Pipa had been pushing himself so hard without recognizing his bodies’ limits. He had been wounded badly during his fight with the strange creature under the arcosian’s command. Since then he had ignored all of his wounds and pressed forward to gather a small group of slaves in order to begin construction of his own temple, a shrine to his own glory as the future god of the earth. He thought of himself as an egg, just like that of the child he had recently born… one day he would hatch into a deity that would be worshipped by both the living and the damned.
The recent birthing of his first child had pushed Pipa further into exhaustion. Leaving the pterodactyl like being that he had spawned to watch over the slaves as he retreated to the other side of the mountain to lay upon the stone for a time and rest his body. It had been the first time that Pipa had laid himself down to rest since he had arrived on this planet. The concept of sleeping was lost upon him, until recently he had been unaware that it might aid his wounds in recovery. As he lay upon the rock, he could feel the tiredness in his eyes taking over. It was as close to peace as Pipa had felt since…
Where was he? Everything around him was a plain of lush green. The place seemed to be familiar. He observed his hands, they were small and green. He thought back, he had a similar vision before… when the wizard had knocked him unconscious when he first arrived here. He could see several small white huts that dotted the landscape before him. Yet everything seemed to be empty and void of sound or life. Pipa clenched his fist as he stepped forward nervously, he felt weak in this dream realm.
He looked up into the sky, instead of its normal blue shade it was a rippling black void, yet somehow the world around him was illuminated as if the sun was out. There was no moon, or any stars…
Pipa arrived at the small village, there were several huts all around him. He peaked into the first hut, and inside of it was another world altogether. It was filled with frost, and it blew towards Pipa in a torrent at the door until he could slam it shut. Letting out a sigh of relief, Pipa sat on the strange grasses. Whatever this planet that he was dreaming about, it wasn’t the earth he was used too.

It was a quiet night up on the lookout, the past few days had gone by like a blur with each passing guest to have set foot on the lookout. The first guest was Toma then Athren and Naroka then the strange Halfling Fukusha all who had different reasons for arriving on the giant temple in the sky. All these visits had left Scargot exhausted and even drowsy; Scargot could feel an evil growing somewhere on the planet but as of now it wasn’t big enough of a problem that would lead Scargot to need to investigate.
He was the future Guardian of Earth but he knew that he couldn’t start his work by stepping in every time something evil is born. If he did it would lead the world to a point where it wouldn’t know how to defend itself and as of right now Scargot wasn’t strong enough or had the power of the Guardian of Earth to do anything about it. The stars shown on the lookout as Scargot did one my round of viewing the sleeping Earth from each direction before retiring to the temple doing some much needed meditation.
Scargot didn’t get many quiet nights like this with Naroka always popping around and Toma living there, he was glad to get at least one night a week where he could meditate until fell asleep. Scargot crossed his legs as he sat on the throne in the temple and looked at the door way the lead out into the open air. He began to float as he closed his eyes, letting out a small humming sound as he rose, his aura glowing around him as he floated in mid-air.
He could see nothing but darkness as he went off into his meditated state, it was calming and incredibly peaceful as his mind was completely clear from any rogue thoughts or anything that would cause him from losing concentration. After what felt like seconds in his mind Scargot opened his eyes, he wouldn’t normally stop his meditation but it had felt like the air around him had changed and he was finding it hard to breath.
Once he had opened his eyes he looked around to see himself in a green field, the feeling was incredibly concerning to Scargot as he had never felt this before or been to this place. He looked down to see he wasn’t floating anymore but just sitting on a rock, standing up and dusting himself off he looked up to the sky to see it wasn’t the same sky as he was used to, this sky was completely black.
Not having a single idea about what was going on; Scargot began to walk around this… world. After journeying for a while he stumbled upon what seemed to be a village, he decided to go and see if anyone else was living here or if he was completely alone. Making his way into the village Scargot couldn’t feel anyone’s energy, this world seemed to have a different feeling to the world he was used to as there were many life forces but none that he could tell were coming from people.
“Hello?” Scargot said just in case someone was hiding from him.

Pipa thought he heard something, but his senses picked up nothing here. It was as if his ki sense were muted, his antenna and ears deafened in this state. The voice echoed throughout the area, a simple hello that clung to the air as if it were traveling through a narrow tunnel. Pipa turned to see a green creature with antenna and a face that seemed ridiculously familiar. A Namekian… that is what the human who had summoned him had said he took the form of.
If Pipa were nothing but an imitation though, why did he feel a sense of familiarity coming from this being? Why was this lush green world so familiar to him as well? His eyes widened as he stood paralyzed looking at this namekian adult, he couldn’t understand why, but his very presence gave Pipa a sense of emptiness. He felt incomplete, and this being was somehow the answer. He finally made the effort to move so that the other being could see him as well.
“Who… are you?” Pipa asked as he stepped out from the ovular hut with an ivory color. Depending upon Scargot’s awareness of his own image, he might detect that this being looked identical to himself from his childhood. Something about the beings demeanor was different though, as if it were filled with a confused sort of anger. Along with its widened eyes, its mouth bore a toothy scowl and its fists were clenched tight. Breath poured from Pipa’s nose as if he were a bull about to charge.
In Pipa’s mind though, he was as calm as he was capable of being. He still wanted to attack and maim this other being, but he was exercising restraint so that his curiosity could be sated. He looked this other being deep into the eyes, curiously trying to determine this unfortunate sense of familiarity.

For a while there was no answer to Scargot announcing his presence in the village, he continued to walk around and survey the area. The huts all appeared to be empty of life as he knew it, before going to the first hut and opening the door he heard a voice come from behind him.
“Who… are you?” The voice said causing Scargot to turn around just in time to see a figure step out from one of the huts; Scargot squinted his eyes and studied this new figure. Taking a few steps forward before noticing what he was looking at.
“Hmm… So this is a dream.” He said getting down to the Namekian’ level, “Don’t be afraid little one, I am not here to harm you. My name is Scargot and I am not afraid to say that I believe that is your name too.”
He put out his hand as if to touch the small Namekian child, Scargot didn’t know what was happening here. The last time he went into a dreamlike state he had to fight off many demons inside of him in order to make himself pure. The Namekian he an awfully good resemblance to how Scargot looked when he was younger, maybe this dream was in order to tell him about his past and maybe something he had forgotten.
Something was running through Scargot’ mind, he didn’t know what it was be he knew that it was something captivating. Scargot had a strong attachment to this boy as if he had been missing something and this boy was the key to find what he had lost and making him whole again.

Pipa continued to scowl at the Namekian who appeared to be older than he, in this strange dream sequence at least. Inside of his head his mind filled with many questions that he had up til now not asked himself. He had a vague memory of a time that he was living as a dark shadow, surrounded by nothingness... but before that... nothing...
This familiar stranger had tried to touch Pipa, but he quickly backed away from him. He wasn't used to the clothing he was wearing, white robes that draped over his stubby child feet. Pipa tumbled to the ground, and fell onto his bottom. He continued to crawl on the back of his hands even after the fall.
It wasn't the gesture as much as what the being had said. His name was Scargot. The very sound of the name felt intensely familiar to Pipa, he felt a shock as his brain tried to identify where the familiarity had come from: still nothing concrete at all.
Pipa continued to stare at the being in front of him with frightened eyes. His mind raced looking for any explanation to this dream. He thought back to what had happened earlier, when he had spat out his first deranged spawn. He tried putting two and two together in his head, looking for the most reasonable explanation that he could. Was the reason for this strange bond and familiarity the same relationship that Pipa was sharing with the new spawn of his?
"F-father?" Pipa asked. It was the best guess that Pipa had. As he asked, the back of his head began to flake as if it were drying and turning to ash. It was a slowly creeping affliction that seemed to be deteriorating the boy as if his entire form would eventually blow away in the wind. Pipa did not seem to notice this himself, as he felt no pain and was still staring intently at the other Namekian.

The boy didn’t seem to take a liking to Scargot as he didn’t seem to be too happy to be here, Scargot had never had a dream like this where such strange unexplained things happened out of nowhere. Usually when he meditated and went into a dream sequence the dream would explain itself but right now Scargot didn’t even know where he was.
Pulling his hand back as the boy backed away from him gave Scargot the impression that he wasn’t meant to get close to the boy, as he thought this the boy tripped on his robes and fell to the floor and continue to move back. Scargot slowly began to move closer to the boy but stopped as he noticed the boy was frightened, not wanting the boy to feel frightened Scargot put both his hands up and stood up.
“I’m not here to hurt you.” He said with a on his face, the smile slowly changed when the boy spoke up again. “F-father?” The boy said with a quizzical look, Scargot stepped back and began to ponder.
Why would his dream be doing this, why would he be dreaming about being a father to a child that looked like himself when he was a young boy. Scargot looked around before looking into the sky, the dark void was nothing special to look at as it was almost like they were the only two in the world.
Scargot put up his arms and then put his hands together, “Why am I here. What does this dream mean! This boy who looks like myself, why is he here? Please just give me a better sign!” Scargot said before looking back down at the boy who seemed a bit different, Scargot quickly got back down to the boys level and studied him, it seemed the back of his head begin to turn to ash. Was this the sign he was looking for? Or was something a lot worse about to happen?

Pipa continued staring at the namekian with angry and confused eyes. As if his skin were alit by a fire underneath his skin, it continued to chip into ashes all over his body. He noticed this, but felt no pain from it as the remaining skin underneath the ash was a charred black color. This was the skin that Pipa was used to, the way his skin had been charred in an explosion within a mountain by a clever human named Mr. Munster who tried to destroy Pipa.
Pipa stood up from where he had fallen on the ground and glanced as he watched the false skin that the dream had given him fade away. He began walking towards Scargot, his small form seemingly expanding as he drew nearer to the Namekian. The dragon clan robes draped around him ripping as he walked towards this familiar face. His skin was as black as tar, with etchings of strange demonic writings carved in a twisting pattern up his body. His eyes grew to look sick and reddened as if they were strained, and his barred teeth seemed to be more pointed than the average Namekian’s.
As Pipa approached Scargot he raised his hand out in an attempt to grab this fool by the throat. He wasn’t going to listen to ambiguity, he wanted answers and he wanted them now.
“Why do I know you?” Pipa growled.

Scargot still watching the boy who seemed to be losing his skin more and more over time, but as Scargot looked closer he noticed the kid wasn’t really losing his skin it was more as if his skin was burning and leaving a black skin in its place. The kid was incredibly angry at this point, what could this mean as the boy looked like the younger version of Scargot a second ago to now a black Namekian who almost looked like a demon.
As the Namekian stood up, Scargot stepped back a few steps not wanting to get in its way if it decides to leave. Upon closer inspection Scargot began to realize something, the evil being in front of him… It may not have been a coincidence that it first took the appearance of a younger Scargot as with its new look and deterioration of the Dragon Clan clothes he began to remember something… Something deep from his past, something he never wanted to be confronted by ever again.
Suddenly before Scargot could move the being had stood up and grown to a full size Namekian and now had his hand around Scargot’ throat, after growling out his question Scargot took the best breath he could with the Namekian around his throat.
“Because… We are one in the same. I am you and you are me we were once a part of a stronger being.” Suddenly around the two the world began to distort and the ground around them disappeared, everything except for the huts went away and in its path left a lovely blue area but still the sky was a dark black void. Scargot could tell though, Scargot knew where this dream land had taken them.
“In this very place, was where we once separated and here was where we became who we both are today.” Scargot said putting his hand on the demons wrist in an attempt to stop him from choking to death. Scargot had no idea what this dream was meant to accomplish or whether this was a dream anymore, the Demons hand felt real and as if he was really there.

Pipa let out a raspy grunt as he heard the creature make a claim that they were one in the same, two pieces of a greater whole. The dream was so vibrant and realistic, he could feel the Namekian’s blood pumping though his jugular vein as he held Scargot by the neck. Pipa was about to try and crush his wind pipe and be done with this silly dream, when the environment seemed to shift. He looked around at the familiar scene, but he didn’t want to believe what this little scab was saying. He violently flung his arm to release Scargot, throwing him as far as the quasi physics of the dream would allow. Simultaneously, he began flying towards Scragot with his teeth bared.
“You are pathetic, there is no way we are even related!” Pipa shouted as his eyes began to glow with a vibrant green light. He was prepared to unleash his eye laser on Scargot in mid-air, but then something caught his eye as he was traveling towards the Namekian. It was as if through their flight the location below was not changing despite how far the throw would take them. As he looked downward his eye beam seemed to fizzle out, not gathering enough charge to make an attack. He elected to instead meet Scargot with an attempt to kick him in mid-air back towards the ground.
As they came closer to the ground, Pipa’s eyes widened as he saw four Namekian priests. Each of them was wearing a white cowl over their heads with flowing white robes, their skin a shade of drab olive green and showing signs of withering age. In the center of these four Dragon Clansman, was another Namekian that looked similar to Scargot, although slightly younger. Both Pipa and Scargot were heading towards a collision with the Namekian in the center.
If they collided, both Scargot and Pipa would merge into this third body as if they were ghosts. The memory of Scargot cleansing himself of evil, and the priests of the Dragon Clan banishing Pipa into a void prison would be played out again within the dream.

The Namekian as going to let go, he was angry and Scargot’ words were just making him more violent, Scargot didn’t know if he was truly in danger as this was still only a dream but still not wanting to take the chance to grabbed onto the Namekian’ wrist harder but still to no avail. Before Scargot could stop him the black Namekian threw Scargot across the plan that is Namek, Scargot tried with all his might to stop himself from flying back the Namekian’ strength was higher than he had expected.
Whilst flying through the air Scargot tried to open his eyes and see where he was going but couldn’t manage to open them very much but the little amount he could, he could tell he wasn’t going anywhere… Well he was but the scene that the dream had placed him in wasn’t moving, suddenly to Scargot surprise as he began to get used to flying through the air he noticed something on the ground. It seemed awfully familiar to him, as if… Yes it was the day in which the two separated and, the day that Scargot casted out all the evil within his body.
He looked up to see his evil half flying towards him with evil in his eyes as if he was going to try and kill Scargot in the air. Scargot did all he could to grab the Namekian’ foot as the two fell towards the group if he was going to crash into the ground the evil was going to come with him. As the two got closer to the ground, Scargot could tell that the strange evil part of him was worried about them hitting the group. Suddenly before hitting the ground Scargot felt different and before he knew it he was reliving the time when he dispelled the evil from his body and became pure.
“Are you ready Scargot, this is going to put a lot of strain onto you but it will be worth it to become pure.” The voice came from the Dragon Clan Elder who stood in front of him, his hands behind his back as he observed Scargot in his training.
“I can do this, I want to be pure. It is my destiny to become the Guardian of Planet Earth!” Scargot shouted as began to the ritual to fission himself and rid himself of the evil within. As Scargot got into position two of the elders stood on opposite sides of him with one to his left and one to his right, both of them outstretched their arms and faced Scargot. The two elders used their Ki to inflict pain onto Scargot, this pain wasn’t anything physical but it was a pain inflicted inside of his body. This caused Scargot cry out in pain, he needed to be strong enough to overcome the pain and use it to expel his inner demons.
Even as a ghost reliving this moment Scargot could feel the intense pain that he was going through as if it was happening to him again. A blue aura began to form around Scargot as his screams got louder and louder, he as trying to channel his Ki to the points of infliction and use them to amplify his strength and outcast the evil.
Suddenly from out of Scargot’ back, feeling as if it was being ripped out of his spine a black shadow was slowly rising with eyes of red. As the shadow came out of his back the third elder was behind Scargot channelling his Ki and readying himself to capture the beast before it could escape and go out on its own.
The screams of pain were slowly dying down as the last bits of the shadow stepped out of Scargot’ back, the elder standing in front of Scargot stood in silence awaiting the boy to finish the job and complete the ritual that only few Namekian’ can achieve. As soon as the shadow was whole and out of Scargot’ body the Elder behind him shot out a beam of energy that surrounded the shadow and putting it into a yellow cage with no openings. Once this was done, Scargot fell to his knees with tears falling from his face but they weren’t tears of pain they were tears of joy as the feeling that overcame Scargot was like something he had never felt before. There was no evil thoughts, no little voice in his head telling him to do things that he knew wasn’t right everything felt good and it was as if he was a whole new person.
He got up and looked into the cage to see what had just taking all the training, trials and suffering to expel from his body and to his surprise the being that was inside the cage was something he had never thought he would see. The being in the cage looked almost identical to Scargot in every single way as if it was him, before he could do anything about it the Elder who had done nothing until now let out a small yell. Scargot turned around to see what looked like a void, inside the void was pitch black and nothing else but before he could ask any questions the Elders used their Ki to move the being of evil that had been removed from Scargot and threw it into the void.
With that the scene began to disappear and all that was left was Scargot and the Black Namekian standing across from each other, Scargot looked into the eyes of the thing that once came from his very body. “That was you wasn’t it, you were the thing that I trained every single day for half of my life to expel from my body. How did you find me?”

"If anything I would cast you out, you seem weak and pathetic. I wouldn't want anything to do with you!" |
Pipa watched the images of a spirit being ripped from the body of the young Dragon Priest. Something about it seemed to cause the demon to shudder, especially as the elder priests began performing some sort of ritual on the spirit he was seeing erupting from the body of Scargot. As he saw the small portal to the void opening, it felt even more real to him. He could almost remember this, the feeling of a vacuum tugging at his sole and rushing him into a dark void.
As the scene faded away and Pipa watched as the creatures sealing had been completed, he folded his arms together and smirked at the Namekian before him. Of course the Namekian had thought of things this way, he needed to justify his existence after all. Pipa was clearly the stronger of the two. Just because they looked similar didn't mean anything either. This humble dream version of himself was merely a game that his mind was playing as he tried to sleep.
"Hmph, even if I believe you had somehow been born from me, you've definitely got the story twisted," Pipa said laughing at his own words, subconsciously nervously twitching his fingers on his left hand.
"If anything I would cast you out, you seem weak and pathetic. I wouldn't want anything to do with you!" the demon yelled as his smile quickly snapped into an angry visage.
"But it doesn't matter because you are nothing but a figment, an illusion, a lie. This is all just nonsense." Pipa growled.
Pipa's entire body began to swell up, as if it were bubbling beneath the skin. Soon, his limbs and torso began to crack, and then rapidly expanded. After only five seconds Pipa stood at ten times his normal size, towering over the dragon clansman.
The terrain began to shift. It was a small ruined city, with smashed metals and scorrched earth marking the ruins of the tiny village at the base of a mountain. It no longer appeared to be of a Namekian nature, but of a side of earth that Scargot would likely not have any recollection of.
"This dream needs to end, or have less of you in it!" Pipa yelled. |

Scargot listened to the being of evil that stood in front of him, Scargot could tell that the being wasn't happy with the outcome of the ritual but if he could go back and do it again he would. Since becoming pure Scargot had felt enlightened and his role as Guardian of Earth was ever so much closer. Pipa began to smirk and cross his arms at the situation that had just unfolded before their very eyes, he then began to spout nonsense about how he would cast Scargot out because he is the stronger of the two and that may have been true but Scargot knew that he in the long run he would prevail even if it meant they would need to meet and fight in the real world.
Scargot smirked at the beings comment saying that Scargot was an illusion as this cemented his knowledge in knowing that the two of them were dreaming separately but they had some how been brought to the same world, it was fate that they met today and Scargot would not be surprised if it was the last time they would meet. Before Scargot could finish his thought the being began to grow and it seemed as though his bones began to break and his entire body grew and towered of Scargot as if it was truly a demon.
Suddenly as he shifted the terrain around them began to shift and Scargot found himself in a ruined town at the base of some sort of mountain, the ground around them made Scargot think this wasn't Namek but where could they be? Could this be Earth or another planet maybe a planet that the evil being was sent to once it escaped the void... If it somehow did escape the void.
"This dream needs to end, or have less of you in it!" The being yelled at Scargot who bowed his head and smiled, Scargot was truly scared of the being but Scargot knew one thing that this being may not have known.
"If I die, you die too. We are two sides of the same rock, we are one being when brought together and we are two halves of a being when we are apart. Even if you don't believe it you are a part of me, something you can never get rid of." Scargot said sharply looking up at the being staring him right in the big green eyes. It was one of the reasons the elders threw him into the void instead of destroying the evil that came out of him.
"Even if this is only a dream, we don't know if the repercussion will affect our bodies in the real world. Do you want to take that chance?" Scargot was ready to die if it meant that this evil never set foot onto Earth and caused no one trouble ever again.

“Just be glad that this is all a figment... I would squash you like a bug!” |
What a dream, Pipa thought to himself. This entity in his dream trying to convince Pipa that he wasn’t a whole being by himself and that they were eternally linked. It was all his minds playing tricks on him anyways, some sort of doubt brought on by the damned wizard who had brought him hear who had claimed he was a Namekian. This was simply a figment, nothing more.
“Scargot… what an amusing little tale you have told me, but you’re nothing more than a dream, no doubt brought on by trying to understand the logic of these sniveling humans. They always have some reason they shouldn’t be killed, some excuse,” Pipa growled as he looked down on the insignificant speck, revealing that he knew of humanity and further giving away his location by mistake. “Just be glad that this is all a figment... I would squash you like a bug!”
Pipa turned away from the Dragon Clansmen and began randomly smashing objects within the ruins of the dream. Littered about were things that made it seem more clearly like it must be earth: vehicles, human dolls, and skeletal remains that matched those of a human beings.
“I am Pipa, there is no Scargot! I have always been, and always shall be!” the Namekian yelled as he stomped his foot into a stone building, collapsing it effortlessly into a pile of rubble.

Scargot watched as the giant black Namekian denied everything but Scargot could tell by the fact that he didn't continue to try and destroy him. That deep down Pipa believed everything, but he was just too arrogant and his pride was too much too allow him to believe he was only half of something whole. Scargot began to laugh at how his evil half was reacting he really was the exact opposite and all the evilness that was inside him.
The giant, after being certain that Scargot was just a dream began to demolish the what seemed be abandoned city in which they were brought to. "If I am just a dream, what memories do you have from before you came to Earth. If you are really here, how did you get here and if I find you I will do everything in my power to bring you down."
Scargot' threats were not completely empty he knew he had allies who were able to help him if Pipa did start acting up on his new home.

"This was my beggining, an eternity of abyss. Nothing more," |
"If I am just a dream, what memories do you have from before you came to Earth." the Namekian said to Pipa.
In anger the demon turned his head back towards the duplicate. He barred his teeth at Scargot as he moved towards him in his gigantic form. He stopped and opened up his mouth.
"Grrraaaaaaa!" Pipa yelled as a black substance began pouring out of his mouth like a swarm of disgusting flies. it seemed to seep towards the ground like a dark mist, and looked like a dark cloud. If Scargot looked closely enough, he would see this gigantic black cloud had a wispy structure to it. It had bright green eyes and an almost aquatic looking form to it as it rushed towards Scargot.
Rather than strike him, the cloud wraped around him and darkness surrounded him. The only thing that popped out of the total darkness was a pair of florescent green eyes. The brightness of the green eyes illuminated Scargot, and the thick dark mist around him.
"This was my beggining, an eternity of abyss. Nothing more," a voice echoed, it sounded strange as if it were layered by several other voices. It was distinctly that of Pipa's but sounded much more ghostly.
