Callion watched as Pota got back up, seemingly motivated by his words. His smile only grew as Pota struck back against his father though it faded once Pota’s brother deflected the blast.
Callion watched the exchange the three men with bated breath, silently praying for Pota’s safety the whole while. He wasn't sure who he was praying to, but it certainly made him feel a bit better. After leaving Callion with a warning regarding his father, Pota and his brother flew off. Watching the two figures disappear into the sky, Callion’s stare was solemn.
Please be careful, my friend.
His gaze then shifted back to the man who claimed to be Pota’ father, though his actions so far certainly weren’t supporting his claim. The younger warrior’s gaze was steely and collected. His red undershirt the only thing covering his chest, he entered a defensive stance, remaining silent as he could in case the man attempted anything violent in nature.
He remained silent, simply staring the older man down with steely and cold eyes. The comment regarding his father Courge didn’t seem to faze him in the slightest. Callion had been victim to men like Pota’s father all his life. Arrogant blowhards who liked to talk while bullying others. Kassava, his son from the academy, even his father. However, those prior to Pota’s father hadn’t pierced his thick skin, and this one wouldn’t either.
Callion’s mind began to work out defensive strategies he could implement in order to ensure that Pota wouldn’t return to find a new friend dead at the hands of his tormentor. Men like the kind of man Pota’s father seemed to be enjoyed talking while they fought, and were prone to getting easily misdirected if prodded correctly.
The more Callion analyzed Pota’s father’s behavior, the more Callion saw he had in common with Kassava, the only difference so far was that Pota’s father seemed to be less willing to get his hands dirty.
Callion suddenly recalled his first encounter on Earth.A distant memory for sure, but slowly it became clearer. An Arcosian who he had ticked off by being too smart-mouthed. That encounter had not ended well for Callion. It had taught him that talking during a fight was an unnecessary practice that only took away from the thinking one could use for planning out their attack and defense. Callion no longer engaged in that practice, even during training bouts with...himself. Callion grinned mentally as an idea began to form in his mind.

Tato cocked his head to the side questioningly. "Hmm? Nothing to say about dear old dad?" Tato stroked his thick jet black goatee and walked over to a nearby stump and sat down wrapping his tail around him. As he looked back up at Callion he would spread a devious smile across his face. "Then lets talk about something else. Well, someone else...Lets talk about Kassava." Tato would wait for Callion to respond to this little bit of dialogue before letting on what he knew of Callion. But he would continue to poke the Saiyan's old wounds. The elder Saiyan was a warrior there was no question there. But he had a knack for political and social manipulation...and cruelty. His relationship with his sons' was evidence of that.
"Yes I do believe that is an interesting subject. About how the great Scourge and his wife were slaughtered after Kassava discovered found out about their plot to organize a coup against the SSE." Tato would then reach over behind him where he was sitting plucking an apple from a nearby apple tree. Taking a bite out of it and raising his eyebrows as in feigned delight at the fruit. "As a matter of fact he was given a hero's funeral after he was killed by the traitors' son. That being you of course." He would smile mockingly at Callion while waiting for his response.

Callion’s gaze remained level with Pota’s father, his mouth not even twitching at any mention of his family.
Planned to perform a coup indeed. My father couldn’t lie to Mother about going out drinking, much less betraying the SSE.
Even if that were true, Callion had no love for the empire, nor did he care what Pota insinuated about his father’s allegiance.
Callion inwardly grinned at the thought of his father trying to keep a secret. The man would’ve told the first person he had met on the street his idea, even if that person was the Queen herself. While his father’s idiocy had annoyed and embarrassed him as a child, now he viewed his father as a loveable buffoon.
Callion knew the truth his parents’ deaths. They were only murdered because Callion had wounded Kassava’s pride by assaulting his only son. and while it made rage bubble in his heart, he wouldn’t give Pota’s father the satisfaction of getting a rise out of him like he had his own son.

Tato stood there impressed so far most Saiyans he had met would've attempted to throttle him. But Callion stood there stoic as ever. He nodded knowingly and took another bite of the apple before hearing a explosion in the distance as a flash of blue glowed over the tree tops. "Hmm so they've started already then. That didn't take long. But excuse me..." Would give a chuckle of amusement. "We were talking about you. Now where was I?... He scratched his beard in insincere effort to think up what he already knew. "Oh yes That's right what if I told you that not only did I lie to the authorities about your guilt but even helped Kassava in the glorious slaughter of you're useless lower class scum that you called parents." Tato would smile and shine a toothy smile at Callion like one would see in an animal. A hungry sadistic animal.
"Oh yes I heard about your father's plan and it was the perfect chance to gain favor with Kassava. I get status and he got revenge for his son even his brat was weaker than your pathetic father." Tato laughed hysterically at the memory. "You're father was a easy to kill hell I did that part. And do you wanna know something he bled like a pig when I ran him through. For a Master Swordsman he was certaily easy to beat at sword play. Must have not been very good at it." He smiled sadistically at Callion. "But you're sweet mother was a different matter." Tato would say pausing for effect closing his eyes as if imagining he was there again.
"Your Mom was a cheeky little bitch. She had hid her power from everyone Kassava had to do that part. And let me tell you kid..." He opened his eyes and gave Callion a glare that could and smile that could go right through you. "We made her scream real nice!!" Tato would growl and bare his animalistic teeth at Callion.

Callion’s black eyes whipped to the horizon as the sound of an explosion filled the air. Noting the blue energy, Callion worried for his new friend.
Please be alright, Mr. Pota. I wish to see you again so we can eat meat and talk around a campfire. Hey, that does sound fun.
Putting aside the fun idea for a pastime with his new friend, Callion’s gaze went back to Pota’s father. Disgust filled the younger Saiyan with the sight of the awful man who had done nothing but antagonize and belittle his friend. That was ignoring the lies he spat about Callion’s family.
Callion’s right fist clenched tighter as Pota’s father claimed to have help murder his parents. The man went on and on relishing in the narrative he was creating. While he prattled on, Callion recalled the sight of his parents’ corpses. His mother and father decapitated and scattered into pieces. The memory made his stomach queasy and his heart heavy.
I cannot think about this right now.
Callion put the thoughts away and refocused on the predator’s grin of Pota’s father. Normally any other warrior would have already started bashing the man’s head against the ground, but Callion had long ago mastered the art of keeping his emotions in check. The man’s paper-thin lies and deriding comments about his parents bounced off of the young warrior’s steely resolve to not let the slimeball get underneath his skin. However, Callion decided to use this time to distract his opponent, as Pota’s father was failing to do to him.
“Question,” Callion began his voice even and lacking any emotion, “if you assisted in the murder of my parents, then why were you not present for my bout with Kassava? Also, why did the two of you not wait in my home to murder me? Surely that would have provided a much more superior tactical advantage given the element of surprise.“
Callion knew full well why the two of them hadn’t waited to ambush him. A Saiyan who snuck up on someone was a coward, and Saiyans who couldn’t beat an opponent by themselves were weak. The race’s prideful mentality created some rather lacking tactical knowledge, though now this was working in Callion’s favor.

Tato looked at Callion as he questioned why he and Kassava didn't ambush him in his home or fight him together. He smiled his predator like smile and threw the core of the apple he was eating into the nearby lake. Seeing as how words weren't going to get Callion to lose his temper Tato's demeanor took on a more calm aspect. "That was Kassava's idea. 'I want the boy for myself.' He said. 'I killed his mother and she was as strong as me.' He said. Then he went and got himself killed before being able to use his position as an Elite to talk me up." Tato would run his hands through his thick dark hair and stand up.
"Well enough of the bedtime stories." The elder Saiyan would smile his devilish smile. "Time to go night night." No sooner had he said this his scouter beeped and pointed to his flank indicating a small power level coming up on him. He turned to see old George with a fresh burn mark on his left eye coming at him with his gigantic tail attempting to knock the Saiyan into dust. Old George didn't like anybody disturbing his lake and when Tato a complete stranger threw his apple core into it. That pissed him right off. The Saiyan however calmly held out a palm and in a flash of light sent old George into the afterlife in a cloud of dust.
"Annoying reptile Earth has such weak creatures it makes me sick." He would blink behind Callion and with a growl he would say. "But enough about me let's kill you." As he spun on his left foot and used his momentum to deliver a spin kick to Callion's back. If this hit he would blink to where he flew next to deliver a punch to his gut and slam him into the ground.

Callion heard the man’s answer and chuckled inwardly.
Kassava really was a fool, and this man is hardly any smarter.
Then the man stood up, and Callion was on edge. He wasn’t concerned about whether or not he could defeat the man. He hadn’t planned on trying that. This was Mr. Pota’s monster to slay. No, Callion was concerned with whether or not he would get killed trying to dodge and defend himself from this man’s attacks.
Suddenly, the alligator that had bitten Mr. Pota had risen out of the small lake, and tried accosting the man.
Callion felt a wave of dread wash over him.
Oh no.
The young warrior’s fears were realized as Pota’s father annihilated the lizard with a simple energy blast.
No...Mr. Pota is going to be so upset.
Callion only just had time to think that, before the voice of Pota’s father came from behind him. Callion barely in a flash, just in time to barley block a kick. The force still sent him back, but not as far as the older man had anticipated. Callion skidded to a stop, and turned in time to see the man reappear and deliver a punch to the empty air, which Callion quickly capitalized on.
Quickly jetting off of the ground, Callion flew into the air! As he ascended, he crossed his arms, his form suddenly dividing into two Callions, both of which began to fly in opposite directions!
This is fine. If I split up like this, he can only attack one of us, and it does not really matter which one he chooses since the other will just return to the other’s body and restore the now divided energy once destroyed. I am simply trying to stall him. While he is fast, he is not very bright. If you are going to kick someone from behind, you should not say something before doing it.
In the back of his mind, Callion A wondered how Mr. Pota was faring against his brother. Concern for his friend distracted the young warrior, leaving him unfocused on any approaching danger.

Tato gazed at the two Callions as they split from the same being. He looked at one then he looked at the other before giving a sigh of exasperation and lifting both his arms at both Callions with two black energy spheres appeared in his palms. The spheres grew larger and larger before reaching the size of basket balls. As the Black orbs crackled with electric energy he would smile cruelly before giving them one last chunk of energy making them grow slightly larger. "Let's see you dodge this boy." He would give out a loud battle cry before shouting the name of his signature attack.
"Void Sphere Barrage!!" Tato released the two attacks at Callion closing the distance. The spheres would scream toward both Callions at high speeds threatening to banish him to the void as was their name sake. Should they miss Callion would find a disturbing fact about Pota's father's attack. One that Pota himself had learned the hard way in one of his more brutal training lessons. The thing was Tato use his ki to make these orbs track their target's ki signature. Pota learned this from attempting to hide behind cover thinking it would crash against the rock he was ducking behind and not hit him.
However it went around and struck the young Pota in the chest. That was when he was 7 it was his first Zenkai boost as he had to be brought back from the brink of death. And now that same attack threatened his friend. Thankfully Pota's fight with his brother had just came to an end and he could sense his father's attack being launched. "Oh Kami!! No!! Callion doesn't stand a chance against that!!" Pota prayed he was wrong but he didn't stay to find out as he rushed back to his hideout to save his friend. 'Hang in there Callion I'm coming!' He would say in his head before rocketing over the trees.

Callion A was snapped back into focus, just in time to hear Pota's father shout his attack. Callion A’s eyes whipped over to the man as he prepared two massive balls of black of energy. Callion B also caught site of this, picking up his pace. Callion A in the meantime, began to formulate a plan, as he was reasonably sure, Pota’s father wasn’t stupid enough to just launch two blasts of energy and hoped they hit him.
As the older man launched his attack, both Callions began flying straight up, no longer making more distance between each other, the spheres followed after, proving Callion’s earlier hypothesis.
Callions A and B looked at each other before Callion B nodded and shut his eyes slowly fizzling out of existence. The second sphere of energy suddenly changed course, now working to make up the distance of the still moving Callion.
Said warrior was now maneuvering through the air like a fighter jet, carefully turning and dodging the approaching orbs, before turning around and flying at the orbs. The second orb had caught up, and as a result, the two orbs were converging on his location, before he quickly dropped his power level to one, and stopped flying, quickly dropping in elevation, before powering up again.
The orbs, which had continued forward, suddenly turned and followed after Callion. The young warrior was rapidly flying toward Pota’s father, a determined look in his eyes. To the untrained eye, he simply planned to dodge to the side and let the orbs slam into the older man, but Callion’s plan went much further than that.
As he drew closer to Pota’s tormentor, he quickly used a technique he had picked up to create a still moving image of himself flying, while the real Callion had once again dropped his power level to one and was currently hiding behind a scorched tree on the outer rim of the clearing.
He watched to see if his plan would succeed, keeping a close eye on his cruel foe. After Image Technique Used! [KP 2/3]! Ki Suppression used twice, but PL is now 1!

Tato watched as the Saiyan rocketed around trying to get away from the energy blasts that he had shot at him. Just then the Saiyan's signature went to 1 and he fell away from the orbs then raised it back to his previous height and charging straight towards him with the orbs close behind. 'So he figured it out did he, hmm smart one looks like he's trying to use my own attack against me too.' Thought Tato as he gathered a large amount of black ki in his arms up to his elbows similar to the ki he used for the orbs. As he waited for Callion to come within striking distance he prepared himself for what he knew was going to happen.
Callion then disappeared from sight and the orbs screamed towards Tato just before making contact he looked up with a glare. "Predictable." He slapped the two orbs aside as they shot over the trees and into the horizon exploding in a large black dome of energy they could see even this far away. The elder Saiyan would look around for Callion. "Trust me brat better men than you have tried and failed to kill me. That little trick of your's has been tried in so many ways it bores me." Just then a figure would jump out of the trees and fly into Tato delivering a punch filled with green fiery ki that made his arm look like it had caught aflame. As the fist collided with Tato's face a look of surprise and familiarity would appear on it as a single thought crossed his mind. 'Oh fuck my life.'
"Star Buster STRIKE!!" Pota would yell as he threw his father into a nearby tree. He had won his fight with his brother but his gi was torn around the left side of his chest and his forehead was covered in blood not entirely his own along with a few additional scrapes and bruises to boot. Pota's eyes however never left his father and with a look of pure Saiyan rage he would stomp up to him each step shaking the very ground. With his arm still enveloped with ki he would approach his father. There was something different about Pota he no longer seemed to be in control of himself his shook with anger and his eyes seemed to have rolled into the back of his head leaving his eyes pure white with some bloodshot to them from the anger.
Pota reached his father and picked him up by the collar of his shirt. "YOU BASTARD!!" Pota yelled as he punched Tato square in the jaw. "YOU SLIMY!!" Pota would punch him in the stomach forcing up blood and spittle. "FUCKING!!" Pota then kneed him in the stomach. "UNFORGIVABLE SCUMBAAAAAAAAAAG!!" The young Saiyan's energy would erupt from his body like a fire storm. As Tato's scouter went crazy.
'That's impossible his power is rising from the anger alone what happened with Onio to cause this?!' Pota would slam Tato back and forth on the ground lifting him in arc above his again and again before letting him lay on the ground for a moment before picking him up by his face grabbing him tightly around his jaw. Before growling a single word unable to focus verbally through all the rage.
"Tato! Tato! TATO!!" He would roar before flying towards a tree and slamming his head into it. After the onslaught Pota's eyes would return to normal and he would walk weakly over to a grouping of trees where he thought he sensed a small energy hoping it was Callion. He would then begin to collapse from exhaustion. But catch himself on one knee and look behind him. "Get up you snake I know you're not done yet." As Pota said so Tato would remove himself from the tree he was embedded in and smile with bruises and scrapes of his own now on his body.
"Wow Son that was impressive for a second there you were actually more powerful than me. But it seems that your body isn't ready for that kind of exertion yet." He would shrug and give a snide smile. "Maybe someday though."
"I...am not...YOUR SON!! No...NO FATHER WORTH HIS SALT WOULD TORTURE HIS OWN BLOOD!!!"

Callion cursed quietly under his breath as Pota’s father smacked aside the spheres of black energy. His arm still throbbed from the earlier, kick he had blocked.
Well I figured that would not work, but what now? There is no way he would be foolish enough to attack like that again. He is much faster than I am, but not very much smarter. I have no idea how much longer Mr. Pota is going t-
Callion’s train of thought was shattered as the very friend he was thinking about exploded onto the scene, delivering a devastating hook to his father’s jaw. Relief washed over Callion, who just now realized that he was shaking with fear.
Wait.
Callion’s eyes narrowed as he began to study Mr. Pota’s features. He noted the shaking of the ground, the burnt branches of the tree shaking with each of his friend’s steps.
No.
Pure rage was evident in Pota’s eyes and Callion was instantly transported back to almost a year ago. His parents freshly murdered, a conversation with the killer, then...red. Rage flooding his mind and vision. Then suddenly, the red cleared and all he saw was the dead and burned body of Kassava, and the inside of a space pod.
Empathy filled the young warrior when he realized what Pota was experiencing right now, and Callion knew better than to intervene. If he had, he would just be getting in the way of the emotional growth Pota was experiencing right. Some may call him a coward and for the most part that was true, but Callion wasn’t going to do his new friend a disservice.
The beating carried on, Pota treating his father like a ragdoll, thrashing him about with little to no effort. A sick part of Callion enjoyed watching it, but he kept that part of himself repressed. Eventually, all good had to come to an end. Pota’s rage and adrenaline couldn’t last forever. He watched as Pota fell to a knee, and made eye contact with him. Callion threw him a quick reassuring glance, before Pota said something that Callion couldn't quite make out what he was saying.
Suddenly, Tato uprooted himself from the tree he was slammed into, and began to once again taunt his own child. Callion’s rage began to bubble, as memories of his own father’s smile filled his mind. Then, Pota said something that Callion couldn’t help but agree with.
Callion shut his eyes for a moment, before opening them again, his expression determined. Suddenly, Callion took off into the air, not even bothering trying to be stealthy about it. Staring down at Tato, he would begin shouting.
“Hey! You! I must say, I am impressed. It takes a special kind of coward to bully children! Bad enough my friend down there, most likely did not have a very happy mother, given your appearance and general attitude, but now you are bothering him on his new adopted world? Well guess what, you cur! I am his friend, and as such I will not let you do as you please with him. So come up here, and face me! Or are you too much of a coward to try?”
Callion had no idea where all of these words were coming from, but all that mattered right now was helping his friend, and if that meant taking a beating, then so be it.

Tato smiled at both Pota as he mentioned his brother's literal torture at his hands. "Oh did Onio tell you about his interrogation training. Yes that was a particularly gritty part of his training." Just then Callion came up talking about how Tato was a coward for picking on children and how Pota's mother was not a happy woman due to Tato's appearance. Pota couldn't help but almost let out a snicker at this. Though whether this was fact or not he couldn't know for certain his mother was usually gone off on some planet fighting for the SSE. From what he could remember of his mother was she was firm but not cruel like his father. So in comparison to his Tato she was as gentle as Saiyan mother's came. But tougher than most Saiyan fathers in sparring.
Just then Pota had an idea noticing that for once Tato was merely angrily glaring at Callion for his comment. "That's right Tato how does it feel knowing the SSE values mom's opinion over your's?" Tato's glare shot to Pota. "Yeah when the Mazoku Dominion first showed up on the SSE's door who's council did our governor seek to bring to the royal Saiyan court your's...no MOM'S." Tato's fists tightened. "Who did grandpa, your father ask to join him on his last battle before old age overcame him? His son who beat children and groveled for political gain. No he hated you for that." Tato's eyes began to bulge with fury. "He took his daughter-in-law because he didn't want to die beside a coward like you!!" The ground around them began to rumble with the rage of the older Saiyan. "But you know the big reason why he took mom with him" The ground suddenly stopped rumbling like a calm before the storm. Pota held out his palm to his side charging a Nova Burst and gesturing for Callion to mix it in with one of his attacks preparing for Tato's anger from what he was about to say.
"Mom's stronger than you."
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!"
Tato would roar before holding out both his hands and shooting a black beam of energy crackling with lightning and screaming towards the two Saiyans threatening to engulf them in electricity and death.
OOC: Pota just pressed the Nion button.

Callion almost smiled as Pota explained further that Tato was as much as a failure as he thought he was. Then Callion noted his friend’s subtle hand gesture and gave a slight and quick nod.
Suddenly, Tato exploded out in rage, firing two beams of energy, which caused Callion to have an idea. Steeling his resolve, Callion brought up his arms and pooled some ki in front of himself creating a weak and small shield which served its purpose, making Callion’s injuries severe but not lethal. Letting out a genuine scream of pain as his body fell harshly and limp back to the ground with a thud. He lay there sprawled out, not breathing and his eyes shut. His undershirt was burned to shreds, though some tatters remained. His pants oddly enough were mostly unharmed. To the unobservant onlooker, Callion was dead.
In actuality, Callion had slowed his breathing in the hopes of appearing dead, while he began to put his plan into motion. A long time ago, in the hopes of pleasing his father, Callion had learned to emit two beams of concentrated and superheated ki from his eyes, like some sort of laser. This technique has proven useful time after time, so much so that Callion has worked on fully mastering it over the years, learning how to put out even more power. The practical applications of this technique were numerous. Most people didn’t expect someone to fire lasers from their eyes so there was a certain surprise factor involved. The fact that it could be charged behind closed eyes also helped immensely.
So while Callion lay there putting a lot of effort into looking dead, he began to charge his attack, hoping that Pota who he would hope would be rather upset that his friend was dead, would explode in anger like he had before. Perhaps his method was a bit manipulative and callous, but he was only trying to help his friend. Cruelty with a good intention, unlike what Tato indulged. The young warrior took a mental note to profusely apologize to his friend after this encounter if they both lived through it. Callion has begun to charge his Super Eye Laser! [100/500]

As Tato's attack closed in Pota began to think that maybe he had taunted his father a little too much and bit off more than he could chew. 'Oh shit my Nova Burst isn't charged just yet and I can't dodge that!' Just before the blast reached Pota Callion had put himself between him and the beam putting up a shielding technique in a failed attempt to stop it. The black energy cracked and zapped it's target and when it cleared it had appeared to do it's job as Callion's assumed lifeless body fell to the ground. Pota's memory flashed back when he did something similar for Callion just that day. The young Saiyan stared at his friend's charred body as his father huffed and puffed at his exertion.
"You see...there...boy...I'm gonna destroy everything you love. Your friends. Your allies. This Planet. I'll make you watch it all and then I'll make you die a slow death for disgracing our family for so many years." As he began charging another beam of energy Pota's eyes simply darkened as he summoned every bit of rage he had within him. Not just towards his father but all who were evil. This is why he became a hero so no other child or any person for that matter would have to suffer at the hands of people like his father ever again. And now his newest and most likely one of the greatest friends he had ever met since he had met Gira was gone. He had trusted Pota enough to dedicate his life toward his goal and Pota had led him straight to the grave.
"I'm gonna..." Veins in Pota's head started to push to the surface. "I'm gonna..." Pota's energy would begin to spike erratically and even in the air a crater would form on the ground just below him.
"I'M GONNA INCINERATE YOU!! YOU WORTHLESS EXCUSE FOR A WARRIOOOOOOOOOR!!"
Pota's ki exploded like a bomb around him as he yelled in rage and agony. He would slam his hands together like someone saying a prayer as green fiery ki built in his palms adding to the already large amount of ki he had poured into his attack already.
"I'M TIRED OF LOSING EVERYTHING AROUND ME IT ENDS NOW!!"
With his fingers locked together he would thrust out his palms and shoot out a large green beam enveloped in fire.
"SUPER NOVA BURST!!!!"

Callion heard the taunting of Tato, and subtly clenched his fist.
Soon.
Then Mr. Pota began to yell at his father, and he felt a massive amount of heat coming from somewhere behind him. Mr. Pota was beginning to get his attack ready. Suddenly, Callion felt a massive beam of energy fly over him, and that was when he knew he had to strike.
Opening his eyes, he raised his head up, and two beams of red energy flew from them adding to Mr. Pota’s own attack.
Please work. Please work. Please work.
Callion may have pleaded mentally, but he was already working out what to do next if this assault had failed. He was also working on his apology for Mr. Pota
