Universe Five always had so much edge, and Universe Ten had a few weirdos.
Weirdo versues edge? That was bound to be interesting. Capper shrugged, clearing his throat.
"In the Middle League we have Collan and Jala battling in Round One, Arena Three!"
ROUND ONE of the Minor League's Multiversal Tournament has begun! Player Versus Player Matches have a set 48 hour timer for posts. Failing to post in time will result in disqualification. After ten days pass (*10 minutes IC), if a knockout, ring out, and so on is not accomplished, judges will decide a winner. Without further adieu, get to punching each other. |

Jala ran, hearing her name called. “Shit, Shit, SHIT!” She screams, not wanting to be late. “Hm? Oh your Jala. Your match-GAH!” the Vargas yells as Jala grabs the Vargas, yanking him along. “Which way do I go, Bird Man!?” she yells.
The Vargas stutters out the direction as she puts him aside and runs that way, running into the arena. “Whew! Made it on time!” She looks around for her opponent curiously. She knew transformation wouldn't be helpful, so that's out of the door… But they'd be a cool spectacle piece. “So guess my opponent isn't here yet… Tch. I'm ready now... Hopefully that guy isn't late like me.” She muttered, tapping her foot, waiting.

From out of a corner in shadows, Collan stepped forward as he heard his name be called from the announcer that who he recalled being named, Capper. "Time to see exactly how much I've grown." Flying to the arena and putting his footing on the small planet like battle field, he stared right at his opponent known as Jala. "Well...I may not know you, and you don't seem too bad, hell I'm sure we could be friends in another situation, but let's get one thing straight. Unlike you...I HAVE to win this tournament." With that, Collan took a fighting stance, spreading his legs while holding one open palm out and his other arm having a fist behind his back. The white haired wonder's red aura burst around him, it was obvious he didn't want to spend too much time on talking. "I hope you understand."

“Hm, you look familiar… Oh well.” she shrugs seeing the man named Collan come out. She was getting eager to fight, as a smile grew on her face. ”Kinda wanted you to come a little later, ‘cause then I coulda grabbed another drink. Damn it. Well, hey. So, before we start beating the shit outta each other, what’s your wish gonna be? Just a curious thought. If it’s good, then I’ll make sure to wish for it for you. Because there’s no way I’m losing the first round!”
Jala yells this and decides to show off; so she channels her ki, focusing it and bursting into Super Saiya-jin, the golden hair flowing through the air. “Ha! Not bad? That’s funny. I mean, I’m not as bad as that piece of scum Bing… But I’m not good.” Jala said, smiling, and shifts into fighting stance, her body loosely hanging.
She seems like she doesn’t have a care in the world. She begins to charge her ki up, she wasn’t sure what yet, but she wanted to be ready. “Well, I hope you’ll actually talk in this fight. I’m not much on the whole, silent thing.” Jala said, shooting a couple of ki blasts at Collan.

Collan simply frowned as Jala continued to talk, watching as she transformed into a Super Saiyan. "Really? Transforming in a fight where it doesn't help?" He wasn't too impressed with her form, and stood as her attacks flew right at him. He'd hold up his arms right in front of him, block the blasts heading his way, smoke burst in front of him. After this, he'd fly right in front of his opponent, firing a white beam aimed directly at her face. He wanted to try and get this done as quickly as possible, this girl was getting on his nerves.

Jala watched the ki blasts hit there mark, and yelled, "It's for the audience. It's exciting to see someone transform!" She wondered how the man would respond... Well, she got what she wanted as a beam raced forward. It blinded her a little, making her lose her charge. “Ahhh! God DAMN! Fucking hell!” she yells, using her training to dance around the technique, with annoyance.
“Damn, your trying to kill… Fine then. Your now my target.” she said, giving Collan a cold look, aiming her hand at him and yelling out, shooting out a condensed blade of ki from her as it sailed at his jugular. He was gonna have to dodge, no way around it. “Tch, I don’t like to kill, but this is the hand your forcing.” she said, wanting it to find it’s mark and end this.

As his blast made its mark, Collan showed no emotion, he just waited as Jala talked about how now she was going to kill him. Hey, at least she was trying harder now. With that, the white haired wonder would floating back a bit to gain some distance as the beam followed, holding out both hands to take the attack head on. "HAAAAAA!" He shouted at the top of his lungs, smoke filled the area once more after the impact of the blast, Collan standing with bruises and some bleeding from his hands as it cleared. He sighed, putting his arms to the side. "So...that's it huh?"
Collan's red aura began to surround his entire body. "This pain you're inflicted on me is nothing." The aura then slowly went to purple, with small hints of white dots. "I've experienced worse...much worse, as pain is just something I've gotten much used to after dying, seeing the massacres that I have. No one lives...and after that attack you've demonstrated..." His aura gave a heavy burst, Collan just staring straight at Jala. "Neither will you."
And so, he'd fly back across the planet and around, attempting to punch Jala straight in the back and then grab her by the waist. If he were to succeed, then he'd follow up by suplexing the Saiyan right into the Katchin arena.

She was surprised and grinning when the ki blade didn’t kill. She wanted this fight to continue and but also wanted to end it, not wanting to drag it on She could feel anger inside, bubbling. She wanted to release it, but it’d do no good for one, and for two, as much as she liked it… She was terrified of it.
“Hm, surprised. Thought it’d do more or ya’d have ta dodge.” she said. “Yea, that’s it. It’s not special.” she continued, frowning. Jala didn’t like people dissing her attacks, it made her annoyed. “Ohhhh yes! Let the edge flow through you! Join the edge side!” Jala said, with a laugh. This guy needs to be more jovial. Like seriously, lax up. “... Jeez, I was kidding about the edge." the young woman said, getting major edge levels off him; as if oozing from him.
She watched as he flied around the arena, so she just landed, waiting. She turned to him, knowing he’d be coming only one way and threw her arms up, blocking it and sliding back a few feet, and was grabbed by the waist. “HEY! Watch your hands! You don’t touch a lady like, THAT!” she roars out, powering her body, inflating it with ki to buff up the muscles, firmly making sure she didn’t get thrown that instance.
When she screams out the last part, it seems, very different for her jovial self, the carefree side of her. More, animalistic.
After inflating her body up to look like one of those overly ripped guys at the gym, she would attempt to break out of the grip, firing ki blasts at him as she jumped back, going back to her more slender body size of her Mastered Super Saiya-jin. If it didn’t work, she bring her hands up and give him a good ole’ hammer fist to the head.

Collan smirked when he was able to grab the Saiyan, ready to flip her over, but looked in shock when she bulked up. His enemy quickly got out of his grasps, firing two Ki blasts at her that he'd knock away. After getting them out of his site though, he'd be met with the site of Jala standing above him and ready to slam down on him, as he quickly caught her fists and wish a quick push moved them out of the way and he'd jump over her. "Okay, I don't know WHAT that is but you should stop that right now!" He'd try and sweep kick his opponent and get them off their balance, throwing a punch in attempt to send them flying off the small arena planet if possible.

Jala was getting bit worried, due to time starting to run out. 10 minutes is wayyyy to short to her, left no time to do anything remotely fun. “Sorry man, but I’m gonna have to end this soon. You were pretty cool and I learned somethings from ya.” she said, now dropping out of Super Saiya-jin.
"Stop what!?" she'd yell, confused. She had no idea what he was talking about.
The Saiya-jin was surprised when he caught her fist and jumped over her. She tried to spin around to face him, but she was knocked off her feet. Jala was prepared however when he tried to punch her. She slowed her fall, making her slowly fly down as she parred the punch with her right arm, pushing it to the left of her, making it harder for him to retaliate with a punch, or so she would hope.
Jala made a finger gun and pointed it at Collan’s groin, firing rapid finger beams at it. She'd then spin around, kicking toward the left of Collan and firing a blast at the hybrid, hoping for him to catch him off guard. If it worked or if it didn’t, Jala’d jump away, shifting back to her stance, lightly jumping in place while hanging her body loosely.

Collan looked in annoyance when Jala knocked away his blow, firing a few attack at his lower region. He'd hold up a leg to take the blows instead of the aimed spot, showing a bit of pain in his face, getting kicked which sent him back with another blast following him. He'd stop himself mid air and quickly dodge the attack, watching it fly off. He then slowly turned to Jala, looking just a little pissed. Throughout this match, very little of what he'd done had been effective. "Alright...yeah, it is about time this ends, I told you before and I'll tell you again now...Unlike you, I HAVE HAVE TO WIN!" He shouted at the top of his lungs, red energy enveloping his hands completely, rushing towards Jala and throwing a flurry of unrelenting punches.
If he were to land his attacks, the white haired wonder would attempt to follow up with a blast in her chest to knock her away, throwing other Ki blast to chase after her.

“You look pissed. Must be from you doing nothing to me. Well, sorry… You WON’T win. You can’t win… I won’t lose…” Jala said, twitching as she snarled the last response. She seem’s to be angry, angry at the thought of even losing. Her hair flares a little, electricity flaring a sec before stopping. The same animalistic snarl as before resurfaced.
Jala would begin to charge up, ready to counter what he throws. “C’mon! Show me your strength. Show me!” Jala roars, rushing at him and sending a flurry of punches to meet his, a couple of the punches going through at hitting her.
She’d parry the beam with a ki blade and push herself out of the way. Darting away, she’d use her tail to push her upward up and over the ki blasts to deliver a good punch to the face to him, exploding a hidden ki blast in her hand upon contact. “Stay still please~!”

Collan's face filled with rage as Jala countered his hits, the Ki in his hands growing more powerful as the exchange of blows went on. He gave a look of very twisted delight as some of his punches landed though, but looked unpleased seeing his blast was dodged, looking up towards Jala trying to punch him. Collan quickly jumped back away from the attack, though the explosive attack from his opponent caught him a bit off guard, adding more bruises to his body. The white haired wonder kept things up though, persevering through pure rage along, and came out of the smoke to try and grab Jala by the face and use his free hand to punch her in the gut. Hoping that if he were to pull this off, he'd toss her away and try to throw another blast at her.

Jala grinned, her blood boiling in excitement as the blast hit him, or so she thought. She saw him jump through smoke and he grab her by the face to which, she grinned wildly, obviously enjoying the fight. She’d catch the punch to her gut, to which, she’d shine a toothy grin, and a literal shine could be seen from behind her teeth as she opened them and fired a beam at point blank directly at her opponent’s face.
If he was still grabbing onto her, she’d reach up and attempt to grab and snap his arm, directly where the joint is and just kick away. If he did let her go already, she’d still move back, her body glowing as she charged. “If I didn’t know better, I’d say your a Saiya-jin!” she’d yelled, laughing as Jala prepared and fired a blast to match his, not wanting him to gain an advantage over her.

The white haired wonder looked at Jala who had caught his first attack, though thankfully he chucked her anyways before she was able to do anything else. Though taking his attention away from her, he looked down at his hands, full of energy. He then turned back to his opponent and whispered to himself, "Perfect." Collan would then aim two open palms right at Jala, ready to fire his attack. "This match ends here! VICTORY IS MINE!" With that, a large volley of Ki blasts would be fired, heading right for her, and as one last good measure, he'd pull back one hand and fire his signature red beam the Sinjin as well.
