Well, this was a problem.
Last time he checked, he hated the cold, so why was he slithering through buckets of snow on a god forsaken mountain, hell, this wasn’t helping his immunity to the cold, and if anything it was killing him! Well at least he didn’t feel hungry, that was an upside last time he checked, even if he didn’t feel very hungry he still wanted to taste the sweet meat that this planet’s animals offered him.
Still in his searching he couldn’t find any other Ryashi in the area, his hope was slowly decreasing, but if you really thought about it, he wasn’t looking too hard. Like seriously why would any sane Ryashi venture in the snow, it’s not like he was sane, having his entire family dead in just two days tends to make someone insane.
Oh great, thinking about this place only brought the death threating cold, this was useless, I think it’s time t.o…go… He felt extremely tied by the intense cold and almost fell asleep, which would certainly lead to his death, he tried to coil his tail as much as possible to maintain body heat but still enable movement across the not-hot snow.
What’s the point he continuing thought to himself, he had no hope for anything, the only thing he would plan on doing would get stronger then die, the end. He continued to slither as well as talk to himself, funny the things one does when they’re insane. ”You know there is no point in continuing right? Yes there is? Okay, what is it then? I have to do stuff? What type of stuff? Important stuff! Like what? Like getting rid of you! Oh.”
What was he on about, maybe this cold was messing with his head, yes that was the reason, don’t think about the cold and- GOD DAMNIT, he suddenly re-felt the cold, as soon as he thought about why he wasn’t supposed to think about it. Never mind that, he was nearly of this damn mountain, and the sooner he was, the better.
He could see a city with sky-scrapers scaling up into the clouds, it wasn’t too far away, he could most likely achieve his destination in roughly ten minutes, that is if he didn’t think about the cold, oh wait, DAMNIT! This was annoying, now he felt like going back to sleep! He had a last resort, and this was probably time to use it.
He thought about the time he saw his Mother and Sister being hanged in his basement, the memories flooded his mind and he continued to slide across the soft mushy snow, he remembered the times him and his sister were playing when she was just a toddler, and even further back, the times when himself was a toddler playing with his mother, he remembered playing traditional Ryashi games.
He continued to think about until he heard cars zooming across the roads, wow, how time flies when you’re thinking about your dead family members is a question no one will know the answer to. He slithered across the footpath before seeing a woman holding two shopping bags walking out of a shop, she was whistling a little tune to herself while looking at the ground before seeing Sha-ung’s lower snake body.
”Oh, umm, hello there… Nice day isn’t it? Oh look at the time! Better get back home, lovely to meet you though!” She said this while extremely confused, and then when Sha-ung wasn’t looking she bolted across the street nearly getting hit by some cars before sighing and going the long way home. Sha-ung was utterly confused as he saw the woman looking quite nervous, and apparently these humans have created the ability to make invisible watches.
He didn’t care in the slightest right now, maybe that was something he could do, he could help these earth-lings, he didn’t have any plans on returning to Appodorra, so maybe he could help these humans not die, he realised his new goal, to make as many people as possible not live out the same terrible outcome.
He continued to travel though this rather big city and in counted some more nervous humans, he approach a nearby forest that was adjacent to the city and looked around, well, it wasn’t a hot climate, but it wasn’t cold either, so this is fine. He continued to travel around looking for prey to feast upon, since he was no longer being hunted by the cold his other needs came into action.
He slowly slithered through the leaves before an elk caught his eye, he locked onto it with neon blue eyes while it was gracefully sipping water out of a pond, the pond had a green lily pad with a beautiful pink flower rooted into the top of it, leaves occasionally fell from the trees around the pond, causing little ripples to be formed when they gently hit the water.
Sha-ung curved his tail in a tight zig-zag line and leaned down, his chin no more than an inch from the ground, he awaited the elk to arise from the pond and finish his final drink, his final drink of life. The elk raised his head from the water as in swallowed the remaining drops of water in its mouth.
It was time. He extended every single muscle in his tail with force as flew through the air and towards the innocent but helpless elk, the new prey saw the threat come into view but it was far too late for anything that would save him, the elk raised its front legs to attack at the predator, it was a good attempt but Sha-ung just turned to the right and swirled around the elk grabbing the back of its head.
The elk was being slowly stretched with its hind legs on the ground and its front legs being pulled towards itself while they are facing up, it was in excruciating pain, and Sha-ung new this all too well, instead of letting the poor animal suffer for any longer he tightened his grip on the elk’s head and pulled his right hand right and his left hand left. He underestimated his own strength and instead of just snapping the elk’s head he had ripped the entire thing off.
He didn’t mind to much expect for the fact that now his clothes have blood stains on them, but that didn’t matter too much right now, all he could think of was the taste of juicy meat that awaited him, he widened his mouth and bit into the soft skin of the elk and ripped it out using his fangs, she swallowed the raw juicy tender meat until there was no further reason for him to eat.
After he had cleaned his clothes in the very same lake he continued his search another Ryashi, if only he had some way of finding one he wouldn’t looking in a stupid forest, at least this forest wasn’t -1,000,000*F, if fact it was a tropical kind of forest, perhaps even a rainforest for that matter, never mind the name, it was warm so his chances of finding another Ryashi were also high.
He wondered around before realising he had journeyed the entire forest over seven times, ok, one thing was for sure, was that there wasn’t anything in this damn forest expect a few twigs and a bunch of f***ing trees. He left the forest in search of something he could do before going back to the humans that he thought were friendly.
When he arrived he heard people screaming around the corner of a building, he walked around to see a massive demon punching into building and squashing people with his hands, he was laughing as a demon would laugh while jumping onto the side of a building and ripping a chuck of it out. If you were good at estimation you would be able to tell that he was roughly 7 meters into the air and extremely stronger.
The sad thing is that the demon only had a puny power level of 450, it was quite sad really, but, he did not need all his power because of his size and since people were too afraid to ever face him head on, unlike these humans, Sha-ung was brave and strong himself, so he decided he would try his best to help these humans not be killed by this demon.
He moved his sword, which was being wrapped around by his tail, to his hand and grabbed it with both hands, he closed his eyes and lifted the sword in the air as it started to glow with extreme light as the energy radiated into his mighty blade, he snapped open his eyes and moved the down into ground, as the wave of ki travelled through the air it hit the demon in the neck and it got hit back with great force and fell on his back.
He slowly got up, but when he did he only laughed at Sha-ung, he did not see him as a threat in any way, so he started to run towards him and put his hands together and tried to hit smash hit into the ground, Sha-ung swerved out of the way using his tail then wrapped it around his hands, he lifted his hand back up and tried to pull them apart but had no success. Sha-ung unwrapped his tail and the used the leverage to pull him up and launch up towards the demons head and prepared his sword for an attack.
He felt like he had to end this before he got from bad to worse, no doubting this demon had a possible transformation so if he wanted this to be easy, he would have to finish this. He tightened his grip on his sword and unleashed the ki wave into the demons skull, then once he did it once, he went the same way back, he cut the creature’s skull in two but it didn’t end there, it continued through his entire body and split into two as well, when both of them hit the ground there was a large crash.
He wrapped his sword back up with his tail and left the demon body in the middle of the city, he slithered away and went back to the desert, and he dug a large hole in the ground and buried himself, he enjoyed the warm sand and drifted off to sleep and waited for the next day to come, then, the nightmares began.
