her plan was, it shocked even him a bit. One person, growing strong enough to threaten the entire world, and uniting it against her. It was a stunningly daring plan, and even more surprisingly, she was asking Scargot to help. From speaking with him before, the Bio-Android suspected he would not be 100% on board with this plan. However, something else was bothering him. Flashes of memory were popping forth, and he was forced to conclude one thing. Her plan wouldn't work. The people he had absorbed were fading away, but bits and pieces of knowledge still bubbled up, filling in the blank that was his memory. He had three different views of the world that were slowly merging, becoming background information, and in many cases, they were at odds. Still, all three of them looked at the world from different angles. Kiri, the ex-fighter, who had acted as a protector until she lost everything to prevent her demonic foe from achieving his plans. The punk, who had lashed out against anyone inhuman, living on the mean streets beneath the shining temples of the universe. The scientist, whose name had already vanished, was cold, calculating, and had observed the world through a haze of numbers and trends.
Raising a hand, Walker began to speak. "Ms. Reikiko... If you truly wish to do this, then I do not believe I can stop you. However, I do not believe you will succeed." Dropping his hand, his voice took on a more serious tone. "This world stands alone, in a universe with two mighty empires, perhaps even more. I was built to be used as a weapon, and from the notes, I take it I was not the first." He was speaking more fluidly now, the words coming easier as he gained confidence in his statement. "Mankind is a chaotic, ever-changing species. They have faced threats in the past, and all three of my absorptions have memories of the legends of centuries ago. There were people back then whose power would make even yours appear inconsequential, at best. Even so, this world is not united. The issues you speak of still exist."
Spreading his hands, the tone became harsh. "I know you may be able to strike me down for this, but it needs to be said. Change will always occur. Your martyrdom will not prevent the world from changing, not for long. If you believe that sacrificing yourself will bring a permanent, or even a long-lasting peace, then I'm afraid I must be rude and call you a fool." Bowing, he turned, and walked back out onto the lookout. It was harsh, but that was what he believed to be true. Just as she had her ideals, he held his. This was new, granted, but he would stick to them nonetheless.

Pleased with how Reikiko introduced herself to their guest, he let out a sigh of relief. He shook his head at Reikiko' question, he had an idea as to why she wanted it as she was bored up here now that she was stronger than him and didn't need his training. Instead of wanting a reply she simply answered her own question, she wanted information on the world below. Whilst it was true that he could read minds and could see everything that happened down below, it didn't bother him to answer any questions she would ask him about it but it was up to her.
Suddenly the mood changed and Reikiko began to question the reasons behind why he hadn't decided to do anything about the Blue Banner Army and to the he simply glared into her bright blue eyes. Her next words hit a nerve within him, he was starting to get fairly annoyed at his own daughter questioning the way he was doing things and his friends. But what shook Scargot the most was when Reikiko told him her plan of how she was going to unite the world and use the BBA to help her.
"What are you to say I haven't tried to comprehend their actions, I have been going through intense meditation every night trying to figure out the best way to fight this. Yes they took over the West Capitol, they killed a bunch of innocents and I'm sorry I wasn't here to help but you will be sure I am trying now. I thought it was safe for me to go and do my training to be able to see people off as they die and meet the great judge who determines whether they go to Heaven or Hell. I left you to protect the world Reikiko, but instead I come back to you standing by helping the enemy and absorbing one of my most trusted confidants. I don't know what Athren did but there was a better way than this Reikiko.
This world is a chaotic place, factions are being created and wars are happening all the time. We can't always take them out straight away, you must sit back and study their movements and devise a plan. You are too head strong Reikiko you don't understand the finer arts of just waiting, planning and coming out on top. Nothing good ever came out of rushing into something without a plan." Scargot took a deep breath and stablized himself.
"That blue haired man is not to be trusted Reikiko, you can't work with him. Yes he may look like he is trying to unite the world or what ever his plan is but there is a bigger picture he isn't telling you about. And your plan!" Scargot stopped and listened to what Walker had to say.
"Listen to us Reikiko, this world is going to always have conflict and in years to come after you are defeated if you do go through with this plan. You will become a myth, a legend and be as well known to the world as myself and this lookout. You think it's always been like this, the very first Kami thousands of years ago was the hero of the world and after he died and the long wait before the second Kami came along caused this place and the Kami to become a myth and once again wars and blood shed happened again. We may not be able to stop this for good but we just got to take everything one battle at a time and if you become the reason for a war and bloodshed, I will have no choice but to stop you with my own hands.. Do you understand me Reikiko! Just because you have this new body and you are going to get stronger does not mean you can attempt to fix something that has been broken since the dawn of time!"
With his outburst out of the way he was done talking to Reikiko, he followed Walker out into the open. "I'm sorry Walker, as I said our training will start tomorrow. Maybe I'll even bring a long your partners."

Test attempt Nobody tagged words: 1164 | Initially Reikiko felt a certain emotion akin to... disappointment? She sighed gently, perhaps both because Walker had called her plan foolish, but also because in the back of her mind she had assumed an idea like this might had been naive. It was understandable, in the end humanity was a chaotic race that could change within a moment's race. Certainly they were resilient, but in no way were they united or capable of maintaining their peace long enough. Nevertheless, the words that followed from Scargot shocked her, and also angered her. He left her to be in charge of the world, and indirectly blamed her for the destruction of West Capitol. To the point that he even tried to once more consider Athren a friend and confidant was enough to make her not just feel sad, but pretty annoyed at the same time.
"Protect you say... While you were busy meditating I lost one of the two people I cared about in this world. Where were you when Tamako-sensei died in my arms? There was neither comfort for my suffering or guidance on how to deal with my loss!"
She wasn't going to allow Scargot to leave after that outburst, and while they were already outside the lookout, she had swiftly raised a hand in an attempt to grab the Namekian's arm. She was simply not going to let him speak those words without saying her own piece on the matter. Especially now that some serious matters had arisen.
"Read my memories Uncle... NOW!"
She had raised her voice, nearly lifting it into a shout, and Scargot likely would have understood what she intended to do with that command. If the Namekian had decided to use his Telepathy he would have found a series of memories resurface within her mind. The first one had been taking place within the Bamboo Forest. She had been holding the lifeless corpse of her master, the cold rain clattering down onto the two of them while her cries pierced the silence. All the while the android known as Vipoi tried to comfort her.
That day I had sworn to avenge my master, and grow strong enough to become capable of protecting you from the same destiny
The memory continued onwards, seemingly toward the day before the siege onto West Capitol. Reikiko seemingly had been in her human form, singing and dancing alongside a young woman as around them crowds of men and women were cheering in excitement. At that time it was clear those men and women were genuinely happy, their spirits raised by the performance.
They are still Earthlings, following the Blue Banner Army their ideals for the sake of obtaining that what they lost: a peaceful and prospering world, with a strong force protecting it from outside threats.
Soon a third memory shown, one of Reikiko in her bio-android form causing a small slaughter as she absorbed several refugees. While on the surface it appeared she was gleefully excited, the moment one looked closer upon her one could see the shadow of grief and regret in her eyes.
'I'm sorry... I'm so sorry' I can't remember how often I repeated those words. Even if their sacrifice would ensure the world would be spared of my sister's wrath, the knowledge they would never forgive me for my sins, and the feeling of the terror-filled screams felt like daggers piercing my heart. That one moment where I devoured a woman and saw a teenager look at me as if I had just become the devil himself... It made me realize that to save countless lives, I also destroyed some, including taking away that child's most precious person... Do you think I took delight in knowing I absorbed someone's mother?
She paused briefly as the memory turned toward that of her remaining concealed amidst the buildings of the central district of West Capitol. She had seen Athren unleash his bloodlust onto several soldiers, killing them in the most brutal of ways. It had made her mind briefly skip to the end of the conflict, where after her ascension she had stood amidst the corpses. Most of them were maimed, only a few even recognizable but it was clear from Reikiko's memory that she knew every single one of them. From the kind guard who gave her some candy after her performance, to the young recruit who she had been watching some anime alongside with. They all died such a brutal deaths... The memory ended, causing Reikiko to look at him, this time allowing the tears she had been holding back to resurface.
"Please stop talking about that man as if he is your friend! Did you for a moment even stood still to realize the amount of destruction and suffering that man caused. There might be some good Saiyajin, but that man was the embodiment of a ruthless Berserker! I shall never acknowledge his loss, nor feel sorry for it! It's a good thing he is gone, for if the world was filled with only people like that, I would instantly lose any reasoning to protect or care for it!"
And then there was... She pointed with her hand toward the empty space next to them, and while to Walker it might had been a confusing gesture, Scargot likely would remember... a rather fond memory. The two of them have been working together in an attempt to plan the apple tree, but when she returned from her training with Tamako... and found the lookout in ruins, she couldn't help but also notice the scorched and torn apart tree husk that remained.
"That man even destroyed the lookout, destroyed our apple tree! Killed people without a second thought of regret, he even found it exhilarating...."
She turned her gaze aside, finally releasing her grip on the Namekian while she whispered softly.
"Call me a fool, call my dream childish and I won't argue with you on that. But do not badmouth the one who was at least there to try to save me, and help your daughter bury the person she loved when she failed to protect the world as you wanted her to... I was going to suggest that if my plan was incapable of obtaining its desired effect, we would try to work together to find the right answer..."
And by now the words were spoken that would hurt the most for the two of them.
"But maybe I was wrong. You seem to let your kindness and noble intentions blind you to the truth, to the point you seem to would have not cared if that Saiyajin killed me that day. I can't help but wonder if I am still truly your daughter, or merely a threat you're trying to suppress by keeping it close to you. Because right now you're not acting like a father, but like a stranger. So tell me Uncle... What do I even mean to you?!"
How does it feel, to be in the presence of a goddess? |

As Walker exited the lookout, Scargot, and then Rei followed after him. This rather defeated the purpose of his leaving, and the following statement about a mentor dying aroused a new feeling inside him. It wasn't a feeling, precisely, but he wasn't sure what else to call it. There seemed to be a word for it, though. As Rei grabbed Scargot and screamed about mind-reading, it came to him. Awkward, that was it. This was Tremendously Awkward. As the pair did... whatever they are doing, Walker sidled over to the bare patch of dirt that appeared to have some kind of tree's ruins in it. Peering down, he poked the dirt.
After some examination, he found a few seeds in the dirt, as well as the rotting remains of what appeared to have been apples. Wood splinters remained, and the roots of the tree still existed beneath the ground, now dead and moldering. The tree had been fully and truly killed, and nothing was bringing it back. Still, around it lay the seeds of it's fruit, and the little parcels called to Walker in a very strange way. As he cupped the seeds in his hand, it occurred to him that the scientists who made him had not predicted many of the things that happened to him. They had, however, intended for him to be able to regrow limbs. His wooden, living plant matter limbs. Perhaps...
Closing his hands, he concentrated, feeling the flecks of life energy so similar to his own. Placing his hands beneath the dirt, the ends of his arms fragmented, spiraling through the ground beneath the surface. The dead roots were ripped apart, the rotting wood gathered together in the center of the plot. The dead apples were crushed into a nutrient rich pulp, and mixed with the rotting wood. Finally, in the middle of it, the seeds were placed, just beneath the surface. With everything prepared, the Plantdroid concentrated, his roots curled around the bundle of seeds. It was like regrowing the parts of his body, he just needed to push it a little further. He wasn't quite sure how to start, though.
Closing his eyes, he reached out, feeling the seeds and soil against his skin. Pressing, he let the energy flow out, felt the familiar power of his regeneration search for wounds that did not exist as it passed through his arms. Opening his eyes, he smiled. "Hello there, little brother. I didn't know if that would work." Before him, from the ground, the stems of seedlings were twisting upward, the stalks winding together. The seeds were feeding off his energy, but the soil beneath would easily support them. The tree began to climb upward, one trunk forming from all the beginnings. Roots spread outward, and Walker ran his hands up the trunk as it grew, guiding it as a sculptor might clay. Finally, his regeneration could handle no more, and he stepped back, studying his work.
There, where previously nothing had stood, sat a young tree. It was about the size of Walker's arm, perhaps a bit smaller, and while it did not yet have apples, it was most definitely an apple tree. Dusting his hands, Walker wandered over, grabbing a watering can from near the lookout. Returning with it sloshing full, he smiled, and began to carefully water the new tree, not quite a sapling, but not quite ready for fruit either. Tired but happy, he watched the water soak into the dirt, and considered the implications of this.

Scargot felt the anger in Reikiko' voice when she demanded for him to read her memories, he didn't appreciate being told to do something but went along with it, he couldn't walk away from her whilst she was so angry. The memories played and Scargot watched in horror, Reikiko absorbing refugees and Athren killing mercilessly, what happened whilst he was away. What came over everyone? There attack that happened on West Capitol was more horrific then he could ever imagine, but what happened next. What happened next really felt like a stab to his heart.
Reikiko began to yell at him, almost cursing him out for what he didn't do. "You think he wasn't my friend, why do you think he was one of my most trusted confidants? Why do you think I told him about the dragon balls? I don't know what happened whilst I was away but I'll be in the other world dead before I turn my back on my friends and love ones. When I first arrived on Earth before I became Kami, Athren came and welcomed me we even sat down for tea with my Namekian Brother Naroka. Now he may have been evil then but I swear on all the kais that he would never have done anything like that if he hadn't of become a super saiyan. Power does crazy things to people." He stared at Reikiko, just the power that she had achieved was changing her. He never would have expected her to grab him like she is now and he never would have expected her to talk back to him with such anger.
"If you really think you can do better than Athren with that power, then I suggest you look back on what you have done. Yes you lost a master, we lose people all the time. But you know what is different between us, my friends can't come back because we don't know how he would act. But we can always bring back your master and if you still believed in me and if I was still the Uncle you loved. You would know that I would do what ever it took to make you happy. I know the apple tree was what made you happy, but this power and all these problems that you have is clouding your mind, you have to open your mind to the good that is happening not just the bad and the good that can happen. I can always plant you another apple tree, things happen and sometimes the world doesn't go as planned but if you have a strong mind and a strong belief in the ones you love. Everything can turn out right."
As Reikiko let go of his arm he walked out to Walker, the words of Reikiko echoed in the back of his mind. His noble intentions weren't clouding his judgement but he wasn't going to change, he was done looking away when people he loved did horrible things.

The words that Scargot had initially spoken were tragically not the ones she had hoped to hear. The Namekian had explained that Athren had not always been like that, that at some point he had been a more noble and kinder soul. Was such a thing true? While she wasn't exactly able to believe it, not from what she had seen that day Reikiko also couldn't help but acknowledge the fact that Scargot wasn't the type of person who would try to deceive her about something important like that. The words that power tended to corrupt people ringed within the back of her mind, and for a moment she couldn't help but reflect on those words. After she had ascended she felt different, more confident and cocky, to the point that even Vipoi had been considered less of a friend and more of a tolerable nuisance. She had even gone as far as consider herself a goddess compared to the mortals that walked the earthen soil. She thought it might had been a part of the Saiyan's nature that had seeped into her mind, but little did she expect it would have made its influence on her strong enough to actually change her... corruption her.
"DO NOT TURN AWAY FROM ME NAMEKIAN!"
Her voice shouted, almost unnaturally with a deeply ingrained sense of anger, and even disgust. The blue-colored irises of the bio-android had turned into a teal color, those that were known to belong to a Super Saiyan. Her ki had started to flare up drastically, almost dramatically as it coiled around her like a serpent. She raised her hand toward the direction Scargot had been walking toward, a pulse of energy flowing through her arm when suddenly a small crimson colored sphere started to gather at the palm of her hand. She had heard enough, if Scargot was about to keep with his beliefs, then he was nothing but a traitor to her. She was the real fool for having believed his teachings, to consider them to have merit, and yet as the projectile started to slowly grow more chaotic the bio-android couldn't help but find a single question resound amidst her thoughts.
Am I really about to hurt Uncle?
Was she truly about to harm the one person she had still left that she genuinely cared for, even despite their argument? Was this truly the way things were meant to be? Was her anger truly justified? Or... was the power within her corrupting her mind? It was the last question, that just as she was about to toss the projectile at the two of them that Reikiko's mind finally snapped. Her hand had narrowly prevented the projectile from being launched, snapping it close and taking the explosion into her own hand, seemingly enough to scorch most of her hand while a cloud of smoke had spread from the spaces between her hand. Was this what would happen if Reikiko turned into a Berserker?
"Stop it!"
Another shout followed, yet this time the bio-android found herself grasping a hold of her head, her face visibly distorting into an expression of pain while her ki started to flow out of hand. She understood what was going on now. All this time the Saiyan's essence had been slowly spreading its influence over her, corrupting her mind, heart and feelings and now it had almost turned its bloodlust onto her. Was this the revenge of the Super Saiyan? Was he about to try to avenge his death by causing her to spiral down into a path of destruction? She could feel it, the anger, the bloodlust, the pride, the various powerful emotions a Saiyan might had possessed had started to penetrate her mind, threatening to flood it to a point her thoughts might had gone blank. She couldn't even feel the presence of her sister anymore.
"Your grudge is meaningless Saiyajin, so stop trying to threaten me!"
She staggered backwards, her crimson aura seemingly altering between the golden hue of a Super Saiyan, and the crimson hue of the bio-android. Even despite her attempts to struggle she found herself slowly losing a grasp on her mind, and tears finally started to flow down her eyes.
"Walker, p-please use your power to restrain me. I-I can't suppress this power much longer, as a fellow bio-android you might be able to weaken me."
Whether Walker would have been brave enough to listen to her request seemed doubtful, but finally she understood what was about to happen. Either she would have to stop this essence from consuming her entirely, or she would have to find a means to prevent herself from being consumed, and harming the one she loved.
"O-Otou-san... save me."
It was the first time... The first time she had dropped the joking 'Uncle' and called him that one name she had refused to call anyone since she day she killed her creator. The plea the bio-android made as she called the Namekian 'father' seemed genuine, a plea out of despair while she continued.
"I-If you can't save me then get far away with Walker..."
If Scargot heard those words he would have likely not needed to even read her thoughts. She was planning to do something that would destroy herself before she could threaten anyone else. In the end, even if her desire for revenge was strong, her love for the Namekian, while something she would try to deny at all costs was stronger than anything else she felt in her life.
It was at that time the golden aura seemed to become the dominant color between the shifting presences, hinting that the Saiyan's essence was likely about to consume whatever remnants of her mind remained. But was this truly what she wanted? Scargot had even told her that Tamako could possibly be revived, a feat that would allow her to be reunited with her master. And what if she died? There would be nobody left to stop the ambitions of the Chimera project, and Yuriko would surely kill Scargot.
"I don't want this... I don't want to become perfect like this!"
Within the back of her mind something 'clicked', her resolve to ascend in her own way, without the influence of her creator's designs or the corruption of the essences she had absorbed seemed to stir something within her, for if Walker had tried to listen to her, the plant-based bio-android would have found Reikiko's energy to rise onto such a level absorbing it seemed impossible, and with a surge of energy a strong gust of wind escaped around her body. The golden aura and the menacing presence seemed to fade, changing the tint into a pure white color, as white as the snow itself. With a weak stagger she collapsed onto her knees, her face looking up at Scargot while the familiar softer presence of Reikiko, the same one he had felt in the cave that day seemed to return. However, for some reason it felt purer and gentler, almost as if she had ascended even further, closer to the presence of a true goddess who was not influenced by powers like good or evil instead of a creature of destruction.
"Otou-san... You were right."
She paused for a moment, seemingly struggling to get up, attempting to regain her balance until she finally was upright, and after a few unsteady steps tried to raise her arms to embrace the Namekian, at least if he didn't move away.
"Your friend... he was not evil of heart, it was the power he obtained that corrupted him. I could feel it... the essence that lingered was filled with such anger, such bloodlust and arrogance it consumed even the purest of souls. I think I understand now. The power of the Supah Saiyajin... no, any great power is likely to contain a certain darkness that threatens to consume even the kindest of persons."
She sighed deeply, finally breaking the embrace she had attempted to initiate. She understood it now, that to ascend to perfection she would have to learn to overcome those influences, else she would become nothing but a tool for the powers that flowed through her body.
"Even I, one who was created with the intention to become perfect, to become a goddess became swayed under the influence of the Supah Saiyajin's essence. It scares me Otou-san... To think there might be others, at risk of obtaining the potential to experience this also. Only someone who is truly perfect would be able to ignore this influence, and yet perfection... does it even exist?"
She couldn't help but wonder, was this perfection she strived for something she could truly reach, even with sacrifices?
"I believe that the only thing we can do is to strive to become as close to that perfection as possible, at least that is how I feel. Perhaps, having overcome this influence... I wonder if I'd be able to help people do the same, should they ascend one day. It would not be likely to prevent the events from West Capitol to repeat themselves, for humanity is truly a chaotic race... But perhaps we can protect and watch over their potential."
She smiled briefly while turning her gaze at the little apple tree that Walker had made, and after a moment of consideration she bowed lightly toward the bio-android.
"Thank you Walker. While you might feel that what you did just now had been on a mere whim, but the gesture means a lot to me."
And yet there was still a lot to do, she had finally mastered the essence that dwelled within her, tapped into what could be roughly called the 'Full Power' of her semi-perfect form. And yet, it was not the end of her path to perfection.
"I feel different Otou-san. A certain feeling... it's difficult to describe in words, but I feel calm and at ease, somewhat like how I was when we first met, and yet different."
Scargot would have most likely been able to identify the change, her pure white-colored aura, the softness in her tone and the feeling of her energy. It had lost the malice and wickedness it tended to have, and in a way it felt even more pure than those who were considered good of soul might had been. It was like she had become a being of true neutrality, Neither good or evil, almost akin to a goddess who respected the balance of life.
"But.. As much as I love to see Tamako-sensei return, this is not the time. I need to stop my sister, and the Chimera project from spreading their destruction onto this planet. Only once they are stopped will I be able to grant myself the happiness I desire."
She closed her eyes for a moment, before finding her cheeks flush up lightly, causing her to raise a hand to her cheek while she whispered with a hint of embarrassment.
"I do not know why, but when I call you 'Father' I feel a mixture of happiness and embarrassment at the word. It feels more pleasant than 'Uncle', and yet it will likely take me a bit to get used to it."
She had finally found it, the means to have truly ascended into a state of semi-perfection. Within her thoughts Reikiko felt that to truly become as close to perfection as possible she would need to someday master control over the essence of someone else, and yet the time for that was something she wanted to delay as long as possible.
"And yet... The fact I was unable to control myself until the last moment, a flaw that could have killed the two of you makes me realize I am far from perfection, or even to be able to be called strong. My body might be strong, but my heart and mind are fragile, it makes it clear that I still have a lot to learn..."
Being perfect... was truly going to be a difficult thing.

When the yelling started again, Walker decided to just ignore it for now. He didn't want to get involved in what seemed to be an immensely complex discussion about various events he had not seen. However, this resolve was quickly shattered, much like the air behind him. Turning around, his eyes bugged out. There, standing on the lookout, was Rei, exuding energy like a walking explosion. The tree could not sense energy, but you would have to be blind to miss the sheer forcefulness of her Ki. He was standing, unsure what to do, when the girl cried out for her to restrain the power.
Floored, he looked back and forth. It was like asking a man with a small paper cup of water to extinguish a bonfire. Not only would his power not be enough, it was very likely just getting close would eradicate him. It was terrifying, exhilirting, and... angering? Without time to consider this odd feeling, Rei suddenly switched topics. Tears were steaming down her face, and with a single sentence, the image of an angry god was shattered. Walker, now resolute, tried to walk forward. Perhaps he could do something, even if it was not much.
It was a foolish notion, and he was rebuked. With a crack, his hand sheared away, the force of the sudden gust breaking it off like a twig. He fell back, nursing it, and trying to figure out what to do. Suddenly, almost without warning, the storm settled. Reikiko's Aura was a clear white, and her tone stable. As she spoke to her uncle, or apparently, father, the tree-man tried to surreptitiously regrow his hand. There was no response. It seemed his stunt with the apple tree had exhausted his capacity to regrow for the moment. The pain was bearable, though, and subsiding.
As Rei calmed, speaking more clearly, Walker smiled. It was good that she seemed to be better, and more reasonable than before. However, something else now bothered him. In the depths of his body, at the very core, there was a strange, twisting feeling. It was unpleasant, and he didn't have a name for it. It got worse when he looked at the power of his fellow Bio-Android. His teeth grit a little bit, and it felt like he wanted to reach out, to grab her when she was distracted. Why wou- Blinking, he registered that Rei was speaking to him now, and nodded. She was thanking him for encouraging the tree? That was nice. It was... a good feeling. He was happy to be thanked. The strange tightness faded away, and Walker bowed. "Thank you. I hope it made you feel better. You seemed a little out of sorts." His deep, polite cadence made him sound like a grandfather. Ironic, given the bio-tree was by far the youngest creature there. His arms folded behind his back, he made no motion to reveal his stump. No need to trouble the girl with what had happened. It was more his fault anyway. Turning to Scargot, he bowed. "If you don't mind, I think I will rest a bit before training begins tomorrow." It would be a bit hard to train without one of his hands, after all.

Everything happened so fast, one second he was being attacked by Reikiko the next he was standing back watching her with nothing he could do. She had increased even more in power and something was wrong with her, something was changing. As much as he wanted to help, Scargot couldn't he had to do the thing he dreaded the most and simply watched as his daughter fought the inner demons. Suddenly Reikiko said something, something caused Scargot' emotions and feelings to explode. She called him father, no more of this joking Uncle, she actually called him father. Before he could do anything though she had already done it, she had ascended and perfected her new form.
Once she had finished Scargot ran over to her putting his arms around her, she may have changed and gotten stronger but he needed her to know that even though they had a fight he was still there for her. No matter what he was there. "Reikiko it's ok, we will do this together. Remember, I am here no matter what." Scargot smiled and turned to Walker and nodded, "Tomorrow Walker." He turned back and continued to hug Reikiko.
"No matter what happens from now on, I will always be your side. Even when I'm not just remember I am here. I am your Otou-san." A tear fell from the Kami' eye as the two stood there Scargot embracing his daughter.
