Kadbra was on one of his usual trips again, this time flying over the Western Frontiers. As per usual, he was simply enjoying the scenery of this world - after living his entire life in the Demon Realm, and most of that trapped on a mountain summit in a dojo, he didn't grow tired of simply exploring this vastly varied world just yet. In fact, he enjoyed his time here more and more, returning to his 'home' in the Fortuneteller's Desert less and less often, though it was still his preferred place for training.
The demon was gliding through the air relatively slowly, just above the treetops of a forest, when he noticed something in the corner of his eye, and turned his head to take a closer look. What a strange sight... As if there was a vertical 'line' in his view, very thin, almost unnoticeable. If he had been flying any faster, he probably wouldn't have noticed it. Redirecting his flight, he accelerated a bit, expelling a black aura of Ki around himself that he was giving off as per usual whenever he strained himself a bit. Getting closer to the 'line', he could finally tell just what it was - a tower. Not a very thick one or anything like that... But a tower nonetheless, one that went straight up into the sky from what he could tell. Landing at the base of it, he looked up, perplexed as to why one would built something this tall randomly - and also wondering how something like this tower was still standing, seeing as it didn't look all that robust. Putting a hand against the cold stone, the demon examined the strange object closer, feeling along the engravings.
Said engravings went rather deep into the tower, which was oddly spared from any vegetation that one would assume would love those types of walls. And from what he could see, the pattern repeated itself endlessly upwards, into the sky... Did it mean something in a lost language? Unlikely, from what he saw, but then again, Kadbra wasn't exactly a scientist. But this pattern reminded him of one thing - the huge rock wall he had to climb multiple times during his earliest training to strengthen his weak body, since back then, he was the demon equivalent of a human child. "Well, why not try this again? It has been some time..." mumbling that to himself, the tall blue demon reached out his hands, and started to pull himself up. He could probably also simply fly up the side to find out what was at the top, but he had not climbed anything pretty much since the day he learned how to fly using his Ki - and it was a bad idea to forget the basics fully! And so, he started a long climb up the strange tower.
After a while, the demon peered back down - he couldn't even see the ground clearly anymore, and the clouds seemed to be pretty close by now - together with what seemed to be the top of the tower! Whistling lightly, the demon gripped tightly to the stone of the tower - the wind this far up was pretty brutal, but he WAS a demon, and not exactly the weakest kind, and so he continued on his climb. The 'top' of the tower seemed to be a sort-of circular room - climbing inside for a quick look around, the place seemed deserted, yet there was no sign of decay. Jumping out of the round room, Kadbra flew up to the top of the actual tower now with his Ki - where he noticed something equally strange. Was that... a pole, going up even further? Blinking, strangely intrigued, the demon poked against the wood. Maybe it was enchanted? That was one explanation for it. He himself had some talent in magic, simply from the fact that he was a demon, and some additional natural attraction to it thanks to being born from wild energy. With a whim of his mind, Kadbra now shot up into the sky, using his Ki to fly alongside the pole going upwards.
The flight was definitely shorter than the climb earlier, if only because Kadbra didn't have to give too much effort into it. A rather big cloud got in the way of his sight, but the demon continued rushing upwards, confident that even despite the cloud he'd be able to stay on course next to this strange pole going into the sky... And the cloud parted just in time for him to see the wall he now slammed his face into with a loud, crashing sound, followed by a loud "OW" from the blue demon. Rubbing his face, with tears in the corners of his eyes, Kadbra looked at what he just slammed his nose against. A... floating structure. Now it was pretty clear that magic was involved, yes. Curious, and slightly careful, the demon floated upwards again, along the side of it, and landed on the edge of the strange structure, which seemed to have a huge platform on it, with even some plants growing here. What was this place?

Scargot was sitting in the throne room, it had seemed that the dream had rattled him a bit. But he couldn’t dwell on that for too long, it was a new day and a new chance to make some more allies. Scargot had gotten used to meeting a new person almost every single day that he had lived on the lookout, people of different races were always stumbling upon the lookout… Except for Earthlings, it had seemed that no Earthlings knew of this place and they probably weren’t going to find out about it soon.
Scargot got up and put on his light weights, if he couldn’t train with Toma it didn’t mean he couldn’t wear his weights and get used to them as he walked around and did his daily duties on the lookout. He began his day by doing a routine check of the power levels that were around him by sensing their Ki, it seemed like no one was going to show up until he felt a Ki right below him this Ki was at roughly 6,700 PL. Scargot prepared himself for a new visitor, he quickly finished his duties by watering all the plants on the lookout and walked back into the temple, it seemed like it was always a good entrance when he walked out of the temple to meet his new friends.
Scargot walked into the temple and sat down at the throne and began to sense this beings Ki awaiting it’s arrival, it seemed to be going fairly slow. But why? Something with that much Ki should be able to fly and reach the top in no time, what was it doing? Scargot began to wonder as to what was happening but decided to wait it out, suddenly the being took a boost of speed and before Scargot knew it the Being had reached the lookout. But before Scargot could get up he heard a crash coming from below, Scargot shrugged and began to walk out as the blue man had just landed on the lookout.
“Hello young one, my name is Scargot I am the Guardian of this lookout, what is it you are looking for on the look-“ Scargot stopped as he looked at the man, he could feel it more clearly now. The Ki that was coming from the man wasn’t normal, it was almost an evil aura. “What are you doing here?” Scargot said defensively as he stepped back a bit and stood with his hands together.

Kadbra's face switched from friendly, to overjoyed, and ended on slightly worried - or maybe slightly hurt - at the end, as the stranger spoke to him. The demon did not expect anyone to be up here in the sky, on this floating platform... Let alone someone else who was obviously not human, since humans generally didn't come in green and with antenae. So this was the lookout, and the strange green man was the guardian? Well, at least the blue demon now knew where he was here, up in the sky.
"Uh-uhm, well... Sorry if I'm intruding, Sir Scargot. I was just... ehm..." The incredibly tall, muscular demon scratched the back of his head with the left hand, looking down on the ground in embarassment over his inability to really pick up talk with strangers, let alone the type of strangers who were obviously hostile towards his presence. The last person to be openly against his presence, Satin, turned out to be a terrifying monster - but this green guy did not seem to be full of malice like the other demon Kadbra knew. Really, the facial expression of the horned one did NOT match his overall image given by his outfit and huge sword on the back at all. "E-exploring, yes. I'm still new to Earth, in a way. I'm Kadbra of the Demon Re... no, I mean Kadbra of the Fortuneteller's Desert. So I'm really, really sorry if I'm intruding here. I can go, if that's what you want." explained Kadbra now, looking up into Scargot's face again. Of course, Kadbra was still emitting his dark, demonic Ki the entire time, he had no way or ability of hiding it in any way - but he also dencounced his home plane by refusing to count it as his home or a place he was proud of belonging to. It was obvious that the horned being was a demon, but he also didn't have any malice in his body language or manner of speaking - his voice was strangely soft and youthful for someone that was nearly 8 feet tall. Of course, people reacted with fear or hatred towards demons often, but he had hoped for some understanding from other non-humans. Of course, not everyone was like Nai-Ran, so open, accepting and friendly... Unconciously, the demon held his right hand in front of his chest, and with that, in front of the pocket within his jacket that was holding the Senzu Bean she had given him. He also took a small step back, now standing directly at the edge of the platform of the Lookout, a vast sea of clouds beneath him, stretching as far as the eye could see. Really, it was a marvelous place. "But, I really want to tell you... This place is amazing. It looks so... tranquil."

The blue may have had an evil aura about him but Scargot could feel something was different about him. The way he spoke and his expressions were almost if he was in the wrong body, Scargot smiled he guessed that being Kami he shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
He decided to listen to what he had to say, he had never spoken to a demon after all. The blue skinned man stuttered as he responded to Scargot causing his grin to grow even wider. His antennae perked up when the boy said "Demon re" then changed his answer. It seemed he was ashamed of his heritage and where he was born, Scargot walked a bit closer to the boy as he was standing on the edge of the lookout. He shook his head and raised his right hand at the boy who apologised for intruding and said he could leave.
Wanting the boy to feel at home he didn't speak up and merely walked up to the boy putting his hand out as the boy commented on how tranquil it was on the lookout. "It is isn't it." Scargot said outstretching his hand and grabbing the demons. He held the demons right hand in between both his hands and closed his eyes as he used his Ki sensing ability to reach deep into the boys Ki to see his genuine feelings.
After a few minutes of careful searching Scargot opened his eyes and looked up at the boy and smiled. "How did you stumble upon my lookout young one?" Scargot took the boys hand keeping the extremely potent sense of demon ki out of his mind and took him over to the flowers he just watered. Kneeling down he picked one up and gave it to the demon before sitting down on the stairs to the temple and patting the stair next to him hoping the demon would sit with him.
"I'm a Namekian from planet Namek if you didnt already know. I don't get to travel much though what is this world like up close?" Scargot tried to make conversation with the boy letting him know he was a friend.
(On phone so no colour sorry.)

Kadbra was just about ready to jump off of the floating structure when he was stopped by this strange, green man. He shook his head with a smile and walked up to the demon, who blinked a bit surprised when the smaller being took his large, blue hands into his own... A strange sensation came over him, it was quite odd indeed. As if this being called Scargot looked into Kadbra's very soul... Which was odd, because the demon wasn't even sure if he HAD a soul, being wild energy and all. Still, he closed his own eyes as well, being perfectly calm - he had no reason to hide himself or his nature. Sure, he was a demon, and his Ki had the natural feeling of darkness and hell itself... But it was devoid of malice. And without malice, the darkness was nothing to fear, but simply another part of the greater cosmos, that they both partially belonged to - Scargot by being the guardian of Earth, Kadbra by being from a different dimension far closer to the primal forces of the multiverse.
Then, the strange feeling ceased, and Kadbra opened his eyes again - whatever Scargot saw within him seemed to convince him, for now. The horned, tall man nodded with a smile. Now that the hostile atmosphere was gone, this structure seemed even more tranquil and peaceful... And beautiful. He was then led over to a few of the flowers by Scargot, who proceeded to hand one of them to the demon - careful, with a gentle hold not expected from the clawed hands of a monster like him, the blue one held it up to his eyes and examined the plant with a kind smile on his face. The closest to something this beautiful in the demon realm were the fireblood trees over on the pass of howling storms, which led through some of the bone mountains - these trees had beautiful red and violet flowers, fuelled by the blood of the demons they ate when they got too close. Those trees had strong, flexible branches and thorns that shot out, pierced, and drew unsuspecting demons in, before draining them of all bodily fluids and eating their flesh. But of course, the beauty of their flowers paled in comparison to just something like this simple flower.
Kadbra pondered this as he sat down on the stairs next to Scargot, before looking away from the plant. Of course, before he sat down, the demon removed the huge sword from his back and laid it on the ground at the bottom of the stairs - the black metal gleamed a bit in the sunlight, and the shine made it clear that the demon took good care of his weapon. The huge slab of metal was about as huge as the demon himself, making it an impractical weapon for someone smaller. The fact that Kadbra was so quick to put his weapon out of his direct reach just showed how easy going the demon really was, even around people he only just met. "Pure chance, really. Since I've taken up residence in the desert nearby, I often fly around a bit early in the day to get to know this world better... And I spotted a tower in the distance, by chance. I figured that such a large tower wouldn't be normal, so I climbed up... Figured I might as well do something basic again, you never know when having a good grip is important, right?" explained Kadbra with a chuckle. He figured that for the humans that lived on this planet, climbing up such a huge tower was an incredible task, since their population didn't seem to have that many powerful beings. Of course, that was pure speculation, since he couldn't feel the energy of other beings. "Though I flew the rest of the way. Really, I didn't expect to find a place like this in the clouds. Then again, I generally don't expect to find anything at all among the clouds."
Then, Scargot explained who he was, and asked about Earth. Kadbra's face lit up even more - if that was even possible. He looked a bit like an overexcited child right now. "Planet Namek, you say? Interesting... I've never heard of that place in the demon realm. Even Earth was mostly a rumor in the areas I'm from... Some even believe it was destroyed by a Majin, but as one can easily see, that isn't the case. It is really odd, how quickly truth turns into rumor. I'd like to visit Namek at some point... And a lot of other worlds. Just sail through the ocean of stars, if you will." he chatted away. "Earth is... breathtaking, really. Full of life, in so many forms. It probably isn't perfect... And there's a lot of evil still walking around, even here. Compared to where I'm from, though, this is a planet of saints, and I want to help keep it that way. But the best part, really... The people that one can meet here." spoke Kadbra, reminiscing about the people he knew - Orion, the proud Saiyan, Nai-Ran, the kind Ryashi, Zefonse, the mysterious, strong-willed swordmaster with so much skill in his blade... And of course, his rival and strongest enemy, Satin. "Oddly enough, the most colorful and interesting people I've met here weren't humans, or at least, not anymore. A rather strange man I got to know early on called himself Orion - a Saiyan. Proud warriors, from what I've understood... But also focused on conquest, which I found quite... disturbing. Then there's Nai-Ran, one of the Ryashi. A really kind and strong person, from what I gathered... and quite heroic, despite rejecting such claims of being a hero. Then there was Zefonse, of course. Powerful being, but even he isn't sure what he is - and he seems somewhat displaced in the world. I don't want to speak for him, but he's an incredible swordmaster - watching him wield a blade is a work of art! And his heart seems to be in the right place, too." With that, he gave a short describtion of each of his new friends and acquaintances. "But as I said... there's evil, too. Satin is a demon, like me... And he fits the image people usually get. Evil, cruel, and kills for sport. I've been trying to track him down ever since our first battle, to make sure he doesn't hurt any more people... Easier said than done." The darker topic made Kadbra quite uncomfortable, and his smile vanished for a second, showing his worried face - worried that he was not a good enough hero to stop Satin for good. "But yes, that's my impression of Earth. Incredible people everywhere to meet, including you, Scargot. And a bit of evil always lurking, trying to catch one off-guard. And before I forget to mention it... the color." Looking back down at the flower that the Namekian had given him, Kadbra let out a small chuckle again. "Would you believe me if I told you that, before I came to earth, I had never seen a clear, strong green or yellow color anywhere? Not to mention the blue skies, or the satisfying brown of an old tree of fresh earth. Even the color of the sand in the desert is so much more vibrant than the demon realm."

Scargot eyed the sword that the demon put on the ground as he sat next to him on the stairs, the sword was so black it was as if he was looking into the void from his dream where he met Pipa. It was as if he was looking into the demon world itself, but before getting dragged into it's gaze Scargot looked back up at the giant blue demon. He couldn't help but chuckle at the demons overly excited face, he had never seen someone so excited to talk about the world around him and it was a nice change from all the serious talks he had with his recent guests.
The Earth really did sound beautiful and the fact that he wanted to protect it and that there were people that were nice to him made Scargot really happy to be the Future Guardian of this world. That people can look past what he looks like and be nice to him for his child like attitude and love of life made everything so much better.
Hearing about his friends he had met and even his enemy was great stories and Scargot couldn't do anything but just nod from everything that Kadbra was saying, once he had finished Scargot chuckled about how Kadbra had described the demon world. "Yes the people here are amazing, I myself have only met three other people. Toma and Athren the Saiyans with the two different personalities but both with a love of fighting and getting stronger and my Brother Naroka a Namekian born on earth. All amazing people but there is a darkness here, as I told you I am the Guardian of this lookout but in order for me to do that I had to rid myself of everything evil in side of me. But the only way to do that was to expel my evil half from my body and somehow he has found his way here to Earth, I just recently found him here in a vision I had whilst meditating, Kadbra I need you to be extremely careful ok. My evil halves name is Pipa and he is looking to become a God a Demon God if you may so please, keep away from him don't let him get you he is very persuasive trust me." Scargot got up half way through his speech and began to walk towards the center of the Lookout, he looked up at the bright blue sky that would tell any normal person that all was good in the world but Scargot knew his brother was getting stronger, the sky wouldn't stay blue for long.
"That is why I am waiting to be approved by the Kais themselves in order to ascend to the status of Kami and be the rightful Guardian of not just this lookout but the whole Earth, then I will be able to rid my evil half from this world and it will be back in peace. But I need your help for that Kadbra, will you become an ally of the future Kami? When I call on you, will you come?" Scargot now had a serious look on his face, something not many people had seen before as it was a complete turn around from his normal attitude. "This is why I need you to swear to me that you will never ever go up against Pipa because if you do, I don't know if you will come back... And I can't have my new friend leave this beautiful world this fast."

And yet more news of a terrifying monster on Earth... and once more, Kadbra was told to stay away from him. Quite strange, how this was already the second time he heard of a demonic and dangerous entity, especially with how his 'rival' Pipa was also a demon... Even here, so far away from the demonic realm, he just couldn't get away from the terror spread by them. Although it sounded as if Scargot's demon was of a quite strange origin... As far as someone born from wild energy could call someone's origin 'strange'. Kadbra was pretty happy to hear that there were at the very least two Saiyans here that didn't desire conquest, simple love for fighting - while Kadbra himself didn't enjoy the act of fighting, he enjoyed getting stronger and protecting people, so he also had the heart of a warrior.
"A demon god... He isn't the first demon with such a lofty goal." replied Kadbra with a sigh and slight nod. There were always the crazy ones, thinking their power made them somehow capable of ruling over others. But it took more than power to be considered a god - and if the blue demon had any say in it, then he would stop this 'Pipa' from ever reaching such heights in power. Of course, Scargot right away told him why exactly he shouldn't fight against Pipa... especially alone. And really, Kadbra understood the reasoning behind it. Nobody wanted to see their friends die, much less due to a different 'part' of themselves going haywire. It would be like seeing his own inner darkness take over and turn him into a true monster, only to then kill his friends - an unthinkable, terrifying possibility.
"Scargot, I promise you.. once you become the Kami of this world, I'll be there whenever you need me, to help you protect it. I love this world, and I won't allow any harm to come to it... For the first time, I feel at home somewhere. So call me up anytime you need me." Still smiling, Kadbra gave a thumbs-up with his right hand. "Or for any harm to come to you, buddy. I finally have friends - I'm not allowing any demon, no matter if Pipa or not, to harm them. So well, while I can promise you to help you out whenever you need me..." Kadbra sighed and looked to his green friend with a slightly worried smile. "I'm finally getting to really know myself. And by now, I'm sure of it - if I saw Pipa trying to harm someone innocent... I couldn't keep myself from interfering. So while I can't promise you that I would never go up against him, but one thing I can promise to you: My story and journey will not end because of him. I refuse to be taken out so easily, and while I'm not all that powerful yet... I'll improve, further and further. I don't like fighting for fighting's sake alone... But protecting something is a worthy enough cause to train and battle until I can really be a warrior worthy of defending earth. And no other demon will stop me from doing just that." With an affirming nod, Kadbra's smile was a bit more determined now, and his words made clear that he was no fool, despite his childlike wonder for this new world. While he wasn't the kind of warrior to fight someone just to compare strength, he would train and fight as much as he had to to really protect the earth.

Scargot had done it, he had created an ally that would come at the call of Kami, he was happy that he had found such an ally who shared his love for the world and shared his willingness to protect it with his life. But as the demon spoke of Pipa, he knew that no matter what the demon was going to confront Pipa if the time came to it, not heeding the warnings of Scargot the blue demon would do all he could to stop an evil demon from taking over the world.
Scargot smiled and nodded at the young demon, he had given him the warning everything else was in his hands and nothing more Scargot could do. The more people who knew of Pipa the better and the more people on Scargot' side the better, Scargot stood up and walked over to the demon who was serious about everything he had said so far which led Scargot to believe that the life of the demon was as he spoke and wasn't exaggerated at all.
Scargot stood beside the demon and put his arms around him, embracing him knowing that Scargot was not just his ally but a friend. "You can come back here whenever you wish, my door is always open. Please come visit me sometimes." Scargot said before letting go of the demon and stepping back with a smile. "I'm glad I met you today Kadbra."

Today... really was a great day. Not only had Kadbra found one of the most sacred places on Earth, no - he also made a new friend, who was the guardian of the entire planet! ... Or at least, someone who would be the guardian of it soon. When Scargot walked over to hug him, Kadbra was surprised at first - nobody had ever given him a hug before. While flying above Earth's cities, he sometimes saw humans do this - a sign of trust, friendship, and close bonds. With his usual kind smile, Kadbra returned the embrace for a moment. It was almost as if he could feel their hearts connect in a way... For some reason, this felt almost nostalgic to him, despite this being the first time he ever hugged someone in his life, as far as he could remember. Maybe in a past life, he had also shared a close bond with someone under such a beautiful blue sky?
As the Namekian let go of his new demonic ally, Kadbra nodded at his words, standing up from the stairs. He was confident that, together with Scargot and his other friends, he could find new meaning for his life in protecting others, and enjoying the simple things - such as watering flowers, watching the clouds float by, and simply talking about nothing in particular. A simple life, one fit for a warrior bound to protect the planet for life. "I'll be sure to come back from time to time. Wouldn't want one of my friends to go without knowing what I've been up to." said the blue-skinned demon, picking up his massive sword so easily that one could mistake it for a toy, before putting it on his back again, securing it to his body to make sure it didn't fall off while moving. "I'm also glad, Scargot. You're such a nice person... I'm sure you'll be Kami in no time, and you'll do great as the guardian of this planet. I'm sure of it." Giving his friend a smile and a thumbs-up, Kadbra almost turned to leave, but stopped short of it, remembering something else he wanted to ask of Scargot for future meetings. "Introduce me to your other friends sometime! I want to meet the other defenders of the planet!" And with a final wave and nod, Kadbra unleashed a bit of his demonic Ki, and rose up into the air. Taking a final flight in a circle above the Timeless Lookout, the beautiful flowers, and his friend among them, Kadbra vanished into the light blue sky, the sunlight now reflecting strongly off of his sword as he did a few barrel rolls while flying away, giving a final cascade of light in multiple colors shining down before going on his way.
