Post Order: Athren > Vipoi > Kora > Ninjin (possibly) > Rei I'm adding 'possible' for Nin since it depends on her decision on terms of Rei's choice. Post order is pretty much kept the same, just the people not involved in our fight are removed.

Seriously, who the hell did Koramund think he was? Suppressing his power level in a fight could generally only mean one thing. A sneak attack. Luckily, Even with Vipoi in his sights Athren was keeping a tab on all the power levels around him and Koramunds had faded. If Koramund could recall their last battle, Athren did that EXACT same thing to him when he had arrived. Kept his power level hidden and off the charts until BOOM. Koramund hit the ground. This was most likely a case of Koramund trying to get revenge but it simply wasn't going to happen. Athren was way too prepared for such an event. Seriously? Did he actually think something so basic would work!? Regardless, Athren had a couple seconds to kill.
Vipoi had opened his mouth. To be honest, his remark about guts was quite clever and smooth. Athren hadn't heard that one before but he was going to be sure to store that up in a mental note. Though, his second words were just as slick. Of course, they were said after he had shot the massive attack at the young super saiyan. "Alright then. So our fight begins." Athren mumbled quietly. He fully intend to take care of Koramund first, then he could potentially have the one in front of him all to his own. That's what he wanted. Since Kaiyo hadn't shown up yet, Athren was starting to wonder if she was even in the city at the time. If she wasn't, then he simply had one objective. Fight a strong opponent and win. Though, it wasn't typically going to be that easy. There was an army around the area and few around to stop it. He had his work cut out for him. He wasn't going to back down either. Even if it was him fighting them all, he'd fight until his last damn breath. He was a TRUE saiyan after all. No retreat, no surrender. He was going to fight till the end.
As the massive blast had headed towards Athren, it had appeared that he wasn't budging at all. It was almost like he was broken and at a solid stand still. He made absolutely no effort to move himself out of the way. Or so, One would've thought if they had only paid attention what appeared to be Athren. Of course, Athren had left behind an after-image and moved higher in the sky and outside of the blast radius. He wasn't being caught by that thing. Koramund, had moved himself inside of the blast radius to take a swing at Athren's After-Image technique, damn had that thing came in handy or what! That wasn't even the moving version either. Seriously, That was one of his BEST techniques.
Watching from above, Athren kept his eye on Koramund as he began to exit the blast radius. Unluckily for him, Athren wasn't going to let that happen. His life was going to end now. Athren was SICK of him. He complained so much when he got piled and called Athren out for a "Fair Fight" and now look what stunt he pulled. Coward. He wasn't a true warrior, Athren believed that he was nothing. His life was worthless and it would be ended. It was time to act and finish the damn creature off for good. Even if it did mean he'd reveal his strongest attack. Whatever, he wasn't going to let that thing regenerate either.
Watching as Koramund would've escaped the massive blast that had been launch above the city, Athren decided to make his move and finish him. Considering his speed was tremendously higher than Koramunds his next plan shouldn't have been to hard to pull off. He closed the distance in a hurry, him appearing to Koramund's backside. With about two feet inbetween the two. Athren raised both of his hands up and quickly charged an energy ball that had been a darker orange with red electicity bouncing around iFt between his two hands. "EAT THIS! NOVA FLASH!" With the words being shouted, Athren unleashed his most devestating attack point blank at Koramunds backside. If it collided with Koramund. It would've been more than enough to completely obliterate his whole damn body. Leaving not a single cell left behind to regenerate. If this attack hit. Koramund would have died.
If it worked and Koramund had died, Athren would've turned his focus to Vipoi and readied himself for a REAL fight. If Koramund had dodged. Athren would've focused on him to destroy him in a hurry.
Athren left behind an after-image. Went sky high to avoid the blast. Used his MASSIVE advantage over Koramund's speed to flank him. Point Blank: Nova Flash [MP3] Fired at Kora. = to 1,476,816PL This would COMPLETELY wipe Koramund out. Not leaving ANYTHING left. Attention then turned to Vipoi if Koramund died.

Vi-Poi had never seen someone move with such speed before! His forward-facing sensors were having problems relaying exactly how fast he moved, let alone determine his exact trajectory. He tightened the range, and was just able to visualize the Super Saiyan at high speed. The Super Saiyan had dodged his Mega Negative Bomb, which sailed past him and quickly left the confines of the city, exploding off into the horizon with a bright flash of white light. The ground trembled even here, and a great mushroom cloud tainted the blue sky from the wound.
Vi-Poi hmphed and cracked his neck, his synthetic muscles popping audibly. His thin black tie flapped in the high breeze like a banner. This Super Saiyan wasn’t going after Vi-Poi. He had his eyes set on Koramund. When he appeared behind the bio-android and delivered his massive flanking ki attack, Vi-Poi activated his High Intensity Mode. A bright crosshairs intersected in his Head’s Up Display, and a pulsing circle tracked Athren’s body, chasing his powerful ki signature. New data flooded into Vi-Poi’s now hypersensitive sensors, dumped into temporary storage created via quantum bit overlay on his backup databanks.
(Lock On/3D Scan Mode [SU] Used)
“Killing others. Killing yourself. Grinding one another down into the dust you will inevitably become!”
Vi-Poi sent one last broadcast to the entire Blue Banner Army, before switching that too into focused memory processes that would fine-tune his fighting ability. The message read across scouters and HUDs across the invasion force:
Vi-Poi’s faster-than-light Poitonium circuitry sang with energy from his fully-opened reactor heart. When he moved, he left the air behind him a scorching cloud of steam. He’d never felt so alive.
Vi-Poi flickered through the air like a stone skipping on water, and met this nameless golden creature with a thrusting punch that was aimed right at his face, followed by a swiftly swept upward knee that was intended to slam into the Saiyan’s gut.
“I can calculate the weight, the size, and the shape of the shadow of your ki, but I do not know your name, Saiya-jin warrior.” Vi-Poi mused as the two were close, “I’m Vi-Poi.” He said, spinning into a hard roundhouse that was angled to hurl the tailed fighter down into a skyscraper below. Should it connect, it would deliver enough force to blow his body through the entire building and into the ground beyond, furrowing pavement.
Should these be dodged, Vi-Poi would move more defensively, trading blows when he could, using high knees and sharp elbows to drive the counter-attacking Super Saiyan back with the fierce levers of short strikes.
But should his strikes connect, and should the Super Saiyan sail through the tower, Vi-Poi would follow immediately in his wake, charging balls of ki into his fists as he soared down to lance the alien further into the upset earth, causing a crater that would upend and topple nearby buildings in great throes of coiling dust. There was no turning back for Vi-Poi. He knew this battle would be the decisive moment in his existence. Someone was meeting oblivion.
(Lock On/3D Scan Mode [SU] Used, Vi-Poi's attacks are generally more accurate. Feel free to get brawly, Athren. The gloves are off!)

All of the people appearing, all of the pain and death slinging about and yet here she stood frozen in midair unable to help against the powers she felt increasing all around herself. Ninjin's fists tightened as she felt herself getting angry and her saiyan blood flooding upward and piercing against her human side. Hearing Reikiko speak about the bargain that she would have to strike in order to survive this encounter. Her body clenched as all the muscles in her tensed at once with a momentary flash of golden ki about herself. "You may call it a bargain for me to leave here right now... In order to protect those... that cannot protect themselves from those like us. From the very powers we possess and they do not. For the blood that we carry within ourselves..."
It would be obvious to Reikiko that the Turtle Master was fighting with herself as her muscles would keep flexing and a momentary burst of golden energy would erupt around her as she forced herself to remain calm. "You consider yourself above me just because of your strength Ms. Reikiko? In fact you are less than me as you are only here for the fight. For the spoils of this battle. By saying I had to choose between my own life and the life of Athren proved this to me. It proved to me that this Blue Banner Army is nothing more than bullies to the people of the planet. You could of had an ally with ease had this strong armed style not been used as I would of stood beside you with pride in order to defend this planet from those that would come along and try to kill us all to extinction."
Despite her words she stared directly at the bio-android before her. "You think this is a tough decision... Yes it is tough. It is the toughest decision I have had to make in my entire life and all you do is stand here and act superior to me because of what you truly are. You will never be anything but an abomination because of this..."
Her words stern and all the while she continued flaring randomnly in power. As if she was struggling against herself to keep herself fully restrained from everything going on around her. Feeling out as DAiki left the area she knew right where he headed and she knew that he had done the right thing. The very thing that she was contemplating at the moment. To head back and defend the students and civilians within the Turtle School or to stand here and die. Such a thing wore on her mind as she clenched her fists and glared her pupils changing to a blue and hair lifting for a brief moment. "Next time you and yours will not be so lucky Reikiko. Next time they will not have such an easy time with the city. In fact you will not have much of mine to use in the future."
Reaching out she knew that Daiki had evacuated the civilians and students from the Western City Dojo as she lifted her hand which flickered in golden energy. Her ki gathering on her hand as she fired it off impacting into the center of the Turtle School Dojo. The explosion from the ki levelled the school and yet did not damage any of the buildings around it. "Enjoy your victory for now... The next time I meet any of you it will be death for any of your army..."
With the final words spoken she burst with her lilac ki and flew off toward Daiki going through his shield with ease. Landing beside her student she spoke. "We train from this day forward. They will not take another city on this planet and they will not make me have to make that decision again. I will kill them all next time..." Her gaze unshifting as she felt the ki battle emerging behind her between Athren and the others. Her gaze had steeled as she looked on her ki continuing to fluctuate randomly with golden energy despite her power not changing in the slightest.

Post by Koramund on Mar 24, 2015 23:45:00 GMT
( Music for the end...) Koramund's eyes locked onto Athren, blood boiling from the raw essence of Vi-Poi's attack. Each and every second that passed, made him want to murder him with more and more ferocity. His muscles twinged in anger, his breath quite literally was setting the air around him on fire. Everything around him was engulfed in golden light, a giant sphere in front and behind him. The air thickened with tension, lightning crackled from their ki. Everything was going to end today? He wished to deny it, but in all truth he desired it greater then anything. Koramund silently rested on his knees, as the blobs of flesh he fired back hit the ends of their strings. The orbs reformed back into him, as he remembered the past for mere moments. The pitch black Angel was sitting in that tube of ruined flesh, her eyes stuck in a state of torture. Amadyura, his kind kind daughter, placed her pink hand on the tube. She adjusted her glasses, and began to form herbal medicine. Magala, the armored titan, was a silent morphing android atrocity. Almost completed in form, she protected the gang from any intruders. Koramund watched the three women in his life, all of his family, just burn into cinders and ashes. All hold on the Earth began to crumble around him, as the cold vipers of death prepared to engorge themselves on his sins. The beasts of nightmare and sin, slithered in through each and every crevice and crack in his ruined Earth. The eyes of Koramund lost their shine of rage and war, fading into the void of sorrow and regret. Tranquility was all that was left for him after the vipers whispered their last words. The golden viper formed from the horde of misery, becoming the form of a Super Saiyan. It asked him, "Will you give me a fair fight?" It's bold words echoed throughout the universe of his mind.Kora looked to the golden figure, shapeless yet full of life. He always wanted it not for jealousy or hatred, but he wanted it to finally feel complete. He had to protect his friends, and his only true friend was himself. Without anything left, he looked around to see if he truly was alone. No possession of his would leave him to the other world would they? He had nothing, he was a speck of dust in the universe who craved to be more. The winds of the golden king came to sweep clear his fields and sow the seeds of victory haven't they? The skies did not cry for his death, but were in a bliss of joy and cheer. Birds would be chirped, if it were not for the time. He tried to cut out his own heart to vanquish the void, but nothing worked. He deserved Hell, he deserved something worse for his sins. He was an unstable insane psychopath now, and that is all the world would remember of him. He plunged talons of life into his core of dying flesh, and wiggled the talons behind his twin hearts. From his spiritual mind, he lifted up his most prized possession. He held the teal flame of memory, of a time when he was still a person. Sacrid as her pitch black angel form stood there, with Amadyura and Magala hugging Sacrid like a mother. He split off many other secret images in his heart's core, looking at Naroka in heaven simply forgiving him. He starred into the abyss at Orion, and wondered if they would meet in Other world. Only a few images left, and the next was Zexama and Wyntre in peace, dining on candy with a wine that was just right. He hated her yet respected Wyntre, but in the end it was his own fault for not trying to fight. Koramund ended his small memory lane stroll by looked at Vi-poi, Ninjin, and Athren. One day, would they ever forgive him for leaving them? Would they ever forgive his stupidity? He would never know, and in such acceptance he spoke to the Golden Figure, "You know I can not..." The figure replied with his final judgement, "Then I shall see you soon, in Other World, if for at least a moment." Koramund started to rise, as he formed his dreaded attack, the Summoner of the Void - World Maker. This time, it was burning bright like a star, as it's raw energy ignited the beast under it ablaze. Koramund burned with the teal flame, his armor decaying with himself in one final shine of glory. He sung out a song in his final shining moments, letting those around him hear his death cry. The evil that has come to be, would call out one last time. He wanted to finally be put down, to finally be put out of this eternal burning damnation that death placed him in. He sung until he let the orb go, sliding barely past the orb of Vi-poi's own origin. The sphere ripped into the ground, forming a burst of matter, that reformed and entangled into a forest. It was only a city block big, but it held inside it his last offering. Inside the abyss held a crystal tear drop, the only thing left of the dreaded daemon of the Void. The pure carbon orb, was solid diamond. Everything, he left everything that single orb, relaying a message into it with his telepathy. It told whoever grabbed it, the location of his secret space ship that crashed. Inside was all of his last possessions, and with that he was finally done. Koramund spoke sorrowfully, "Hey, Ninjin, if you can hear me, tell this to all the others eh? I am not sorry for what I have done, but I am sorry for what it did to you and all the others. This is my final farewell, so goodbye to everyone..." He hit his scouter, and said, "Goodbye... everyone..." He let the scouter drop, as he was engulfed in golden light. He was shot forward, watching his earthly body disintegrate from all the ki. He felt all the pain burn his nerves, his very essence escaping from the corpse after all these years, but a voice called out softly into the minds of Athren and Vi-poi if they accepted, "...Thank you..." The vast explosion from the Nova Flash and Vi-Poi's attack, ended the life of Koramund once and for all. -------------------------------------------------------- Anyone can now grab from the orb - A Pitch black Scouter, Amadyura, and Magala (5,000 PL guards each) Koramund has died

"Your assumption is slightly wrong Nin-nee."
The girl's cheerful smile returned onto her lips at the sight of Ninjin's clear struggle at deciding on how to deal with this matter. It truly must had been a difficult choice, deciding between sacrificing oneself and her student for the sake of another person, against what literally would have been overwhelming odds. Or to abandon one person to save countless individuals.
"This has nothing to do with strength, far from it even. The mere fact that you are struggling so hard with this decision is a sign of how nice you are. Someone who cares about those who can't protect themselves, someone who prioritizes her actions on a moral scale. Nevertheless, no matter how nice or honorable those decisions are... You can't save everyone, and as long as you remain to follow such a pure path you will continued to become forced to endure this type of suffering."
Just like she did. If only Ninjin knew that it was literally Reikiko warning her from past experiences. Being one of the good guys would literally force her to make more decisions like that in the future.
"Nevertheless, it doesn't change the fact that your kind heart is also your weakness, and that is why I am superior to you. Not because I'm stronger, but because I'm prepared to sacrifice much more than you for the sake of what you would call the greater good."
The words that followed from Ninjin were expected, for in the eyes of many they would have likely become the general opinion of her. A soft chuckle escaped the green-haired child her parted lips before she replied in return.
"I am prepared for that. Let the world see me as an abomination, a monster and a villain. In the end one has to play the role of a villain, especially for the sake of another. In the end it pretty much makes me do the same thing as you did. I will kill one person, to save the lives of many."
Almost foreshadowing her future intentions the bio-android watched Ninjin finally leave the scene, her mind focusing onto the Turtle Hermit's presence for a bit longer before her lips curved back into a brief smile.
"Bai bai Nin-nee, maybe next time you'll understand... That there is only one way to prevent yourself from suffering like that."
Soon the woman's presence had disappeared, allowing Reikiko to resume her focus onto the ongoing brawl between Athren and Vipoi. This was it, her chance to focus on the one she considered her prey. A golden opportunity that she had eagerly awaited, and now nothing but the prey himself was standing between her and her ascension. Taking a deep breath Reikiko could recall the words spoken by her mentor. The Kikoho was a technique that would only become truly mastered if one was willing to sacrifice anything for its usage, and finally possessed a true need for its power. She desired power... Power above all else at this point. The only way for her to avenge her master's death was by ascending into a semi-perfect condition. It appeared Vipoi had finally engaged in combat with the golden-haired warrior, the android propelling his body toward Athren, and she expected the two of them would be exchanging blows soon. For a moment Reikiko continued to observe the clash between the two literal super forces when finally she could feel it... her aura had peaked drastically, now surging around her in an aura as fierce as that of the Super Saiyan, and mentally Reikiko knew her attack was ready. For a moment she looked at the battlefield, and whether Vipoi succeeded in his attempt to knock Athren into the tower and chase after him for another flurry of attacks... Reikiko had decided it was time for her to join the clash!
"This is it master... My Kikoho.."
As much as part of her wanted to fool around a little, engaging into an epic brawl that would be remembered for the years to come... she couldn't take any risks. Especially keeping in mind that she had entered this battlefield for the sole purpose of finding a powerful foe to devour... There simply was no way in hell she was going to let the Super Saiyan get away with this. If he was going to get more allies, then perhaps things would have been more even, but then they would arrive to an entire different scene than what one had predicted. The Super Saiyan's corpse would be gone, and she would be standing as the being closest to perfection on this whole planet.
No matter the current situation that Athren was in, whether he was brawling with Vipoi in the air, or had just been knocked into a tower... the moment her internal senses locked onto the Super Saiyan's presence the bio-android disappeared from sight. To some it might had seemed like she had teleported away, and in truth it was even something akin to that. While the movement she had just made was not a teleportation technique, the ultimate form of her shadow dance had pushed the limitations of rapid movement to such an extent that one could arguably call it 'the' ultimate after-image.
Within the blink of an eye the girl reappeared a few arm-lengths between herself and the Super Saiyan, and would have showed the sheer superiority of her After-Image technique by reappearing behind Athren once more should he have tried to after-image away.
"Don't take it personally Supah Saiyajin, but I don't play around with my dinner!"
Her hands still formed into that familiar triangle-shaped formation, the girl could feel the overwhelming surge of energy manifesting into a blinding light inside her hands, and with a illuminating flash the energy beam was unleashed onto Athren, even going as far as infusing her own bio-energy into it for a figurative sure-kill. The fact she fired at point-blank, and had her second after-image prepared to chase after the super saiyan should have been enough to finish him into a single blow. Nevertheless, feeling the sharp stinging sensations all over her body, forcing her to activate her Namekian Regeneration for the simple reason that she was otherwise going to have her own muscles torn from the backlash.
----
Battle details:
Reikiko launches a Kikoho launched at 266% PL (2559239), combined with her passively activated Shadow Dance Kai, and Acid Infusion. Shadow Dance Kai allows her to make two after-images, basically leading her to being able to pursue you a second time should you use an after-image to dodge.
Acid Infusion into an attack allows it to nullify any barrier's special effects, and if it succeeds in destroying a barrier, will regain its full strength.
Keeping in mind that she's firing at point blank, you're likely taken down.
-Namekian Regeneration activated in the after-match-
-Rei's internal sense/Scouter is active and locked onto Athren, in case he tries to do an after-image.
OOC: After considering my actions I'm going to go with what is the most natural for Reikiko. Being that she's a predator, and you're a high threat prey, she won't be toying around, nor waste her two-charges Kikoho. Sadly her risking her own safety for a fisti-cuffs, when she could get a more effective finishing method in would go against her very character... I'd have to play her the way she would act.

Post by Vi-Poi on Mar 27, 2015 17:23:19 GMT
(OOC: Posting since Athren has quit and affirmed his defeat, plus been way over 2 days since the attack was set)
As soon as they arrived through the building, Vi-Poi twisted and turned with the Super Saiyan, his eyes widening at Reikiko’s hand position. It was her kikoho! He’d seen it devastate Yuriko, someone with a much higher battle rating than Athren. Grabbing the Super Saiyan by the throat with an iron grip, Vi-Poi held him up, keeping the alien’s larger body in between Vi-Poi and the concussive push of the blast, the immense ki storm washing over the Super Saiyan like a cloud of death. Lines of ki that coalesced like a corona around his form, crackling as they tore into buildings beyond, engulfing entire floors with fire when the rays struck.
Even with Athren’s body as a shield, the excess energy of the ki damaged Vi-Poi, burning away much of his suit into a ragged and charred tangle as he struggled to maintain his body’s ki infusion. He could feel this Super Saiyan’s tremendous ki overwhelmed by the even stronger attack of Reikiko.
His reactor strained.
The synthetic flesh of Vi-Poi’s hand, so near the power of the kikoho, gripping around the Super Saiyan’s muscular throat, was burned clean by the energy, leaving only his Poitonium circuity and his yttrium-infused skeleton’s hand.
But the kikoho’s great energy was too much, even with the Super Saiyan shield. He had to flee the ki attack before it detonated. Vi-Poi pressed his foot against the Saiyan’s chest and kicked him hard into the kikoho, using the resultant inertia and his Afterimage Technique to blink away fast, leaving the ghost of his form as his rapid movement left even photons entangled and confused by his speed.
Vi-Poi blinked up into the sky just as the kikoho detonated, flung back from the explosion. He spun backwards like a top before stabilizing himself with a burst of ki.
He looked down at Reikiko, his combat algorithms stunned, amazed. The exposed metal fingertips of his skeletal hand were glowing with heat. He opened up his built-in scouter, waiting to see what came next…
(Afterimage Technique [SU] used) (Battle is all yours to finish as the victor, Rei)

The overwhelming surge of energy had almost threatened to push her own body backwards, using all of her endurance to remain upright while the Kikoho unleashed its power onto the Super Saiyan. At this point she couldn't even see the condition of the Saiyan anymore, aside from the confirmation that judging from the ki presence she had felt the moment she fired, and the fact his shadow was visible amidst the beam of energy that she had hit her intended target. Not even Vipoi was visible to her right now, perhaps because of how focused she had been onto the super saiyan.
Despite her ragged breathing Reikiko couldn't help but feel a wave of excitement rushing over her body as she saw the Super Saiyan collapse onto the ground. Despite the fact it had taken quite its toll on her body, Reikiko's Kikoho seemed to had worked like intended. An overwhelming force intended to defeat her enemy, that unfortunately came at a price. Letting out a soft cry the bio-android as she had landed on the ground, the bio-android collapsed onto one knee, her visage blurring for a moment as she felt her body trying to do its best to recover from the damage the backlash of her attack had caused. Even her Namekian regeneration was barely doing its job of mending the broken tissues and internal bleeding that had started to trouble her, and yet she couldn't help but try to ignore the pain. Even as she tried to get up, her body collapsed forwards with a loud thud, her hand feebly lowering to the side of her body, and after shifting through what looked to be a tiny parting in her carapace she pulled out a small green-colored bean of sorts.
"..."
After using the last bits of her strength to raise her hand to her mouth the bio-android started chewing onto the senzu bean, feeling the mild flavor spreading through her mouth, and soon a comforting warmth spread through her body. She was regaining her strength, and even while it was happening slowly, she could feel her body having grown strong enough to stand upright again.
With slow and unsteady footsteps Reikiko walked into the direction the Super Saiyan had collapsed into, and upon arriving near the spot found that his golden aura had faded. It was understandable, he had suffered from an attack that was almost twice his speed and strength, and yet the sight of his scorched body made her idly wonder if this would have been the same thing Koramund might had felt upon his death. To be the victim of an overwhelming attack truly was a gruesome way to be defeated...
With a light swish of her tail Reikiko grabbed a hold of the Super Saiyan's motionless body, the end of her appendage coiling around his neck, and with a bit of effort lifted him up into the air, the tip of her stinger resting just a few inches away from his throat. This was the golden chance she had waited for, the end result of all her scheming. She had turned herself into an enemy of Ninjin, for the sake of ensuring she would be capable of using her attack onto the super saiyan, and now she had arrived at the point she had waited for. At long last she would be able to absorb the prey she desired.
"It's tragic that you had to meet your end like this Supah Saiyajin. If given the opportunity I would have given you a proper fight, but for the sake of my ambitions I can't take any risks."
There were simply too many things at stake for her to 'play' around so to speak. What would she have done if the super saiyan had allies that were on their way? Would the combined forces of herself and Vipoi been enough to deal with them? Unlikely, if even a single one of them was slightly around her own level of strength, then the entire plan would have been broken. Nevertheless, at least she would provide the Saiyan a proper farewell by telling him why he had to die.
"Given that you're a Saiyajin I doubt that you have anything you wish to protect, or care for anything aside from your lust for battle... But on the off-chance there is something of that sort: Know that your death might given them a chance at living. Even as we speak a monster that is vastly superior to your own strength is released upon this planet. Should she be given an opportunity to feast upon those weaker than her... everyone on this planet might perish."
It was the truth. if Yuriko was left unchallenged it was very likely that someday everyone on this planet would be at risk of dying by her hand. Of course she didn't knew if this Saiyan had anyone or anything he cared for, given that aside from Aspergia all the Saiyan she met only cared for battle... well perhaps aside from Daiki.
"And even if you don't care about this world or the people that live in it. Rejoice at the fact you are about to give birth to a power that will be the closest to perfection on this planet. A goddess even!"
Slowly she lightened her grip on his throat, allowing the tip of her tail, and the stinger to slither lightly toward his back, not sure if he was even conscious at this point. Nevertheless, perhaps her words were just as much for the Saiyan, as they were a means to convince herself that what she was doing was the right choice to make. Gently she raised a hand toward the man's cheek, her fingertips making an almost affectionate caress while she whispered in a gentle tone.
"Now... Farewell golden-haired warrior. Should we meet again in the afterlife, know that I'll gladly provide you with a means to avenge your death. Perhaps we can even have a true battle at that time."
And finally it started. The stinger slowly dug into the man's back, and slowly she found her tail injecting its venom into his body. That paralyzing substance that served to slowly weaken the man's body, giving her the means to drain the very essence flowing within him. Soon the needle seemed to start draining something from the Saiyan, and whatever it might had been, it would clearly bring him closer to his death by the second. Even the tail itself seemed to enlarge a little when the overflowing energy of his essence started to course through her body... And for a moment she couldn't help but wonder if this would be enough. Would this grant her the means to ascend to a state of perfection? The sheer amount of energy that she was absorbing told her that she would likely tear through the very limitations of her current vessel... what meant she needed to ascend, if even just for the sake of surviving the act of this absorption.
A few seconds passed as she felt the energy starting to course through her body, and if Vipoi was observing her at that moment he would have noticed the bio-android had started to hover slightly off the ground, her ki slowly flaring up once more. First it was a minimal presence, at most perhaps ranging in a single hundred thousand, but at that point something 'odd' started happening. Slowly her ki seemed to be growing more solid, a crimson colored aura burning around her, and soon, as if she had conjured her Aura Sphere, the ki started to grow in density, coiling around her like a cocoon being spun. A scream resounded from within the cocoon, and rightly so for Reikiko could feel the overwhelming flow of energy tearing into her very being, a experience that was both exhilarating and painful at the same time.
"It--burns---"
She could feel it, the very essence of the Saiyan was invading her mind, threatening to slowly erode her very consciousness. Nevertheless, at the same time she felt her mind slowly slipping away she couldn't help but think back about something.
I have to stop her.
If she faltered her, failed to ascend then it likely would have been hopeless. She would have grown incapable of killing her sister, and then all her actions would have been useless. Her decision to leave Scargot's side, her choice to enter this conflict for the sake of finding strong prey... Making herself the villain in the eyes of one who might had become an ally someday.
I won't let it happen...
She just couldn't accept it. Even as the energy was tearing into both body and mind Reikiko couldn't help but think of that one moment... Yuriko had been such an overwhelming force, declaring those words with the same effect a venomous bite from a viper would have caused. The reason she failed to protect Tamako was because she was weak.
I WILL BECOME PERFECT!
Her voice had turned into a shout, a bellowing war-cry that caused a overwhelming surge of ki to pour outwards. It seemed even the earth itself was struggling with the metamorphosis of the bio-android, for powerful tremors started to emerge. It was clear that whatever was happening within the cocoon, it was most likely responsible for causing this chaotic surge of energy. Already the energy had rocketed up to single million within power level, and by now vicious waves of ki flowed outwards from the cocoon. The Bio-android's presence could clearly be felt rising and fading in response to the struggling effort to absorb the Saiyan's essence. The question was... Would she be able to accomplish it?

Vi-Poi watched Reikiko drain the smoldering Saiyan with her tail spike, in much the same way she drained apples. It was an intriguing visual. He recorded it for posterity. The Saiyan’s body twitched with the gulps of Reikiko’s tail, until she curled him into her glowing aura and he could no longer see the body. The blonde bio-android’s ki began to fluctuate wildly as she levitated from the ground, a pulsing aura around her. Debris and strewn wreckage around the city began to roll in and outward in time with the pulsing of that aura. It was like watching something breathe.
Vi-Poi circled the bio-android warily as her ki darkened to a bloody red color and began to harden. Reikiko curled up, and the ki became a physical carapace, like a crimson red egg. Or a cocoon. Vibrations began to tremble through the city as wild fluctuations in power began to ring on his built-in scouter.
Vi-Poi’s algorithms wavered in shock, his eyes widened. He’d always known that bio-androids represented an alternative path to his own mechanical construction, but he didn’t expect it to operate so superiorly in efficiency. The spikes were astounding!
His built-in scouter pointed out a chevron of government fighter jets that had managed to break through BBA lines and were circling towards the city. Vi-Poi hmphed and jammed their sensors, then threw up a few perfectly timed-and-spaced ki blasts. The tight blue arcs of energy flashed towards the planes until each jet erupted into faraway balls of fire. He had no time for annoyances.
He watched the egg and its massive energy spikes with a certain cautious curiosity, and switched his wideband back on. BBA forces were doing well. Very well, in fact. The government’s counter-attack had faltered, thanks to the slog of refugees sent in their direction, along with the massive advantage KAOS brought to the battlefield. Aside from Daiki’s ki attack, most of the five divisions were still intact and functioning at acceptable levels. The day would be won, shortly.
And then the Earth would have the protection it needed, it deserved.
Vi-Poi sent out a message to all BBA scouters:
The Super Saiyan is dead. Government forces are on the retreat. Hostile ki-sensitives are also moving away. Press forward. Ready the Rescue and Relief columns for any civilians that weren’t able to escape.
Once this battle concluded to their advantage, Operation Broadsword would be in effect. With the Central Capitol surrounded and the government’s main force defeated here, a negotiated end to this conflict would be quickly be forced upon the stunned Legislature, the current military leadership would be disbanded, and the world would usher in a new member of President Bao’s cabinet, one who would have no scruples about maximizing Earth’s capabilities.
He gave a soft smile at the thought. It was too bad that people like the Turtle Hermit had resisted him, though it seemed she came to the realization in the end that he was not evil incarnate. He would have to find her soon, and explain his motivations. It would sadden his social algorithms to be in her disfavor. He’d also have to settle matters with Daiki. He’d killed nearly two battalions with his ki, and should he eventually reach a peak as this Saiyan had, he could become more than a thorn in Blue Banner’s side. Vi-Poi would have to come to terms with him, one way or another.
He circled Reikiko’s egg from his high aerial perch, guarding over it, his sensors sweeping across the city. He felt ki battling here and there, but it was few and far between, and not the levels he’d witnessed earlier.
The end was coming, soon.

From the outside it must had been incredibly difficult to predict what was unfolding within the cocoon. Even as the smooth texture that had been woven had trembled lightly with every tremor, it was impossible to see the condition of the bio-android. Was she alive, or was she being torn asunder by the very essence she tried to consume? For a moment the tremors and ki waves subdued before the cocoon started to slowly lit up, small cracks appearing on the surface when all of a sudden any device or sense within the area would have felt a huge surge of energy escape from within, a presence that would have ascended all the way up to roughly a bit over two million in estimated power. A violent wave of ki was expelled outwards, like a storm being unleashed from within, a wave that was so destructive it caused anything within the surrounding area to be blasted away, even the few remaining buildings that might had not been yet obliterated during the earlier clash. Once more the cracks intensified, and then all of a sudden the cocoon burst open, accompanying the illuminating flash that was within.
"..."
As the blinding light slowly subdued Vipoi would likely been able to notice the tall being in front of him. Despite the fact that she resembled his companion in features, she seemed to have gone through a process akin to human maturity. Her blue-colored irises gazed around, seemingly with a lack of focus as her ki continued to flare around her visibly, the crimson aura almost oppressive in nature.
Is this what it feels like to be perfect?
Somehow she felt different than before. Her mind had a certain calmness to it, but she also felt a little bit of melancholy. Her eyes gazed into the direction of the android, and somewhere within the deepest reaches of her mind she couldn't help but scoff. Even Vipoi, who had been one of the strongest forces upon the battlefield now felt insignificant to her. Even at his full power he would have been but a nuisance, should she have desired to fight him.
"I see... Now I understand why you did that Yuriko... This lust for a worthy opponent, this desire for an exhilarating clash is an odd sensation. Is that why you killed her? So you could have forced me to become that opponent? Such a needless thing to do. I would have become perfect even without your encouragement."
Whispering to herself the bio-android's tail swished lightly, tossing the shriveled husk that had been the remains of the saiyan onto the ground before her. Even as it fell the last bits of essence had been drained, the skin slowly dissolving into a disturbing liquid while only clothes remained. Still, to think that she had become this powerful... Was this the type of strength she would need to become capable of avenging her master?
"I believe we are done here Robo Boy. With the golden-haired warrior being no more, there should be no more obstacles to hinder your plan."
Her tone was soft, and yet somehow different from before. There was a hint of boredom in her eyes, and for a moment she seemed to hesitate before she resumed their conversation.
"Is this how a god feels when walking among mortals? Even as we speak I can't help but feel conflicted about this. I obtained the means to challenge my sister, but who now has the means to challenge me?"
The pride and smugness she displayed seemed slightly foreign to the being who was known under the identity of Reikiko, and yet after a moment of consideration she chuckled briefly, raising a hand to her forehead before letting out a sigh.
"A Saiyan's pride, and their superior attitude... No wonder my sister acted like that. Perhaps I need to be wary, lest I'd be consumed by this new nature."
For a moment those words were mused with a smile upon her lips, it must had been the result of absorbing that golden-haired warrior. In the end she was made in such a way that by absorbing people she would develop certain traits belonging to them, or at the very least their species.
"Nevertheless, to think you'd be brave enough to actually remain in front of my Kikoho, even if you had him as a shield... Either you're brave, or suicidal."
Still, for a moment she couldn't help but wonder if Vipoi had been the reason she had even succeeded in the first place. If she had fought the Saiyan fairly in a one on one duel she would have likely failed. But little did Reikiko realize that a presence was approaching, and while it felt oddly familiar, and insignificant in power... she had no idea it was a presence that would influence her more than even the strongest warrior on this planet could have done.
-- Reikiko has ascended, and become Semi-Perfect!

Post by Scargot on Mar 28, 2015 0:10:49 GMT
Scargot had left just over a month ago on special Kami business, he had been spending sometime in the other world. As the guardian of Earth he needed to have a special bond and a place to stand where he could argue his case with Yemma. It seemed as if great battles were going to happen on Earth and if some of Earths warriors were to die, Scargot would be their last chance at going on the right path in the other world. Scargot had felt some great powers on Earth using his Telepathy and his Far Sight but only a few of them were powers he recognized, he decided to let them go as he could't feel his daughters in trouble. Once he had finished and spoken with King Yemma about his spot on a sort of council for Earths Fighters he took his leave, the trip was longer than expected but he was sure his daughters didn't do anything too drastic on the Lookout. Teleporting back Scargot had reformed back in his throne room, sitting on his seat. At first he couldn't feel any of the powers from Either of his daughters but as he got readjusted to the Earth he found Zexama's. With a sigh of relief he walked out of the throne room and to the front of the temple, once he had left the room he felt that something was different, Reikiko was no where to be seen, something that wasn't normal as he knew Reikiko didn't like going anywhere unless she had to. Praying that the demons hadn't come back and attacked her he ran to her room shouting "Reikiko!... Reikiko!" Opening the door there was nothing there except... A note, the note read. Dear Uncle, As you likely are aware already I recently failed to protect one of the people precious to me. Her loss weighted heavily on me, and with the knowledge that my sister will not rest until I obey her wishes... I have no choice but to challenge her in a suitable fashion. Unfortunately this means I have to acknowledge my true self. Despite your kindness to treat me like a normal person, I still am a bio-android, a parasite that feeds onto others in order to evolve. It is for that reason, to protect the remaining people I treasure that I'll have to leave behind the happiness I found alongside you. Thank you for everything and...
Farewell Uncle. Reikiko
Tears began to stream down his face as he put the note in his robe and began to run back up and out into the open, he noticed that the lookout was different but if it wasn't because of Reikiko and Zexama it was no worry to him. He stood on the edge of the lookout and began to feel the powers of everyone on Earth until he felt a power that resembled Reikiko's. He remembered Reikiko's power level was about the same as his but there was nothing of that powerlevel anywhere on Earth. Suddenly he noticed that he couldn't feel Naroka's power or Athren's power, something was wrong here. Deciding to take a new route to the situation, he began to enter the minds of everyone on Earth until he reached Reikiko. She had to be on Earth, there was no where else she could be, after a few minutes he found her. "Reikiko"Leaving his voice in her head one more time he powered up to his maximum and flew off the lookout going towards her. Stopping his telepathy he began to speak to himself, for the first time since he got to Earth he was incredibly worried. "I'm coming Reikiko, please. Don't do anything..... Please." Tears still streaming down his face he made his way to the West Capitol. Reikiko's power was now clear to him, she had done something extravagant which boosted her power 10 times.
Landing about 20 feet behind Reikiko, Scargot saw that his little daughter had grown up a lot since he had last seen her. He knew what had happened here but he couldn't let himself believe it, he thought he had worked everything out with Reikiko. They were going to find a way to do this without hurting people. Scargot placed his staff on the ground with a loud thud. The thud was so audible the blue haired man and Reikiko would hear it. "Reikiko... What happened to you? I can't let you hurt anyone Reikiko." The tears began to fall from his face onto the road beneath him, Scargot glared at the man next to her. Was he controlling her? Scargot had never seen him before and couldn't feel his powerlevel at all. "Reikiko, come back with me. I'm sure we can work everything out and everything can go back to normal." Wiping his eyes, he knew he wasn't strong enough to stop her but he was Earths Guardian. He had been away for too long and missed so much, he wasn't going to let anything else happen. "I don't know what this man has told you or what has happened since I have been gone but I know we can work this all out. Just like before, I am here to help you Reikiko."

Post by Vi-Poi on Mar 28, 2015 1:50:21 GMT
Vi-Poi folded his arms across his chest as Reikiko completed her transformation and emerged from her red cocoon an adult. She looked the twin of her sister Yuriko, with different coloring and tint. His reactor configuration was returning to normal, slowly closing up now that the fighting was down. His circuits seemed to sigh with relief. His tie, scorched and frayed from her kikoho, flapped raggedly in the wind as he slowly descended onto the rubble-strewn ground. He raised his naked robotic hand to his face, stroking his chin thoughtfully with metal fingers as his Heads Up Display and Scan Mode processed a new flood of data flooding off of the bio-android.
He was initially worried, worried that his friend’s temperament would have been violently and drastically altered by her transformation. He knew she assumed a piece of her assimilation’s personality profile… did that mean she’d become as bloodthirsty as that Saiyan had been? When he saw a clear view of her face, though, he was relieved. He read no malice on her features.
Reikiko informed him that she believed they were done here, and looking at the city, Vi-Poi had to agree. The planned reconstruction phase would have to be redoubled and expanded.
“I would not know how a god might feel.” Vi-Poi said in answer to her question. He pursed his lips in worriment. That was not the sort of question the old Reikiko would have asked, nor would she have pondered new challenges so readily. Perhaps she had changed more than he initially calculated. “Recall the Nega. The lantern that burns brightest draws others into its glow. You must be wary of what dark shadows in this Universe might seek you, now.”
Vi-Poi’s built-in scouter beeped as he read another power incoming, this one substantial but nowhere near threat level. He hmmed. There was something strange about its energy signature. Something different, and yet somehow familiar. His algorithms couldn’t match it.
It belonged to a Namekian. He landed behind the now grown bio-android with a burst of ki. Vi-Poi immediately put it together. So this was Uncle. The Kami. “Perhaps you can ask him how a god might feel.” Vi-Poi suggested, walking towards them both. Vi-Poi’s smile grew, immensely pleased at this development. He hadn’t expected to draw the Earth’s Guardian here. The creator of the Dragon Balls… it was an immense opportunity. His built-in scouter was already analyzing his possible DNA matrix through a mass spectrometer reflection. He’d have to analyze it with several members of his Dragon Clan, assuming they were most-closely hereditarily linked, and he’d be able to build a suitable profile for the machine he’d found at the old Red Ribbon Headquarters.
“Hello.” Vi-Poi said to the Namekian in greeting. A crippled building behind him began a slow collapse into a dust cloud. He raised his metallic, skeletal hand to the back of his neck, rubbing it sheepishly. The Guardian was weeping, for Reikiko’s change or for the damaged city, Vi-Poi couldn’t tell. Both, perhaps. Expressions of grief made his social algorithms uncomfortable.
He waited for Reikiko to respond, deciding that answering this Kami would be presumptuous on his part.

"Then let them know I'll gladly obliterate any shadows that threaten to consume me."
While she grinned briefly, the moment she heard the loud thud of a wooden staff hit the ground, the bio-android slowly turned around, the sight that awaited her causing the smile to disappear and instead turn into a look of surprise.. Despite the adult-like appearance and the remarkable change in her power level the voice that spoken the following words clearly belonged to only one person: The girl he had known all that time as his adopted daughter, the bio-android Reikiko..
"U-Uncle?"
She couldn't believe it, even after the warning she had left behind he had still decided to pursue her? Even if she had heard his voice as a whisper in the back of her thoughts, she had taken it as a simple illusion, a thing of the past that she was recalling, rather than actual telepathy. Slowly she found something cracking within the back of her mind, and suddenly a familiar scene replayed itself vividly amidst her thoughts. It was just after she had absorbed her two sisters, and weakened from the fight she had chosen to hide herself within a cave near the bamboo forest. A kind elderly man had found her, and after feeding her some apples had decided to take her in under his care.
"W-Why did you have to come? Don't make this even more painful for me than it already is!"
A hint of despair could be heard in her tone, her eyes clearly reflecting signs of sorrow and suffering as she raised a hand, allowing a torrent of energy to channel into the form of a small sphere at the outstretched palm of her hand. Although several bullet-like ki projectiles were launched toward the Namekian, they seemed almost akin to warning shots, for each of them had a trajectory that would certainly miss the divine guardian.
"Don't you understand?! If I was to stay around you, then you would just end up dying! I... I had prepared my heart for this, to kill anyone that stood in my path if they threatened my ambitions.."
Tears started to flow down her eyes, the memories and feelings she had tried to suppress for so long having slowly been stirred back to the surface. Vivid images of her planting the giant apple tree at the lookout, the times she spend eating apples alongside him while looking down into the blanket of clouds below the timeless lookout. Even that one time where she received her weighted clothes and started training diligently.
"WHY SCARGOT! WHY COULDN'T YOU STAY AWAY?!"
In the end he was the only person she couldn't bring herself to slay... the only person in this entire realm that she still loved. By now the feelings had threatened to overwhelm her so much, the sound of her shout being enough to send a vicious wave of ki outwards, almost blowing against the android and Namekian akin to a heavy gust while the bio-android felt her legs slowly give way, causing her to collapse onto her knees. Why couldn't he have stayed away? If the Namekian had never tried to chase her, then perhaps she could have defeated Yuriko, and ended this bitter existence as a Chimera Sister once the project was done. However, the sight of the Namekian made her recall something.
Within her heart there had always been two distinctively different individuals. While there might had been Reikiko the bio-android, a predator and parasite that fed onto the essence of others in other to grow stronger... There was also more to her than simply that. Reikiko was also the name of a human girl, a moody and slightly sarcastic girl with a fondness for apples.
"It's unfair of you to do this to me... First I lost Tamako-sensei, and now you're about to make me risk losing the only person I still care for?"
By now she had started sobbing, her visage blurry with tears and her ki aura burning viciously around her, as if her emotions were making the lack of control over her new power even more apparent than normally. However, even with Scargot's kind words having their attempt to soothe her sorrow, it seemed it only increased it even further.
"Why... Why did I have to have such an imperfection like those feelings? If I don't forsake that weakness I will become unable to kill my sister. She already took Tamako-sensei from me... Do you really want her to kill you also?!"
If she didn't ascend to perfection, then she would never become able to defeat Yuriko, nor would she be able to prevent her sister from killing Scargot just in order to spite her. Couldn't Scargot understand that it was necessary for her to do this, not just for her sake but for his own also?
"Tell me Uncle! What is it that you want me to do?!"
She was confused and sad, like a lost child who had no clue on what to do when faced with a complicated problem that needed to be solved. If she was to return to his side, then she would likely mellow down again and become too weak to be able to destroy her sister. If she failed, then Scargot would certainly die. There was no way Yuriko would skip an opportunity like that.
"I thought that if I devoured the Supah Saiyajin it would have all been complete. I would been able to slay my sister and end this, and yet... Why did you have to make me recall everything?"
She couldn't... Even if she had told herself that the day she met Scargot again, would be the day she would kill the Namekian with her own hands, but it was impossible.
"Why can't you comprehend that my love for you will just get us both killed..."
It was a whisper, spoken in a feeble voice that likely would have barely been audible to the two of them. And then there was Vipoi, what would he have thought of this situation? It was clear that the Namekian had a far greater influence on her than any opponent could have had, and perhaps in a way he might had been the only one capable of handling her at this point. But the question was, for what reason did Scargot appear? What purpose did his presence held? Only time would tell what his actions would have caused.

As Reikiko spoke, Scargot could tell she was not happy with his appearance here at least not right now, she seemed to feel guilty for the things she planned to do. Suddenly she fired a few ki balls towards him, Scargot simply kept eye contact with her. He was trusting in his daughter and knew that she would never hurt him. The Ki balls soon changed course and ended up missing him just by inches on each side, letting out a short breathe he put up his hand signalling her to stop. "Reikiko-chan... I told you, I can't let you do this..." He stopped or a second as a tear fell down his cheek, Reikiko was not ready for him to speak so he simply listened, he could tell she was stressed but this had to happen now. "I can't let you do this alone."
He took a few steps towards her making sure to not anger her anymore, he took out the note from his robe. "You don't understand Reikiko, that day when we first met face to face in the forest I told you." Scargot used his telepathy, putting out his finger and pointing at her, putting the words in her head and causing them to repeat. ("I don't run because I know all about you. The real you, not what you were built for that means nothing to me. Everyone has a destiny but whether you choose to follow it is up to you.") Scargot watched as the words repeated in Reikiko's head, he was sure this was going to be painful for her but there was no other way. After the words stopped Scargot spoke again "Do you remember Reikiko!" He shouted this before putting more words into her mind. ("We'll think of something, but there are better ways then sacrifices to get you stronger. Trust me.") But this time the only words he made repeat was "Trust me." Reikiko hated that she still had these things called feelings and maybe if Scargot did this properly, he could make her remember the reason why she joined him in the first place. These thoughts weren't just repeating in her mind but Scargot was remembering that very same day as well, the tears were filling up in his eyes but he couldn't show weakness, not right now. Vi-Poi felt like he was intruding on a familial squall. His built-in scouter flickered as the analysis was complete. Reikiko was weeping, screaming at the Kami, flinging warning shots into the ground before him. The Kami himself was unafraid by this though, and seemed set on reaching her in some manner.
“I apologize for the destruction caused today. It was the necessary birth pangs of a new, better system.” Vi-Poi said to Scargot, bowing his head respectfully. “You know where to find me, should you ever need to.” He said to Reikiko simply, before raising a hand in farewell and ascending into the sky. He did not stop at the atmosphere, no. He had felt something of their emotional levels, and didn’t know how to process it. It wrought him with unease and discomfort. He needed escape. He ascended into the cold blankness of space, letting the ion tide wash over him.
He closed his eyes. The Poi-that-was was unruly, scattered, after so much physical and mental trauma. His circuits danced with it. Vi-Poi sent out broadband messages to all members of Blue Banner:
Secure the city. Finish the fighting. Victory is at hand.
Up here, soaring in the icy darkness, it was easier to suppress the emotional ghost inside of him. He called for Big Blu, summoning it from the recesses of interstellar space. He could feel the spaceship acknowledge him as it began its intercept course. He peered down at the Earth. It looked much less vast, at this distance. If he put his hand over his eyes, everything he’d ever experienced could be eclipsed by his fingers.
Vi-Poi did just that, pulling his fingers in front of his eyes, blotting out the Earth. He then scissored two fingers open, exposing Earth in the gap between his stretched fingers.
For some reason he could not discern, he laughed at the sight. [Leaving thread and soon Saga, a wonderful ending ]
